Following the Rebirth, Slicer followed [[Breakdown (G1)|Breakdown]] to [[Earth]], where he landed in [[Toulon, France]]. Due to a malfunction with his [[Neuro-Centre Control Unit]], his vocal processor got stuck with the local accent. Soon he fell in with [[Clench (G1)|Clench]]'s [[Generation 2|second generation]] of Decepticons, and in 2010, he helped Clench invade the [[Large Hadron Collider]] in [[Switzerland]]. The leader of the Autobot opposition, [[Pyro]], was captured and brought inside, while Slicer, [[Double Punch]], and a team of [[Sharkticon (G1)|Sharkticon]]s waited outside.

However, Slicer was temporarily downed when the Decepticons were attacked by Autobot reinforcements. Slicer recovered soon enough and joined the battle. The rest of Clench's troops emerged from the Large Hadron Collider having completed their primary objective, unlocking special powers within themselves using [[forestonite]]. But unfortunately, some of the Autobots also gained special powers, and once [[Sky-Byte (Timelines)|Sky-Byte]] left with his Sharkticons, Clench was forced to call for a retreat.
