:As far as I know, the two Energon Combiner reissues are just in ROTF packaging because they're being sold at the same time ROTF stuff is on the shelves. Personally, I'd take the game stuff over the toy branding; They've got decent movie-ish designs, and are actually in a ROTF related fiction (ie, the game). When [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] dropped into Shanghai (literally) via [[NEST]] cargo plane, Long-Range Warriors were the first to fight back, led by their [[Thrust (ROTF)|lieutenant]]. Obviously, it ended quite disastrously, with the Autobot leader shooting through dozens of the Decepticons and cutting the last three stragglers in half at the waist. They later attacked [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]], who was on a mission to destroy [[Demolishor (ROTF)|Demolishor]]. In the same theatre of operations, they also assisted [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]] when he was being pursued by [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]].

When Bumblebee was captured, these air warriors guarded the base where the Autobot was imprisoned. However, [[Jetfire (ROTF)|a traitor]] set the Autobot free, and the units assailed Bumblebee while he worked his way through the base.They also attacked Ironhide again as he worked his way towards the Decepticon's cannons. {{storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (Wii/PS2)}}

'''Ransack''' is the brains of the Decepticon front on [[Velocitron|the Speed Planet]]... but that's not saying very much at all, since [[Crumplezone (Cybertron)|Crumplezone]] is dumb as a bag of hammers and [[Dirt Boss (Cybertron)|Dirt Boss]] is so fixated on grinding [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]] into the dirt he doesn't care about anything else. In fact, Ransack is pretty dumb in his own way, but his gift for motor-mouthed, sneaky weaseling borders on genius.

He's a coward, a sneak, a luckless loser and small-time chiseler who's had his optics opened to a far greater form of evil and power previously unimagined, yet completely lacks the intelligence to attain it. Sometimes it seems [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] only tolerates him because his antics keep the Autobots distracted. If he has a good point to him, it's that he and Crumplezone seem to actually be friends, even though Ransack clearly takes advantage of his huge partner's bulk to lend muscle to his schemes, or as cover when said schemes almost invariably end up in the gutter.

The only time Ransack acts alone is... in his act. Yes, Ransack has tried stand-up comedy. He dreams of one day becoming a star, but his attempts have been met with little success. Not even his grab for the Velocitronian entertainment industry has caught the eye of Override, his secret crush. Of course, she finds him to be little more than an obnoxious troublemaking moron and is totally oblivious to his "affections".

Ransack and Crumplezone were the first Velocitronians approached by Megatron, and were quickly cowed into servitude. Under Megatron's command, they sought out clues to the planet's [[Cyber Planet Key]], first terrorizing [[Brakedown (Cybertron)|Brakedown]] and [[Clocker (Cybertron)|Clocker]], then convincing [[Dirt Boss (Cybertron)|Dirt Boss]] to help them win the [[Planet Cup]] race. All throughout, they snuck around, trying to manipulate and cheat their way though, eventually abandoning Dirt Boss during the desert portion of the race. They made it to the final leg of the race, a vast, twisting track deep inside the planet, but blew all their power ''very'' early in the race and were left eating dust by [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]] and Override. They decided to attempt to just flat-out steal the Planet Cup, and naturally failed.

After their failure to capture the Speed Planet's Cyber Planet Key, Ransack and Crumplezone joined Megatron's forces off-planet attempting to collect the other Cyber Planet Keys. When [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]] gave Megatron a false map that was in fact a trap, Ransack was trapped out in deep space within a steel globe for a while with Megatron, [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]] and [[Mudflap (Cybertron)|Mudflap]].

Once freed, Ransack joined his boss on the return to [[Earth]], fighting against both the Autobots and the Decepticons under Starscream's command. The battlefield quickly shifted to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], where Ransack narrowly avoided becoming lunch for a swarm of [[Scrapmetal (race)|Scrapmetal]]... his pal Crumplezone was not so lucky, however. Crumplezone was revived by Megatron shortly after, and the grateful duo continued to follow Megatron, all the way to [[Gigantion]] the Giant Planet. There... they suffered humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat, pretty much. For a brief moment they had a shot at actually achieving something for Megatron by kidnapping the [[Mini-Con]] [[Jolt (Cybertron)|Jolt]], but were outsmarted by [[Coby Hansen]] and his new [[Cobybot]], then subsequently blasted through a few layers of Gigantion by [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]] using [[Metroplex (Cybertron)|Metroplex's]] colossal axe "Sparkdrinker", which was really overkill.

