'''Beast Wars: Transformers Transmetals''' is the name of two seperate games, one for the Sony Playstation and one for the Nintendo 64. The two games share a primary theme; characters from the second season of the [[Beast Wars]] television series duking it out in one-on-one combat, but the games differ in character selection and bonus features.

=Story Summary=
Both games feature an all-out battle between the [[Maximal]]s and [[Predacon]]s. The player's character must fight through all possible enemy forces in order to beat the game. In the Nintendo 64 version, there is a final battle with an upgraded version of [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]], called "Megatron X". Megatron X is identical to [[Transmetal]] Megatron, except chromed and outfitted with a pair of dragon-like wings. ''(Note that the player must fight Megatron X even if said player is actually using Megatron as their character!)''

The games diverge at their conclusions; the Playstation version has a very vague ending for either faction that generally upholds the status quo; the N64 version features individualized text stories for each character, the vast majority of which involve somehow finding The [[Ark]] and fiddling about with the timestream.

=Trivia=
Both versions of the game include a bonus feature where images of various Beast Wars toys can be unlocked.

The Playstation version of the game features the voices of [[Gary Chalk]], [[Ian Corlett]], [[David Kaye]], [[Campbell Lane]], [[Scott McNeil]], and [[Alec Willows]].

The N64 version features several mini-games, mostly involving timed button-mashing.

One of Rampage's alternate color schemes in the Playstation version bears a striking resemblance to [[Shokaract (BW)|Shokaract]].

When was this Letters-page from? It it was from 1990 or later, I'mg onna have to back Hooper's idea that both Toaster and Carmen's name are multi-level puns designed to evoke somethign sound/music related, because the Carmen Curlers are a dutch chior oreganization founded in 90 that got a lot of of press because it was one of Europe's first Gay/Lesbian groups, back when that was touchy. It's the same reason that Wheeljack sounds totally Jewish and Perceptor sounds British and Doctor Who sounds like he's from the North... lots of planets have a North. (Also, I always had this little fanon idea that Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Omega Supreme, and the other guys who had "greek" or "latin" names on Earth actually had like, ancient Quint names on Cybertron, and the renaming translation process on earth reflected that.
