:June Darby is a human from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Ever since her husband left her, June Darby has been raising her sixteen-year-old son alone. When she's not spending time as a nurse at the local hospital, June's spending time being overprotective towards her son, who hangs out with warring robots from outer space. Who can blame her?

Fiction
Transformers: Prime cartoon
:Voice actor: Markie Post (English), Carolina Tak (Spain-Spanish), Katrin Zimmermann (German), Dulce Guerrero (Latin American Spanish), Cecilia Lemes (Brazilian Portuguese)
June called her son, Jack, after his shift at work finished. She asked if he was going to the dance, but he said no. She told him to be careful, but Jack had to go, as he had something on his mind. Darkness Rising, Part 1

June returned home from work late in the evening to find Jack standing with a motorcycle in their garage. She wondered how he had paid for the motorcycle and expressed her concern for his safety, but Jack was able to convince her that he was old enough and responsible enough to operate the vehicle. She made it very clear that he always had to wear his helmet.

Early the next morning, the motorcycle told Jack to leave a note for his mom when he left the house, to keep her from worrying. Darkness Rising, Part 2

Hearing rumors that Jack had been racing his motorcycle and complaints that he'd been neglecting his work and school, June confronted him after curfew and grounded him from using the motorcycle. The next day, she took a break from the hospital to go home and make Jack some dinner, but found the garage empty. She blew up at Jack, even though the motorcycle had somehow reappeared in the garage, and he spun some wild story about robots from space. Refusing to believe him, June returned to the hospital. Later that night, as she was leaving work, she was grabbed and bundled into a vehicle by some masked goons. She recovered consciousness to find herself in a cocoon dangling from a building, while Jack tried to rescue her from a menacing robot. Then Jack's motorcycle turned up in robot form and fought the other robot. After Agent Fowler came to their rescue, he tried to explain that Jack was interning for him, but June didn't buy it. Jack introduced her to Arcee, and they all went to base to meet the rest of the Autobots. Crisscross

June began regularly dropping by the Autobot base to check up on the kids, much to their regret. When Jack and Arcee were preparing for a routine maintenance check, June's overprotective questioning drove Arcee batty, and the Autobot instead opted to go out on a mission with Bulkhead. June stayed at the base, and when Arcee told an errant Miko to return there, Miko's loud comment that Arcee was as bad as Jack's mom could be clearly heard over the comm link. Taken aback, June asked if she was really that bad, and Jack declined to comment. On Arcee's return, June felt compelled to apologize for her earlier behavior. Metal Attraction

After Raf was injured in a Decepticon attack, Jack called in his mom to try and help. June did her best to stabilize the boy, but said that they'd need to get him to the hospital. Ratchet pointed out that the doctors there wouldn't know how to treat Dark Energon contamination, but he quickly came up with a treatment of his own. After Ratchet infused Raf with energon, June checked his pulse and confirmed that it was stabilizing. One Shall Fall

Following the rescue of Optimus, June informed him that she was taking Raf to the hospital, and also taking Jack and Miko with her, as the Autobots' war was no place for children. To her disappointment, both Jack and Miko refused to leave with her, so she departed in her car with Raf. They hadn't gone far when the car was almost struck by lightning and then almost pulled into a tornado, but Bumblebee managed a last-minute save and took them back to base. June was glad to see Jack again, but told him he was grounded. She stuck around while the Autobots realized that the chaos god Unicron was at the center of the Earth, but realized that no one had any idea what Unicron would do next. One Shall Rise, Part 1

The humans listened as the Autobots battled giant stone Unicrons, and as Megatron arrived to offer to help the Autobots defeat the Chaos Bringer himself. June was horrified that Optimus was even considering letting Megatron near the children, but Prime assured her they would keep everyone as safe as possible from him. The humans hid as Megatron arrived, but after Raf ran out to try to confront the Decepticon leader, June had to lead him back to safety. The humans all watched the Autobots and Megatron step through the GroundBridge into Earth's core. One Shall Rise, Part 2

After the TV went dead, June tried to distract the kids from the impending end of the world by suggesting they play a game. She took cover underneath Ratchet as the ground shook, and when it turned out that Prime's team were all OK, she found herself being hugged by Fowler. She and Fowler stood by with the kids as the Autobots returned through the GroundBridge with the news that Optimus had become amnesiac. One Shall Rise, Part 3
* Whilst it did not seem likely, up until "Metal Attraction" it was not particularly clear whether there was a Mr. Darby around. This is made somewhat confusing by Silas referring to June as "Miss Darby", but with Agent Fowler calling her "Mrs. Darby" in "Crisscross". The former-mentioned episode confirms that June's husband/Jack's father had left them.
* Agent Fowler seems to like her ,this is shown as he gets nervous when he sees her at the Autobot base and when he hugged her after Unicron's defeat.

