While Wingwaver was transferring from Planet V to Earth he came under attack by the Dinoforce but was saved by the Brainmasters. At their next engagement, Multiforce was able to employ their own secret weapon, Landcross, to combat the Dinoforce combiner [[Dinoking]]. Time after time the Multiforce has been called upon to detect hidden energy plants, uncover Decepticon plots, and defeat superior Decepticon forces.

The Multiforce were testing new stealth technology on Earth (presumably at some point before their appointment to the Vega Sector) when they suddenly found themselves sucked through a rift in time and space. Deposited on Earth in the early 1980s, the team discovered that they had arrived at the foot on [[Mount St. Hilary]] prior to its eruption. The volcano was being protected by a team of [[Autobot]] [[Micromaster]]s, and the six Multiforcers cautiously approached their headquarters, [[Metrobase]], in their stealth modes. When the base's sensors finally detected them, they decloaked and introduced themselves to the Micromasters, forming a fast alliance. The group was soon attacked by the Micromasters' Decepticon enemies, but the Multiforce quickly combined into Wingwaver, Dashtacker and Machtackle to fend off [[Decepticon Sixbuilder]], then merged into Landcross to send [[Sixwing]] packing. The toys are fully combined in Piranacon mode, holding [[Overbite (G1)|Overbite]]'s Targetmaster mode in his right hand and [[Snaptrap (G1)|Snaptrap]]'s newly chromed "incendiary sword" in the left. The decals are already pre-applied unlike previous re-issues in the ''Commemorative'' and ''Encore'' lines. Aside from the inclusion of [[Nautilator]], the set also includes seven metallic finish biocards (the seventh being for Piranacon).

: Just like the previous use of the mold set, certain degradations of the mold are very obvious, especially in Nautilator's hip area, although the 5mm holes and pegs have been readjusted somewhat from the much degraded state they were in on the Timelines release. : Noted differences from the original set, aside from the chromed sword, include: some mold colors have been changed and Snaptrap's head has apparently been moved from a black plastic [[sprue]] to a green one. The head change is likely a holdover from the Timelines run, as it was not the case on [[Halfshell]]. Previous screwed on connectors have been changed to riveted points. The stickers also appear to have been remastered after a fashion, as new highlights and gradients have been added to almost all stickers, as well as just being remarkably crisp and vibrant in general.

: The set is packaged in a way reminiscent of the Hasbro Masterpiece style transparent display box. The toys are fully combined in Piranacon mode, holding [[Overbite (G1)|Overbite]]'s Targetmaster mode in his right hand and [[Snaptrap (G1)|Snaptrap]]'s newly chromed "incendiary sword" in the left. The decals are already pre-applied unlike previous re-issues in the ''Commemorative'' and ''Encore'' lines. Aside from the inclusion of [[Nautilator]], the set also includes seven metallic finish biocards (the seventh being for Piranacon).

: Just like the previous use of the mold set, certain degradations of the mold are very obvious, especially in Nautilator's hip area, although the 5mm holes and pegs have been readjusted somewhat from the much degraded state they were in on the Timelines release. : Noted differences from the original set, aside from the chromed sword, include: some mold colors have been changed and Snaptrap's head has apparently been moved from a black plastic [[sprue]] to a green one. The stickers also appear to have been remastered after a fashion, as new highlights and gradients have been added to almost all stickers, as well as just being remarkably crisp and vibrant in general.

A total train-wreck of a soldier, Nautilator can hardly manage to ''swim'', much less follow complicated instructions within an aquatic environment. It is often said that the only positive quality he brings to the table is his inexplicable ability to return from the ocean depths with objects of value... but only ''after'' he's sunk himself there and had to be rescued.
