Transformers (2007 film)
:Actor: Megan Fox (English) Kanako Toujô (Japanese-language dub voice)

Mikaela learned how to fix cars from her father, a long-time car thief. When he couldn't find a babysitter, he'd bring young Mikaela along, and she learned his trade. She hides her automotive knowledge from her boyfriends, for fear that they will be insecure around a girl who knows more about cars than they do.

She went to school with Sam Witwicky since first grade, but had failed to notice him at all during that entire time. After a spat with her boyfriend Trent, she dumped him, and Sam gave her a ride home in his new car. When the car suffered engine trouble, she took a look at the engine and was very impressed with the layout. Sam was more impressed with her. After Sam <strike>rode her home</strike> drove her home, Mikaela asked him if he thought she was "shallow", to which Sam awkwardly replied that he thought that there was "more than meets the eye...with...you." (totally NOT a reference to a particular subtitle).

The next day, Mikaela was having lunch with her friends when Sam passed by on his mother's bike, saying that his car was following him. Concerned, she followed him on her moped, but just as she caught up, Sam knocked her off. Angry, she demanded to know what his problem was...at which point a monster cop car came charging out from under the bridge where Sam had just been. Sam's Camaro knocked the monster down and then urged them to get in. After a hectic chase, the two teens arrived at a deserted chemical plant, where the Camaro transformed into a giant robot. However, the monster unleashed a spastic abomination that went after Sam and pantsed him. Heading to an abandoned tool shed, Mikaela found a power saw and attacked the smaller robot, decapitating it. Mikaela then watched with trepidation as Sam tried to communicate with his now-bipedal car, learning that it could only speak through the radio and that it was an alien who had summoned others of its kind to Earth. Mikaela remained unsure about re-entering the vehicle, but then Sam asked her a simple question: "Fifty years from now, when you're looking back at your life, don't you wanna say you had the guts to get into the car?" Mikaela reluctantly agreed...unaware that the decapitated robot had slipped into her purse.

She still refused to sit in the driver's seat, as the car was driving, so Sam argued that since he had the only other seatbelt, she should sit in his lap. Safety first, after all. Mikaela agreed, then admitted that it was a smooth move on Sam's part. She then asked why the car turned back into a piece-of-crap Camaro if it was such a super-advanced robot. Insulted, the car forced the two teens out, only to return moments later as a sleek and shiny 2009 model. The car then took them to a local observatory, where they could see when four meteors entering Earth's atmosphere. Mikaela instinctively reached for Sam's hand as this spectacle took place. The Camaro then brought them to an abandoned alley, where four more cars joined them, then transformed into robots. After inquiring Sam's identity, the lead robot introduced himself as Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, a race of sentient robots from Cybertron. Prime introduced Jazz, his first lieutenant; Ironhide, his weapons expert; Ratchet, their medical officer (who revealed that Sam's pheromone levels indicated that he wanted to mate with Mikaela, something that embarrassed both teens); and identified the Camaro as Bumblebee, Sam's guardian. When Mikaela asked their intentions, Optimus explained their mission to find the All Spark, the betrayal of Megatron and the Decepticons, and how Archibald Witwicky's glasses played a role in finding their target.

Heading to Sam's house, Mikaela was told to stay and watch the Autobots, though they eventually headed to Sam's backyard and proceeded to cause some havoc. Losing patience with Sam's inability to locate the glasses within a couple of minutes, Optimus gave Mikaela a boost up through Sam's window so she could help. Further difficulties arose when Ratchet accidently hit some powerlines, causing a blackout. The blackout and their shuffling around attracted the unwanted attention of the parents, and Mikaela hid before they came in. This led to some awkward conversation as Sam tried to explain what was going on, until Mikaela finally stood up, revealing her presence as a "<strike>girlfriend</strike>" "a friend" of Sam's. This genuinely delighted his parents, and his mother rather awkwardly apologized for their family discussion. Mikaela commented that she thought Mrs. Witwicky was nice.

