By the year 2006, the once mighty Cobra organization had apparently been defeated. Cobra Commander, who was the only one of his organization that had not been put in jail, was now going by the alias "'''Old Snake'''". He was left with little to do to pass the time but hire out his services. He was an independent contractor—''of terror''!

A mob boss named [[Victor Drath]] had hired Old Snake once in the past, and decided to hire him again to learn the secret of [[synthoid]] technology so that he might use it against the [[Autobot|Autobots]]. Snake took the job and used the synthoid technology to craft "human" bodies for [[Hot Rod (G1)|Rodimus Prime]], [[Arcee (G1)|Arcee]], [[Springer (G1)|Springer]], and [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], then somehow transferred their minds inside them. Drath planned to then destroy the Autobots' now mindless robot bodies, but Old Snake dissuaded him, noting what excellent weapons they would make.

Eventually, the Autobots managed to return to their original Cybertronian bodies and Victor Drath and his gang were arrested. However, Snake managed to escape capture.

After watching Drath and his gang get hauled away, Old Snake walked into the sunset. He mused to himself that "they just don't make terrorists like they used to", and began shouting the old Cobra battlecry to the heavens, perhaps for old times' sake.

Joe, and ordered him to send [[Zarana]] to retrieve the uncouth mercenaries. After [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] appeared in [[Destro]]'s castle (believing it was a Transformer, since it was a shape-shifting building) {{storylink|Unfoldings!}}, Cobra Commander offered him a deal: a new body in exchange for [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertronian]] technology. {{storylink|Realignments}} Megatron agreed, but Cobra Commander betrayed him, infecting Megatron's rail gun (the new version of his fusion cannon) with a computer virus to disable it. Megatron discovered the virus, removed it and transferred it to the Cybertronian technology he gave to Cobra. {{storylink|Final Transformations}} However, Cobra Commander didn't know this, and arranged for the Cybertronian tech to be transported back to their HQ. [[Hot Spot (G1)|Hot Spot]] found out about this, and couldn't let the technology fall into Cobra hands, so he attacked the Cobra convoy. Hot Spot succeeded in destroying the truck carrying the Cybertronian tech, but even despite help from [[Hawk (G.I. Joe)|Hawk]] and [[Snake-Eyes]], he had taken heavy damage from Cobra Detonators, so he chose to self-destruct rather than let his body fall into the clutches of Cobra Commander. {{storylink|All or Nothing!}}

Following directions from [[Destro]], Cobra Commander and the [[Baroness]] unearthed an [[Ark (G1)|alien spaceship]] in 2003, before Cobra had made itself known to the world. Finding the ship full of [[Transformer|giant deactivated robots]], Cobra Commander ordered his troops to haul the aliens away and re-seal the craft. Cobra's scientists soon managed to reprogram the robots to be under their control, except for the one known as [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], who was merely locked into the form of a gun and held at Cobra Commander's side. Cobra revealed themselves to the world some time later, when Cobra Commander led an attack on a peace summit in [[Washington, D.C.]] using his new "[[Battle Android Trooper]]s". {{storylink|G.I. After the attack, the commander returned to [[Cobra Island]], where he forced Megatron to give him information on [[Energon (fuel)|energon]] and noted a breach in Cobra's network security. Cobra Commander tried to defend himself using Megatron, who strictly refused to fight unless he was restored to his normal self. Realizing he had no other choice, the commander released Megatron and ran away while the [[Decepticon]] clashed with Optimus Prime. He made it to the island's shore, only to have [[Brawn (G1)|Brawn]] and [[Gears (G1)|Gears]] blow up his escape ship and attempt to capture him. Luckily, he was saved by [[Storm Shadow]] and his [[S.N.A.K.E.]] mech. {{storylink|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers issue 4|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #4}} The S.N.A.K.E. squad protecting Cobra Commander was then discovered and defeated by a different group of Autobots, forcing him to flee on foot while grumbling that he was going to need a new ninja. {{storylink|G.I. Two years later, Cobra Commander had somehow turned this grudging partnership into something more pleasing for himself, as Starscream was now happily following his orders. After learning about the supercomputer [[Teletran 3]] on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], connected to Earth via a strange wormhole, Cobra Commander figured that the computer's [[teleportation]] technology would be invaluable to Cobra. He then traveled to [[Portugal]], where he convinced Destro to provide him with the financial support needed to hack the computer. When Cobra Commander and Destro were overseeing the process in their [[Boston]] facility the following day, they came under attack by G.I. Joe, and were suddenly sent to Cybertron when Cobra's wormhole computer malfunctioned. Cobra Commander wasted no time in ordering his troops to kill the Joes and steal Teletran 3, but was interrupted by the arrival of several Autobots and Decepticons. He mostly faded into the background after [[Perceptor (G1)|Perceptor]] called him imperious and Destro told him to shut up. {{storylink|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers II issue 1|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers II #1}} When the whole affair was over, Cobra Commander argued with Destro some more and noticed that Starscream had fled, but he didn't really care about that. Thanks to [[Zarana]] infiltrating [[Area 52 (G1)|Area 52]], Cobra Commander learned that US government had used Megatron's remains to create the "[[Serpentor|Serpent Organic Robot]]", a biological android imbued with the experience of the world's greatest tacticians and warriors. Cobra Commander naturally wanted Serpent O.R. on his side, and staged a massive attack on Area 52, distracting its defenses with an army of new Battle Android Troopers while he and [[Zartan]] sneaked in on a [[Buzz Boar]]. After incapacitating [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]], they freed Serpent O.R., only to learn that the android had retained some of Megatron's unpleasant memories of Cobra Commander, and definitely had no intention of being anyone's servant. While the commander had Zartan place a device on Serpent O.R.'s neck, they were quickly knocked out by his tentacles. {{storylink|The Art of War issue 1|The Art of War #1}} After recovering, Cobra Commander cursed the day he found the Transformers, and was about to smash Bumblebee's face in with a lead pipe when G.I. Joe and some Autobots arrived and demanded answers. He briefly explained to them what he had come for, but was interrupted when Serpent O.R. reappeared and attacked everyone. After returning to the Cobra [[Terrordrome]] in [[Siberia]], Cobra Commander worked with [[Doctor Knox]] to take control of Serpent O.R. using the device Zartan had planted on him. He happily claimed that with the power of a god, he wouldn't need any of his old underlings. {{storylink|The Art of War issue 4|The Art of War #4}} The perfect chance soon came, as Serpent O.R. defeated Optimus Prime and stole the [[Matrix of Leadership]], transforming himself into the mighty "Serpentor Prime". Possessing the android's body, Cobra Commander killed two of his lieutenants, [[Razorclaw (G1)|Razorclaw]] and [[Motormaster (G1)|Motormaster]], while laughing at Serpent O.R. for being willing to give his power up. He soon came under attack by the Autobots and G.I. Joes he had met at Area 52, but took most of them out using Serpent O.R.'s tentacles, all the while bragging that he would conquer everything from the comfort of his lab and only regretting that he couldn't kill Megatron and Starscream personally. However, [[Arcee (G1)|Arcee]] managed to rip his chestplate off, allowing [[Hawk (G.I. Joe)|Hawk]] to absorb the power of the Matrix out of him. In 1938, Cobra Commander learned that an "ultimate weapon" was hidden on the [[Fera Islands]], and ordered [[Major Bludd]] to retrieve it. When the major returned with the [[Matrix of Leadership]] and a number of [[Decepticon]]s in tow, Cobra Commander started wearing the relic on his person and allied himself with [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], leader of the Decepticons. By the summer of 1939, Cobra and the Decepticons had conquered several [[Europe]]an nations, and the commander anticipated that the [[United States of America]] would soon make their move. [[Destro]] suggested that they withdraw a third of their forces to defend their headquarters on the Fera Islands, but Cobra Commander angrily dismissed his idea, as the US troops didn't even know where Cobra's base was located. {{storylink|The Line}}

A few hours later, a US [[G.I. Joe (team)|strike force]] airdropped near the Cobra base while Cobra Commander was busy inspecting his jewelry. After verbally assaulting Destro for practically everything he said, the commander dispatched [[Zartan]] and a squadron of [[Rattler]]s to deal with the attackers. {{storylink|Transformed}} Shortly afterwards, Megatron that the Decepticon-Cobra allliance was no longer of use to him, and tried to attack Cobra Commander. In response, the commander revealed that he could use the Matrix to harm Megatron, bringing the Decepticon leader to his knees. While he decided to spare Megatron for now, Cobra Commander warned him that if he ever rebelled again, he wouldn't be so lucky. {{storylink|Trial by Fire (issue)|Trial by Fire}}

As the enemy troops, now allied with the [[Autobot]]s, closed in on the Cobra [[Terrordrome]], Cobra Commander ordered Major Bludd to take the civilians and slaves in the area and use them as a human defense line. With the enemy unable to attack innocent people, the commander was free to pick them off using [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]]'s cannon mode. As Shockwave fired on [[Superion (G1)|Superion]], Cobra Commander held a dramatic speech about how people once saw him as a madman just because he saw his own destiny as future ruler of the world... but now, anyone who stood against him would burn! {{storylink|Trenches}}

