==Zone Deaths==
I had removed the references to Trypticon dying post-Headmasters because I don't know that we have a concrete source saying that the members of the Destron 9 Dai Mashougun were actually '''dead'''. I mean, we thought Metrotitan was a zombie Metroplex for the longest time, and that turned out to be false. The odds of these nine guys all dying off-screen just to be brought back to life again feels... off.

(Black Zarak I'll grant for certain as dead, and maybe King Poseidon as I don't know what happens to Turtler in MF.)

Unless we can have specific reference to them all being resurrected by Violen Jyger (Jaeger/Jiger/whatnot), I'd say leave it out.

Hmmm...maybe it's just my computer? It's weird, 250 screws it up but 200 or 300 it's fine.

As for the deaths, the Destron Generals were usually refered as the "9 Resurrected Destron Demon-Generals", implying that they were all brought back to life. Many thanks. "Kyuu Daimashou-gun" literally translates to "9 Great Demonic Warriors". That leaves me to guess that the use of the word "demonic" and the presence of dead Decepticons like Black Zarak are what pointed people in the direction of them ALL being resurrected. :Hmm. That's a mildly different interpretation than I had been going on... a friend of mine thought that "mashougun" was a pun combining ''mashou'' (demonic/devillish/etc) with ''shougun'' ("general"), which is why I had been hyphenating it "Demon-Generals".

Hmmm. That "Mashougun" gag actually went over my head, there. The definately DOES work, and I doubt it's a coincidence. But I guess whether they're "Demonic Generals" or "Demonic Warriors" doesn't really matter. Personally, I like "Generals" better. Also, I added a stub for [[Violen Jygar]]. Haven't written the fiction summary yet, so I'll be sure to add that tid bit abut him being the cumulation of angry Decepticon Sparks (didn't know that until now). == UK Release ==

Cute bit of trivia regarding the UK release - the Marvel comic actually rounded up 10 as competition prizes. The competition emphasised that the toy was not 'normally' available in the UK - though an occasional recurring theme in letters pages was "I found this toy that you said isn't out in the UK"... Grimlock occasionally asked for readers to send packaging in so he could verify they were genuine toys, and opined they were. Don't know enough about UK 1980s toy shop ordering channels to come up with anything definitive, but I guess smaller independents went through different wholesalers - it's possible, considering the line seems to have had a slower decline over here, that we got shipped US overstock or something. While the original thirteen were killed by the Fallen in the comic and novel, there's nothing to confirm Sentinel wasn't a descendant like Optimus. :::The first time I heard Sentinel mentioned was in the movie. And the Sentinel Prime expedition. You'd be forgiven for presuming, and really there's no reason not too, it was named after the Prime in charge. And given the massively different origin of the Primes in the movie compared to the adaptations, it seems again logical that he's simple a predecessor of Optimus, not one of the original Primes. There is some assumptions being made, however they are logical assumptions. IF you're concerned, throw in a note at the bottom. Hey, I thought he was BIG jerk too.(Never seen the movie though.)
Maybe Sentinel(TFA) wanted to get revenge on Optimus(TFA).
So, he decided to get a role on Dark of the Moon.
His audition was successful. All he needed to do was change his alternate mode to make sure nobody knew it was him.
When the moment was right he could get revenge on Optimus(For stealing his fifteen stellar cycles of fame).
However,on set he was killed. And it was caught on film!
Let's just say there is more than meets the eye with Sentinel.

After several more failed missions, the interrogation of Dr. Onishi finally saw results in the discovery of a crashed Autobot spaceship in America. Megatron largely stayed back at base after these incidents until the Commandos were able to sabotage the Autobot [[Global Space Bridge]]. The Decepticons subsequently tracked the Autobots to the Sahara Desert, Megatron leading the mission himself. Megatron attempted to take the Orb, but was caught in a booby trap which seized him in a powerful energy field. Soon he and Optimus were locked in combat, resulting in Megatron disappearing in the collapsing cavern. In the aftermath, the three beast Predacons pulled themselves out of the rubble, only to have their energy drained. Scourge's second attempt to control Maximus failed as well, leading the Decepticons to try and capture [[Koji Onishi]], the Autobots' pet human. Instead they got hold of Koji's friend [[Karl]], but Galvatron accompanied Scourge and Sky-Byte to Maximus's location. Once Karl had taken control of the titan, Scourge turned on his master, ordering Karl to destroy Galvatron. Galvatron used one of his new abilities to seize the traitorous Decepticons in an energy field and forcibly reprogram them to serve him. Placing them under the command of Sky-Byte, he then sent them to attack the Autobot base. Although the Decepticons and Predacons were led into a trap by the Autobots, Galvatron brought the ''Megastar'' to the battle, growing in size to join with the battle station as its right hand. After Fortress Maximus destroyed the battle station, Galvatron fell, apparently lifeless, to the ground. {{storylink|Surprise Attack!}} Not finished yet, Galvatron used his new vampiric powers to drain energy from Maximus. * According to the first ''Car Robots'' toy catalog, the Destrongers are "a rapidly evolved branch of the Destron race of Transformers, who as a whole are scattered across the whole universe and other dimensions". Evolution does not seem to have bred competence.
* The Japanese names of all the Destrongers begin with the letter G, just like Gigatron.
