: Sort of. They put Car Robots, not RiD, in the G1 Timeline. They can't put *both* in, since they're two different things, unless one happened after the other. Also, at the end of Binaltech, everything got wiped out and rebooted, IIRC, so one Prowl-2 can't become the other regardless. --[[User:ItsWalky|ItsWalky]] 22:57, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
::Yes, Prowl 2 was the name for his Binaltech body when it was planned to operate simultaneously with Prowl, back before he Died. On a side note did anyone ever translate that damn thing? And to Walky, Takara considers RID and Car Robots to be the same thing, at least that's what Sideway's first appearance being in RID seems to suggest. But until we get a Translation of that page we should take the CR/Movie stuff with a grain of salt. [[User:85.195.123.29|85.195.123.29]]

'''Chip Chase''' is a human ally of the [[Autobot]]s and [[Spike Witwicky]]'s best friend. Suffering from some unknown malady, Chip is confined to a wheelchair. He isn't defined by his disability though, but rather by his geeky genius-level skills with computers, programming, and electronics.

He also has tremendous upper body strength.

Chip Chase came to the attentions of the Autobots as a friend of [[Spike Witwicky]] and the whiz behind [[Dr. Alcazar]]'s antimatter formula project. Though the Decepticons stole the antimatter formula, Chip memorized the data.

Chip has a remarkably advanced (or at least ridiculously expensive) desktop computer for 1984. It contains among other things, a 16 Million color monitor (Chip's view of the Decepticons was no different than [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl's]]), a microphone, dial up networking, speakers, and a soundcard that could interpret Prowl's speech. Maybe he's friends with [[Ethan Zachary]].

Chip once tore a [[Floppy disk|floppy disk]] apart with '' his bare hands''. This may explain why [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] is [[Afterdeath!|keen to stay in his good books]].

Chip is a graduate of Yal University, is able to survive [[acid rain]], is able to stand (despite being wheelchair bound), and once saved the world by getting [[Thrust (G1)|Thrust]] to shoot [[Teletraan-1]].

He once told a group of Autobots that, "No one is really disabled as long as they have courage." If any human was an illustration of this, it's Chip Chase.
