* Huffer was first revealed on [[April 1]]st 2009 on [http://derrickjwyatt.blogspot.com/2009/03/april-fools.html Derrick Wyatt's blog], as part of a group shot of characters who may or may not have gone on to appear in the cartoon. While Huffer did, his lookalike, Pipes (based on the [[Pipes|original Pipes]], who was himself a [[remold]] of the [[Huffer (G1)|original Huffer]]) did not.

* Huffer's character model is based pretty heavily on [[wikipedia:Mario|Mario]], mustachioed plumber and protagonist of about a billion Nintendo games. Pipes looked like [[wikipedia:Luigi|his brother Luigi]].