When Megatron-then-Galvatron finally obtained the [[Omega Lock]] and all four Cyber Planet Keys, they followed him back to Cybertron and the edge of the [[Unicron Singularity]]. There, when threatened by hundreds of Transformers from across the colony worlds, Galvatron used the powers of the Omega Lock to make his lackeys gigantic and incredibly powerful. Ransack was thrilled for about five seconds, until he realized he was still the smallest of the crew, and that even at his new size, he was no bigger than the Transformers from Gigantion, who decided to gang up on him, of course.

After Galvatron's plans to accelerate the growth of the Unicron Singularity failed, Ransack and the other now-normal-sized Decepticons left Galvatron, realizing that he had had no intention of sparing their lives from the cataclysm should he have succeeded. They re-appeared on the displaced [[Jungle Planet (Cybertron)|Jungle Planet]], as the citizens and Autobots were trying to prevent one of the massive planetary engines that was returning the world to its rightful place from falling over. Surprising everyone, they ''helped'' right the engine, having decided to try being good guys and being on the winning side for a change.

Ransack, Crumplezone and [[Thunderblast (Decepticon)|Thunderblast]] journeyed together across each of the colony worlds, trying to find a place to fit in. Ultimately failing, on Earth they cobbled together a makeshift rocket and headed for the stars, shanghaiing Thundercracker before they left, eager to become the [[New Decepticon Army]].

===Unicron Trilogy===
The [[Air Defense Mini-Con Team (Armada)|Air Defense Mini-Con Team]] could combine into the [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]]

The Star Saber was the source of nigh-unlimited power for an ancient civilization. It was later responsible for the civilization's destruction via sinking into the ocean. [[Sonar (Armada)|Sonar]]'s [[Mini-Con]] panel was left there and later recovered by the [[Decepticon]]s. {{storylink|Ruin}}

Later, after invading the Autobot base, [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] used Sonar to locate the other two Mini-Cons and eventually succeeded in forming the Star Saber for the first time in ages. His victory was short-lived, however, as [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]] stole it from him. Hot Shot was shaky in his command of the saber and at first did not put up a good offensive against Megatron. After words of advice from [[Rad White]], Hot Shot harnessed the power of the Mini-Cons to defeat Megatron, cutting off Megatron's antenna in the process. {{storylink|Swoop (episode)|Swoop}}

Hot Shot continued fighting and defeating Decepticons with the Star Saber, the Saber allowing him to easily slice off pieces of his opponents. While in a swordfight with [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]], he was hit once, but Starscream's sword was cut in two by the Saber. But even with the Saber in his possession Hot Shot was no match for [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]], and was easily defeated. Afterwards Scavenger hinted to Megatron a legend of a [[Skyboom (Armada)|shield]] that could counter the Star Saber. {{storylink|Overmatch}}

Hot Shot practiced with the saber but struggled once again against Scavenger. He eventually used the sword to cut away an unfinished bridge, causing Scavenger to fall. {{storylink|Gale}} In another battle they were transported, along with [[Sideways (RID)|Sideways]], to the Decepticon base. After a battle, Sideways was captured by Megatron, who offered a trade for the Star Saber. Hot Shot decided to agree to the trade, but as soon as Sideways was free he called back the Star Saber in the form of its three components. Sideways then turned on Hot Shot and knocked the Saber out of Hot Shot's grip and to Starscream, who then took control of it. {{storylink|Credulous}}

With the Star Saber in hand, the Decepticons won many battles and captured more Mini-Cons. Megatron later tricked Starscream into attacking him, and took the Star Saber as the Decepticon view shifted negatively against Starscream. {{storylink|Conspiracy|Conspiracy}} Megatron used the Star Saber to attack [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]] in super mode, but had his attacks parried. He was later thrown into a crevasse, but kept the Star Saber in hand. {{storylink|Trust (Armada)|Trust}}

With the Star Saber, Megatron believed himself invincible. {{storylink|Reinforcement}} Megatron attacked Optimus Prime with both the Star Saber and the Skyboom Shield. Optimus Prime's gun was cut in two and his arm was damaged. With the help of [[Sparkplug (Armada)|Sparkplug]], Optimus was able to steal the Skyboom Shield away from Megatron. Then the Star Saber and Skyboom Shield collided, causing a beam of light to head off into space. {{storylink|Decisive Battle}}

The Autobots attempted to figure out the origins of the Star Saber while Megatron figured out new ways to attack using it. Optimus later commented that the power released when it hit the Skyboom Shield was due to the "screams of the Mini-Cons." {{storylink|Vow}} When Starscream contested Megatron for leadership of the Decepticons, Megatron bet the Star Saber on the winner. Megatron won the battle and kept the Star Saber for himself. {{storylink|Rebellion}}

