Rippersnapper has a massive inferiority complex; so he takes it out on just about everything else he deems inferior: animals, Autobots, people, Autobots, and quite frequently Autobots. Ultimately though, all these inferior traits he finds in others are just reflections of the traits he finds inferior in himself. He especially hates the odor of carbon-based lifeforms, so that means he just hates the smell of himself?

Rippersnapper can combine with the other Terrorcons to form Abominus.
Rippersnapper was first spotted with his fellow Terrorcons inside Unicron's head. Galvatron used them to blast into Unicron so he could retrieve more anti-electrons for an attack against the Autobots. Rippersnapper and his consorts did a decent job in keeping the Autobots at bay, but were quickly forced into retreating when Grimlock finished building the Technobots, and gave them the ability to merge into Computron. Grimlock's New Brain

Later on, the Terrorcons were seen under the service of the Quintessons. When Dirk Manus and his Technobot escorts were on their way through space, Abominus swooped down and attacked, shooting them from the sky. The automatic timer in Abominus, placed within by the Quintessons, forced Abominus to separate into his Terrorcon compenments. The team was upset they couldn't finish the task of destroying the Autobots, and Rippersnapper was quick to show the most hostility, not wanting to stop now. Unable to indulge their violent impulses against the world as a group, most of the Terrorcons started fighting each other. Money Is Everything

In 2011, Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons journeyed to Cybertron over the long-abandoned Decepticon Space Bridge. They were part of the first wave of Galvatron's siege, hoping to gain control of Vector Sigma. Rippersnapper's team combined into Abominus to battle Superion. Four Warriors Come out of the Sky Later on, Abominus teamed up with his fellow combiners to wage war on their Autobot counterparts. Their victory seemed assured until the Battleship Maximus swooped in and scattered the Decepticon combiners. They barely survived the encounter. The Mystery of Planet Master On Earth, Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons intervened on Hot Rod's search for the Matrix of Leadership. Chromedome and the Autobot Headmasters kept the Terrorcons busy so that Hot Rod could complete his mission. Even after the Terrorcons formed Abominus, the Headmasters stood against them, and the arrival of Computron swung the odds firmly on the Autobots' side. Abominus was last seen with his head buried in the sand, being kicked in the side by Computron. Birth of the Fantastic Double Prime

When Galvatron launched a gravity-warping meteorite at the Autobots on Athenia, he brought along Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons to occupy the Autobot forces. Linking up as Abominus, they once again battled Computron and the Headmasters. Approach of the Demon Meteorite

Scorponok devised a scheme to harvest plasma energy from the planet Mars by setting off a series of explosives that would utterly destroy the planet, releasing its stored energies. Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons were responsible for planting the bombs. Hun-Gurrr was spotted by Daniel Witwicky, Wheelie and Shōki of the Trainbots, but the other Terrorcons managed to take them hostage. Hun-Gurrr left Rippersnapper and Sinnertwin in charge of the hostages, while he took the other Terrorcons to finish planting the charges. They caught an amusing show as Wheelie and Danny fought in their cell, but the tussle was actually a feint to hide a homing signal Danny sent out to his father. The Headmasters soon arrived and drove off Sinnertwin and Rippersnapper, freeing the hostages. Explosion on Mars!! Maximus Is in Danger Regrouping, the Terrorcons managed to get two of the three sites set before being set upon by Raiden and the Headmasters. By forming Abominus, Rippersnapper's team held their own until Scorponok arrived with his mighty Transtector, MegaZarak. The giant scorpion occupied the Autobots long enough for the Terrorcons to finish their work, and Mars was consumed by the resultant atomic inferno. Explosion on Mars!! MegaZarak Appears

Soon after, Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons joined Sixshot the returning Galvatron on an energy raid. They sought to prevent the Autobots from re-energizing the distant world of Sandra, and steal the energy for themselves. Rippersnapper's team formed Abominus for yet another in a series of battles against Computron. SOS from Planet Sandra Rippersnapper was present when Galvatron announced his plans to leave the galaxy and loot the energy resources of other solar systems. Daniel Faces His Biggest Crisis Ever!!

