'''Wheelie''' is a sneaky little salvage and scrap bot, always underfoot when you least expect it. As a reconnaissance specialist, he's equipped to the teeth with mid-range surveillance equipment. But his real asset is stealth, tooling along unseen and unsuspected while he accomplishes his mission. Unfortunately for his mission, he often bites off more than he can chew—and ends up being the one chewed on!

Wheelie isn't really a ''bad'' sort: a loving home and a little strict discipline could whip him into shape, although he does seem to have a bit of a "mouth" on him.

Disguised as a remote-controlled monster truck toy, Wheelie was ordered by [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]] to steal the [[All Spark]] fragment that belonged to [[Mikaela Banes]]. Wheelie attempted to unlock the safe in her garage containing the fragment, but the noise he made in trying to avoid the various dangerous objects on the floor alerted her to his presence, so she picked him up with tongs and burnt out his left eye with a blowtorch. Mikaela then demanded to know what he was doing there, and Wheelie explained that he needed to bring the All Spark shard to the Decepticons, or he'd be terminated, begging mercy of Mikaela, who he dubbed "Warrior Goddess". Despite his protests, Mikaela locked him inside a box, which she took to [[Princeton University]] when [[Sam Witwicky]] told her he had been having visions and breakdowns induced by the fragment. Although [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] later bisected Mikaela's car, Wheelie's box was undamaged and she retrieved and stored it in [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]]'s boot.

Wheelie did, and he accompanied Mikaela, Sam, Simmons, [[Leo Spitz]], Bumblebee, [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]] to find [[Jetfire (ROTF)|Jetfire]] at the Smithsonian. Wheelie told the humans that Jetfire was a living legend, like "chairman of the board" type, and instructed Sam to point the shard at the Blackbird.

The surge of energon sent through Jetfire awoke the ancient Seeker, who was irritable and cantankerous, and Wheelie noted that Jetfire had not aged very well. As the larger Decepticon made his way outside, he inquired on the state of the civil war, and informed the group that he had defected years earlier. Wheelie was shocked by Jetfire's discussion of how he defected from the Decepticons to the Autobots, a thought which had never occurred to him, and decided he too would defect to Warrior Goddess, humping Mikaela's leg in joy. Sam objected, but Mikaela noted Wheelie was faithful, [[Alice|unlike]] her boyfriend. That did not stop Sam from punting Wheelie.

Agent Simmons went to the Witwicky residence when Sector Seven suspected that [[Sam Witwicky]] had made contact with an [[Non-Biological Extraterrestrial|N.B.E.]] they were tracking. Taking Sam and [[Mikaela Banes]] into custody, he got too into the bad cop role, threatening Sam with life imprisonment, threatening Mikaela's father's parole, and revealing Mikaela's own criminal record. This strategy nearly succeeded...until a seriously pissed off [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] decided to pay Sam and Mikaela's bail—by jumping right in front of their SUV, lifting it off the ground, and tearing the roof off. Although Simmons tried to call for calm, the [[Autobot|Autobots]] easily disarmed the agents. To Simmons's credit, he himself remained calm, while the guy to his left looked like he was going to wet himself.

Prime attempted to interrogate Simmons, who revealed that the only communication he was authorized to have with the N.B.E.s was to tell them he wasn't authorized to communicate with them. He also refused to answer any questions from Sam and Mikaela about Sector Seven or how they knew of the Autobots. Annoyed by his attitude, [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] released [[lubricant]] on him, and then Mikaela had Simmons strip as punishment for threatening her father. Simmons had little to worry about when he was handcuffed to a pole, as a fellow agent had already alerted their confederates. Most of the Autobots managed to elude Sector Seven, but Bumblebee was captured when he saved Sam and Mikaela from a fall.

After arriving at [[Hoover Dam]] (and presumably taking the ''longest'' shower of his life), Agent Simmons, in a new, clean, and higher-in-authority uniform, and trying the awkward role of good cop, told Sam and Mikaela that they may have gotten off on the wrong foot. Taking them to see the [[Megatron (Movie)|Mega Man]], Simmons was told of Megatron's plans by Sam. Taking the guests to see the Cube, Simmons and Banachek then took their guests to see a demonstration of the Cube's power. [[Robert Epps|Sergeant Epps]] noticed some claw marks on the walls of the containment room, asking if Freddy Krueger had been here. Glen Whitmann responded that the three claw marks indicated that it was [[Wolverine]], chuckling. Simmons replied that that his comment was very funny, without any humor at all. Glen then donated his Nokia cellphone, and Simmons commented on how the Japanese's knowledge of the Samurai earned respect (Nokia is actually based in Finland). Funneling the Cube radiation into the containment box, the cellphone [[Nokia-bot|came to life]], but nearly broke the box, forcing Simmons to unleash a massive electrical surge to kill the damn thing. He seemed to enjoy the whole experience.