However, despite Cobra Commander's efforts, the enemy continued to advance. His troops were scattered, his slaves were rescued, and Shockwave broke down from overuse. When he tried to get Megatron's help, the Decepticon leader only mocked him. Shortly thereafter, Cobra Commander was caught in a rockslide caused by [[Bruticus (G1)|Bruticus]], which crushed his legs. His pleas for help were ignored by Megatron, who instead transformed into gun mode and offered Cobra Commander a quick and easy way to end it all. The commander held Megatron to his head, but ultimately threw him away, unable to kill himself. The gun was quickly picked back up by [[Baroness]], who told Cobra Commander that while he had always loved power, he had never known what to do with it. Some fifty years later, in 1986, Cobra Commander was back in action. On his base on [[Cobra Island]], he learned that an alien craft had crashlanded near [[Portland]], [[Oregon]], and dispatched a squad to retrieve it for Cobra. {{storylink|Targets of Opportunity}}

* Fans have been known to compare Cobra Commander with [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]]. Both were notoriously treacherous. Both had a [[Megatron (G1)|superior]] [[Serpentor|that they wanted to get rid of]]. And of course, they were both voiced by Chris Latta.
* Following the trend started by Latta, of the three English-speaking actors to have portrayed the various [[Starscream (disambiguation)|Starscreams]] in subsequent animation and films, two have also voiced contemporary incarnations of Cobra Commander. [[Michael Dobson]] provided the voice of [[Starscream (Armada)|''Unicron Trilogy'' Starscream]] and Cobra Commander in the ''Spy Troops'' and ''Valor vs Venom'' movies, while [[Charlie Adler]] performed [[Starscream (Movie)|Movieverse Starscream]] and the ''Resolute'' version of Cobra Commander. Whether or not either of these were deliberate instances of duplicating the old Latta formula is unknown, but we're sure [[Tom Kenny]] feels left out. In contrast, there have been quite a few other actors who have voiced Cobra Commander, but haven't had their turn at Starscream.
* As of ''Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots'', [[Snake]] goes by the code name Old Snake. Spoiler alert: Cobra has a Metal Gear.

[[Teleportation]] is a dangerous tool in the hands of a capable adversary. Thankfully for the [[Autobot|Autobots]], '''Skywarp''' is the Decepticon who possesses that ability. Skywarp's not so bright, so without supervision he's worthless as a warrior. He mostly uses his teleportation power for immature pranks on both friend and foe. He takes a charmingly puerile angle at thuggery, so his pranks are well-received amongst his Decepticon peers (excepting the victim, of course).

Because, come on, a surprise push down a staircase is ''hilarious''.

Skywarp was one of [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron's]] troops who attacked the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] during its mission to clear a path for [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] through an asteroid field. He was deactivated when it crashed on [[Earth]], and he lay dormant for four million years. When he and his fellow Decepticons awoke, Skywarp was given a new [[Alternate mode|altmode]], that of an Earth jet. {{storylink|The Transformers (issue)|The Transformers}} He aided the Decepticons in their building of their new base constructed of parts from [[Harrison Nuclear Power Plant]] and joined in their attack on [[Sparkplug Witwicky]]'s auto repair shop. After the successful abduction of Sparkplug Witwicky, Skywarp, [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]], and [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] defended their base from [[Autobot|Autobots]], though [[Gears (G1)|Gears]] and [[Spider-Man]] were able to sneak through and rescue Sparkplug. {{storylink|Prisoner of War!}}

Though Sparkplug Witwicky was able to devise a way for the Decepticons to convert Earth fuel into a usable substance, he also poisoned the result, so Skywarp and his fellow Decepticons were immobilized at the climax of their would-be final battle with the Autobots. {{storylink|The Last Stand}} The Decepticon [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] took command of the Decepticons and the Ark shortly thereafter and nursed Skywarp and his comrades back to full health. Skywarp may have helped Shockwave attempt to capture and brainwash [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] into a Decepticon, or it may have been Thundercracker without red stripes. During a massive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth's moon, Skywarp and the other Decepticons held in stasis aboard the Ark were liberated by the [[Constructicon (G1)|Constructicons]] and subsequently brought back online. {{storylink|Totaled!}} During the first Decepticon Civil War, Skywarp battled with [[Ratbat (G1)|Ratbat]]'s Decepticons against [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]]'s Decepticons. Skywarp surprised [[Bugly]] with his teleportation powers and blasted him, temporarily stunning him. Optimus Prime, learning of the Decepticons' attacks on Earth, traveled there alone not to fight them but to talk Megatron out of it. Prime was really surprised to learn that this was a really stupid idea, and as Megatron tore Prime apart and severed the Matrix from his body, Skywarp stood by with other Decepticons and watched. He and the rest of the Decepticons retreated with the Matrix when the Autobots showed up to save Prime. {{storylink|The Gathering Darkness}}

The Autobots and the Decepticons had just agreed to make an alliance against the [[Cybertronian (faction)|Cybertronian Empire]], but the Decepticons disagreed about aiding other planets' people. When the Autobots went alone to fight the Cybertronians, they almost were defeated, until Skywarp (yes, this article is about him) suddenly warped into the battle, followed by the rest of the Decepticon army, to aid the Autobots.

His broken body rescued from [[Tokyo]], Skywarp was rebuilt using Shockwave's upgraded [[Seeker (body-type)|Seeker]] schematics. He was told that it was Starscream, driven mad with the power of the [[Underbase]], who did him in. Skywarp's okay with that. After the appearance of the mysterious crossdimensional Decepticon [[Landquake (Timelines)|Landquake]], Skywarp and the other rebuilt Decepticons under Megatron's command traveled to [[South America]] to investigate an equally mysterious power source that seemed to share traits with Landquake. In the early days of the Decepticon rebellion, Skywarp and [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]] both faced the powerful protectors of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron's]] cities, the [[Guardian Robots]]. Even millions of years later, the powerful Guardians struck fear into Skywarp's spark. {{storylink|War Dawn}}

Skywarp was one of the elite Decepticons that served [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Megatron]] on Cybertron four million years ago. Skywarp and his fellow Seekers came across the Autobots [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] and [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] pilfering [[conductor|energy conductors]], and tried to eliminate the Auto-jerks. Once Wheeljack broke through their defenses, Skywarp and Thundercracker transformed to their tetrajet modes and followed the Autobots. They managed to get a good shot in against Bumblebee, but soon both Autobots escaped termination by taking the chase underground. Skywarp later joined Megatron in attacking and boarding the [[Ark (G1)|Autobot ship]] on their search for energy. After crash-landing on Earth, the Decepticons and Autobots laid dormant for four million years, until volcanic activity stirred the ship's computer back to life. Skywarp was the first of the ship's Transformers to be reformatted and awakened by [[Teletraan I (G1)|Teletraan I]], in the form of an Earthen F-15 fighter jet. Since the Decepticons were so badly short-staffed during their early days on Earth, Skywarp was usually involved in whatever crazy plot for universal domination Megatron was hatching. On the last raid, Skywarp and Thundercracker caught a pair of snoops -- Bumblebee and the human, [[Sparkplug Witwicky]]. When [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] was caught spying on the Decepticons' new [[Space Bridge]], Skywarp and Starscream captured him for Megatron. After Bumblebee was reprogrammed to led the Autobots into a trap, Skywarp biffed [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]] from behind, causing him to fall down in an almost pushing-down-stairs-like fashion. {{storylink|Transport to Oblivion}} After the Decepticons acquired the [[antimatter]] formula, they were en route to the Ark when [[Sunstreaker (G1)|Sunstreaker]] and [[Sideswipe (G1)|Sideswipe]] intercepted them, practicing their jet judo maneuvers. Skywarp was being thrown off-course by Sideswipe's antics until Starscream knocked the Autobot warrior loose. During the battle, Megatron charged himself up with the Decepticons' new toy, and transformed into an "anti-matter gun" to obliterate the Autobots. After Starscream had his turn with the gun, Skywarp got ready to blow some Autobots away too. Skywarp was later part of a Decepticon raid on a factory, apparently in a very playful mood with his teleporting power. First he 'ported behind some human guards to taunt them before making them scatter with laser fire. Then, when Thundercracker blased open some power lines to begin filling his energon cubes, Skywarp "cut in line" by teleporting between Thundercracker and the energy to fill his own cube first. When [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]] showed up to stop them, Skywarp fired a heat-seeking missile at him, only for Prime to deflect it with a punch. When the Decepticons began draining heat energy out of Earth's core using a crystal shaft in the Arctic, Skywarp got a bit bored at the lack of real action. He was in the middle of taunting Rumble when the two of them accidentally caused a miniature avalanche in one of the caves. By sheer happenstance, this led to the Decepticons recovering the long-lost [[Jetfire (G1)|Skyfire]] from an icy tomb. Skywarp helped perform repairs on the giant flier, though it was probably better for all concerned if somebody with actual knowledge had performed these repairs. {{storylink|Fire in the Sky}}

