Hi, I removed that pic of the towtruck you uploaded onto Longarm's page, because the file size was far too large (the wiki software warns you when you upload a filesize over its recommended limits) and since there is no information as to where it comes from (TFW2005 is not the source in this case), I don't know of the legality of using it here. --FFN 14:39, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
About the Translation of Episodes titles of Japanese Transformers
I wonder these translated titles of The Headmasters and Super-God Masterforce is official or unofficial? Because some of them are a little bit strange. For example,
:This should be translated into "The Chosen Hero - His Name is Ginrai" instead of "A Hero Is Chosen - His Name Is Ginrai".
:This should be translated into "A Fierce Battle!! The Cybertrons are in Danger" instead of "A Fierce Battle!! The Cybertrons are in Trouble".
and several others. Well, I am just a little bit curious. --TX55 11:10, September 12 2007 (UTC)
::Well, those examples are a bit "six of one." Neither one would especially seem to be more accurate than the other. The translations employed for the wiki (at least in the case of Masterforce and when I come to it, Victory) are those used on the official R2 DVD releases, as translated by Jordan Derber. The only time I've changed any of them is when the English hasn't been parsed the same as the Japanese (compare "Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt" with the DVD's "The Decepticons' Terrifying Manhunt," which sounds better, but doesn't match the way the sentence is actually written in Japanese). - Chris McFeely (not signed in)
Primal launcher?
Hey, TX55. In this edit you said that Primal's chest was originally going to be some sort of launcher, and also added the "fact" template to your statement. Can you... provide any sort of reference yourself? I can't imagine how there could be a launcher there on that toy. (Also, you marked your edit as "minor" even though you were adding actual content to the page, which is probably a bad idea. Minor edits are for things like spelling fixes or changes of word choice, not for when you put new information in.) --Steve-o 21:54, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
So, like... a year ago, you posted some information to Talk:Nexus Zero about how it and Nexus Earth were part of an interstellar transit network, the Earth nexus was destroyed along with the Metal Hunter, and so on. Someone else immediately incorporated it into the article, and it's never been questioned, but I can't find any evidence for it. You storylinked Other Victories, but the only relevant part of that episode I know of is the Vok conversation in the very beginning, which only supports the idea that Nexus Earth was "closed," and none of the rest. ==Visualworks==

OK TX55, we've reverted each other twice now. I have Visualworks, and I have every TV Magazine from October 1985 to February 1996. The statement "Note that the book features most— meaning not all—of the artwork from the TV Magazine, Comic Bom Bom, LD covers and other sources" is factually inaccurate. I'd say that the visualworks has less than half of the artwork from TV Magazine. I can post a ton of examples if you want. Is there any coherent reason why we should have a statement in this wiki that's demonstrably incorrect? Why not just go with my version, which substitutes "Studio OX" for "TV Magazine"? --Jimsorenson 17:47, 3 September 2008 (UTC) (duplicating from the talk there)
:The "Note that the book features...other sources" means the source of those artworks includes TV Magazine, Comic Bom Bom, LD covers, and several other sources. In my opinion, if we just use "Studio OX, Comic Bom Bom, LD covers", that would omit Ban Magami's work, since the art from TV Magazine contains the works of Studio OX and Ban Magami's illustrations. Also, Studio OX's work appears not only in TV Magazine but also in Comic Bom Bom. --<span style= "color:#00FA9A">TX55</span><small><span style= "color:#0000CD">TALK</span></small> 22:43, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Swiping articles for TF Wikia
I know that you're an Admin at TF Wikia. And I know that whatever we write here is fair game for anybody anywhere on the internet to copy and paste. But as a regular contributer here, I expect better from you. If you had helped translate all the titles for the Galaxy Force (manga) article then I could understand why you'd feel obliged to copy and paste it over at TF Wikia [here http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Galaxy_Force_%28manga%29]. But you didn't. Lonegamer and myself did all that work. What I'm saying is, while there's nothing of legal consequence keeping you from copying articles we've written here and pasting them at TF Wikia, I find it in very poor form. If it's an article you wrote yourself, then fine. But as far as I'm concerned, they're the competition and I did not translate all those titles and write that article for them. Thank you. --DrSpengler 12:46, 3 December 2008 (EST)
I think it would be a little weird with no page of his work in the database, so I duplicated the article – without any considering out of careless. I've deleted the whole article (since simply copy/paste is ..."not good") and rewrote it. I’m truly sorry for my behavior. Thanks for notifying me about this. :-)
What do you know about the Mystery of Convoy manga?
I think that you were the first one to bring the existence of the Famicon How-To Manga: Transformers: Mystery of Convoy to light. I'm on a quest to get those las two red links off of the Manga article, so I was wondering if you had any additional info about the thing. McFeely uploaded a scan of the pages reprinted in Tansformers Visualworks HERE. As you can see, it only prints selected stages, making it seem like they aren't collecting the entire manga. However, the stages selected are all the boss battles, which makes me think that maybe the manga didn't cover ALL the stages, but just the ones with boss battles. Since there's no furigana, I'm gonna have to break out my kanji fastfinder when I get home and work on deciphering the text. But I just wanted to know if you had any insight on the book besides what we've already got? --DrSpengler 16:07, 19 September 2010 (EDT)
Synopsis
The Commandos have stolen some energy from the East Power Station, and Optimus Prime sends Team Bullet Train to stop them. While fighting with Rail Racer, Ruination doesn't notice that the Build Team is taking the energy. In a lull in the action, Rail Racer and the Build Team escape through the Global Space Bridge. After being chewed out by Megatron, the Commandos become frustrated that the Autobots can use the Space Bridge as an escape route and make disabling the Space Bridge a priority. They decide that destroying the Build Team is the only way to disable the Space Bridge for good.

