Hey Guys, Was wondering if you were going to put anything on the home page about the movie launching tonight? I was going to put this wiki in the spotlight starting Friday to promote it, but I think its needs a more recognizable logo so people will click on it. Maybe if the stuff you said was funny, no one would have a problem with it, but most of the jokes on here are pretty lame, it's not about transformers fans being serious, it's about your jokes being bad. When other people try to put there humor in it, you erase it. Sooooo make the jokes funny and you wont have to worry about it. Besides the Real Wikipedia has more information on transformers than the one dedicated to transformers have, what gives. Maybe before you work on your lame jokes you can fill out the information on the article. Sorry just what I think about it, don't take to much offence. {{unsigned|67.140.110.210}}

:Humor is subjective. Pesonally, I consider most of the jokes on this site to be neutral. They are clearly trying to be silly, but neither funny nor painful. They merely lighten the tone. Users who show up here and do nothing but change jokes into different jokes are clearly not accomplishing anything. The new jokes are never any better -- they are merely different, and often worse. That is a waste of everybody's time. I haven't spent a lot of time browsing Transformers material on Wikipedia, but I highly doubt that their information is ''better'', even if there might be a larger quantity of it. What little I've seen there has been disorganized, mixes fan assertions with canon, and is at times not even reliable. ::Yep, this wiki is a far more reliable source of information for Transformers than the Wikipedia shall ever be. I've corrected some of their base assumptions and half-truths upon occassion. If we lack information for something, '''then feel free to contribute''' to our wiki or wait for one of us to get around to it. Really, what the Wikipedia offers is rather generalised information and (as steve-o points out) fan-assumed fanon and downright false information. Besides, we provide the Transformers info that the users on the wikipedia either don't know or won't bother with, such as info on the toys, their designers, toy construction materials, obscure series and/or characters and so on.

==Logos for 'By series' column==
I was uploading some logos for the franchise pages, and it got me thinking - the By series column on the main page is basically a bunch of text, and for either visual-minded people or those who aren't as familiar with TF, it can be confusing. How about we get brand/franchise logos for all the series so far and put them into the column? The logos would be easier to see and recognisable.

I made [http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/166/logosbyseriesec4.jpg this] - the logos there are at 250px, but I later reduced that to 150px and they still seem fine (unless you've a super-high resolution on a less than super-large monitor). ==Generation 1/Beast Era/Robots In Disguise==

The Allspark - also known as "the Matrix" or "the Well of All Sparks" - is the dimension from which all Transformer [[spark]]s that exist, have existed, or ever will exist originate. Collectively, the sparks that compose the Allspark are the essence of [[Primus]].

When a Transformer is "born," a single spark departs the Allspark and suffuses itself into the new Transformer body, giving it true life and soul. When the Transformer then reaches the end of its life, the spark departs its body and returns to the Allspark; all the knowledge that the Transformer acquired and all of its life experiences are contained with the spark, and they are added to the totality that it the Allspark. This collective knowledge is known as the "Wisdom of the Ages." Sparks do not retain their individuality within the Allspark, save for those belonging to former Autobot leaders.

The Autobot mantra "[[Till all are one]]" is likely derived in some way from the unity that exists within the Allspark. Whether it refers to a day when the war will end and Autobot and Decepticon will become united, or to the ultimate end of Transformer life and the return of all sparks to the Allspark, however, is unknown.

There are several known means of accessing the Allspark.

*Most prominently, there is the [[Matrix of Leadership]], the legendary talisman carried by Autobot leaders. In addition to permitting the creation of new Transformer life by transferring a spark from the Allspark, the Matrix also allows Autobots to access the Allspark's accumulated wisdom by sending their own spark into it, to be guided and informed by the sparks of the deceased Autobot leaders. This method, in particular, seems to have caused some confusion amongst Transformers - the Allspark has been called "The Matrix" on several occasions, and many Transformers labor under the misconception that the Matrix of Leadership actually ''contains'' the sparks of the Autobot leaders.

