:We may want to rethink that policy...seriously, why do the distributors hate American Transfans? -- SFH 23:05, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
::Might weaken a bit in that case. We've got a fair number of European users that could double-check the work. The problem wasn't that Dubai got it before anyone so much as that Dubai got it and nearly none of us could verify if the rumors from the Dubai leak were accurate or not because most of the English speakers who had seen it didn't have sound or didn't have complete transcripts. Makes it hellishly hard to write an article that's up to our standards, and certainly didn't help that most folks acting on the leaks were only focused on dropping spoilers not coherent article writing. I don't think distributors hate American venues. Both Cartoon Network and the moose have been putting out an episode a week pretty much like they're supposed to. :::'tis true. Once it airs in the UK, the original, as-intended english-language version of the episode will be as accessible to the United States as any of the past Canadian broadcasts have been (by which I mean, "It'll be online within the blink of a gnat's sphincter."), which, hey, is more than "Black Friday" has going for it. That's just not the case with the Dubai-broadcast episodes. I think if they had aired there, in English, and been uploaded, and everyone had watched them, then we wouldn't really have had such an issue about making articles for them, but since all there is to go on is photos, quick summaries, translations that can't tell us whether or not the dub reflects the intent of the English version and nothing but a desire to go "OMG SPOILER", rather than actually contribute significantly... well, y'know. - Chris McFeely 23:14, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
What's important here is that it has aired in a major English-speaking market, thus making the information easily verifiable by a large portion of the wiki's users, keeping the articles factual and accurate. ==Autoguns "error"==
Frankly, I don't think this is an error. he does indeed have reason to want to eliminate Bee. It's not enough to have Bee simply be suspiscious of Wasp. Especially since Bee can't prove anything. There was never really the chance to "prove" Wasp was a spy until the locker inspection. Having someone know that there is a traitor among them is a risk to the real spy's mission no matter WHO that someone thinks it is. It risks the word spreading and wider, more competent investigation. Encouraging Bee to focus on Wasp was only buying time... and the training exercise provided the opportunity to cut off any potential "spy" investigation by eliminating the one who knows something is up. --M Sipher 16:28, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
It's not their fault others have gone beyond that.--RosicrucianTalk 23:08, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Considering this is an English-language wiki, why not allow episode info to be posted if it has aired in a country where English is the official language (or at least one of them)? I'm pretty sure the UK counts, with the language being called English and all. :Hi, just a friendly U.S. based user here to tell you HOW ****ING PISSED OFF I AM THAT I GO TO MY FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD WIKI READY TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOME ARTICLES ONLY TO FIND CHARACTER SPOILERS ON THE MAIN PAGE VIA THE LATEST ACTIVITY SECTION. Has this episode been aired in the Americas? Have we changed our policy here? In any case I'll be leaving for a week, I have been avoiding pretty much every source of TF info besides this wiki since the Dubai incident spoiled so much of the season finale. I thought this wiki took a firm stance on spoilers, and I was safe as long as I kept up with The Moose. Now this. ****. (Undecided) 20:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

::I can understand your rage, but the policy was more of an "English-language only" thing, rather than "America only." The Dubai stuff was unverifiable foreign dubs (worsened by the frustrating ambivalence of new sites on the matter). This episode aired in the UK, in it's original intentnded English language, and is already online for downloading - which makes it precisely as available as the Canadaian broadcasts, and totally viable for inclusion. - Chris McFeely 20:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
:::Agreed. What's important here is that it has aired in a major English-speaking market, thus making the information easily verifiable by a large portion of the wiki's users, keeping the articles factual and accurate. If it were anybody but McFeely busting out UK spoilers I'd be skeptical, but the guy's an admin and historically one of the best ones regarding how sensitive we need to be towards spoilers.--RosicrucianTalk 20:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
