Judging by how often people keep putting the Power Rangers thing back in... I think we should protect this page. --NCZ 08:49, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
:Or possibly put it in ourselves, written in a proper manner. We definitely need to ask if this was intentional. This exact group of animals is a little odd, making it less likely to be coincidental. --Khajidha 08:57, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
::Perhaps, but my problem is the revert war that's going on. People could at least explain themselves. (The original note, I will say, wasn't that bad.) --NCZ 09:04, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
:::Ask Eire, he removed it after Apoc had put it on the original page. The one I reverted later was horrendous. --Khajidha 09:10, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
::::It might be notable, but sadly the Wikipedia page it links to makes it incredibly hard to verify the info. If there was a source with images of these dinosaur Zords and their conbined form, it might help deciding on this, though. --Detour 09:53, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
MaxOhJa = Grimstone Robot Mode: http://www.supersentai.com/database/2003_abaranger/br-maxohja.html <br>
MaxRyuuOh = Combined Robot Mode: http://www.supersentai.com/database/2003_abaranger/br-maxryuuoh.html 80.137.202.232 10:34, 24 September, 2010
: I would ask how it is relevant beyond coincidence. User:Eire 19.51 24 Sep 2010 (GMT)
::I deny any relevance for the beast modes. Some of them are used in both groups because these are well-known prehistoric animal types.--Thylacine 2000 14:55, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
:::Yeah, they're well known, BUT they are rarely encountered in that exact grouping. You much more often see groups that resemble the original Dinobots in composition. Most of the species used here are rarely encountered in merchandise unless the line includes dozens of species. --Khajidha 15:01, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
::::Yes, but one, the Abaranger/Dino Thunder line was FULL of different genera. The white ranger/Abarekiller had a Tupuxara of all things, and two, I still don't see how its relevant. Are we going to go through a lot of articles, pointing out every single coincidence of this type? The reason they were chosen is almost certainly because they have distinct profiles, and below the standard Dinobots, these are probably the most well known Mesozoic/Palaeozoic animals, if you don't do a plesiosaur or icthyosaur. I just don't see how a result of really public awareness is particularly noteworthy.User:Eire 20.09 24 Sep 2010 (GMT)
::::: I think it's an interesting enough coincidence to be noted. There were plenty of other dinosaurs that could have been used, but this exact set? It's unusual. Antimatter 18:01, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
::::::But that's just it. It's not. Once you drop the Trike, the stegosaur, the sauropod and the theropod, these three are the only ones with distinct body forms...hell they're the only families left. And Dimetrodon is extremely well known. Seriously, if they didn't go with this lot, who could they have gone with? User:Eire 23.54 24 Sep 2010
:::::::I find it odd that it does not have a raptor. If it is just a group of high profile dinos, it seems likely that a raptor would have been included. --Khajidha 19:01, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
::::::::Unless, of course, Hasbro's just sick of raptors. The lineup here feels like a "dinosaurs we don't get to do much" set. --ItsWalky 19:03, 24 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::::I think pointing out that the MaxRyuja/Mezodon Megazord has the same five dinosaurs as this is ultimately as relevant as pointing out that 4 fifths of the line up appeared in Neo. If you're going to point out something, point out its the first use of a Parasaurolophus. User:Eire 01.18 25 Sep 2010

"There is no Dinobot combiner." The image of the combined mode looks incredibly similar to The Beast, the combined for of the G1 Dinobots, at least in a UK comic. Might it be investigated if this is an homage? --174.24.124.203 02:14, 31 October 2010 (EDT)