Disguised as a remote-controlled monster truck toy, Wheelie was ordered by Soundwave to steal the AllSpark fragment that belonged to Mikaela Banes. Wheelie attempted to unlock the safe in her garage containing the fragment, but the noise he made in trying to avoid the various dangerous objects on the floor alerted her to his presence, so she picked him up with tongs and burnt out his left eye with a blowtorch. Mikaela then demanded to know what he was doing there, and Wheelie explained that he needed to bring the AllSpark shard to the Decepticons, or he'd be terminated, begging mercy of Mikaela, who he dubbed "Warrior Goddess". Despite his protests, Mikaela locked him inside a box, which she took to Princeton University when Sam Witwicky told her he had been having visions and breakdowns induced by the fragment. Although Starscream later bisected Mikaela's car, Wheelie's box was undamaged and she retrieved and stored it in Bumblebee's boot.

Wheelie was let out of the box at Seymour Simmons's deli in New York City. Mikaela held him with a chain, but promised she would not hurt him if he promised to explain the Cyberglyphics Sam had been hallucinating about. Wheelie identified the symbols as the Language of the Primes, and said that he couldn't read it. When he noticed the pictures of suspected Transformers, he identified them as the Seekers, saying they could read the language and he could tell them where to find them. Wheelie did, and he accompanied Mikaela, Sam, Simmons, Leo Spitz, Bumblebee, Skids and Mudflap to find Jetfire at the Smithsonian.

Upon locating the ancient Seeker, Wheelie told the humans that Jetfire was a living legend, like "chairman of the board" type, and instructed Sam to point the shard at the Blackbird. The surge of energon sent through Jetfire awoke the ancient Seeker, who was irritable and cantankerous, and Wheelie noted that Jetfire had not aged very well. As the larger Decepticon made his way outside, he inquired on the state of the civil war, and informed the group that he had defected years earlier. Wheelie was shocked by Jetfire's discussion of how he defected from the Decepticons to the Autobots, a thought which had never occurred to him, and decided he too would defect to Warrior Goddess, humping Mikaela's leg in joy. Sam objected, but Mikaela noted Wheelie was faithful, unlike her boyfriend. That did not stop Sam from punting Wheelie.

Wheelie was taken by Jetfire's space bridge to Jordan, and from there he travelled with the humans and Autobots to the Pyramids of Egypt. He was present in when Bumblebee was stopped by the Egyptian checkpoint officers. They arrived in Cairo, where he presumably decided to stay safely while everyone else searched for the Tomb of the Primes. Revenge of the Fallen (film)
In Egypt, Wheels stopped a police car by jumping onto its windscreen and smashing it, before Bumblebee and the Twins scared off the officers. It had been a year and a half since his defection, and the Autobots still didn't trust Wheelie (Ironhide in particular making no secret of his contempt) and he knew it. When he volunteered to help hit a Decepticon command hub and was rebuffed, Wheelie tore into the Autobots for how they would never trust him and how they were still waiting for him to backstab them. Bitter and angry, Wheelie went off... to backstab them, warning Bludgeon of the Autobot/NEST strike team so they could be ambushed.

But Bludgeon was being backstabbed too, as Wheelie disabled the command hub's security features and summoned in Megatron to Earth. Wheelie, along with his new friend Brains, moved in with Sam and Carly Spencer, where they spent most of their time going through Carly's underwear or watching Star Trek reruns. Wheelie and Brains had a deep friendship, as shown by their constant companionship and their agreement on the last girl being mean. However neither were exactly happy with their living arrangements, living in a box outside of the apartment itself, and had a dog for a neighbor. Wheelie complained about his living conditions, and said he wasn't so sure about moving in with Carly permanently.