During a battle at [[Great Falls]] hydroelectric power facility, the newly-constructed [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]] arrived to rescue the beleagured Autobots, who had been captured by the Decepticons. Skywarp foolishly attempted to beat the flamethrowing [[Slag (G1)|Slag]] with a mere pair of heat-seeking missiles, and ended up being grabbed out of the air by the mighty jaws of [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]], who chomped on his wing and threw Skywarp into his fellow Megatron loyalist [[Soundwave (G1)|Soundwave]]. {{storylink|S.O.S. Dinobots}} Soon afterwards, during an operation in [[Peru]], Skywarp got to be Megatron's favorite Seeker for the day after Starscream and Thundercracker stole poor-quality steel for their latest super-weapon. Skywarp was in a playful mood during the Decepticons' raid of a solar power plant in [[India]], cracking wise and hoping to play a game of catch...with the rajah as the ball. He had even more fun in a quick free-for-all with the Autobots, a distraction so that the Decepticons could kidnap one of the Autobots' fleshling friends as a guinea pig for [[Doctor Arkeville]]'s mind-control experiments. Skywarp enjoyed himself so much, he got in a fight with Starscream on the way back to headquarters about how ''brilliant'' Megatron's plan was. Thundercracker had to jump out of the way while the two of them roughhoused in the elevator. {{storylink|The Ultimate Doom, Part 1}} Thanks in part to Arkeville's [[hypno-chip]] slaves, the Decepticons were able to bring Cybertron into Earth's orbit, creating massive environmental disturbances that produced millions of energon cubes. What's more, transporting energon to Cybertron was now just a short flight away. Unfortunately, the devastation was greater than Megatron had anticipated. While Skywarp was on a return flight from Cybertron, a tidal wave broke off the access tower to the Decepticons' undersea base, flooding it. {{storylink|The Ultimate Doom, Part 2}} Skywarp was present at the final battle before the Autobots knocked Cybertron out of orbit, and fled when Megatron abandoned his troops to escape with the energon cubes. {{storylink|The Ultimate Doom, Part 3}} With Megatron seemingly destroyed as his star cruiser exploded with the cubes on-board, the Decepticons were left rudderless. While working on repairs for their undersea base, tempers flared as Skywarp picked a fight with his favorite target, Rumble, and his pint-sized partner, [[Frenzy (G1)|Frenzy]]. Skywarp bit off more than he could chew, however, as Frenzy's surprising strength overcame Skywarp as he tried to crush the mini-cassette beneath his heel. After they used the opportunity to kidnap [[Gears (G1)|Gears]] for his special circuit board, Skywarp later helped fill the energon cubes from Megatron's [[Solar Needle]]. {{storylink|Changing Gears}} As the Decepticons took over New York to create the city of New Cybertron, Skywarp was seen loading cars into [[Mixmaster (G1)|Mixmaster]]'s drum for reconstruction. He and Thundercracker were later damaged after trying to take some potshots at Optimus Prime, only to miss and crash straight through a building in the process. {{storylink|City of Steel}} He also served in a later assault on the Ark, distracting the Autobots long enough for Megatron to sneak inside and mess with their [[recharging chamber]]s. {{storylink|Attack of the Autobots}}

Rather stoic in recent weeks, Skywarp was back to his cheery but malicious self when he and Starscream went after some [[electro-cell]]s at the [[Experimental Energy Research Laboratory]]. While breaking through the roof of the installation, Skywarp merrily remarked on the joy of opening presents. During a fight with the Autobot named [[Mirage (G1)|Mirage]], one of Skywarp's insignia was ripped off, and later planted to help turn the [[Insecticon (G1)|Insecticon]]s against the Decepticons. {{storylink|Traitor}} During a battle with the Autobots over the [[Wheeljack Instant Immobilizer|Immobilizer]], Skywarp unleashed his new toy: a [[bouncer bomb]]. This weapon ricocheted through the trees, explosively bouncing from one side of the battlefield to another. Unfortunately, the Decepticons were also subject to its "friendly fire" until Megatron shot the blasted thing down. {{storylink|The Immobilizer}}

Skywarp's teleportation power did come in useful when he was needed to sneak up on the Autobots with the [[Transfixatron]]. One quick zap and they were all frozen in vehicle mode. However, he failed to zap ALL the Autobots, which ultimately led to the undoing of Megatron's scheme. {{storylink|The Autobot Run}} Skywarp was present during the Decepticon alliance with [[Sub-Atlantica]], and was part of their attack on Washington D.C. He and Thundercracker strafed the Autobots while in battle on the Great Lawn. {{storylink|Atlantis, Arise!}} When the Decepticons stole the ninja robot [[Nightbird (G1)|Nightbird]], Skywarp used his grapples to pull the roof off of the demonstration ampitheater, allowing Starscream and Thundercracker to swoop in and grab the robot. {{storylink|Enter the Nightbird}}

Skywarp and his flying buddies once attempted to triple-team Optimus Prime in battle, but failed to do more than provide Optimus with a chance to toss a good quip. Strangely, Skywarp was later seen throwing what looking like a standard pineapple grenade at the Autobots. It was effective enough, but looked as out of place as an AK or a tommygun in Transformer hands. {{storylink|A Prime Problem}} When the Decepticons made yet another attempt at harnessing some sort of power from the Earth's core, Skywarp defended their drilling operation from the Autobots. He and the Seekers attempted to bomb the Autobots from the air, but a scattering of explosive missiles from [[Bluestreak]]'s shoulder launchers took them out of the fight. {{storylink|The Core}}

During the assault on Iron Mountain, Skywarp was briefly taken over by [[Bombshell (G1)|Bombshell]]'s [[cerebro-shell]]s during a tiff between Megatron and the Insecticons. {{storylink|The Insecticon Syndrome}} He also joined the Decepticon expedition to [[Dinobot Island (G1)|Dinobot Island]], to loot and plunder its various sources of energy. Skywarp was eager to do battle with the Dinobots when they arrived to defend their new home...which just goes to show Skywarp's kinda stupid. {{storylink|Dinobot Island, Part 1}} When the Autobots eventually arrived to help drive the Decepticons off of Dinobot Island, they were aided by a band of dinosaurs themselves, prodded onwards by [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]]. Skywarp and Thundercracker found their lasers ineffective against the charging brutes, and were forced to retreat with the rest of their army. {{storylink|Dinobot Island, Part 2}}

During some aerial dogfighting with the Autobot ace, [[Powerglide (G1)|Powerglide]], Skywarp took a nasty hit to the wing. He must have managed to limp back to base, because he was present for Megatron's interrogation of the Constructicons a short while later. {{storylink|The Master Builders}} When the Decepticons went after [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]]'s latest super-weapon, the [[Negavator]], Skywarp and the Seekers strafed the Autobot convoy in a box canyon. Their efforts were blocked by [[Smokescreen (G1)|Smokescreen]]'s disruptor beams and magnetic smoke, which left the Seekers unable to see or navigate in any way. Skywarp and [[Thrust (G1)|Thrust]] ended up in a three-way collision with each other and a canyon wall. {{storylink|Auto Berserk}} Once, the Decepticons were pre-emptively celebrating the destruction of the Autobots after Megatron acquired the [[Heart of Cybertron]]. They got over-energized on energon cubes and passed out in the desert. Five'll get you ten, whoever passed out closest to Skywarp woke up with a [[Scraplet]] drawn on their face in permanent marker. {{storylink|Microbots}}

Skywarp was a participant in the ultimate prank against the Autobots. Using Autobot costumes left over from last Halloween, Skywarp and some others raided an oil refinery for fuel, only to be driven off when the "heroic" Decepticons arrived to stop the "evil" Autobots. The entire scene was filmed by [[Shawn Berger]] and used to smear the Autobots' good name so severely that they were forced to abandon Earth entirely in a rocket cruiser. Ha HA! {{storylink|Megatron's Master Plan, Part 1}} The fleshlings didn't appreciate the joke when they found out the punchline, but Skywarp and the Decepticons were too busy enslaving [[Central City (G1)|Central City]] to care. As bad luck would have it, though, the Autobots managed to make their way back to Earth, and drive off the Decepticon occupation. Killjoys. {{storylink|Megatron's Master Plan, Part 2}}

When the Decepticons set up a temporary base of operations at the airport, Optimus Prime sent in the Dinobots to clear them out. Skywarp and the other jets were caught off-guard initially, but the Decepticons had learned from previous encounters that the Dinobots were more vulnerable in their robot modes. By feigning defeat, Skywarp and the others lured the Dinobots into a false sense of security, and they transformed back to robot mode. Skywarp and Megatron then unleashed a barrage of energy, igniting the jumbo jets on the tarmac and causing the Dinobots tremendous damage. The Decepticons finally scored a decent victory against the Dinos, and they owed it all to a dirty underhanded sneak attack. It was a good day to be Skywarp. {{storylink|Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1}}