When Sector Seven forcibly detained Mikaela and Sam's family, Agent Simmons revealed that she had a police record and threatened her father's upcoming parole hearing. This strategy nearly made Mikaela cry...until Optimus Prime ripped off the roof of their SUV and <strike>made Agent Simmons his bitch</strike> demanded that the agents get out of the car and release the two teens. After the Autobots rescued the pair, Sam expressed misgivings about Mikaela's history. She huffily confided to him that her record stemmed from her refusal to turn her father over to the authorities. Sector Seven soon recaptured both teenagers (along with Bumblebee) and brought them to Hoover Dam. There Sam negotiated with Simmons to have Mikaela's criminal record expunged as part of his reward for helping Sector Seven with the information he had about the Transformers. Mikaela was pleased with and grateful for Sam's change in attitude toward her.

Inside Hoover Dam, the teens, along Defense Secretary Keller, two hackers, and some soldiers, were shown the frozen body of N.B.E.-1, which Sam and Mikaela recognized as Megatron, as well as a demonstration of the All Spark. However, the robot hiding in Mikaela's purse had slipped away and contacted the other Decepticons. Sam, with some help from one of the soldiers, managed to convince Sector Seven to release Bumblebee, who reformatted the cube. They fled to Mission City, soon joined by the Autobots. During the Decepticon attack at Mission City, Bumblebee was injured by Starscream, and Mikaela strapped the injured Bumblebee to an abandoned tow truck. Sam told her to get Bumblebee (and herself) away from the battle, while he took the All Spark to a building to be extracted by the military. They left, but Mikaela was soon overcome with guilt and frustration for having left. Looking at Bumblebee, the injured robot gave a simple nod, and Mikaela decided go back. She drove the tow truck backwards through the battle while Bumblebee shot at Devastator, destroying the Decepticon.

After the death of Megatron, Sam and Mikaela began dating, even making out on Bumblebee while the Autobots watched. That's kinky.

Maggie Madsen isn't very good at handling people. Her superiors think it's downright unfair that someone that young and that hot also be that good. She hasn't yet figured out how to be tactful when she tells people who outrank her that they're completely wrong.

Maggie is a former analyst for the NSA who was fired for twice rewriting her supervisor's conclusions in reports. John Keller is aware of this, not because he knows everything, but because it's hilarious—she was right both times. That kind of brilliance buys her a little slack in his book...but only a little.

Maggie now works for the Rand Corporation with Glen Whitmann. She has a strong Australian accent.

She is quite possibly the only computer nerd in the world that goes to work in a miniskirt and high heels and is able to pull it off.

:(Note: Most of Maggie's "too brash for her own good" sub-plot was cut from the movie...because it's not very interesting. Her backstory comes from Transformers: The Junior Novel. In Transformers: The Movie Storybook the character is named "Maggie Marconi," probably an early development name.)

Fiction
Transformers (2007 film)
:Actor: Rachael Taylor (English) Marika Hayashi (Japanese-language dub voice)

Maggie and her fellow analysts were present at an emergency briefing held at the Pentagon when Secretary of Defence Keller revealed that SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar had been attacked by a mysterious and unidentified force, leaving no survivors. Pressing the point home to the young computer experts, Keller said that their enemy had attempted to hack into the base's mainframe but failed, leading the government to the conclusion that they would try again. Catching's Maggie's attention was the only clue left at the base, a mysterious frequency encountered during the hack, one unlike any seen before.

While analyzing the frequency for its origin, Maggie and her team discovered a hostile agent hacking into the mainframe of Air Force One, accessing almost the entire US Military defense grid. With no way to stop the enemy, Maggie suggested disconnecting all their servers, which proved to be successful. Later, Maggie snuck into a confidential briefing between Keller and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. When one high-ranking officer commented that the attack might have come from North Korea or Russia, she interrupted, explaining that the capabilities of this enemy were far in advance of anything they'd ever seen. She theorized the possibility of a living organism being the culprit, but Keller was unwilling to listen unless she provided evidence to back up her claims.

