Having decided that [[Optimus Prime (SG)|Optimus Prime]]'s ''[[Ark (SG)|Ark]]'' posed too great a threat to the galaxy, the [[Decepticon]]s resolved to destroy it. Once [[Razorclaw (SG)|Razorclaw]] and [[Rampage (SG)|Rampage]] had taken out the hapless guards and [[Starscream (SG)|Starscream]]'s team had dropped their [[glass gas]] bombs, [[Megatron (SG)|Megatron]] gave the order to attack the Autobots, and Laserbeak was among the troops that answered his call. *Laserbeak and [[Buzzsaw (SG)|Buzzsaw]] presumably derived their [[Earth]] condor modes from the same transmissions as [[Razorclaw (SG)|Razorclaw]], [[Rampage (SG)|Rampage]] and [[Divebomb (SG)|Divebomb]], though why they would choose such a form as their [[Robot mode|primary mode]] remains a mystery.
* It is entirely possible that Laserbeak is actually using [[Ramhorn (G1)|Ramhorn]]'s colors.
* In "Shattered Expectations", Laserbeak's body is based on ''[[Energon (franchise)|Energon]]'' [[Divebomb (Energon)|Divebomb]] (a body also used to make "[[Dawn of Future's Past]]" [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]]), with the colors of ''[[Armada (franchise)|Armada]]'' [[Laserbeak (Armada)|Laserbeak]].
*In the Recordicons comics, Laserbeak is portrayed as a "hipster" claiming his music is too obscure for Ravage to have known about. It turns out that Ravage is quite good friends with Rosanna, she even follows his Yatter feed. Dismayed, Laserbeak vows to only enjoy her music ironically from now on.