Like most of the Decepticons, Skywarp was rendered temporarily invulnerable due to exposure to [[electrum]]. Invincibility didn't make him any better a prison guard, though, as even [[Beachcomber (G1)|Beachcomber]] was able to overpower him and escape from the Decepticons' undersea headquarters. {{storylink|The Golden Lagoon}} Skywarp was seen delivering the Insecticons' share of the energon harvested from their clones using Megatron's energon transference process. Since the meager three cubes the Insecticons got were a small pittance compared to how many were actually being generated, Skywarp was surely snickering to himself as he handed them over. {{storylink|Quest for Survival}} When the Space Bridge materialized in the middle of a baseball stadium, Skywarp and Soundwave got into a friendly game of catch...with flesh-creatures as the ball. Then the Autobots had to show up and ruin their fun. {{storylink|Child's Play (episode)|Child's Play}}

Later on, Skywarp and the Seekers kidnapped a group of Earth's world leaders, but ran into the [[Aerialbot (G1)|Aerialbot]]s during their getaway. Skywarp nearly nailed [[Slingshot]] with a loop-the-loop, coming down on him from above, but was shot down by [[Skydive (G1 Aerialbot)|Skydive]]. {{storylink|War Dawn}} One day, Skywarp and Thundercracker were guarding the Space Bridge when Starscream arrived. After showing them his authorization (which looked suspiciously like a null ray rifle), they allowed Starscream to travel to Cybertron. {{storylink|Starscream's Brigade}} At Megatron's command, Skywarp travelled to [[Combaticon (G1)|Combaticon]] headquarters to check up on their progress in the latest Decepticon scheme. At Megatron's command, Skywarp landed at the empty base. At Megatron's command, he began to follow the mysterious trail of loose Combaticon parts leading out of the canyon. You gotta wonder what Skywarp is capable of without constant supervision...{{storylink|B.O.T. (episode)|B.O.T.}}

In 2005, Skywarp was part of a massive [[Battle of Autobot City|Decepticon attack]] on [[Autobot City]] on Earth. He was badly damaged during the battle, but managed to escape with the rest of his comrades aboard [[Astrotrain (G1)|Astrotrain]]. However, en route to Cybertron he was tossed out into space with other badly damaged Decepticons so that the rest would be able to make it home. Skywarp's body was gathered by [[Unicron]] and, among others, used to make [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]]'s new warriors. {{storylink|The Transformers: The Movie}}

After the Decepticons lost the Great War and [[Maximal|Maximals]] and [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]] claimed [[Cybertron (planet)|the planet]], [[Megatron (BW)|another Megatron]] subjugated nearly every Transformer alive with a transformation-lock virus and an army of [[Vehicon (BM)|Vehicons]]. Skywarp was one of the handful of Transformers who had slipped through Megatron's fingers, and eventually he and [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] joined up with the legendary strike team, the [[Wrecker|Wreckers]]. Given a mission by the [[Oracle (BM)|Oracle]], the Wreckers fought through an army of Vehicons (Cyclonus, Skywarp, and [[Rotorbolt (Universe)|Rotorbolt]] took care of the [[Spy Streak]] drones) to steal an Autobot shuttle in order to get off-planet. {{storylink|Departure}}

Skywarp served as the shuttle's pilot, which served as a point of contention when the bounty hunter [[Devcon (G1)|Devcon]] stowed away on board, who didn't like that the Wreckers apparently now included Decepticons and Predacons among their ranks. As the shuttle approached the [[Archa system]], their given destination, Skywarp detected the homing beacon of the ''[[Sojourner's Passage]]'', an exploration ship that was lost centuries ago. Since the Autobot shuttle had been damaged en route, once it had landed on [[Archa Nine]], Skywarp helped repair it while others searched the surface. While Skywarp was occupied with this, Cyclonus revealed himself as a traitor, stealing the [[Divine Light]], a mysterious artifact the Wreckers were sent by the Oracle to find. {{storylink|Betrayal}}

Though it's likely Skywarp didn't really care, the rest of the Wreckers were dealt a blow to morale after this betrayal. Regardless, the Wreckers set off for a new destination given by the Oracle, a desolate ice planet on which a search team found an exiled [[Quintesson]] scientist named [[Al-Badur]]. While Al-Badur was explaining the meaning of the Divine Light, an army of [[Sharkticon (G1)|Sharkticons]] attacked both the search team and Skywarp and the others back at the shuttle. Skywarp was able to easily destroy their attackers. The search team returned to the shuttle, and Primal Prime told Skywarp that he'd be taking direction from the Quintesson. Al-Badur asked Skywarp what compelled him to join this team of Autobots and Maximals; Skywarp told him it involved "returning a favor" and "Decepticon honor," things he wouldn't understand. {{storylink|Disclosure}}

In the aftermath of Cyclonus's betrayal, the other Wreckers were understandably wary of Skywarp, though the Decepticon claimed he had no part or knowledge of his fellow Decepticon's actions. While circling overhead Cybertron, the Wreckers' shuttle was critically hit. Rodimus told everyone else to evacuate while he kept the ship level, but Skywarp chose this moment to strike. He knocked Rodimus away and told [[Tap-Out (G1)|Tap-Out]] to help everyone else disembark; the Decepticon was going to guide the shuttle down. When it landed, taking out a large portion of the Sharkticon invading forces in a fantastic explosion, the Wreckers were shocked. Skywarp had sacrificed his life for them? As Rodimus began to give a regretful eulogy for the untrusted Decepticon, Skywarp appeared behind them, laughing about his sweet maneuver. He had, of course, used his warping power to leave the ship at the last moment. "Did you see that? I think I managed to shove the forward nacelle antennae right through the Quint Overseer!" Everyone grumbled.

As their group joined the battle against Cryotek and Cyclonus within Cybertron, it seemed Skywarp may not have been so forthright after all. He violently silenced the overbearing Ramulus (muttering that he was surprised no one thanked him) and took his place at Cyclonus's side. Rodimus was understandably confused and hurt, but Skywarp told the Autobot that he'd more than paid him back recently and he no longer owed the Wreckers anything. Cyclonus laughed, and told the Wreckers of his mental link to Skywarp. But Skywarp muttered, having "always ''hated'' that," and attacked Cyclonus. He reappeared at the Wreckers' side again, noting that he'd only harmed Ramulus to get in Cyclonus' good graces long enough to deal the blow.

But Cyclonus had scores of Sharkticons at his disposal, and they quickly filled the chamber. Rodimus wanted to throttle Skywarp for what he'd done to Ramulus, but Skywarp shrewdly pointed out that they had bigger problems at the moment. But in the middle of the battle, a strange surge of energy passed through the subterranean chamber, flowing through Tap-Out and Skywarp, causing both to disappear in a flash of light. {{storylink|Wreckers: Finale Part II}}

Skywarp and Tap-Out had been abducted by Unicron and, under undisclosed circumstances, Skywarp joined [[Razorclaw (Universe)|Razorclaw]]'s [[Minions of Unicron]] during the [[Universe war|Universe conflict]]. In the early days of the war, Skywarp and [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]] were sent to blow up a building full of pesky [[neutral]]s in [[Altihex]]. He took a second to wonder if it was the right thing to do—not because it was morally wrong or anything, but because it was ''too easy''. Thundercracker didn't have much input, so Skywarp just went "Sure, why not," and murdered the neutrals. {{storylink|The War Within issue 1}} Some time later, the two came with [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] when he tried to sway [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]] into joining the Decepticons. Skywarp tried to stop Starscream from spilling the beans about the Seekers' next mission at [[Sector Zero-Six]], but was told to shut up. When the trio later carried out said mission, they found that Grimlock had evacuated the area and placed a bomb to welcome them. Following the sudden disappearance of Megatron, the Decepticons split into several splinter groups, but Skywarp stayed with the main faction under the command of [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]]. He participated in an attack on the minions of [[The Fallen]] in [[Protihex]], where his teleporting power enabled him to get the best of [[Bludgeon (G1)|Bludgeon]] and gun him down. {{storylink|Conflagration}}

Skywarp was one of several Decepticon invaders on board the ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]'' when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while the Autobot ship was clearing an asteroid in the path of Cybertron.

In 2002, he was one of the Transformers who survived the disastrous launch of the sabotaged ''[[Ark II]]'' and were later captured and reprogrammed by arms dealer [[Lazarus|Adam "Lazarus" Rook]], who intended to rent out the services of the enslaved robots to various terrorist groups. After Megatron reactivated himself, he freed his Decepticon subordinates in order to put forward his plans to infect Earth with a metallic virus of doom. To pass the time while this happened, Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp busied themselves by tearing apart the Autobot Minicar team. {{storylink|Prime Directive issue 3}}

Skywarp presumably stood watch over the defeated Autobots while Megatron tried to persuade [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] to help the Decepticons conquer Earth. After some human firefighters distracted the Decepticons long enough for Optimus Prime to free the Autobots, Skywarp was presumably beaten up and escaped when Superion sacrificed himself to stop a nuclear missile launched by rogue US General [[Robert Hallo]].

