:Good question! My gut reaction is 'comics-only means comics-continuity only.' and coloring books (somehow) get lumped under the comics banner by the same logic from which you can have 'prose-only' characters hat have pictures.

Whereas Leonicus didn't recognize footage of Sandstorm to be Scorpius (or at least not at first). I think they can be mentioned as long as they are stated as being pseudo-canonical. I certainly think that both of those stories deserve their own articles, for example. Kremzeek was accidentally created by [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] and [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] whilst experimenting in the lab of the Decepticons' crashed starship-base.

Kremzeek immediately began making the electrical equipment aboard the ship malfunction, giving Megatron the idea to use him as a weapon against the [[Autobot]]s. Kremzeek succeeded in damaging most of the Autobots (leaving only [[Inferno (G1)|Inferno]], [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], [[Omega Supreme (G1)|Omega Supreme]], [[Blaster]] and [[Bumblebee]] functional) before entering [[Teletraan I]] and traveling to [[Japan]]. The remaining Autobots followed in Omega Supreme, after being made invulnerable to Kremzeek's effects by [[Sparkplug Witwicky|Sparkplug]]'s (to be patented)
Magical Insulating Spray. Kremzeek was on the rampage in Japan when Blaster managed to capture the creature in his chest compartment. Deciding to "fry him with my own juice," Blaster soon discovered that this wasn't a capital idea. Soon there were multitudes of the buggers.

Optimus finally came up with a plan (with the help of some dorkwad) and trapped all of the Kremzeeks inside a radio tower, but they merged into a giant monster Kremzeek better suited for menacing [[Tokyo]]. Optimus ordered the radio tower transmitter to be activated, sending the creature into Megatron's Weapon of the Week (tm), consuming all its energy whilst the Decepticons escaped. The energy dispersed, and Kremzeek was destroyed. Poor widdle Kremzeek.

After its demise, Bumblebee reflects that he kinda misses the little creep (famous last words). Suddenly, a solitary Kremzeek emerges from Blaster, and the hilarious pursuit antics restarted. {{storylink|Kremzeek!}}

I feel like there should be bit outlining how the Insecticons (1984) fit intot he larger concept of the Insecticon clans.

I mean, it basically requores you ignore the original reason given for their insectlike behavior in their intro episode. (Whichw as suppostion, and their identi-computer may have been damaaged on TOP of them being Insecticons already I suppose...)

It fits better witht he Insecticons considerign themselves MEgatron's allies, not his underlings. An assesment he shared. (Theys eemed to view him this way even in his intro ep.) I think [[Macabre (G1)]] from Target: 2006 had a bat alt-mode, rather than being an Insecticon. ==Cartoon Origin?==

Not to be picky, but are we determined that they definately came from the Nemesis in the cartoon like it says? I always felt that was a little bit up in the air. Megatron says their pod crashed here before the Nemesis went down, but that's not quite the same as saying it came from it. And they don't seem to know Megatron and co. and, more, Megatron and co. don't seem to know them. Plus they never, throughout the series, really show any impulse to join-up with his troops officially or follow his orders when not actively bribed. ::Really, everything points to the Insecticons having been functional on Earth for 4 million years with no other TF's... and going native/a little crazy. (which yes, means they were active on Earth both during the BEast Wars and the time Metalhawk's crew was on Earth, whatever.)
::The Insecticons are very consistent on referring to the Decepticons as 'other' (not including themselves under the Decepticon banner) and MEgatron even (in their 23nd ep IIRC) refers to them as 'our Insecticon allies.' At the time, this was just an acknowledgment that they were seperate fromt he main decepticon force.