Frustrated at being stonewalled by the government and the military, Maggie copied the contents of the frequency data onto an SD memory card and left the Pentagon. Arriving at her friend Glen's house, she explained to him the dire consequences she would face if she was discovered with this information, and that he was the only hacker with the skills to access the secrets embedded within. His curiosity piqued, Glen proceeded to hack into the data, discovering images and files about something called Project: Iceman and an organization named Sector Seven. Within the signal itself, she and Glen discovered strange symbols. Before they could view any more information, an FBI assault team crashed through the front door and arrested everybody in his house.

Detained in a holding room at the Pentagon, Maggie observed Glen eat an entire plate of donuts while he pontificated his theory that the food was a test in character and guilt: If one did not eat the donuts, one was guilty, and he, for one, had a totally clear conscience. When Federal agents entered the room, Glen immediately cracked and accused Maggie of all the wrongdoing while casting himself in a sympathetic (if somewhat pathetic) light. Maggie told him to shut up as she explained she needed to speak to Keller and that they need to go about this crisis in a different direction before the United States went to war with the wrong country.

Much later, as Glen was recovering from his donut binge with a bottle of Pepto Bismol, Keller suddenly entered the holding room, telling Maggie to come with him as an advisor. He allowed Maggie to bring Glen along as her advisor. Soon, on a Army Blackhawk helicopter bound for Hoover Dam, she and Glen found themselves with two teenagers, Sam and Mikaela. Attempting to break the ice, Sam initiated conversation, prompting Maggie to ask him why the government got them. To Glen's astonishment, he replied that he had bought a car that turned out to be an alien robot.

Landing, the group joined up with Keller, Captain William Lennox, Sergeant Robert Epps and their men, escorted by Sector Seven director Reggie Simmons and Tom Banachek. The two spooks explained that they were all here because they'd been exposed to the N.B.E.s, a.k.a. the alien robots. Brought to a large, top-secret chamber, the group saw N.B.E.-1, whom Sam identified as Megatron, leader of the Decepticons. When he explained that Megatron was after the All Spark cube to transform all of Earth's technology into an army, Simmons brought the group to a viewing room looking over an even larger chamber encasing the massive All Spark.

To demonstrate the All Spark's power, the group was then herded into a containment room where experiments using the radiation of the All Spark were conducted. Asking for phones and electronic devices, Simmons took Glen's proffered Nokia cell phone, commenting that they were nasty stuff, yet the Japanese know the way of the samurai. Maggie incredulously (but quietly) noted that Nokia is from Finland, to which Keller responded (also quietly) that while that was true, if she hadn't noticed, Simmons was a rather strange man. Exposed to the All Spark's power, Glen's cell phone was transformed into a small, spider-like mechanical beast with a tiny machine gun and rocket launcher, which jumped at Maggie as she looked on in astonishment. Griping that the beast was breaking its containment case, Simmons sent an enormous electrical shock into the creature, killing it. Soon after, Hoover Dam came under attack by the Decepticons, intent on freeing Megatron.

Needing to get word out to the US Air Force while traditional communications were down, Keller, Simmons, Glen and Maggie rushed to an archive storage room where there was an old radio. However, they soon discovered that while the radio worked, it had no microphone. Maggie suggested to Glen that they hotwire a computer into the radio to send out a tone that they could use as Morse code to contact the military. As Glen did so, a Decepticon attacked, forcing Maggie to help barricade the door and load shells into antique shotguns for Keller. Simmons passed her a shotgun as he blasted the Decepticon with a flamethrower. The small enemy sneaked in via the air ducts and attacked the group with machine guns as Maggie, Keller and Simmons fought back. Eventually, Glen successfully managed to contact the Air Force just as an errant CD-razor projectile fired by the Decepticon destroyed its own head, (presumably) killing it. Transformers (2007)

Thunderblast is obsessed with power. Not attaining it for herself, but rather, latching onto a "male" Transformer who has a lot of power. She follows the strongest Decepticon she can find, and the stronger they are, the more infatuated with him she is. As such, she is usually seen clinging to Galvatron (who certainly doesn't reciprocate). But as soon as the power structure shifts, so does the focus of her affections.