''When Megatron was kidnapped by the [[Keeper (species)|Keepers]] and Decepticon leadership was up for grabs, Skywarp began acting more serious and ambitious than his regular "lunatic prankster" persona would suggest. One of the few Decepticons who aggressively refused to follow Starscream in Megatron's absence, Skywarp teamed up with the [[Reflector (G1)|Reflector]] trio in an attempt to seize power for himself. He lured Starscream into leaving his new kingdom in [[Las Vegas]] and travelling to Hoover Dam. Once there, Skywarp challenged Starscream directly for leadership of the Decepticons. When Shockwave arrived on Earth with his new army, he quickly disposed of Megatron and demanded loyalty from Skywarp and the others. Somewhat begrudgingly, they assented and accompanied him back to Cybertron. On Earth, Skywarp was part of Starscream's initial salvo against the Ark, a decoy to be deliberately taken prisoner in order to draw out the remaining Autobots where the newly reformatted [[Combaticon (G1)|Combaticons]] could get at them. {{storylink|Night of the Combaticons}} After decimating the Autobots' ranks, [[Bruticus (G1)|Bruticus]] freed the fallen Decepticons, and they were about ready to terminate their opponents when the awe-inspiring clone known as [[Sunstorm (G1)|Sunstorm]] emerged from fold-space, looking to have words with Starscream. In the modern era, Skywarp is part of a Decepticon infiltration unit that has operated covertly on [[Earth]] for at least four years, working to destabilize Earth's governing organizations and create global anarchy. {{storylink|Infiltration issue 3}} His alternate form is an [[wikipedia:F-22_Raptor|F-22 Raptor]] fighter jet, and his main job seems to be using his teleporting powers to transport his comrades to places.

Starscream assigned him and [[Blitzwing (G1)|Blitzwing]] to destroy all traces of the [[Nebraska]] operation, but after demolishing the abandoned Nebraska command bunker, he was severely damaged by Megatron, who, unfortunately for Skywarp, had been inside at the time. {{storylink|Infiltration issue 5}} Megatron was apparently not one to hold grudges, and he soon had Skywarp repaired and functioning again.

The Decepticons took up temporary residence in an [[array]] structure in [[Latveria]]. There, Megatron activated the [[Psycho-Prism]] he had stolen from [[Doctor Doom]]. The Psycho-Prism emitted an aggression wave that acted on humans, increasing international tensions in the area. Megatron sent Thundercracker an Skywarp to bomb the neighboring country of [[Symkaria]] so they would blame Latveria and start a war. After their return the Decepticon array was being besieged by Autobots and [[Avengers]]. Along with the other Decepticons (except [[Ramjet (G1)|Ramjet]]), Skywarp powered-up with the captured [[Spider-Man]]'s super powers as part of [[mirror response mode]]. {{storylink|Man and Machine, Part Two}}

Skywarp warped outside to join Thundercraker, Runabout, and Runamuck in the battle with Autobots and Avengers. He shot at [[Ms. Marvel]] and The [[Falcon (superhero)|Falcon]] and was chased by the [[Quinjet]] before getting swatted out of the air by [[Iron Man]] in Transformer-sized armor. {{storylink|Man and Machine, Part Three}} He laid there until Megatron called for a retreat via [[emergency warp-out]]. {{storylink|Man and Machine, Part Four}}

Megatron called a meeting to make sure it was perfectly understood there would be no second chances when it comes to insubordination. {{storylink|Escalation issue 1}} While on a mission to destabilize Middle Eastern energy supplies, Skywarp confessed to Thundercracker that he believed Megatron had it in for all of them, especially himself, though his fellow Decepticon pointed out the fact that Megatron did have him repaired. {{storylink|Escalation issue 2}} Skywarp participated in the operation at [[Brasnya]] where he injured [[Hot Rod (G1)|Hot Rod]] and evacuated Megatron before the Autobots could destroy him. {{storylink|Escalation issue 6}}

When [[Ramjet (G1)|Ramjet]] began his coup, he first contacted Skywarp in an effort to get a viable ally. Skywarp thought it was a big load of crap, but said that if Ramjet could get some results in one day, they'd talk. However, Skywarp did mention that he always "bets on the leader." Skywarp was among the concerned Decepticons who feared that Megatron had lost all sense of reason when he deployed [[Sixshot]] on Earth. They conspired to bring Starscream back into the fold to talk some sense into their leader. {{storylink|Devastation issue 1}} Emboldened by Starscream's lone stand against the Reapers, the Decepticons attacked and eventually the alien invaders, with Skywarp participating in the destruction of their starship. {{storylink|Devastation issue 6}}

About a year later, Megatron had somehow regained Skywarp's confidence, and Skywarp assured Thundercracker that Megatron knew what he was doing when he created [[Insecticon swarm|three thousand twisted perversions of their own race]]. The Decepticons later lured Optimus Prime and his troops into a trap and utterly crushed them, with Skywarp ripping [[Sideswipe (G1)|Sideswipe]]'s arm clean off. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 7}} They proceeded to conquer [[New York City]]. During that attack, Skywarp got to make stuff go boom and kill a lotta folks, and it was the best day out ever. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 1}}

After taking out several military helicopters, Skywarp was assigned to accompany Soundwave, Hook and Astrotrain as they took Frenzy to deal with a large ground force. [[Hook (G1)|Hook]] voiced his doubt that the tiny Decepticon had a chance against such a huge number of enemies, but Skywarp, enjoying a chance for a dig at the new guy, simply told him to make sure he kept his distance. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 2}} All the fun of smashing things and killing millions of people soon soured though, as Skywarp started clashing with the [[Insecticon (G1)|uppity Insecticons]] and getting lonely now Thundercracker was being mopey and Starscream wasn't around much. When the Autobots eventually returned to Earth, Skywarp battled them in the ruins of New York City. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 11}} He grabbed [[Kup (G1)|Kup]] and took to the sky, asking the old timer why he wasn't [[Spotlight: Kup|insane]] anymore. Kup responded by calling Skywarp a "mouthy punk" and shooting him in the gut, causing him to to drop the Autobot. The Decepticons fled when Megatron was defeated, but Skywarp came back when he noticed that Thundercracker had diverted the nuke that Megatron had arranged to be dropped on New York. Furious at his fellow Seeker's betrayal, he ignored Thundercracker's arguments and shot him point blank in the face. {{storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 12}}

Skywarp was among the Decepticons left behind when the others fled Earth. Unlike [[Swindle (G1)|some]], however, he was in no rush to get off the planet; instead he came up with the idea to steal and stockpile human weapons for Megatron's eventual return. He attacked the technology corporations [[Dynomic]] and [[Allodyne Logic Systems]] for information on their advanced technology, which in turn attacted the attention of [[Skywatch]]. Some two years after the Decepticons' defeat in New York, Skywarp had filled at least one whole garage with missiles and bombs. {{storylink|The Hanging Sword}} In addition to his vast collection of anti-human weapons, he also worked to create a weapon capable of crippling all the Autobots on the planet. Skywarp beamed signals into space in order to report his progress to Megatron, who he really hoped would be back soon. {{storylink|The Impossible Knot}}

While the Autobots worked on finding a way to disable the kill-switch badges that the rogue Skywatch Colonel [[Gordon Horiuchi]] had provided them, Skywarp attacked Skywatch's Phillips base to gain access to information to track down the kill-switch control board. Arriving at Skywatch researcher [[Sanjay Bharwaney]]'s home {{storylink|The Gift Horse}}, Skywarp moved in for the kill, but was foiled by the timely intervention of [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]], who saved Bharwaney and his daughter [[Serena Bharwaney|Serena]]. Skywarp chased them into an industrial area, and as he hunted, he ranted about how Megatron would be returning here to take his rightful place as ruler of the galaxy, with Skywarp at his side, and once he had the control board, all the Autobots would fall into line under the Decepticon banner, making Skywarp a hero. Granted a portion of the hyperdimensional powers that his leader had obtained from the monstrous [[Hytherion]], Skywarp was given a new body with an uncharacteristic sports car alternate mode, a [[Timaeus drive]] that granted him the ability to travel through dimensions, and a massively enhanced teleportation power that actually allowed him to warp the fabric of space and time around him. About the only thing that didn't change was his characteristic lack of intelligence and initiative; coupled with the brain-bending complexities of higher-dimensional life and battle, this meant that Skywarp was left still relying on Megatron's specific orders for and when to use his powers.

Skywarp proved his worth when he succeeded in his mission to scour the year 2010 all across the dimensions for a trace of the two-dimensional world of the [[Planicron]]s. '''Cyclonus''' is the exception to that rule. Created by [[Unicron]], Cyclonus is a being whose loyalty to [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] and the Decepticon cause is so intense as to exclude most other emotions and interests from his mind. He is dedicated to destruction in his leader's name.

He also has brains to back up that dedication, power to enforce Galvatron's will, and the initiative to form plans and get them done. Cyclonus could easily rule the Decepticons himself if he so desired, either as a power behind the throne or directly overthrowing his psychotic master. His responses to any suggestions that he do so? "All hail Galvatron!"

