'''Hirofumi Ichikawa''' is a noted Japanese Transformers fan who has made the jump to working on the brand in an official capacity for [[Takara]].

As a fan, he wrote numerous fan-comics and magazines (called ''doujinshi'' in Japan), mainly focusing on introducing Japanese fans to the Hasbro/American version of Transformers and the concepts and characters within. Among them was a very indignant magazine decrying the "funny" dub of [[Beast Wars]] that was presented in Japan that had removed much of the "serious sci-fi" edge that had made the show immensely popular with the English-speaking fanbase. But perhaps his most well known pre-official work is ''Transformers Chronicles'', a sort of "bridge" story for his take on the lead-up to [[Generation 2]]. This book was translated to English, but has long since sold through its short run.

Ichikawa has a definite preference for the Western take of Transformers, enjoying its more sci-fi-oriented and older-aimed feel, though he eschews the more metaphysical/mystical aspects of the fiction, especially [[Primus]].

=Writer/Illustrator=
Ichikawa has penned several pieces of Transformers fiction for Takara, including the entirety of the DVD-pack-in comic [[Linkage_(comic)|Linkage]] that came with the ''Micron Legend'' (the Japanese name for [[Armada]]) DVDs, doing both the script and artwork. He also writes the bios for almost all of the [[e-hobby]] exclusive toys like [[Sunstorm_(G1)|Sunstorm]], [[Road Rage_(G1)|Road Rage]] and [[Pepsi Convoy]], as well as the entirety of the regular [[Alternators|Binaltech]] fiction. (He had no input on the [[Binaltech Asterisk]] or [[KissPlay]] fictions, however.) He also has done many of the box-front illustrations for [[Generation 1]] toy reissues, among them [[Tracks (G1)|Tracks]] and [[Smokescreen (G1)|Smokescreen]], which were used on the [[Hasbro]] reissues of those toys as well.

With the release of the "Beast Wars Reborn" anniversary set, Ichikawa is both writing and illustrating a special story to accompany it, published in ''Figure King'' magazine.

Ichikawa's art style is ''heavily'' toy-based; his Transformers almost always have the toy's proportions and detailing down exactly (not approximations or "influenced" altered cartoon models), the only changes made are there to make them more "realistic" by adding in joints for motion that the toys may lack. These joints are always very realistic in terms of mechanical detailing of the pistons and rotating joints neccessary for real-life machines, similar to the mechanical detailing artist [[EJ Su]] employs. His style can best be summed up as "if the toys were real robots". It's worth noting that Ichikawa was drawing toy-based artwork long before it got "popular" with the explosion of [[Dreamwave]] onto the fandom.

Paradron was a lost Autobot colony accessible through a black-hole. It was discovered when [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] and [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] fled through the hole from the Aerialbots. Upon arriving, the Decepticons found that the Autobots which inhabited the planet were complete pacifists of the worst sort, and easily conquered them.

Enslaved by the Decepticons, a handful of Paradron's Autobots, led by [[Sandstorm (G1)|Sandstorm]], contacted Cybertron looking for help. The Autobots, under the command of [[Rodimus Prime (G1)|Rodimus Prime]], sought to liberate the planet, but found it impossible to retake. Rather than risk such an energy-rich planet falling into the hands of the Decepticons, the planet was evacuated and [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] detonated its [[energon]] core, destroying it.

The survivors of Paradron were relocated to Cybertron, where Rodimus Prime hoped that they would learn that their freedoms had to be defended in order to be kept.

Where his teammates are quite serious-minded, '''Servo''' is a happy-go-lucky sort. He's a bit of a doof and occasionally oblivious to what's going on around him, but his technical skills are unquestionable. His cheerful outlook keeps his teammates from ever getting too down, even if he does occasionally do some pretty stupid things.