However, [[Frenzy (Movie)|Frenzy]] had infiltrated the dam and sent a message to the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]], causing [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] to attack. Sam urged Simmons to release Bumblebee, saying he would help, but Simmons stubbornly refused. [[William Lennox|Captain Lennox]] decided to apply some armed persuasion, which Simmons still refused to heed, leading to a standoff between the rangers and Sector Seven agents. Finally, the rangers won when [[John Keller|Secretary Keller]] advised Simmons to comply. Journeying to the nearest known Seeker at the Smithsonian, Simmons hatched a plan to get past security after hours that essentially involved him tasering the guards: Simmons was successful in taking down the guard to whom he'd assigned himself, but Leo wound up tasering himself too. Simmons had to drag him to where Sam, Mikaela and Wheelie had detected [[energon radiation]], and they found their Seeker was an SR-71 Blackbird. Sam's All Spark fragment reactivated the jet, who was actually the former Decepticon [[Jetfire (ROTF)|Jetfire]]. The grouchy Seeker used a [[space bridge]] to transport them to [[Egypt]], where he told them the story of the [[The Fallen]], the [[solar harvester]], and the [[Matrix of Leadership]] needed to power it, which was hidden in the [[Tomb of the Primes]]. The four humans plus Wheelie, [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]] went searching for the Matrix to resurrect [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]].

Simmons used his intelligence skills to evade detection, as The Fallen's demand for Sam's capture made Sam a wanted man. He contacted [[NEST]], telling them to bring Optimus's body to Egypt. Then he got Sam across the [[Jordan]]ian border, mainly because the border guard liked New York and was amiable enough to let his "family" pass. Sam worked out the only clue to the tomb and uncovered the Matrix in [[Petra]]. As Bumblebee drove them back to Egypt, they were attacked by [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]]. Sam ran off to revive Optimus, who was being protected by NEST in ruins near the [[pyramid]]s, while Simmons played decoy and drove in Skids to a quarry. Simmons relished his supporting role, proclaiming he was "One man, abandoned by the country he loves," despite Leo's presence.

Simmons and Leo were driven by Skids and Mudflap into a quarry near the pyramids, where they witnessed the [[Constructicon (ROTF)|Constructicon]]s combine into [[Devastator (ROTF)|Devastator]]. Simmons avoided being sucked into the giant's mouth by running for his legs. As Devastator clambered up the [[Great Pyramid of Giza]], Simmons retrieved a radio from a Jordanian helicopter that Megatron had downed, which he used to contact the [[United States Navy]]. Simmons followed Devastator up the pyramid-despite Leo's protests-with the radio in hand, wheedling his way around a captain's tedious demand as to how he knew of their top secret [[Wikipedia:railgun|railgun]] that were based on studies of the US military. As he climbed the pyramid, Simmons probably became the only human to acknowledge Devastator had two wrecking balls resembling the male scrotum. After the Navy successfully fired on the behemoth, Simmons gained military backup for NEST, whose phone signals had been jammed by [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]]. His vision is flooded with [[Cyberglyphics]], and the shard tumbles to the floor, burning a hole in it. In the kitchen below, all the appliances are brought to new, malevolent life!

The timely intervention of [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] saves the Witwickys from the newborn [[Transformer]]s... at the cost of entirely demolishing their home. Leo manages a website dedicated to sightings of Cybertronians, and one of his contributors is uploading footage of the Shanghai incident. Meanwhile off the shore of Diego Garcia, [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]] arrives via orbital insertion. Transforming to robot mode, he infiltrates the NEST installation and seeds its ventilation system with [[microcon]]s. This swarm forms [[Reedman|the crude outline of a body]], and manages to pilfer the All Spark shard being held at the base.

Apparently wasting no time, Sam attends a party at the [[Delta fraternity]] that night. Though amply distracted by Alice's ample mammalian traits, he insists he ought to call Mikaela. Alice has other ideas, and suggests he just pretend that ''she'' is his girlfriend. Sam offers half-hearted protest, and is thankfully saved from embarrassing himself by the arrival of Bumblebee. Bumblebee urges him to get in, and he takes the welcome reprieve as he is driven off to speak with Optimus Prime. Prime reveals to Sam that the shard of the All Spark has been stolen from the NEST base, and that the Autobots are under fire from human authorities. He asks Sam to speak on the Autobots' behalf, to help the humans understand. Sam says he's got enough on his plate, and thus can't help the Autobots right now.