Though she's fickle and flighty (and greedy and selfish and opportunistic and vain and overconfident and...) she's not completely stupid. She knows how to use her wiles to get what she wants, and she's no slouch in combat, especially underwater. She knows Autobots are generally reluctant to shoot at a female and uses that to her advantage as long as she can... at least, long enough to give them a face full of missiles.

She seems to have something resembling an actual friendship with Lugnutz. And while she's generally disappointed if guys aren't fawning over her, she's found that she wants nothing to do with the geeky Shortround, who is infatuated with her. On the other end of the spectrum, she has quickly gained the undying hatred of the human girl Lori.

Thunderblast arrived on Earth in the colony ship Atlantis millions of years ago. While the Autobots watched over and guided human evolution, the Decepticons terrorized the humans, inspiring the myths and legends of old; Thunderblast was the inspiration for the myth of Lorelei, and possibly the Sirens. These "monsters" were rounded up by the "monster hunter" Crosswise, who locked the criminals up inside a prison located in the center of the Earth (called the "Earth's Navel"), where they stayed until they were released by Starscream in the present day.

Thunderblast and Lugnutz defended Starscream's volcano-island base from the Autobots and Decepticons... up to a point. While Lugnutz decided to simply wander away from the "heavy scene", Thunderblast found herself less-than-impressed with Starscream, and took to following Megatron (whose power was just soooooo dreamy), joining his forces as they journeyed to Cybertron, which transformed into Primus' gargantuan robot mode.

There, while admiring her looks in a mirrored satellite, she was interrupted by a super-sized Starscream, who gave her the choice to steal the Omega Lock or get blasted to smithereens. She took the former option, but managed to weasel her way out of it by lying to Starscream, luring him planetside, then told Megatron that she was ordered to attack him. Starscream arrived and the two bickered, until they were interrupted by Optimus Prime and Wing Saber. All parties involved rocketed off to fight, leaving her free to wander off unperturbed. Escape (episode) Shortly afterwards, she tracked Jetfire and Wing Saber, leading Megatron to the missing Atlantis starship. Titans

When Megatron returned from the fire dimension, Thunderblast and the others continued to follow him, all the way to Gigantion. There, when she teamed up with Scourge in a hunt for the planet's Cyber Planet Key, they ran across an Autobot party consisting of Override, Wing Saber and the human Lori. Thunderblast and Lori very quickly got on each others' nerves, both browbeating Scourge, and when Thunderblast took off, Lori scared Wing Saber into following, leaving Scourge and Override to duke it out.

Wing Saber chased Thunderblast through the lower levels, but it was a trap, since the Decepticon was leading them to a harbor area, and water-combat was Thunderblast's element. Wind Saber took a fair pummeling, but Lori noticed a cluster of cranes, and she set them up so Wing Saber could lure the overconfident "floozy" (Lori's words). Thunderblast was crushed under a half-dozen massive claws, and Wing Saber took the chance to blast her while she was down, the explosion sending her flying away uncontrollably. Ambush

When Megatron (now Galvatron) and Starscream dueled over the Omega Lock and the four Cyber Planet Keys, Thunderblast briefly wondered if she was infatuated with the wrong 'bot. But when Galvatron emerged victorious, she followed him back to Cybertron happily. There, she and the few remaining Decepticons still loyal to Galvatron (Thundercracker, Ransack and Crumplezone) were given a boost of Omega Lock power, super-sizing them so they could take on the massed armies that had gathered from all of the colony worlds to oppose them. After being assaulted (and insulted) by Undermine and Brimstone, Thunderblast found herself going up against her old friend Lugnutz. Though she seemed shocked he'd side with the "good guys", she got over it pretty quickly and had no compunctions with trying to blow him away.