Servo and his teammates escaped from the crashing ''[[Exodus]]'' in an escape pod that landed in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Washintgton. They lay dormant for centuries until the Mini-Cons were reactivated due to the actions of [[Rad White]] and [[Carlos Lopez]]. Upon reactivation, the trio crawled onto the shore and took new alternate forms suited to the environment. They were suddenly pursued by a pair of [[Fixer Bug]]s and escaped into a parking garage. Servo used his scanning ability to prepare a car for conversion into a Turbo Cannon, which was used to destroy their pursuers. However, the car's owner, [[Stella Holley]], saw all this.

Servo is a [[redeco]] of the Armada [[Street Speed Mini-Con Team]] member [[Spiral (UT)|Spiral]], transforming into a Mercedes C-class luxury car. He was only available with his teammates Flat-Out and Redline with the first volume of the ''Micron Legend'' DVD series in Japan, the only volume to contain more than a single Mini-Con.

The same mold is used by [[Skid-Z (UT)|Skid-Z]], while a [[retool]]ed version of the mold is used by [[Jack (UT) (Cybertron)|Jack]]. The mold was slated to be released as [[Clocker (UT) (Mini-Con)|Clocker]] in [[Energon (franchise)|Energon]], but was ultimately cancelled.

Kingbolt was among the many Mini-Cons whose [[Mini-Con storage panel|storage panels]] were scattered across the globe when the ''[[Exodus]]'' went down. He was summoned from his panel by his teammates [[Impulsor_(UT)|Impulsor]] and [[Quench_(UT)|Quench]] after they were freed from their panels by [[Stella Holley]]. With a mighty flying kick, Kingbolt freed the captured [[Twirl_(UT)|Twirl]] from the monster [[Ravenus_(UT)|Ravenus]], but held off on destroying him with his cannon mode when Twirl revealed the creature was in fact a horribly mutated [[Autobot]].

After the battle, Kingbolt spoke to the gathered Mini-Cons on Earth and encouraged them to join with the Autobots and return to [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]] to face their creator, [[Unicron]]. The Hazard Team Powerlinxed to the powerful [[Overload_(UT)|Overload]] during the battle. It is unknown how they fared in the battle, but it is assumed they survived and continued to be a strong presence in Mini-Con politics.

Kingbolt was available only with volume 10 of the ''Micron Legend'' (the Japanese name for [[Armada]]) DVD series. He is a redeco of the Armada [[Prowl_(UT)_(Mini-Con)|Prowl]] toy, transforming into both a Cybertronic police car and a pistol that can be held by most larger [[Unicron Trilogy]] toys. Like most Mini-Cons, he has a Powerlinx socket that lets him attach to any Transformer toy with a compatible plug.

He uses the same mold as [[Checkpoint_(UT)_(Mini-Con)|Checkpoint]], [[Groove_(UT)|Groove]], and [[Quasar_(UT)|Quasar]].

Kingbolt's coloration and character is heavily inspired by the [[Takara]] [[Brave]] series toys, most notably Exkaiser.

'''Ravenus''' was an Autobot who succumbed to addiction to [[Mini-Con]] [[Powerlinx]] energy. Captured by agents of [[Unicron]], he was further warped and mutated, his mind decayed, until he was little more than a slavering beast that Unicron's minions used as a tool.

Even before he was corrupted, it seems Ravenus had little in the way of brainpower.

Ravenus' Powerlinx command was greatly enhanced, so that it triggered the servility programs within any Mini-Con within earshot, forcing them against their will to Powerlinx with him. He carried the [[Doomstone]] inside him, and the powerful dark energies of that gem would be channeled through the mental link formed by a Powerlinx into the Mini-Cons' [[Linkage_(dimension)|Linkage]] soul-dimension, destroying it, and with it, the Mini-Cons' minds and free wills. However, he was stopped by the newly-upgraded Mini-Cons [[Redline_(UT)|Redline]] and [[Kingbolt_(UT)|Kingbolt]], and the Doomstone was safely extracted from him. He would have been destroyed, but [[Twirl_(UT)|Twirl]], the Mini-Con he had captured, had found out through the Powerlinx that he was an [[Autobot]] under that warped exterior and begged her friends to help him. The Mini-Cons used their new powers to reverse the mutations and return Ravenus to his original form.