In the modern day of [[Shanghai]], [[China]], the [[NEST]] forces engage [[Demolishor (ROTF)|Demolishor]], who comments on the annoying tenacity of the human race. Meanwhile, [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]] tries to make good his escape elsewhere in the city, with [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]] and [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] hot in pursuit. Unfortunately, their combined ice cream truck form proves too ungainly to handle the turns, leaving the three motorcycles that make up [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]] to continue the chase. Arcee is advised to make certain Sideways does not breach the quarantine perimeter, to prevent public knowledge of the incident.

[[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] and [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] finally manage to take down Demolishor, while the timely arrival of Sideswipe aids in neutralizing Sideways. As Prime stands over the wrecked form of the [[Constructicon (ROTF)|Constructicon]] he felled, Demolishor delivers a warning: their days on this planet are numbered as The Fallen will soon claim it!

Back [[United States of America|stateside]], [[Sam Witwicky]] snorts derisively at the government coverup of the [[Mission City]] debacle. He is nearly finished packing to go off to college. He gets a call from [[Mikaela Banes|Mikaela]], now working at a motorcycle repair shop. She announces she's breaking up with him, which he objects to just shortly before he discovers a shard of the [[All Spark]] embedded in the shirt he wore in Mission City. His vision is flooded with [[Cyberglyphics]], and the shard tumbles to the floor, burning a hole in it. In the kitchen below, all the appliances are brought to new, malevolent life!

The timely intervention of [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] saves the Witwickys from the newborn [[Transformer]]s... at the cost of entirely demolishing their home. Mikaela arrives, having rushed over when Sam went quiet. Sam entrusts her with the All Spark shard, urging her not to tell anyone of it. Little does he know that the RC truck over by the fire hydrant is actually the [[Decepticon]] [[Wheelie (ROTF)|Wheelie]], who is spying on them. Ron calms his wife down by saying that the government will take care of their house. Sam talks with Bumblebee, telling him that unfortunately freshmen aren't allowed cars on campus, so this will be goodbye for awhile.

Back at the [[Diego Garcia]] base of NEST, the [[Autobot]]s are met by a representative of the U.S. government, on orders from the [[President of the United States|president]]. [[Theodore Galloway|Director Galloway]] and [[Morshower|Admiral Morshower]]'s briefing for them is classified, even from other NEST operatives, but in low orbit the Decepticon [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]] parasitizes a communications satellite to listen in. Optimus Prime tells the Admiral that the Decepticons have most definitely ''not'' abandoned Earth, and relays the cryptic warning he received in Shanghai. Galloway is concerned that the Autobots are keeping secrets, as they have kept weapons technology from their allies and have been sending unauthorized transmissions into space. He asks if the Autobots will leave should the president decide to ask them to. Prime reluctantly answers that they will. He however asks Galloway and by extension the president to consider what will happen if the Autobots leave and the threat still remains.

Moving into his dorm on campus, Sam meets [[Leo Spitz]], his conspiracy theorist roommate. Leo manages a website dedicated to sightings of Cybertronians, and one of his contributors is uploading footage of the Shanghai incident. As Sam watches, he is approached by the extremely enthusiastic [[Alice]], his neighbor.

Meanwhile off the shore of Diego Garcia, [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]] arrives via orbital insertion. Transforming to robot mode, he infiltrates the NEST installation and seeds its ventilation system with [[microcon]]s. This swarm forms [[Reedman|the crude outline of a body]], and manages to pilfer the All Spark shard being held at the base.

Apparently wasting no time, Sam attends a party at the [[Delta fraternity]] that night. Though amply distracted by Alice's ample mammalian traits, he insists he ought to call Mikaela. Alice has other ideas, and suggests he just pretend that ''she'' is his girlfriend. Sam offers half-hearted protest, and is thankfully saved from embarrassing himself by the arrival of Bumblebee. Bumblebee urges him to get in, and he takes the welcome reprieve as he is driven off to speak with Optimus Prime. Prime reveals to Sam that the shard of the All Spark has been stolen from the NEST base, and that the Autobots are under fire from human authorities. Leo manages a website dedicated to sightings of Cybertronians, and one of his contributors is uploading footage of the Shanghai incident. Meanwhile off the shore of Diego Garcia, [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]] arrives via orbital insertion.