They went with their human housemates to the NEST base to reveal information to the Autobots, however their offer of help was turned down by Charlotte Mearing. Wheelie later noted that they were disrespected greatly, and decided they were safer with Bumblebee at Sam and Carly's. However when the Autobots were forced to leave Earth by the human authorities, both Wheelie and Brains were captured and shoved into a small cage. They begged for help from Sam, warning him the whole thing was a Decepticons trap. The duo, along with the other Autobots, were presumed to be killed when Starscream destroyed the Xantium shortly after take-off.

Thankfully, Wheelie and Brains survived along with the rest of the Autobots by hiding in one of the booster rockets, and came to the aid of Sam, Epps and the human race in Chicago. Wheelie told them that he and the other Autobots would always help humanity and they soon marched off to battle, riding Leadfoot into the city. Unfortunately, Wheelie and Brains were left behind by the Wreckers when they were done distracting Shockwave, having fallen off while they were firing.

As they wandered through the streets hopelessly, mumbling about the lack of support, they happened upon a crashed Decepticon ship. They rode it up to one of the massive Decepticon "mother ships" hovering over Chicago that was controlling several smaller ships like the one they hijacked. Wheelie and Brains overrode the ship's controls, dropping several of the small fighters, as well as some of the Decepticon crew, onto the battlefield, causing a distraction just at the right second for Soundwave, preventing Bumblebee from being executed after Que. This also allowed the Autobots to gain an essential lead in the battle, proving the duo's worth in the end as the massive ship crashed into a large body of water below. Dark of the Moon (film)
: Part of the fifth wave of Legends Class figures, Wheelie transforms into a generic "remote controlled" 4 wheel drive pickup truck with oversized tires. You can see his eyes in vehicle mode, right where his rear window should be, yeah.
A prop for one of Wheelie's feet, complete with an attached tire, was also made.

* Wheelie was a bit different in earlier drafts of the Revenge of the Fallen script. Originally, he was named "Wheels", and was a much more primitive little creature, speaking in a broken, simplistic dialogue—source of the "Warrior Goddess" epithet that is pretty much completely out of place with the fast-talking Italian accent he ultimately wound up with in the finished film. This version of the character appeared in the film novelization in the IDW comic adaptation, since they were both based on the script; furthermore, Simon Furman rather oddly kept using this portrayal of the character in Titan's UK comic several months after the film had come out before knocking it off about a year-and-a-half later.

*In their audio commentary on the Revenge of the Fallen DVD and Blu-ray release, screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman refer to Wheelie by his early working name, "Wheels". Michael Bay, meanwhile, calls him by his toys' name.

*Seeing Mikaela for the first time, Wheelie describes her as "hot" but "not too bright." Interesting that a sentient machine would find a human sexually attractive. He, in fact, humps her leg later in the movie.

*Titan Magazines and Hasbro UK seemed unaware of Wheelie's return in Dark of the Moon, since in their comics, Wheelie defected back to the Decepticons - in a way that left an Autobot dead - in one issue and then had him eaten in the next! The Autobots are unaware he betrayed them and talk like Ratchet can patch him up, but that seems a last-minute "oh whoops" patch-up.

*Despite changing sides in the previous movie, Wheelie still sports an embossed Decepticon symbol on his back in Dark of the Moon.

Foreign names
A gang of Predacons plot a heist that will ultimately impact time itself...

Synopsis
In his secret lair, Cryotek waxes over the genius of the plan to steal valuable data revealing the location of the Golden Disk... after all, it was his plan. He dispatches his agents in groups to carry it out, including his star pupil Megatron, who is under strict orders that only Cryotek is to decode the location data from the files Megatron is to steal.

Later, at Maximal Power Station B4-Y, "Scorponok" is planting time-bombs, but is interrupted by a security guard. The guard is interrupted by Backslash, who stabs the guard from behind with an energon blade, then admonishes Scorponok's sloppiness.

At the Cybertropolis Maximal Data Archive, Megatron, "Dinobot" and Dirge wait on the rooftops for the reports from the other two teams.

At Predacon Transwarp Research Center D-F, "Terrorsaur", "Waspinator" and Buzzbomb bust in and completely shoot up the joint in order to secure a getaway ship.

Back at the power plant, Backslash finds himself held at gunpoint by a Maximal security officer while setting his own bombs. He's observed from a safe distance by Scorponok, who laughs at his partner's predicament before remote-activating the explosives, killing Backslash and the guard, and shutting off power to a major portion of Cybertron.

