'''Cliffjumper''' hates traitors. And anybody could be a traitor. Therefore, Cliffjumper hates everybody. It's unclear if he hates traitors more than he hates [[Decepticon]]s, but it's at least a neck-and-neck thing.

He makes a habit of pulling [[scale|ridiculously huge]] guns out of [[Exhaust port|nowhere]] and attacking impulsively despite orders or sanity. Somehow, this gets him neither killed nor demoted.

Cliffjumper's special weapon is his [[glass gas]], which embrittles metals on contact so that they shatter like glass. He is not immune to its effects, so its use requires careful consideration of wind direction. Actually, this may explain why he prefers the big guns. He doesn't seem like the calculating type.

Cliffjumper was a part of the crew on board the [[Ark]] when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while clearing an asteroid field in the path of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron.]] He was deactivated for a while during [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]]'s occupation of the Ark, but was repaired without incident when [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]] reclaimed it.

However, the head of [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] was still missing, and during an attempt to retrieve it, an impostor head took control of Prime's body, firing on Cliffjumper. ''Presumably repaired, he later participated in the [[Dinobot Hunt!|Dinobot Hunt]], along with [[Gears]] and [[Windcharger (G1)|Windcharger]]. Although they found [[Sludge (G1)|Sludge]], immediately thereafter all three were captured by the Decepticons. They were rescued by [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]].''

He was one of the observers to [[Blaster]] and [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]]'s battle on the [[moon]]. How he fared in the following [[Decepticon]] attack is unknown, but he's never seen again.

Cliffjumper was a part of the crew onboard the [[Ark]] when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago during a search for new energy sources. His [[alt mode]] was reformatted into an oddly proportioned Porsche 924 Turbo.

When the Autobots awakened from their four million-year slumber, Cliffjumper was eager for action. He volunteered to tag along on [[Hound (G1)|Hound]]'s recon mission to scout out Decepticons because he was itching to "boot some Decepticon right in his [[turbocharger]]." Though [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]]'s orders were only to find the Decepticons, Cliffjumper brashly tried to engage the enemy once Hound sniffed them out.

Cliffjumper missed his shot, and the Decepticons dispatched [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] to chase off the Autobot eavesdroppers. Hound got pasted by Laserbeak's laser blasts and ended up requiring extensive repair from Autobot medic [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]] after being pulled out of a ditch by [[Load Hauler|Hauler]]. It worked out in the end, though, since Cliffjumper was remorseful for having acted without thinking, and Hound didn't hold a grudge anyway. {{Storylink|More Than Meets the Eye, Part 1}}

Soon afterwards, Cliffjumper made a very public display of his paranoia by accusing fellow Autobot and reluctant soldier [[Mirage (G1)|Mirage]] of being a traitor on some very flimsy evidence, much to the (correct) disbelief of the other Autobots. He kept up his rhetoric even after Optimus Prime ordered him to can it. So determined was he to prove his theory true that he followed Mirage when the latter returned to the Decepticon power station to sow seeds of discontent within the Decepticon ranks. Fortunately, in the end it was proven that Mirage was a loyal Autobot all along, and Cliffjumper fell across Mirage's body, asking Ratchet to fix him for not trusting a comrade. This prompted a rather awkward laugh from the present Autobots. {{Storylink|Traitor}}

While pursuing [[Nightbird]], the female robot ninja built to benefit mankind, Cliffjumper was the only Autobot unable to jump up the cliff after her. Ironic. {{Storylink|Enter the Nightbird}}

In 2005, Cliffjumper was stationed [[Moonbase One]], and was left there with [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]] when Optimus Prime left with a few other Autobots to reinforce [[Autobot City]]. Cliffjumper was then eaten by [[Unicron]] along with the moon, but was saved from his internal acid pits by [[Daniel Witwicky]]. [[Hot Rod|Rodimus Prime]] then helped Cliffjumper escape from Unicron, but for [[Casey Kasem|some reason]], he was never seen again.{{storylink|The Transformers: The Movie (1986)}}

Cliffjumper was a part of the crew on-board the [[Ark]] when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while clearing an asteroid in the path of Cybertron.

He was one of many Transformers captured and reprogrammed by arms dealer [[Lazarus|Adam 'Lazarus' Rook]] for lease to terrorist organizations and shady governments requiring brutal military might. Fortunately, Autobots under the command of Optimus Prime repaired and re-reprogrammed Cliffjumper and the remaining captive Autobots. Immediately, they were put to work on fighting Megatron's metallic virus, which had spread deep into Canadian territory, using their own internal power as the anti-virus. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 5}}

As Cliffjumper collapsed into the snow out of exhaustion, the Canadian military arrived. Unfortunately, due to the recent attacks by both enslaved Autobots and Decepticons under the command of Rook, the Canadians attempted to stop the Autobots doing what they perceived to be an attack on their soil. Knowing that the virus feed upon weapons fire, Cliffjumper tried to stop a tank crew from causing further harm by bending the tank's main gun. The commander panicked, thinking Cliffjumper was attacking and fired, destroying himself and seriously damaging the Autobot. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 6}}

Sometime later, the unified Cybertronian army arrived on Earth and demanded the surrender of all active Autobots and Decepticons. After the initial encounter left several Autobots damaged, Optimus Prime brought most of his crew back to the Ark for repairs while [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]] organized a small detachment for reconnaissance purposes. Cliffjumper and Mirage were teamed together for the recon assignment, but were captured by [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] and his contingent of soldiers. Mirage gave up without a fight, eager to return home to Cybertron, which led Cliffjumper to declare him a traitor to the Autobot cause (deja vu...rising...). {{Storylink|Brothers' Burden}}