The injured and dying Decepticons were chosen to be ejected into the void of space, including the commander, [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], but when their bodies were recovered by the world-eater, [[Unicron]], they were reborn as deadly new warriors in the service of the recreated Megatron, now known as [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]]. Immediately following his creation, Cyclonus served as little more than Galvatron’s personal ship and attack dog, carrying his leader to [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]]'s coronation, into the battle in Autobot City and to the [[Junkion (planet)|planet of Junk]]. By 2006, Galvatron was believed dead and the Decepticons had retreated to the barren world of [[Chaar]]. Although Cyclonus and the Sweeps' Unicronian physiology kept them in relatively good condition, the other Decepticons degenerated quickly in the absence of regular energon. Disgusted with how far the leaderless Decepticons had fallen as they eked out this miserable existence, Cyclonus resolved to locate Galvatron, daring even to enter Unicron’s deactivated, disembodied head. By replaying the planet-eater's memory banks, Cyclonus traced Galvatron to the world of [[Thrull]]. [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]]'s accelerated sight peeled back light-years of space and confirmed their fallen leader's presence. The Decepticons' need for a strong leader was driven home when two Autobots invaded Chaar, and the entire Decepticon army couldn't muster up enough energon or firepower to put up a decent fight. Cyclonus and the Sweeps made their way to Thrull after that to retrieve Galvatron. Unfortunately, once extricated from a pool of the planet’s plasma-lava, Galvatron proved to have been driven insane from exposure to it and brutalized Cyclonus and the [[Sweep|Sweeps]] before being talked down and returned to his position as leader. {{storylink|Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2}} Despite his lunacy, Galvatron was effective enough to destroy an entire space platform for Earth's defense system. As 2006 settled in, Cyclonus was captured by a [[Quintesson]] scientist for study, along with [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], [[Wreck-Gar (G1)|Wreck-Gar]] and [[Marissa Faireborn]], but when the entire group was sucked through a [[black hole]] into a [[negative universe]], they were forced to work together to escape; Cyclonus and Magnus developed a grudging respect for each other as warriors, but vowed that when they met again on the battlefield, it would be as enemies. {{storylink|The Killing Jar}}

Chasing the Autobots through space, Cyclonus and his great leader ran them down on an abandoned funeral barge floating in the void. The Decepticons pursued the Autobots into the vessel, but were taken completely by surprise by the sudden appearance of the dead Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. Galvatron was injured in battle, and Cyclonus had to provide him with support. The loyal lieutenant was willing to fight on against Prime, but when the Sweeps abandoned the barge in fear, Cyclonus was forced to choose the better part of valor and leave as well, carrying Galvatron with him. {{storylink|Dark Awakening}}

Some time later, outnumbered and fleeing from the [[Aerialbot (G1)|Aerialbots]], Cyclonus and Scourge took refuge inside a vortex, which transported them to the pacifistic, energy-rich planet of [[Paradron]], which had been settled by Cybertronian refugees. Naturally, the duo immediately conquered the planet and summoned Galvatron and the other Decepticons there; the plan was ultimately foiled by the Autobots, but at the cost of Paradron itself, which was destroyed. {{storylink|Fight or Flee}}

Cyclonus and Galvatron met up with [[Octane]] in [[Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Carbombya|Carbombya]], where they briefly adapted the local oil into a more powerful form of energon before the Autobots chased them out of the country. {{storylink|Thief in the Night}} After Octane fled the Decepticons and started working as a free trader with the [[Junkion (species)|Junkions]] and even the Autobots, Cyclonus and the Sweeps infiltrated Cybertronian air space to deal with the traitor. They chased him into the abandoned Decepticon mausoleum below the planet's surface. Cyclonus marveled at Scourge's pathetic leadership ability when he couldn't even order ONE Sweep to enter the mausoleum ahead of them. He borrowed half a page from Galvatron's book and only ''threatened'' to kill a Sweep if they didn't get moving. Cyclonus's hunt was interrupted by the arrival of Starscream's ghost, who possessed the Decepticon saboteur for his own ends. On another occasion, Cyclonus clashed with Ultra Magnus aboard the Autobot records asteroid with the fate of [[Daniel Witwicky (G1)|Daniel Witwicky]] in the balance. {{storylink|Surprise Party}}

Sometime later, Starscream's ghost returned and possessed Scourge, causing him to fire wildly. Cyclonus tried to convince Galvatron his fellow warrior was not a traitor, but only malfunctioning. Then Scourge/Starscream shot Galvatron dead center in the chest, and chaos ensued. The Decepticons were a step behind Starscream over the next few hours as he stole one of [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]]'s (invisible) eyes, then Astrotrain, then finally Trypticon himself in a mad scavenger hunt orchestrated by Unicron. Their weapons temporarily neutralized after trying to recover Trypticon, Cyclonus and the Decepticons began limping away from Cybertron when they saw Starscream tumbling uncontrollably through space. Cyclonus rightly questioned how a ghost could tumble uncontrollably ''anywhere'', but Galvatron was just glad his [[particle cannon]] was working again, and he started taking potshots at the flying figure. {{storylink|Ghost in the Machine}}

When Astrotrain reported to Galvatron that the Junkions were shooting at anyone in their airspace, even Autobots, Cyclonus saw opportunity. Although Galvatron couldn't care less about Junkions, Cyclonus investigated further for the good of the Decepticon cause, for the Autobots would lose a valuable ally if the Junkions had indeed turned against them. His personal analysis, however, did nothing to raise Galvatron's interest, only his rage. Cyclonus was alerted to a mysterious Quintesson signal by [[Predaking]]. He and the Sweeps rendezvoused with Predaking at the source, only to find [[Sky Lynx (G1)|Sky Lynx]] and the Autobots competing with them in their pursuit. They managed to recover the Quintesson journal that was the source of the signal, and they learned it had key information that would be beneficial to peace talks the Autobots were overseeing. Cyclonus and the Decepticons tried to stop the Autobots from orchestrating a cease fire between the warring worlds, but failed. {{storylink|The Quintesson Journal}}

Later, Cyclonus was among the Transformers turned into an energy vampire by the [[Trans-Organic]] [[Dweller]], thrown to the beast by Galvatron to delay his own fate—though at least with Cyclonus he hesitated for a moment before fleeing, almost repentant for his action. Hours later, after the Autobots saved him from an eternal unlife as an energy vampire, Cyclonus reconnected with Galvatron. Out of all the Decepticons in history, only Cyclonus could deliver his relief at Galvatron's safety with such genuine feeling and without a trace of sarcasm. {{storylink|The Dweller in the Depths}}

When a group of Decepticons, tired of being beaten and abused by the deranged Galvatron, confronted Cyclonus and demanded that he do something about the situation, Cyclonus was so short on options that he accepted the advice of a Quintesson and tricked Galvatron into accompanying him to the therapeutic mental institution on planet [[Torkulon]]. It pained Cyclonus to see his leader so demented as each attempted therapy met with failure, but when the Torkuli attempted to cure Galvatron by removing the damaged part of his mind, thereby leaving him a vegetable, Cyclonus sprang into action, only to be restrained. Patched into the sentient network of the planet, rather than be cured, Galvatron infected the world itself with his madness and freed himself, decimating the planet, and decided to turn his attention back to fighting the Autobots, rather than dwell on Cyclonus's deception. {{storylink|Webworld}}

While in Europe, Cyclonus and the Decepticons made contact with several human terrorists and unscrupulous mercenaries. They even hired out human mechanics to work on Trypticon and oversee his repairs. Okay, fine. But when Cyclonus ran across [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike]] and [[Daniel Witwicky (G1)|Daniel Witwicky]] wandering around inside Trypticon, shouldn't he have recognized ''them?!'' Apparently, all flesh-creatures DO look alike to the Decepticons. {{storylink|The Ultimate Weapon}}

In a scheme to utilize [[anti-electron]]s against the Autobots, the Decepticons were forced to raid Unicron's head for an additional supply of the substance. Scourge and Cyclonus performed the recovery operation while Galvatron and the [[Terrorcon (G1)|Terrorcons]] kept their Autobot pursuers busy. They had only just returned with the flask, however, when [[Scattershot]] and the new [[Technobot (G1)|Technobots]] arrived, destroying the anti-electrons and routing the Decepticon invaders. {{storylink|Grimlock's New Brain}}

Cyclonus and Soundwave were at Galvatron's side during a heavy battle with the Autobots, along with Trypticon, the Sweeps, and an assortment of Predacons and Terrorcons. The battle was going relatively well until more than half of Galvatron's forces suddenly responded to a mysterious call that only [[Primitive]]s could hear. Enraged at Trypticon and the others for abandoning the field of battle, Galvatron took off after them with Cyclonus and Soundwave in tow. They didn't get far, however, before the energy-absorbing [[Tornedron]] struck them down in the middle of space. Only after the Primitives defeated Tornedron's creator were Cyclonus and the others restored to life. {{storylink|Call of the Primitives}}

Later still, he, along with a group of Autobots and Quintessons, was transported into a region of space cordoned off by the Quintessons, landing on the planet [[Zamojin (planet)|Zamojin]]. There, Cyclonus aided the Quintessons in acquiring [[Perceptor (G1)|Perceptor]]'s [[universal emulator]] in order to repair their systems and return to normal space. He demonstrated a working knowledge of psychology and mob mentality when he prodded the Zamojins into trying to execute their prisoner, the Autobot [[Blurr (G1)|Blurr]]. {{storylink|The Face of the Nijika}}