After an extended mission in space, Rippersnapper returned with Galvatron and the other Decepticons, setting up shop on Earth under Sixshot's command. He joined an enormous offensive against the Autobots' facility in Miami, drawing out the troops from Autobot City so that Sixshot could kill Ultra Magnus. Body-slamming Computron as Abominus was just icing on the cake. Ultra Magnus Dies!! The warfare on Earth continued, as Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons assembled as Abominus in part of a five-fold simultaneous strike on Autobot interests engineered by Sixshot. The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg As Scorponok assumed control of the Decepticons again, Rippersnapper was seen at a rally being held in his honor on Chaar. Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons later joined a Decepticon strike on the Kamchatka Penninsula, seeking to gain control of the Pacific Ring of Fire. I Risk My Life for Earth

As Scorponok abandoned Earth in favor of conquering Master, Rippersnapper was one of his many troops seen attacking the planet's fortifications. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 2) Later on, he guarded the Decepticons' cavernous base while the G-Metal enhanced Zarak Shield was being constructed. The Zarak Shield Turns the Tide As part of Abominus, Rippersnapper participated in the final battle with the Autobots at the North Pole. He escaped into space with the rest of Scorponok's Decepticons. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)
Seeking to create a Decepticon Zone to counter the Autobot Zone, Decepticon Emperor Violen Jiger gathered together the Nine Great Demon Generals, upgrading them with powerful new armor and weaponry, then sent them forth to conquer planets. noteukonly
RRRrrrippersnapper and the Terrorcons came to Nebulos with Scorponok in search of Fortress Maximus and his band. They got involved in local acts of destruction, targeting the resort of Splendora along with the Horrorcons. While the other Terrorcons were having fun, Rippersnapper seemed more serious than the others: dedicated to proving how powerful they were to the Nebulans, and disgusted at the idea of organic life instead of mechanical. The Decepticons were soon driven off by Computron and the Autobot Headmasters, though. Love and Steel! Later, Rippersnapper joined Scorponok and the Terrorcons in confronting the Autobot Targetmasters at Nebulos's Nursery. Interestingly, Rippersnapper was the only Terrorcon waiting around in his beast mode when Zarak came calling on the Terrorcons for the mission. At the Nursery, Rippersnapper lobbed several missiles towards the Autobots, only to cause serious damage to the botanical gardens instead. Seeing the building they came to protect being destroyed, the Autobots fled rather than risk causing further damage. Brothers in Armor!!

When the Decepticon Civil War broke out, Rippersnapper and the rest of Scorponok's crew followed Horri-Bull into battle with Ratbat's forces. He was seen fighting Octane in single combat. Cold War! Shortly thereafter, Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons died while fighting the Underbase-powered Starscream in Buenos Aires. Dark Star (issue)

Marvel UK future timelines
In 2009, an apocalyptic time storm was raging through space while Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons were working with Soundwave on Earth to extract energy from the planet's core. Bored with the construction process, Rippersnapper and the others went out to play among the humans, taking advantage of the fear and doomsday warnings spreading through the populace. He may have even squished a sidewalk preacher! Anyway, Hun-Grrr came to collect his minions and they returned to the extraction site, only to be attacked by the Autobots. Rippersnapper left for cover, but that only left the Autobots with a clear shot at their true target: the laser bore. Soundwave and the Terrorcons tracked the Autobots back to their trans-time dimensional portal, and were briefly involved in the Time Wars of 1989 before returning to the future. Time Wars

Classics
In the 21st century, Rippersnapper and the Terrorcons were repaired and rejoined the Decepticons under Bludgeon's control. One day, they were working in the armory when Hun-Grrr summoned them for battle. Rippersnapper and the others joined as Abominus and fought against their fellow Decepticons without even knowing why Hun-Grrr was angry. They ended up getting impaled by Piranacon, blasted into stasis lock, and taken off to wherever Crankcase and Gutcruncher dispose of old waste.