Ultimately, Galvatron's plot failed. Thunderblast realized that Galvatron was going to let her die in the cataclysm hat his plan would have caused, and along with the other now-de-powered Decepticons, ran off. When the rocket boosters that built on the Jungle Planet to push the world back to its normal place in the cosmos began to fail, the four Decepticons arrived, cackling... and helped with the efforts to keep the thrusters upright and functional, deciding to try being on the winning team for once.
Afterwards, Thunderblast, Ransack and Crumplezone went to each world, trying to find a place to fit in, and failing. Thunderblast in particular threw herself at about every strong male bot around, but looks like no-one was even remotely interested. When the Autobots were ready to begin their Space Bridge initiative, the trio built a rickety rocket, shanghaied the reluctant Thundercracker (who was really enjoying being an Autobot), and took off for parts unknown as the New Decepticon Army.

They made it as far as Mars before the rocket crashed.
She has a small rotating (non-firing) machinegun and a large missile rack on a rotating and elevating base in this mode.
Fred is quite possibly one of the most important human characters in the entire Transformers mythos. He f***in' owns you. Admit it.

Fred was the best (and possibly only) friend of Billy, Lincoln Middle School's resident would-be-bully. Fred was rather unmotivated by the prospect of bullying Rad and Carlos, preferring to occupy his time with eating assorted snack foods and mentioning that he was still hungry.

Later on, he and Billy became good friends with their former would-be victims, participating on many adventures with them due the fact Fred is awesome and indispensible to the Autobots. Plus, somebody had to bring all the food along.

One day, Rad and Carlos went out investigating the caves under the local observatory, so Billy and Fred followed, intent on discovering what the two were up to, as well as wanting to bully them for no apparent reason.

Unfortunately for Fred, Rad's activation of the caverns caused an earthquake that almost buried them alive (Fred, you knew the job was dangerous when you took it). When he and Fred finally crawled out of the rubble, they were greeted by the sight of gigantic, body-shaped depressions and footprints in the valley floor. First Encounter

Later, Billy and Fred managed to discover the truth about Rad and Carlos' toy robots, and were forced by Hot Shot to promise to keep the existance of the Transformers a secret, after saving their lives. Carnival

While attemping to once again harrass Rad and Carlos, Billy and Fred were captured by the Decepticons for nefarious purposes and imprisoned in one of those conviently abandoned ghost towns that seem to populate Earth in most Transformers continuities. While imprisoned, Fred offered the Decepticon Mini-Con Leader-1 some potato chips, which appeared to earn him the Mini-Con's friendship. When the Autobot rescue attempt went arwry, Fred was pivotal in securing their freedom from the Decepticons and their nefarious purposes because Leader-1 refused to do anything to harm the humans. Afterwards, the pair joined the Autobot team. Confrontation

* According to the Micron Legend Yearbook 2003, the producers of the Armada cartoon kept meaning to write Billy and Fred out of the series (is anyone honestly surprised by this?), but ultimately never got around to it. Their staying through to the end of the show was, thus, wholly unintentional.

* When asked about their status post-Armada, Aaron Archer joked that Billy and Fred now spend their time partying in the south of France. Go Fred!
When the Decepticon turncoat Starscream joined the ranks of the Autobots, Alexis took a shine to him. However, Starscream dismissed her, and the other human children as he was only concerned with defeating Megatron. Despite this, the kids asked Starscream to bring them back a souvenir when the former Decepticon and Jetfire travelled to Mars in search of a Mini-Con panel. In spite of his rude, lone-wolf demeanor, Starscream brought back a mysterious green rock for the kids, thus earning him a place in their hearts, in particular Alexis. Mars (Armada episode

