195.240.16.77: /* Dutch Last Issue */

Dutch Last Issue
I understand that you have to check and doublecheck. I do have the issue in question and the best I can do is to make a movie showing it and its contents. The quality is poor but you can see the cover, the introduction -which is in Dutch so rather useless- in which readers were told of the cancellation*. I am also showing US issue 75 as being part of this 32th Dutch comic.

(A lot of US comics were skipped in The Netherlands. Should you want a list I could get you one.)

* Sales were slipping -just like in the US- and the publisher decided to cancel the comic with the fight against Unicron. It is rather illogical to stop at the end of issue 74 with THAT kind of cliffhanger. (I half expected a clever remark about that.) Stopping with issue 75 at least ended the comic at a point that made sense- even there were several open endings. I never did realize the comic continued in the US. I was still young and stupid then. ;-)
Is there some way you can verify that "On the Edge of Extinction!" was the last Junior Press Dutch issue instead of "The Void!"? We have so many new anonymous IP-address users coming in and making random changes that we like to be sure. (Heck, we like to be sure even when established, registered editors make changes like this.)--Apcog 12:11, 5 May 2010 (EDT)
: That was me, sorry. And i can't actualy show it without the picture, but it was on the first page that the interest of transformers was fading, and that it would be the last one.--Sunjumper 12:29, 5 May 2010 (EDT)
::Well, the fact that you're actually a registered contributor with a decent record of edits and such lends weight to your claim, and the way you cite it here helps too. We'll work it out. (Don't hesitate to remind me and/or Detour if we forget, though...)--Apcog 13:14, 10 May 2010 (EDT)