Still, they settled their differences once Mirage saved him from [[Dirge (G1)|Dirge]] during the uprising on Cybertron. {{Storylink|Revelation}}

Following the Autobot takeover of Cybertron, Cliffjumper was assigned to the shuttle [[Orion]] under [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]]'s command, bringing supplies back to [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]] and his troops on Earth. In "[[The Great Car Rally]]", a bunch of [[human]]s set up a race for charity. The victor would received a year's supply of oil and gasoline. Well, the Decepticons desperately wanted that bounty, so rather than just steal it, they decided to sneak into the race. Cliffjumper was one of the Autobots driving in the rally and was unaware that the scary black Cadillac was actually being driven by Megatron. Megatron dogged Cliffjumper for quite a while but ended up losing to the Minibot. Cliffjumper won the race and everybody smiled, even Optimus Prime.

However, when stuff exploded on Nebulos, Fortress Maximus was all "Waah, I'm on fire, where did our guns go?" and Crosshairs was pressed back into service as the Autobots' armorer. 

When [[Thunderwing (G1)| Thunderwing]] took control of the [[Creation Matrix]], he blasted Crosshairs. '''Bluestreak''' is a talker. He talks a lot. Any subject, any time of the day, his lips are flapping while his Autobot comrades are rolling their eyes. Could be about things on Earth, could be about things on Cybertron, could be about just about anything, but the point is, y'know, he's talking. Words are coming out of his mouth in a near constant prattling stream. Some think he's vapid, that his mouth just moves a billion times faster than his brain, if his brain is moving at all. Or they imagine that he's a fool who doesn't know when to shut up, that he drones on and on and on and on because maybe he just likes to hear himself speak or something.

His friends realize, however, that his jabbering hides a deeper pain. At the beginning of the [[Great War|war]], Bluesteak's home city was totally destroyed by [[Decepticon]]s. He was the only survivor. It's as if by talking he tries to somehow drown out his own fears and memories. "There's some demons runnin' loose inside that boy," says [[Hound (G1)|Hound]], "and sometimes I think they grab hold of him and won't let him go." He hated war, he still does, but ever since he's hated Decepticons even more. It is odd to see a bot of peace so willingly take up arms, but Bluestreak's got a score to settle.

Bluestreak arrived on Earth with his fellow Autobots four million years ago, and remained inactive until 1984. Along with [[Mirage (G1)|Mirage]] and [[Huffer]], Bluestreak was one of the less-sympathetic of the [[Ark]]'s crew when it came to humans. He once suggested repairing the Ark and simply abandoning Earth's people to the Decepticons, after hearing that [[Sparkplug Witwicky]] had allegedly provided their foes with a fuel conversion process while he was their prisoner.

Despite their conflicting views, [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] still recognized Bluestreak's skill as a sharpshooter, and chose him to be one of the five Autobots recharged in the Chambers of Transference, in the hopes that at least some Autobots would be at full capacity when the inevitable Decepticon attack came. When it did, Bluestreak was brazen enough to attack [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] himself, head-on. Along with several fellow Autobots, Bluestreak participated in the [[Europa 2000]], an international charity race stretching from Paris to Istanbul. Bluestreak was among the crew of the ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]'' when it crashed on [[Earth]] 4 million years ago, and awoke in 1984 to battle the Decepticons. After years of fighting, Bluestreak and the other Autobots took part in [[Operation Liberation]] in 1998, a joint human/Autobot operation that defeated and captured the Earth-bound Decepticons. However, the ''[[Ark II]]'', which was meant to convey the Autobots, the captured Decepticons, and a number of humans back to Cybertron was sabotaged by General [[Robert Hallo]], sending Bluestreak and his comrades to the bottom of the [[Arctic Ocean]].

Bluestreak was later recovered by the sinister [[Lazarus]], and his deactivated form was used to power [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]]'s deadly metal virus weapon. By the time he was rescued by Optimus Prime, his energy had been almost fatally depleted.

Bluestreak recovered, however, and rejoined his newly-active comrades. When Shockwave came to Earth and announced that the Autobot/Decepticon wars were over, and that the two factions had been united, Bluestreak was more than skeptical, suggesting it was a trick. The memory of his destroyed home-city still haunted him, and he would not believe the same beings who killed innocents could change their ways. His views clashed with [[Gears]]', who did not see the point in fighting wars that had been ended. In the first issue humans have discovered the transformers again after a year and a half of searching. Decepticons and autobots are captured by a human organization and used as metallic puppets of war. Grimlock leads autobots and decepticons in a slaughter of humans at an oil plant for energon (energon production and usage not shown)- slaughter is shown! The U.S. Government contacts the only person on record as ever having known about transformers. Spike Witwicky,who currently is a working man taking care of his baby son Daniel.
We learn that the autobots had united with humans to free the earth of all decepticons. Together the two races built a giant ship known as the ARK III the autobots loaded up the decepticons and planned to fly to cybertron. they would take a hand full of earth scientists as well as Sparkplug Witwicky. The ARK III would explode and crash before exiting earths atmosphere. No humans survive.
At the end of the book the U.S. reveals it has found a transformer, its.
Dramatically placed final image of last page (sorry can't spoil the epicness - also the collected volumes does not present this image in the same way - losing alot of the dramatic impact.)