When the Mini-Cons of Earth rejoined the Autobot forces on their way to [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]], Ravenus went with them, and fought against the hordes of Unicron drones in order to atone for his time as one of the Chaos-Bringer's minions. Even though Twirl underwent the upgrade that broke the servility program bonds, she seemed to remain close to Ravenus, and the two fought side-by-side.

Ravenus' fate after the battle with Unicron is unknown.

=Toys=
No toy of Ravenus was ever produced, though both of his forms were based on existing toys. His "mutant" form uses the [[Armada]] [[Terrorsaur_(UT)|Terrorsaur]] toy as a model, in varying shades of black, deep green and tan. His original Autobot form is based on the [[Diaclone]] coloration of the toy that would become [[Generation 1]] [[Swoop_(G1)|Swoop]], following the Armada cartoon's tradition of using character models from previous series as extras.

Linkage author/illustrator [[Hirofumi Ichikawa]] had proposed that Takara make a Ravenus toy as a special mail-away premium, perhaps with proof-of-purchase of the entire Micron Legend DVD series, but the proposal never went beyond that stage.

(It is worth noting that according to Mr. Ichikawa, Ravenus is ''not'' intended to be an "alternate" UT incarnation of G1 Swoop. It is also highly unlikely he is related to the [[Energon_(franchise)|Energon]] character [[Swoop_(UT)|Swoop]], as even before he was mutated, his name was "Ravenus" and continues to be so even after he is restored to his original form.)

Despite this, she is a valued member of the Team, even though [[Falcia_(UT)|Falcia]] constantly cuts her down verbally. Twirl takes it all in stride, as she knows deep down Falcia cares about her. Her weapon mode is incredibly powerful; it's possible the main reason she's on the team is simply so she doesn't fall into [[Decepticon]] hands.

When Falcia reactivated on Earth and found [[Servo_(UT)|Servo]], she followed him to the [[Super Stunt Team]]'s new base and forcibly removed Twirl's panel from Redline. When she left to rejoin her teammate [[Combusta_(UT)|Combusta]], she was attacked by the [[Speed Chaser Team]] in [[Magnawing]] mode, and Twirl's panel was damaged.

Twirl would have died there, but the Mini-Cons developed a plan to save her. They quickly put together a machine that would take energy from the [[spark frame]]s of Redline and Falcia to create a new body for Twirl while the two sent their consciousnesses into the [[Linkage_(dimension)|Linkage]] to retrieve Twirl's mind before it could diffuse and be lost forever. The plan was a success, and Twirl returned to full functionality.

The Speed Chaser team and [[Aqua Raider Team]] attacked to stop them, bringing with them the mutated [[Bulk]] Ravenus. Twirl was incapable of resisting Ravenus' enhanced [[Powerlinx]] command and linked with the monster against her will. During the link, she discovered Ravenus' true nature as an Autobot and begged the other Mini-Cons to spare his life after she was released from him by [[Kingbolt_(UT)|Kingbolt]].

After undergoing the Master Key upgrade herself, Twirl went to [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]] with all of the other Mini-Cons to fight their creator, [[Unicron]]. One year after the battle, she returned to Earth and helped form an independent Mini-Con city.

'''Twirl''' is the youngest and least serious member of the [[Sonic Assault Team]]. To many, she is a flighty, featherbrained ditz who is more interested in dancing and interior design than anything else. They are so right. To those who can understand Mini-Con speak, she has a chirpy, airheaded manner. Think Reese Witherspoon in ''Legally Blonde''.

Despite this, she is a valued member of the Team, even though [[Falcia_(UT)|Falcia]] constantly cuts her down verbally. Twirl takes it all in stride, as she knows deep down Falcia cares about her. She's also formed a bond with the Autobot [[Ravenus_(UT)|Ravenus]]. Her weapon mode is incredibly powerful; it's possible the main reason she's on the team is simply so she doesn't fall into [[Decepticon]] hands.

Falcia is ''not'' Twirl's mother, no matter what Twirl thinks. Both Falcia and [[Redline_(UT)|Redline]] flatly and vehemently deny any claim of parentage. Falcia gets rather violent at the suggestion.