In order to flush out the Build Team, the Commandos start attacking construction sites, saying they will continue to do so until they can face the Build Team. Optimus Prime wants the Build Team working on the Space Bridge so he doesn't tell them what is going on. Instead he sends in the Autobot Brothers and Team Bullet Train to stop the Commandos' rampage without success. Wedge eventually finds out about the construction sites, but Optimus orders him to continue working on the Space Bridge. The Build Team can't hold back, however, and defy Optimus's orders. They sabotage the Space Bridge so they can fight the Commandos without interruption.

The Commandos find the Build Team to be of little challenge as fighters, easily beating them, and the Autobots regroup and merge into Landfill, who doesn't have much more success in fighting Ruination. The Autobot brothers, attempting to come to Landfill's aid via the space bridge, end up in the middle of nowhere thanks to Heavy Load's sabotage.

Landfill takes the fight underground by digging a pit and finding underground caverns. Weapons fire causes the caverns to fill up with oil up to the combiners' armpits. Ruination pleads with Landfill not to fire because it will ignite the oil and destroy them both. Landfill fires anyway, determined to stop the Commandos' construction site rampages. The blast, however, doesn't actually destroy either team. The Commandos are blasted into the distance and the Build Team is blasted a short distance. But they are on fire. Optimus Prime arrives just in time to put them out.

The Autobots take a relaxing swim in the remaining oil pools. Wedge apologizes for disobeying orders and Prime tells him not to worry about it.
Notes
Differences with Car Robots
Animation and/or technical glitches
* After Ruination's fight with Rail Racer, there's a Predacon-Predacon scene transition when it should technically be Decepticon-Decepticon (even though the Commandos don't go anywhere and it seems to be solely to avoid animating him decombining).
* When Landfill is having a Strength Test against Ruination, Landfill's eyes are very very small.

Continuity errors
* The entire power plant appears to explode in the very first shot, but is mostly intact a few seconds later.

Trivia
* Sandy Fox does not appear to be voicing T-AI in this episode (her voice is a little bit deeper, and the reading a little flatter), but the identity of the stand-in actress is not currently known. Five'll get you ten that she was on Digimon!
* The energy the Commandos steal is only ever referred to as "energy", even though it's presumably oil (unless humans have worked out how to make energon). Whatever form the energy is supposed to be taking, the power plant seem to store it in comically gigantic blue gas cans, designed at the perfect scale for evil robots to waltz in and steal them. How thoughtful!
*Having previously sat out the events of "Landfill", stalwarts Sky-Byte and the Predacon Trio are once again absent from this episode. What's an incompetent henchman to do, eh?
* Scourge, meanwhile, takes an oddly minimal and inconsistent role; he stands with the Decepticons as Megatron chews them out at the beginning of the episode, and appears once more to confront the Autobot Brothers during one of the Decepticon construction site raids, but is otherwise completely absent, playing no role in the finale whatsoever.
* This episode features a heck of a lot of stock transformation footage, with Railspike, Rapid Run, Midnight Express, Rail Racer, Wedge, Heavy Load, Grimlock, Hightower, Landfill, Optimus Prime and Ruination (twice!) all receiving extended transformation sequences to <s>pad out the running time</s> increase the drama.
