Chase was part of a team of Rescue Bots drifting through space when their spaceship received a transmission from [[Optimus Prime (RB)|Optimus Prime]] and landed on [[Earth]]. After dropping the bombshell that [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] was no more, Optimus assigned the team to [[Griffin Island]] to work with the Burns family. The four Rescue Bots were presented to the public by [[Charlie Burns|Chief Burns]] at a ceremony, after which Burns drove Chase to the [[Griffin Rock Natural History Museum|museum]] where a fire had broken out, and began clearing people from the area. Out of all of the Rescue Bots, Chase seemed to settle into his new role the easiest, though when [[Cody Burns]] discovered their secret, he was still reluctant to share information.