Twirl's [[Mini-Con storage panel]] was one of several held within Redline's internal compartment for safekeeping when the ''[[Exodus]]'' went down. When Falcia reactivated on Earth and found [[Servo_(UT)|Servo]], she followed him to the [[Super Stunt Team]]'s new base and forcibly removed Twirl's panel from Redline. When she left to rejoin her teammate [[Combusta_(UT)|Combusta]], she was attacked by the [[Speed Chaser Team]] in [[Magnawing]] mode, and Twirl's panel was damaged.

Twirl would have died there, but the Mini-Cons developed a plan to save her. They quickly put together a machine that would take energy from the [[spark frame]]s of Redline and Falcia to craete a new body for Twirl, while the two sent their conciousnesses into the [[Linkage_(dimension)|Linkage]] to retrieve Twirl's mind before it could diffuse and be lost forever. The plan was a success and Twirl returned to full functionality.

Twirl and the other Mini-Cons set up machinery on one of the Hawaiian islands so Redline and Falcia could retrieve the [[Master Key]] and upgrade all Mini-Cons, freeing them from their servility programs and power-locks. The Speed Chaser team and [[Aqua Raider Team]] attacked to stop them, bringing with them the mutated [[Bulk]] Ravenus. Twirl was incapable of resisting Ravenus' enhanced [[Powerlinx]] command, and linked with the monster against her will. During the link, she discovered Ravenus' true nature as an Autobot and begged the other Mini-Cons to spare his life after she was released from him by [[Kingbolt_(UT)|Kingbolt]].

After undergoing the Master Key upgrade herself, Twirl went to [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]] with all of the other Mini-Cons to fight their creator [[Unicron]]. One year after the battle, she returned to Earth and helped form an independant Mini-Con city.

Stella Holley is a 26-year-old employee of a paperware manufacturer in or around Seattle, Washington. Like most humans, she is drawn into the Transformers' war by coincidence, but unlike most she does not expressly ally herself with or against the [[Autobot|Autobots]]. Instead, she does what she can to help the [[Mini-Cons]] establish a home on Earth, away from the Autobot-[[Decepticon]] war, despite any dangers put in her path. She can understand the Mini-Cons' standard binary language thanks to a mental link of the sort formed when a Mini-Con bonds with a "[[Bulk]]".

She mentions having a cheerleader outfit, though we never see it. ''Damn''.

==Micron Legends: Linkage==

Stella first encountered the Transformers as she entered her company's parking garage after work. The [[Super Stunt Team]] of [[Redline_(UT)|Redline]], [[Flat-Out_(UT)|Flat-Out]] and [[Servo_(UT)|Servo]] had just turned her car into a turbo cannon via [[Powerlinx]] in order to destroy a pair of pursuing [[Fixer Bug|Fixer Bugs]]. After Redline formed a mental link with her and explained their plight, she hid the Mini-Cons in her home and helped them in their plans to build a Mini-Con haven on Earth.

She accompanied the Team and the newly-awakened [[Rollbar_(UT)|Rollbar]] to the Deccan Plateau in India, where a shuttle from [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]] had landed. Stella was to act as the interpreter for the Mini-Cons to negotiate for technology from the shuttle, should the shuttle pilot be an Autobot. (In the event it was a Decepticon, they had jury-rigged a portable warp-gate small enough for only their use to escape through.) When the [[Speed Chaser Team]] of [[Unicron]]-aligned Mini-Cons attacked, Stella managed to defend a mode-locked and upended Servo from a Fixer Bug, but it was the intervention of [[Scavenger_(UT)|Scavenger]] that saved Stella and the Super Stunt Mini-Cons in the end. Stella talked with Scavenger, and he let the Mini-Cons have his ship on the grounds that they forget they ever saw him. However, she began to suffer the effects of heatstroke shortly after, and the Team quickly got her home with their new shuttle.