Cyclonus participated in a major Decepticon attack on Japan. When they were repulsed by the Autobots, he returned to Chaar with Galvatron. The rear guard, [[Stunticon (G1)|Stunticons]] [[Wildrider]] and [[Dead End (G1)|Dead End]], miraculously managed to steal the Matrix of Leadership from an unconscious Rodimus Prime. After Galvatron was unable to unleash its power himself, he tossed the bauble away as if it were nothing. Scourge seized the opportunity to take the Matrix's power for himself and attempted to take over the Decepticons. Cyclonus refused to bow to anyone but Galvatron, and so was blasted down along with his leader. They eventually recovered and traveled to Earth after Scourge and the Decepticon army. They found Scourge shortly after Hot Rod reclaimed the Matrix from him. Galvatron was...not happy. {{storylink|The Burden Hardest to Bear}}

When the [[Hate Plague]] swept the universe, Cyclonus was infected and took leadership of the afflicted Decepticons, hunting down Galvatron, tracking him and a group of Autobots into the depths of Chaar and infecting scientist [[Jessica Morgan]]. {{storylink|The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1}} {{storylink|The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2}}

In 2007, Cyclonus participated in the massive Decepticon attack on Autobot City, which culminated in the theft of the [[Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber|key]] to the [[Plasma Energy Chamber]]. When the chamber was then opened, the energy released blasted the key and a group of Autobots across the galaxy to the planet [[Nebulos]], and Cyclonus and Scourge led a team of Decepticons in pursuit, attacking and capturing several of the Autobots. {{storylink|The Rebirth, Part 1}} To battle them, the remaining Autobots combined with a group of Nebulan rebels into "[[Headmaster (technology)|Headmasters]]" and bested them in combat. Having learned of this fusion of Transformer and Nebulan, the [[Hive (G1)|Hive]], the evil ruling council of Nebulos, approached the Decepticons to repeat the process, but Cyclonus argued them down to taking the heads of only the animal-mode Decepticons, and merely the weapons of the others.

Consequently, Cyclonus became a [[Targetmaster]], as his handgun was converted into an exo-suit for the Hive member [[Nightstick (Cyclonus)|Nightstick]], giving them enhanced targeting abilities and firepower. {{storylink|The Rebirth, Part 2}} Reclaiming the chamber key with their superior powers, the Decepticons headed back to Cybertron aboard the giant robot [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]], where Cyclonus attempted to convince the disgusted Galvatron of the benefits of being bonded to the Nebulans. The Autobots soon arrived back on Cybertron and invaded Scorponok, only to be captured by the Decepticons and almost executed by Cyclonus before being saved by [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike Witwicky]] and [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]]. When the injured Decepticons are transformed by Unicron, two identical Cyclonus robots are simultaneously created—in the foreground, the [[Insecticon (G1)|Insecticon]] [[Bombshell (G1)|Bombshell]], becomes one, while in the background, Decepticon jet [[Skywarp (G1)|Skywarp]] becomes another. The dialogue which accompanies this scene claims that we are seeing "Cyclonus... and his [[Cyclonus's Armada|armada]]." But, clearly, one warrior does not make an armada ([[Armada (cartoon)|at least three are required]]) – the line is, in fact, a carry over from the original script, in which Cyclonus was intended to have multiple identical duplicates, in the same way that Scourge had the Sweeps. However, the idea was apparently abandoned right after this scene—as the group boards the ''[[Revenge (G1)|Revenge]]'' moments later, the second Cyclonus has disappeared and been replaced with a third Sweep. And while the number of Sweeps would fluctuate constantly throughout the film and the rest of the series, Cyclonus was consistently depicted as a unique individual, barring some animation errors in "[[Five Faces of Darkness, Part 5]]" and "[[The Quintesson Journal]]" that depicted multiple Cyclonuses. It was, essentially, as if the armada had never existed in the first place.

After all of this to-ing and fro-ing, the question is left: if there is actually only one Cyclonus, then which robot became him? Bombshell or Skywarp?

Outside of the questionable nature of the armada's actual existence, the question mainly exists due to certain fans' dissatisfaction with the asymmetry of the fates of Skywarp and [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]]. While many fans are happy to simply follow what is shown in the film and take it that Bombshell became Cyclonus, others point their fingers at Skywarp, offering the rationalization that since Thundercracker the blue jet from 1984 became Galvatron's blue spaceship lieutenant, ''it simply should be'' that Skywarp the purple(-accented) jet from 1984 would become Galvatron's purple spaceship lieutenant (the [[cross-sell]] catalogs included with 1986 toys even replaced Thundercracker and Skywarp with Cyclonus and [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] in the Decepticon Jets section). It is not uncommon, however, for fans to then tack on to this rationalization that if Skywarp became Cyclonus, then Bombshell must have become the armada, unhelpfully overlooking the nebulous existence of the armada which caused the whole argument in the first place.

There are any number of other niggly little arguments that can be made for either party, regarding the personalities of the characters or the roles that they had prior to their reconstruction (for example, unlike Cyclonus, Skywarp was not very bright or Bombshell was too self serving to be believable as Cyclonus), but it's all very circular and self-defeating. Then, there are those who feel that it does not matter who became Cyclonus, holding that both candidates were dead at the time, and, ultimately, arguments on the matter seem irrelevant, as Cyclonus never displays any inklings of a past life, whatever life that might have been. This group of people probably sleep better at night.

The only extant written statement on the matter from the time of the movie's production and release comes, originally, from Cyclonus' ''[[Transformers Universe (Marvel comic)|Transformers Universe]]'' bio, which states that he is made from the "parts of dead Decepticons" (note plural), which would be echoed in his much later [[Heroes of Cybertron]] bio and his [[Universe (2008 franchise)|2008 ''Universe'']] bio. However, as noted above, the visuals in the scene as-animated certainly imply that it was one old body per new body, without mixing and matching, and favoring "Bombshell" as the answer because of the blocking of the shot.

The storyboards, however, are fairly unambiguous. They show Bombshell, pre-reformatting, and Cyclonus (with some other robots in the shot), post-reformatting. This may at least offer some insight into the [[authorial intent]]. It's worth noting that this version of the Storyboard omits any reference to Cyclonus' Armada.

For what it's worth in terms of [[Retcon|retroactive canon-making]], [[IDW Publishing|IDW]]'s 20th anniversary adaptation, ''[[Transformers: The Animated Movie]]'', presented the scene precisely as animated in the movie, with Bombshell in the foreground declared as Cyclonus through a caption box, and Skywarp in the background marked as his armada. On the other hand, the lenticular cover to the 20th Anniversary DVD edition places Skywarp and Cyclonus in the same location, and a set of character bios written by Australian fans for the 2003 Madman Entertainment DVD release of the movie—later used on several UK Metrodome DVDs—state with complete unambiguity that Skywarp become Cyclonus. Tangentially, Cyclonus and Skywarp are two separate, concurrently-existing characters in the arguably post-movie setting of the [[Universe (2003 comic)|''Wreckers'']] comics. "[[Wreckers: Finale Part II]]" addressed the issue directly, adhering to the scene as animated by specifically stating that Skywarp had once been Cyclonus's armada, and having Skywarp call Cyclonus a former "bug." Meanwhile, the 2007 Masterpiece Skywarp toy includes an 'Armada Decepticon' sticker, seemingly putting that toy in the "Bombshell was Cyclonus" pile, but Masterpiece Thundercracker comes with the same sticker, only recolored.

However, none of these things, many coming two decades after the fact, are exactly "evidence" for what happened in the film.