In return for his kindness, the kids threw him a surprise party, sewing a large Chamois of Friendship out of several smaller rags. Much later, she revealed to Starscream that she had fashioned an necklace (that was somehow tied to his very spark) out of the rock he had procured for her. When Starscream was destroyed by Unicron, her amulet cracked symbolically, alerting her to the fact something was very wrong. Cramp
Alexis was hit hardest when Optimus Prime reported Starscream's noble death.
Ten years later, Alexis worked as a diplomat on behalf of the Earth Federation, usually as a liason between the nations of Earth and the Cybertronian Autobot-Decepticon alliance. Alexis traveled to Ocean City to tell the human crew and their Cybertronian allies about the Federation's decision to declare a position of neutrality in the latest Transformers conflict. While Alexis now represented the interests of Earth, she still has faith in Optimus Prime and trusted his decisions in the Energon war, just as she trusted him during in the Unicron Battles. Energon Stars
Alexis continued on in her governmental job, and by 2030 had apparently come to work quite closely with the President in some way, given that she was the only other person present on stage when the President appointed Colonel Franklin Earth's ambassador to Cybertron. Subsequently, she, Rad and Carlos were among the humans who bid farewell to the Autobots as they departed Earth to begin a new space bridge construction program. Beginning
She hung out with Rad and Carlos some more. Unlike Rad, she was never strapped to an explosive asteroid. She was present when the Autobots, Decepticons, and Mini-Cons left Earth to defend Cybertron from Unicron.

Some time after the conflict on Earth had ended, Alexis began to compile a comprehensive database of information on several Transformers. In the years that followed the Transformers' departure from Earth, Alexis became an activist, traveling around the world with other like-minded individuals to (violently) protest the misuse of Earth's natural resources.

One such trip found her in Australia, protesting Alterenergy's 01 Source research. Her group's protest was interrupted by a Terrorcon attack, from which she ended up saving the life of a young teenager named Kicker. What Lies Beneath Twice. She also saved the life of Rad when he came to rescue her. What Lies Beneath, Part 3

Though Rad, now an adult, was now smitten with the equally-adult Alexis, she was not happy to learn about his involvement with Alterenergy. In turn, Rad was annoyed with her drive to change the world, as it meant she wouldn't be sticking around. Later, after a Battle Ravage attacked the city, and Alexis disappeared in an explosion, Rad believed her to be dead. When she popped up alive and fine, they hugged.
* According to the now-defunct TV Tokyo Micron Legend website, Alexis was 11 years old at the start of Armada. The page also stated she was Asian, and that her Japanese name, Alexa, was short for Alexandra.

* Meanwhile, according to the liner notes of The Transformers: Legends of the Microns Sound of Evolution Vol. 2 (the second series soundtrack), there were difficulties coming up with character designs for the kids, as the producers had been given three mandated races: white, Hispanic, and Asian.
In the fires of an unknown place between time and space, the Vok aliens de-Sparked and fused the bodies of Tigatron and Airazor together to form Tigerhawk, a Vok-controlled super warrior intended to bring justice to the time-disrupting Transformers on prehistoric Earth. But when the two extracted Sparks unite and re-enter Tigerhawk's body, a different purpose and personality seems to emerge.

Tigerhawk is one of the most powerful Transformers in the Beast Wars. In robot mode, Tigerhawk can fly, has missile launchers under each arm, his wings double as shields, and he has wrist-mounted electricity cannons. His beast mode contains razor sharp claws and teeth, as well as a pair of chainguns on his forearms. However, these outstanding powers are nothing compared to his uncanny shamanic abilities to control the weather and terrain of Earth almost at whim.

Concerned with Megatron's constant futzing with the timestream, the Vok extracted the Sparks of the inert, captive Maximals Tigatron and Airazor. Their bodies were merged together to form the staggeringly powerful Tigerhawk. Inhabited by two members of the Vok species, Tigerhawk travelled to Earth as a blindingly powerful energy comet.

Tigerhawk's energy-ball plunged to Earth, impacting and utterly destroying the Darksyde. Declaring himself the emmissary of the Vok, he charged Megatron with "the willful disruption of time and space", and demanded Megatron's immediate surrender. Megatron was not so keen on this idea, and ordered a Predacon attack instead. Tigerhawk engaged and defeated the entire Predacon force, then shot down Megatron. Optimus Primal arrived at that point, concerned that if Megatron was killed, the Spark of the original Megatron would also be destroyed, thus worsening the damage to the time stream. Tigerhawk dismissed Primal's concerns as intolerable interference, and buried him in the ground with a wave of his hand. Tigerhawk was seconds away from executing the unconscious Predacon leader when Tarantulas disabled him with specialized versions of his arachnoid helper-drones.