*Secondly, there is the mega-computer [[Vector Sigma]], which, like the Matrix, endows new Transformers with life through the transferrence of sparks. [[Megatron]] arrives on Earth in search of [[Fortress Maximus]]. He abducts [[Dr. Onishi]], an energy expert who has discovered underground energy anomalies that reveal Maximus' initial location. Onishi is kept unconscious and his brain is scanned by psycho-probes; he proves surprisingly resistant to this technique, and Megatron wastes some time tracking down apparent clues that had really just been strong but meaningless memories in Onishi's psyche. For one thing, he REALLY liked vintage trains.

While acquiring and assembling the items necessary in order to locate Fortress Maximus' commanding entity [[Cerebros]], Megatron comes into contact with the Orb of Sigma, an extremely powerful ancient Autobot relic. Exposure to the Orb's energies transforms Megatron into [[Galvatron]]. The changes seem to be more than armor-deep: Galvatron proclaims Megatron dead and he himself to be an entirely new person. His new powers include total immunity to extremes of temperature and pressure; causing volcanic eruptions; paralyzing other Transformers; and mentally reprogramming his Decepticon minions. He is also revealed to have zillions of tiny cyber-bats inside his body, regurgitating them from his mouth and sending them on missions as far away as the other side of the planet. The bats act as roving siphons, draining energy from Transformers, machines, and even humans into themselves and then returning to Galvatron, who swallows them and gains their collective stolen power. When attached to a human, the bats overrule all thoughts and turn their victims into Galvatron's slaves. It makes sense for Galvatron to have such a weapon: the belief in goodness, as practiced by human children, is the single most powerful energy source in the universe.

When [[Optimus Prime]] uses the [[Matrix Blade]] to destroy Galvatron's lance weapon, the resulting explosion (and apparent release of Galvatron's absorbed energies) is enough to defeat the villain. [[Megatron]] arrives on Earth in search of [[Fortress Maximus]]. He abducts [[Dr. Onishi]], an energy expert who has discovered underground energy anomalies that reveal Maximus' initial location. Onishi is kept unconscious and his brain is scanned by psycho-probes; he proves surprisingly resistant to this technique, and Megatron wastes some time tracking down apparent clues that had really just been strong but meaningless memories in Onishi's psyche. For one thing, he REALLY liked vintage trains.

While acquiring and assembling the items necessary in order to locate Fortress Maximus' commanding entity [[Cerebros]], Megatron comes into contact with the Orb of Sigma, an extremely powerful ancient Autobot relic. Exposure to the Orb's energies transforms Megatron into [[Galvatron]]. The changes seem to be more than armor-deep: Galvatron proclaims that Megatron died and he himself to be an entirely new person. His new powers include the ability to cause volcanic eruptions, paralyze other Transformers, and mentally reprogram his Decepticon minions. He is also revealed to have zillions of tiny cyber-bats inside his body, regurgitating them from his mouth and sending them on missions as far away as the other side of the planet. The bats act as roving siphons, draining energy from Transformers, machines, and even humans into themselves and then returning to Galvatron, who swallows them and gains their collective stolen power. When attached to a human, the bats overrule all thoughts and turn their victims into Galvatron's slaves. It makes sense for Galvatron to have such a weapon: the belief in goodness, as practiced by human children, is the single most powerful energy source in the universe.

The U-Haul Robot was forced to participate in gladiatorial games for the Quintessons' amusement, and wielded a spiked ball-and-chain weapon and a tire-shaped shield during this time. He was once defeated in battle by the "[[Powerful Robot]]" - who attacked their Quintesson masters when their match was over, only to be destroyed himself.

The U-Haul Robot rose to prominence as the Autobot-Decepticon conflict escalated, becoming [[Matrix-bearer]] at some point. During these battles, he is known to have bumped a green robot off an elevated point with his vehicle mode and punched a pink robot in the stomach.

Some time after the Decepticons had acquired the secrets to transformation, the U-Haul Robot was killed by [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]]. As he died, he passed the Matrix to [[Alpha Trion (G1)|Alpha Trion]], who would later give it to [[Orion Pax]].
