'''Superdeformers''' was a webcomic written, drawn and created by [[Matt Nelson]]. Though a fan-production, certain strips were published by [[3H Productions]] in their various ''Transformers'' publications, thus making ''those'' strips "official" in some capacity. The comic featured cute, "[[Super deformed]]" versions of classic ''Transformers'' characters from across different franchises engaging in humorous activities.

Unlike similar webcomics, such as [[Lil Formers]], Superdeformers stood apart by utilizing parody names for characters and staples of the ''Transformers'' franchise ([[Hot Rod (G1)|Hot Rod]] being known as "Hot Bod", the [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]] being known as the "MacGuffix", the Autobots are renamed as "Autobahns" and the home planet of the Transformers is referred to as "Fibertron" instead of "Cybertron", etc).

For reasons unknown, Nelson cancelled the strip in 2002 and shut the site down. His strips have since been archived on his DeviantArt page, though all guest strips have been lost to the internet ether.

'''''EDIT:''''' The reason behind his site being shut down, is that during the period when the Armada toyline and animated series were starting production, a Cease-and-Desist letter was issued by Hasbro Inc. to the webcomic artist, citing that some copyright infringement had occurred in the Superdeformers strip. Since then, most of his strips were either hosted in Transformers fansites, as well as archived in a certain TFW2005 forum thread. To avoid further complaints from Hasbro Inc., he had to remove his earlier strips, and eventually shut down the Superdeformers website.
