In battle, Wreck-Gar is easy to knock down, but near-impossible to ''keep'' down, thanks to the very unique physiology of the Junkions. He tends to lose pieces easily when he takes damage, but he can repair that damage with lightning speed, and it's possible that even if he's reduced to a pile of parts it's only a short time before he's back on his feet again swinging his axe. This rapid-healing ability reaches almost instantaneous speed on his home planet of Junk, or anywhere he can get his hands on scrap metal. At first Wreck-Gar views the Autobots as thieves and enemies. Attacking without warning after [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]]' 'death', Wreck-Gar and his fellow Junkions soon learn that they were wrong. Wreck-Gar fights [[Springer]] for a while, before being taken down by Daniel Witwicky, with a steel bar to the back of the head.

Following their defeat and the arrival of [[Hot Rod]], [[Kup]], [[Wheelie]] and the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]]--and subsequent pacification with the [[Universal Greeting]], Wreck-Gar has the Junkions rebuild Ultra Magnus, and dance with the Autobots to [["Weird Al" Yankovic]] (who would ironically go on to portray him in ''[[Transformers Animated]]'') until they decide maybe they should protect Cybertron from [[Unicron]] after all.

After boogieing down for an unspecified amount of time, the Junkions reveal their rather cruddy-looking ship to the Autobots and prepare to "destroy Unicron, kill the Grand Poobah, and eliminate even the toughest stains".

The Junkions, like pretty much everyone else, didn't fare well against Unicron. Their ship managed to last longer than most in the battle, proving to be highly resistant to Unicron's fire-breath (due in part certainly to the Junkions' rapid-repair skills), but was ultimately crushed by Unicron's hand... though its passengers apparently lived.

Wreck-Gar survived as did [[Perceptor]], appearing with the rest of Rodimus Prime's Autobot team on Cybertron. Though he returned to Junkion after Unicron's defeat, he remained a reliable ally for the Autobots afterwards.

He is one of the few beings in the galaxy who likes [[Lippo the Clown|clowns]].

After a near-instantaneous repair job, Wreck-Gar called out his fellows and swarmed the Recyclons, severely damaging them and forcing them to retreat to their ship the ''[[Reclamation]]'' and lift off.

Salvage returned to the planet's surface, leaving the ''Reclamation'' in orbit, in order to make peace with Wreck-Gar. But it was all a ruse; Salvage slapped a device on Wreck-Gar, a more powerful version of the Junkion leader's own decelerator laser, preventing him from attacking or calling his people while the orbiting Recyclons fired a beam from the [[Prime Processing Unit]] to convert the planet to energon from space. However, Wreck-Gar proved even stronger than Salvage expected, and he called the Junkions to fire a tractor beam at the ''Reclamation'', sending it crashing into Junk seconds before the Prime Processing Unit activated, causing the ship to explode. Salvage himself lived only a few seconds more than his fellows, as the Junkions closed in on him immediately afterwards.

Their ship managed to last longer than most in the battle, proving to be highly resistant to Unicron's fire-breath (due in part certainly to the Junkions' rapid-repair skills), but was ultimately crushed by Unicron's hand... though its passengers apparently lived.

Wreck-Gar survived as did [[Perceptor]], appearing with the rest of Rodimus Prime's Autobot team on Cybertron. Though he returned to Junkion after Unicron's defeat, he remained a reliable ally for the Autobots afterwards.

After a near-instantaneous repair job, Wreck-Gar called out his fellows and swarmed the Recyclons, severely damaging them and forcing them to retreat to their ship the ''[[Reclamation]]'' and lift off.

Salvage returned to the planet's surface, leaving the ''Reclamation'' in orbit, in order to make peace with Wreck-Gar. But it was all a ruse; Salvage slapped a device on Wreck-Gar, a more powerful version of the Junkion leader's own decelerator laser, preventing him from attacking or calling his people while the orbiting Recyclons fired a beam from the [[Prime Processing Unit]] to convert the planet to energon from space. ==Detailed synopsis==

It all starts with with Sideburn chasing down a weird looking red car. Prowl tries to stop them but loses them. Sideburn follows the car into a junkyard and is shocked and upset that the red car was atcully Megatron. (which brings up an interesting point, does Sideburn care about the cars gender?) The Predacons apparently know about his taste in cars and used it to trick him. Sideburn is then captured by the Predacons and is now part of their evil plan.
The next day Optimus and Sideburn's brothers are all worried when he didn't check in and go out to serch for him. They are stopped by the Predacons who leave a message that if they want to see Sideburn again Optimus had to go get him alone. Optimus decides to go against the wishes of his soldiers who know it's a trap.
Meanwhile Koji is with his friend and friend's father at a car crushing facility. The Predacons attack and order them to leave. As they run, Koji spots Sideburn as their prisoner and stays to see if he can help. Inside the Predacons tell Sideburn their plot. They were going to use Sideburn to lure Optimus into a trap and then hand him over to Megatron.
Back at the base Prowl and X-Brawn convince TAI to send the Spychangers to help Optimus. The two brothers decide to help out by going in disguise. Sadly it doesn't seems that Prowl hasn't any imagination (he's wearing a NO ENTRY bib and holding a NO ENTRY sign while asking his brother to guess who he was) and X-Brawn tells him that it was the dumbest disguise he had ever seen. Thankfully X-Brawn had imagination but no taste, he and Prowl were in vehicle mode but covered in goofy looking paint jobs.
Meanwhile the Predacons are curious as to why Sideburn is into red sport cars. Sideburn then tells a woeful tale when he was a classic blue sports car and how he met a classic red sports
car, but after a tragic accident Sideburn was left all alone. Now the Predacons are all feeling sorry for him, including the part when Sideburn was just a tricycle and how he met a red tricycle. Of corse Skybite reminds them that Sideburn was from Cybertron and was never a classic blue sports car or a tricycle.
Optimus finally arrives and, even though Sideburn tried to warn him, is captured in Energon ropes. Outside, Prowl and X-Brawn arrive and witness Megatron arriving. Thankfully he doesn't notice them and goes inside the building. Inside, Skybite hands over Optimus in which Megatron uses this moment to use the helpless Autobot leader as a punching bag. (that's low, even for you Megatron!!)
Outside Prowl and X-Brawn needed a plan to help their brother and leader. They spot Koji and contact him through his phone. Prowl asks him to switch on the magnectic machine so he could get into the building unnoticed. As the machine lifts him into the air the Predacons all agree that Prowl was one ugly car. As Prowl lands on the convyer belt he transforms and blast the machine which powered the Energon ropes freeing Optimus and Sideburn. The Spychangers suddenly show up and Optimus and Sideburn decide that it's time for payback. After defeating the Predacons Sideburn apoligises and said he'll never chase a red sports car again. Sadly the moment he promises this a red sports car wizzes by and he tails it scraming that he thinks his in love.

The overall aesthetic being somewhere in between Beast Machines odder moments and the new 2007 movie designs.