And yet, they probably had no regrets. At Fight's End

Transformers in 3-D
The Terrorcons and Cyclonus intercepted Ultra Magnus's team during the search for Metascan Alpha. The Terrorcons united into Abominus, but the Autobots ignored them and continued with their mission. A short time later, Abominus came under attack from the Destructons and was blasted apart. The Terrorcons began a retreat and found themselves being aided by Ultra Magnus, resulting in Cyclonus agreeing to a truce between the two factions. The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3
Rippersnapper attended a Decepticon meeting arranged by Serpent O.R., and seemed relatively uninterested in everything that happened, including Headstrong trying to attack Hun-Grrr. Soon enough, Serpent O.R. arrived and convinced Rippersnapper to join his army by plugging his tentacles into the Terrorcon's visor-plate and feeding him raw data about Serpent O.R.'s "father". The Art of War issue 3 He was later seen among the troops sent to defend the Decepticon base from a combined Autobot/[[G.I. Rippersnapper was a fan of Sixshot. He and the other Terrorcons were deployed to Mumu-Obscura, but were taken prisoner by the Reapers to lure Sixshot to the planet.
Despite being robotic lifeforms with generally non-sexual methods of reproduction, the Transformer species has almost always been shown to include both male and female gender analogues, at least mentally if not physically. Female Transformers are usually portrayed as comparatively rare, but are considered an official part of the Transformers franchise in every continuity.

Appearence
The appearence of Female Transformers in most continuities would seem to suggest a level of "sexual" dimorphism is present in at least the more humanoid members of the Transformers species (the term sexual is used in a gender-based, rather than physical sense, see the reproduction link above for that whole kettle of robo-fish). In almost all cases female Transformers are portrayed as comparatively more gracile of form, and more rounded and curved in general, than their male counterparts. Often they have a more than passing resemblance to an attactive human female made of metal and wearing armor and kibble, though there are exceptions to this rule, and bulky, less human-like females have been seen from time to time (notably Strika and Discharge, though the latter is said to be wearing armor that obscures her true appearence.)

Fiction
Generation 1 animated series
Only female Autobots are ever seen in this continuity, and given the appearence of Beta back in the slave days under Quintesson rule it seems clear they were produced alongside the male Autobots as part of the Quintessons domestic product line, likely for those races that prefered female-style servants. It seems from all evidence (though it is not confirmed) that the millitary hardware line did not possess a counterpart to this, thus no female Decepticons are ever seen.

Generation 1 Marvel Comic
No female Transformers are ever seen in the US stories. The UK stories specifically establish that the Transformers have no gender naturally, and Arcee is created as the sole female Transformer in an attempt to placate human feminists. (This series is surprisingly alone in declaring Transformers to be naturally gender free.)

Transformers: Victory manga
Beast Wars
In Beast Wars, Rattrap makes numerous innuendoes, especially involving Silverbolt and Blackarchnia's relationship, that suggest that, at least by that era, there *may* have been something sex-like between TFs.

===Beast Wars II==

Beast Machines
Beast Machines' Technorganic reformating raises even further questions. It is possible that the Technorganic female Transformers, being merged organic and technological life to a cellular level, might actually be physically female and capable of bearing young, but that remains speculation.

Dreamwave comic continuity
According to DK's Transformers: The Ultimate Guide, "Transformers are inherently non-gender specific, and only some quirk of their timelost origins can account for their (female Transformers) difference in appearance and attitude." Dreamwave was in the process of introducing more female Transformers and explicating their links to the Quintessons in this continuity when it went out of buisness.

Unicron Trilogy
IDW Comic continuity
Simon Furman has stated that he will not use female Transformers in the IDW continuity untill or unless he comes up with a reason/way for them to exist that makes logical sense to him. He did not rule out doing so however, as he said he had found a similar justification for the Pretenders, which lead to the Stormbringer miniseries.