[[Thrust (Armada)|Thrust]] at one point asked for the Star Saber as the only way to guarantee Decepticon victory. During the battle, he let Megatron use it and never actually took possession of it. {{storylink|Tactician}} Megatron found himself increasingly frustrated with his inability to harm the Autobots due to the Skyboom Shield. He wounded [[Smokescreen (Armada)|Smokescreen]] once with the Saber, but found further hits once again parried by the shield. {{storylink|Linkup}}

The Star Saber was drawn toward the Skyboom Shield. Together they caused a signal that awakened the Mini-Cons that combined to create the [[Requiem Blaster]]. {{storylink|Desperate}} Later, in the jungle, Starscream used the Saber to battle Optimus Prime. The three component Mini-Cons turned the Saber off to protest the fighting. {{storylink|Sacrifice}}

After changing sides, Starscream used the Star Saber to attack Megatron and Thrust and used it to block a shot from the Requiem Blaster. Optimus Prime then took it to attack [[Tidal Wave (Armada)|Tidal Wave]]. {{storylink|Regeneration}} In the attack to save the Mini-Cons, Starscream again battled Megatron and was able to chop off Megatron's turret. {{storylink|Rescue}} On the adventure to [[Mars (planet)|Mars]], Starscream threw a tantrum and sliced a few mountains with the Saber. Later when the Saber was in the presence of the Skyboom Shield and the Requiem Blaster, all three weapons shone light and then caused an explosion in space. {{storylink|Mars (episode)|Mars}}

When Starscream eventually turned sides again he took the Star Saber back to the Decepticon side. {{storylink|Crack}} He presented the saber to Megatron and was immediately threatened with it. All three weapons were then combined to power the ultimate weapon, the [[Hydra Cannon]]. {{storylink|Threaten}}

Armed with the Star Saber and Skyboom Shield, [[Megatron (Armada)|Galvatron]] led the attack on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] and attacked Optimus Prime. {{storylink|Uprising}} Galvatron later almost handed the Star Saber to [[Thrust (Armada)|Thrust]], but instead used it to attack [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]], who had infiltrated the base. [[Wheeljack (Armada)|Wheeljack]] parried the attack. All of this prevented Thrust from stealing the Star Saber, so he instead ran off with the other two weapons. {{storylink|Dash (episode)|Dash}} When [[Demolishor (Armada)|Demolishor]] was unable to catch the fleeing Thrust, Galvatron threatened him with the Star Saber. {{storylink|Drift (episode)|Drift}} Sideways then got angry at Thrust for not being able to secure the Star Saber with the Skyboom Shield and Requiem Blaster. {{storylink|Portent}}

Galvatron swiped at Starscream with the Star Saber then attacked Optimus Prime when Optimus attempted to negotiate a truce with the Decepticons. Optimus was able to catch the Star Saber in mid-swing. Starscream interrupted the battle, causing Galvatron to attack him. Starscream was able to dodge at first but then allowed himself to be run through. After pulling out the Star Saber from his chassis, Starscream attacked a hovering [[Unicron]]. Unicron retaliated, destroying Starscream utterly. Seeing this, Galvatron picked up the Star Saber and offered it to Optimus Prime, but Sideways appeared and stole it from his hand. {{storylink|Cramp}}

Returning to Unicron, Sideways shoved the saber into the ground, fully awakening him. {{storylink|Alliance (episode)|Alliance}} It then became part of Unicron's body and the component Mini-Cons were said to be impossible to awake. Later, when Galvatron and Optimus Prime invaded Unicron's interior, Galvatron saw the Star Saber and reached for it. Tentacles surrounding it attacked Galvatron, causing him to recoil. Eventually the saber was awakened by a Mini-Con song, splitting into the component Mini-Cons. {{storylink|Origin}}

[[Nemesis Prime (Armada)|Nemesis Prime]] wielded the [[Vorpal Saber]]. After the [Autobots and the Decepticons landed on a strange world, they were menaced by a rampaging, powerful clone of Optimus Prime. The creature, calling himself Nemesis Prime, was seemingly defeated by Megatron when he fired the Requiem Blaster and blew the clone to pieces. However, the pieces reconnected with each other and Nemesis Prime formed the powerful [[Vorpal Saber]] as an extension of his own flexible, warping body. The Vorpal Saber disintegrated when the Mini-Cons arrived to save the other [[Transformer]]s. {{storylink|Puppet}}