Cyclonus took part in many of Galvatron's wacky schemes, including one involving a giant toothy spaceship that ate ''other'' spaceships and stole their energy. When Rodimus Prime infiltrated the ship, Cyclonus, Scourge and Galvatron swiftly ganged up on him. Rodimus, however, was clever enough to trick Galvatron into blasting a hole in the side of the ship, providing him with an escape. As Rodimus left, he dropped off a little "gift" for Cyclonus. Cyclonus and Scourge continued to make token appearances when the new [[Headmaster (technology)|Headmaster]] warriors arrived to dominate the Cybertronian war. Cyclonus fought alongside Galvatron on Cybertron against Optimus Prime, [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]], and the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobot]]s. {{storylink|The Mystery of Planet Master}} Cyclonus seemed rather threatened by the arrival of Galvatron's new lieutenant, [[Sixshot]]. Cyclonus felt discouraged when Galvatron declared all his troops were bumbling incompetents, without making a special exception for Cyclonus. {{storylink|The Four-Million-Year-Old Veil of Mystery}} Later, when Sixshot attempted to extort energy from six countries using each of his six modes, Scourge and Cyclonus completely botched his scheme when they failed to realize that he was behind it and attacked him with [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]]. {{storylink|Terror! The Six Shadows}} After Galvatron vanished during Cybertron's destruction, and the unfamiliar [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]] took over as Emperor of Destruction, Cyclonus and Scourge felt even less secure in their positions. When [[Soundblaster (G1)|Soundblaster]] proudly sucked up to Scorponok, reporting on a new energy-absorbing satellite named [[Solar 1]] set for launch, Cyclonus vowed to steal the satellite in order to gain favor in Scorponok's eyes. Scourge and Cyclonus were concerned that Scorponok's latest series of attacks on Earth were more likely to destroy the planet than allow the Decepticons to gather energy. Later, Cyclonus and Scourge made arrangements for Scorponok's official society debut as leader of the Decepticons. The Autobots attacked during the proceedings on Earth's [[Moon (moon)|moon]], but all combatants were interrupted by the triumphant return of Galvatron. Cyclonus and Scourge traveled with Scorponok and several other Decepticons to the peaceful planet [[Nebulos]] in pursuit of [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]]'s Autobots. {{storylink|Broken Glass!}} After Scorponok and the [[Terrorcon (G1)|Terrorcons]] were defeated by the new Autobot [[Targetmaster]]s, the Nebulan [[Vorath]] attempted to duplicate the technology on the Decepticons. Cyclonus was partnered with [[Nightstick (Cyclonus)|Nightstick]], a Nebulan recruit who had been bio-mechanically engineered to be able to transform into his weapon. Cyclonus was soon presented with an opportunity to test his new Targetmaster abilities when some Autobot Headmaster prisoners escaped. The fury of the battle destroyed the city of [[Koraja]], culminating in Fortress Maximus knocking down Cyclonus and the other Decepticon Targetmasters with part of a beloved fountain. In an alternate future of 2006, Cyclonus was on the Decepticon planet [[Chaar]] when [[Astrotrain (G1)|Astrotrain]] arrived and gave a report to [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] about the [[Junkion (species)|Junkions]] being hypnotized by a television. Galvatron angrily declared he didn't care anything about the news. Cyclonus pleaded with him to reconsider how the information could be used against the Autobots, but Galvatron would not change his mind. On his own initiative, Cyclonus took [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] along to investigate and discovered the [[Quintesson]]s were involved.

Back on Chaar, a hypnotized Galvatron suddenly took off without telling Cyclonus where he was going, so Cyclonus and Scourge followed him to [[Junkion (planet)|Junkion]]. They were soon met there by a group of Autobots where they engaged them in battle. When the Autobots succeeded in disrupting the Quintessons' hypnosis signal the Junkions added their strength to the Autobots' which caused Galvatron to retreat so fast he nearly left Cyclonus behind. An alternate version of Cyclonus later made a brief appearance, inhabiting an alternate future world of 2009 where Cybertron had been destroyed and Galvatron ruled Earth. In this future world, Cyclonus failed to stop an Autobot/human rebel invasion of the main Decepticon base, and was destroyed by an enraged Galvatron for his failure. {{storylink|Rhythms of Darkness!}}

Cyclonus worked for [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] during the 1980s. {{storylink|Galvatron's Air Attack}} Later, he rose to leadership of the Decepticons at a time when the war was entrenched on [[Nebulos]]. Now a very evil and gloat-happy chap, he matched wits against [[Hot Rod (G1)|Hot Rod]], his opposite number in the Autobots. His schemes included trying to absorb a burst of cosmic radiation, unconcerned that it could kill the rest of the planet, {{storylink|Decepticons at the Pole}} and a substantially less evil plot of trying to stop the Autobots lubricating their joints. {{storylink|Autobots Strike Oil}}

At some point, the Decepticon base [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]] became a sentient Transformer and leader of the Decepticons, and Cyclonus was ''never seen again''...

Cyclonus grew increasingly discontent with Galvatron after the Decepticon leader took to talking to [[Ratbat (G1)|Ratbat]] more than him, and began openly discussing mutiny with [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]]. He was sent out on a mission to locate a new [[Energon (fuel)|Energon]] source which had been detected on an asteroid, and found that the source was a strange [[Observer|small alien]]. Following more abuse heaped on him by Galvatron, Cyclonus was able to study the creature, and discovered that it regurgitated its food in the form of Energon. Galvatron was pleased, but while Ratbat was out searching for more of the creatures, an Autobot was detected spying on the Decepticons, and the situation soon escalated into a pitched battle. {{storylink|The Test (issue)|The Test}}

Along with [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]] and [[Octane]], Cyclonus intercepted [[Cosmos (G1)|Cosmos]], as the Autobot was heading for [[Andellor]]. Though Cyclonus initially disbelieved Cosmos's story, he insisted that Cosmos lead them to his destination. It was there that Cyclonus was able to recall the history of Andellor and the existence of the [[Prism of Power]]. Down on the planet, the three Decepticons ventured into a cave and were attacked, first by some tentacles from a pool, and finally by [[Ironhide (G1)|Ironhide]], who defeated them. {{storylink|Transformers in 3-D issue 2|Transformers in 3-D #2}}

Cyclonus took part in the attack on [[Tau-Ursa]] which saw Galvatron acquire a component for his latest weapon. Galvatron ordered the city destroyed. Cyclonus subsequently took part in a diversionary attack led by [[Sixshot]] while Galvatron used his new weapon, the [[Nullification Cannon]], to destroy Cybertron's Energon stocks. The Autobots began searching for the planet [[Metascan Alpha]], location of a vast store of energy, and Cyclonus took the [[Terrorcon (G1)|Terrorcon]]s to find them, eventually encountering [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] on a desolate moon. The Autobots quickly retreated, preferring to concentrate on their goal, but inadvertently ended up leading the [[Destructon]]s to the moon. Cyclonus and the Terrorcons were outmatched against this new foe, and Cyclonus reluctantly agreed to cooperate with the Autobots against the Destructons. {{storylink|The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3}}

When [[Bombshell (G1)|Bombshell]] was reformatted by [[Unicron]] into Cyclonus, and [[Skywarp (G1)|Skywarp]] into [[Cyclonus's Armada]], Cyclonus was given a mental link to his Armada that gave him control over him. This link persisted even when Skywarp's personality resurfaced years later. When [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] failed the Decepticons and the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]] ended, Cyclonus turned his allegiance towards the gangster [[Cryotek (RID)|Cryotek]]. {{storylink|Wreckers: Finale Part II}}

Centuries later, Cyclonus was caught up in the Predacon [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]]'s attack on all Cybertron. Despite Megatron's attempts to implant his spark within a [[Vehicon (BM)|Vehicon]] body, Cyclonus retained his own mind and managed to escape. Wishing to restore the glorious Decepticon empire, Cyclonus had already been seduced by [[Cryotek (RID)|Cryotek]]'s ambitions when he, alongside other renegade "bad guys" Skywarp and [[Rotorbolt (Universe)|Rotorbolt]], joined the [[Wrecker|Wreckers]]. In the aftermath of Megatron's [[Transformation lock virus]], the Wreckers and a few other small groups were the only Transformers left active on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]].

Soon, the legendary entity called the [[Oracle (BM)|Oracle]] gathered these groups together and gave them each a task. The Wreckers were summoned to a far-off planet, and so the team fought their way through scores of Vehicons to secure a shuttle. Cyclonus and Skywarp's arrival helped seal the Wreckers' victory, and the group managed to leave Cybertron towards their destination. {{storylink|Departure}}

After some difficulties with [[Devcon (G1)|Devcon]], a stowaway, Cyclonus and the other Wreckers landed on [[Archa Nine]], where they learned of a mysterious energy-generating crystal named the "[[Divine Light]]". Cyclonus killed the [[Maximal]] [[Packrat]], nearly killed Rotorbolt, and stole the Divine Light, and after taunting his deceived "comrades," fled home to deliver the artifact to his true master, Cryotek. {{storylink|Betrayal}}

As Cryotek siphoned the power of [[Primus]] by using the Divine Light, his ascension to borrowed godhood was guarded by Cyclonus. At first, Cyclonus seemed to have the upper hand when he appeared to be able to command Skywarp, who had been rebuilt as [[Cyclonus's Armada|his armada]] during the Great War. He has a fierce love of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] and wants to see it bring about an ordered universe, bringing structure to a chaotic universe. Ironically he's absolutely ''mental'', prone to unpredictable, violent actions; he tries to submerge this behind a fiction of being an ordered intellectual, and hopes ordering the universe might order him.

Pissed off, he decided to take his anger out on the nearest Transformer and so assaulted the ''[[Ark-12]]'', helmed by [[Hound (G1)|Hound]]'s crew en route to [[Garrus-9]]. He was blown to bits, only to reform and keep on coming until [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] arrived and Cyclonus realized he was blowing his mission—too long outside of the Dead Universe can kill its inhabitants.

Arriving on [[Corata-Vaz]], he armed the Nega-Core but balked at activating Thunderwing, due to the destruction he caused Cybertron. Unfortunately Hound's crew and Magnus arrived, and [[Sideswipe (G1)|Sideswipe]] goaded Cyclonus into attacking and in the process made Cyclonus realize he truly was a chaotic loony and just what Nemesis Prime wanted to erase. He was brought down, only to detach his hand, which flew off to activate Thunderwing. Cyclonus made it back to the Dead Universe on time and was later patrolling the Benzuli Expanse with [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] to look for those who would disturb the [[Expansion]].