With power down and the security system for the archives shut off, Megatron and Dinobot make their descent. A security guard, spooked by the creepy statues, is snared by Dinobot and smashed into a wall. The two Predacons make their way to a data storage chamber, and Megatron pulls out a large datacard, placing it in a storage box of its own. With a puff of air, a tracking bug fires from the archive's storage shelf, attaching itself to Megatron. Against Cryotek's orders, the container records and transmits the information to "Tarantulas", who cackles with glee as he begins to interpret the data. Dinobot plants his own time bomb in the archive...

Power is re-routed to the city. In the Predacon hangar, Waspinator and Terrorsaur mop up the last of the resistance, including Cryotek's lackey, Buzzbomb.

Megatron and Dinobot make their exit, only to find themselves facing down numerous Maximal Command Security Force members. Dinobot leaps into the air, throwing the datacard container high into the air, where it is snagged by Dirge, who rockets off at speed. Megatron and Dinobot fight their separate ways through the security forces, Dinobot scraping his way down the building's side before facing off against the MaxCop commander 9K. The two rush at each other...

Dirge returns to Cryotek with the container. Cryotek smiles in anticipation, and when asked about the Maximals, reveals that he was the one who alerted them to the theft. After all, someone had to take the fall for the heist... and as fond as he was of Megatron, not only was he replaceable, but he knew his pupil would doublecross him sooner or later. Cryotek discovers that "sooner" was sooner than he anticipated, as the storage box is empty, containing only the tracking bug from the archives. As floodlights bathe the chamber in harsh light and MaxCops swarm in, Cryotek screams his pupil's name in rage...

...and elsewhere on the planet, Megatron, Dinobot and Scorponok make their way to the chamber that holds the Golden Disk...
Notes
*"Theft of the Golden Disk" was originally shown at Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the 2007 "Collectors' Club" panel. It premiered online on January 8, 2008.

Animation and technical errors
* When Megatron was under fire by the MaxCops after leaving the archives, when he fired back at them, his shots that hit them impacted with a "digital deletion effect" rather than an explosion-like one.
* Cryotek has an unpainted Decepticon insignia on his left shoulder. This error isn't terribly surprising given the fact that Cryotek's body was created from a Shockblast model.

Continuity errors
* Scorponok, Terrorsaur and Tarantulas have different bodies than they do in the comic following these events (see below). This is due to the production schedules of the animation and comic resulting in there not being enough time to make completely new models and render new scenes based on the final comic designs; the "non-toy" show-Predacon trio's animation bodies are based on toy-models that had been made well in advance of the actual production.

Transformers references
* This animation is an immediate prequel to the events of BotCon 2006's comic story "Dawn of Future's Past", ending perhaps only seconds before the comic begins.

* Most of the sound effects in this animation are pulled from the original Generation 1 cartoon, notably the metal footfalls, laserblasts and classic transformation sound. Also, the music that plays over the ending credits is a remix of the ending theme music from the original cartoon.

* A Diagnostic Drone hovers behind Cryotek in a few shots.

* Behind Cryotek is a screen that displays the Vehicon symbol. Also shown is the Motorcycle Drone from two angles.

* There are several "Easter Eggs" inside the archives.
** Statues of Antagony and Jhiaxus
** A Cyber Planet Key
** A replica of the Matrix

* The exterior statue Dinobot uses to regain control of his fall is a heavily stylized rendition of Icepick's Pretender shell.
* One of the workers killed by Waspinator and Buzzbomb resembles a non-organic version of Dinobot's first Beast Wars body.
* Another worker resembles a pre-Beast Wars Terrorsaur coloured like Lazorbeak or Hydra
* Yet another resembles what might be a pre-Beast Wars Inferno

* The bombs Scorponok plants use Autobot energon star models.

Real-world references
* The script is heavily influenced by The Maltese Falcon, down to Cryotek and Dirge's performances, which were patterned after Falcon actors Sidney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre (respectively).

Trivia
* The YouTubed version also contains an extra scene not in the BotCon reel; a shot of the Darksyde in the hangar Terrorsaur, Waspinator and Buzzbomb took over. The ship never actually appeared in the original version. Oops.
* The trailer for this episode short includes a brief glimpse at a scene in which the Darksyde begins to take off. This was not seen in the episode itself (or at least, not in the YouTube version).
* It is awesome.
