I remember reading on a messageboard that in Japan there was a story published chronicling Galvatron's relationship with Megatron (BW) and their competition for leadership of the Predacon rebellion. I even heard there was art of Megatron and Galvatron fighting. Is ANY of this true or is it more messageboard BS? : I do remember the art, but I remember it in the context of "Welcome to the new characters you should be buying!" publicity shots that we saw in magazines at the end of BW's run in Japan. The "story" might've just been some fan "narrating" the events depicted in the art. I read this on a messageboard, after all. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find the pic, do you? Two things, mostly. In Japanese continuity, the Tripredacus/Trypticon Council play exactly the same role as they do in American continuity and have their hands in the Predacon rebellion. The other are a few remarks made by Magmatron in Neo about being "elected" after Galvatron. :Predacon politics are my special interest, and I can tell you right ogff, even if the TPC could elect EoD, they would not-- it's completely counterr to almost everythign about their overall goals. But- see- it wouldnt' turprise me if some dumbass japanese writer decided it'd be kewl to establish that some place. ::If I seem touchy-- there was a fan in TF fandom who had a lot of direct-contact with Japanese material, and he published guide and stuff... but mised in witht he stuff that was actualyl THERE, he'd put stuff that "seems likely" to him. And Neale's grasp of the meta-picture of hwo TF works was not strong enough to pull that off. And people cited it as fact. Still DO. ==Plastic or Marble?==
Hi there,
Odd little quibble here, but I was surprised to read the description of Galvy's "Galva-Matrix" as a clear plastic ball. Having owned the toy (although, unfortunately, not currently having it to hand), I could have sworn that the piece in question was actually a clear glass marble. Now, I'm not saying I'd bet my house on it, but I distinctly remember finding the material very odd and wondering what it was (i.e., I certainly didn't think it was just simple clear plastic) and tapping it with my fingernails to find it had a very hard, glassy feel to it. Does anyone else have this understanding? Or better yet, can anyone who owns one, and can easily pull it out, check this?

Funny you should mention that. I just came across this article and had the same exact thought as you did. Then I looked at the talk page and saw your comment. Luckily, I do happen to have a BW2 Galvatron on hand... looking at it, and tapping on it... it really does appear to be a glass marble to me. It's even got little tiny air bubbles inside, and that metallic sheen often seen on the surface of marbles. [[User:Rose.T|Rose.T]] 05:07, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