Tigerhawk awoke to find himself a captive in Tarantulas' lair. The spider attempted to destroy Tigerhawk's mind by forcefully removing the Vok presence inhabiting it. Due to a fluke coincidence, Tarantulas only succeeded in destroying himself, alongside the Vok who had controlled Tigerhawk. The Sparks of Airazor and Tigatron, which followed Tigerhawk to Earth, merged to become one and entered Tigerhawk's body.Other Victories
Tigerhawk's memories appeared vaguem-at first he seemed not to remember being Tigatron or Airazor, yet after a moment he recognized Earth as "home". He remembered enough specifics of the Beast Wars to find surprising the appearance of Cheetor as a Transmetal 2 and Optimus Primal in his "Optimal" form.Nemesis, Part 1
Megatron, not long afterwards, discovered the Decepticon warship Nemesis, and attempted to use it to destroy the Ark itself. Tigerhawk attempted to single-handedly stop the Nemesis, and despite holding his own for quite some time against the legendary warship as well as simultaneously draining the ship of it's power just by holding it off, he was killed by the ship's main cannon.Nemesis, Part 2
At one point, Transmetal Airazor's spark became separated from her body, and her body was then possessed by a malevolent force. Airazor's body did battle with Tigatron, though Tigatron could not bring himself to hurt Airazor due to his affection for her. Desiring death over harming her, Tigatron gave her one of his katana and knelt down.

As evil Airazor struck his neck with the blade, the real Airazor's spark traveled through the katana and into Tigatron's body. Inside cyberspace, the two reunited Maximals embraced, vowing never to be apart again. As their sparks joined, Tigatron and Airazor were reborn as the powerful Tigerhawk! *Tigerhawk (Transmetal 2 Ultra, 1999)
:Japanese ID number: C-50

: Tigerhawk transforms into half-robotic, half technorganic flying robot tiger thing. Yes. In beast mode he is armed with 'feather' missiles very similar to the Fuzor Silverbolt's with spring-loaded switches to flip the wings forward, and flip out missile launchers which activate when a lever on Tigerhawk's back is pulled (which also moves the wings). Under his beast head is a small cockpit with a pilot's chair (see Trivia below).

: Like Transmetal 2 Megatron, Tigerhawk features a somewhat aborted 'third mode', which is just a minor rearrangement of his beast mode parts with his vacuum-metalized helmet covering his beast tiger head.

: In robot mode Tigerhawk has a decent level of articulation, though his elbow joints are designed in such a way as to not be particularly useful. Due to his heels being vacuum-metalized , they are especially susceptible to scratching as owners are likely to frequently reposition them to better cope with the heavy wings and gimmicks on his back.

:This mold was later used to make Universe Razorclaw.

*The extremely short duration of Tigerhawk's appearance on the show was the result of a strange confluence of factors. At the time, it was not at all certain that the Beast Wars franchise would be ending. However, at one point, after Tigerhawk had already been written into the show at Hasbro's explicit request, the company considered not releasing his toy at all. Thus he was ordered killed off immediately, and was. Hasbro eventually decided to release the toy regardless. Tigerhawk's toy did not appear on shelves until well after his death on the show.

*In the Beast Wars Metals manga, Tigatron was interpreted as a samurai; the katana being their weapon of choice. Hence the whole samurai motif for Tigerhawk.

*Originally, Tigerhawk, along with Optimal Optimus and Transmetal 2 Megatron were to have small driver-like figures sitting on control chairs located in cockpits on their bodies. These drivers were meant to represent their sparks. But Hasbro then later realized that kids might confuse these spark representations as drivers controlling the robots, so they were abandoned, but the cockpits remain. The spark pilot was eventually used in the Japanese release of Cryotek.

*Even before they were combined into Tigerhawk, Airazor and Tigatron had a gender-ambiguous history. Tigatron was a male robot with a beast mode that seemed to be scanned from a female tiger, while Airazor was a female character in the English version of the show and male in the Japanese version.

*Although often thought of as a Fuzor because of his two-combined-animals beast mode, Tigerhawk was never officially designated as such.
