The [[Autobot]] honoured dead are placed in massive mausoleum spacecraft which are left to drift in space. These spacecraft feature a docking bay, presumably to allow Autobot pilgrims to pay their respects to past heroes. It is unknown if these mausoleums have defences to protect the dead against disrespectful [[Decepticons]]. <ref>[[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] in both the comic and the show.</ref>

A facsimile Optimus Prime was once buried when the Earth-bound Autobots believed it to be the real Optimus. This was a departure from Cybertronian traditions, but according to the Autobots present, adhering to Earth traditions was 'what he would have wanted'. When he died for real (temporarily) a short time later, his body was instead shot into space, suggesting that maybe he wouldn't have wanted burial after all. <ref>(UK #104, #109)</ref>

Harold Edsel

''Howard Edsel is a [[human]] movie star in [[Generation 1]] continuity.''

Howard had the bad luck of "staring" in a science fiction film along with [[Karren Fishhook]] whose director became obsessed with using [[Hoist (G1)| Hoist ]] and several of the Autobots as his main characters (likely saving loads on his FX budget).

For reasons that are unclear he bears some resemblence to the [[Star Wars | Star Warrior]] Han Solo.

== Episode: Hoist Goes Hollywood ==

The combination of bad Autobot acting and [[Decepticon]] attention apparently spelled doom for Howard's film and peace of mind.