After the [[Sonic Assault Team]] joined up with Redline and crew, Stella went with the Mini-Cons to one of the Hawaiian Islands, where Redline set up a device that would unlock the [[Master Key]] program that would give all Mini-Cons unrestricted access to a vast power well, enabling them to break their programming blocks and Powerlinx-activated servility programs. Redline entrusted Stella with the protection of the last two [[Mini-Con storage panel]]s he kept inside him while he underwent the upgrade process. When the monstrous [[Ravenus_(UT)|Ravenus]] ensnared Servo and [[Twirl_(UT)|Twirl]], Stella fought back to save them in a battle mech made from her car, transformed by Powerlinx energy provided by Flat-Out and [[Falcia_(UT)|Falcia]]. She was able to knock Servo free from his link-port, but Ravenus escaped with Twirl. Realizing they needed more backup, Stella released the two Mini-Cons [[Impulsor_(UT)|Impulsor]] and [[Quench_(UT)|Quench]] from the storage panels, and the two called their team leader, [[Kingbolt_(UT)|Kingbolt]], in to assist.

With Ravenus restored to his original, uncorrupted Autobot state and the [[Doomstone]] he held within him contained, all of the "free" Mini-Cons that had awakened when Redline activated the upgrade gathered on the island in order to return to Cybertron with the Autobots so they could protect the planet from Unicron. After a tearful goodbye, Stella returned to her job, taking up drawing as a hobby and a way of remembering her friends. A year after the Mini-Cons left, her red hair spontaneously began to turn platinum blonde--a sign from her friends they had returned, as Stella had made a passing remark to them about wishing she could change her hair color.

She looks totally better as a redhead, but hey.

It is assumed that she and her Mini-con friends reunited shortly thereafter at the new Mini-Con city on Earth that Redline and his friends created.

She has a deep respect for her teammate [[Combusta_(UT)|Combusta]], and even though her other teammate [[Twirl_(UT)|Twirl]] is a constant target of verbal jabs and the occasional threat of violence, Falcia has gone to great lengths and extreme peril to save her life.

To those who can understand the Mini-Cons' speech, Falcia speaks with an incredibly thick accent similar to Italian. She is ''not'' Twirl's mother in any way, and she will kick you in the junction box for even suggesting it.

===Micron Legends: Linkage Mini-Comics===
Falcia's panel was one of the countless that fell from the [[Exodus]] during its crash onto Earth, but one of the few to be activated on its own without human or Bulk interferance. After reuinting with her teammate Combusta, she ran across [[Servo_(UT)|Servo]], who told her about the [[Super Stunt Team]]'s new base inside the Autobot shuttle they had acquired from [[Scavenger_(UT)|Scavenger]]. Falcia stepped in and confronted Redline, and forcibly opened his storage compartment to get the [[Mini-Con storage panel]] containing her teammate Twirl. She made her escape, but was attacked by the [[Speed Chaser Team]] in [[Magnawing]] mode. Though Combusta's arrival drove off the attackers, Twirl's panel was damaged in the battle.

Falcia and Redline began a dangerous play to save Twirl's life; combining energies from their [[spark frame]]s to create a new body for Twirl, while their minds entered the [[Linkage (dimension)|Linkage]] to retreive Twirl's soul before it could diffuse into the soul-dimension and be lost forever. While in the Linkage, the two saw that the Mini-Cons' creator [[Unicron]] was still wathcing them, even though he was largely dormant and unable to touch the Linkage directly. After Twirl was revived, the [[Sonic Assault Team]] passed up the chance to join with the Autobots to help Redline find a way to unlock the [[Master Key]] and make all Mini-Cons truly free.

She joined the others at the Hawaiian islands to unlock the Master Key. When they were attacked by [[Ravenus_(UT)|Ravenus]], she and [[Flat-Out_(UT)|Flat-Out]] Powerlinxed with Stella's car, transforming it into a fighting mech. In this form they managed to dislodge Servo from Ravenus, but the creature escaped with Twirl. Falcia underwent the upgrade and gave chase, and helped contain the mutant Autobot once Twirl was free.

She joined the other Mini-Cons in their return to [[Cybertron_(planet)|Cybertron]] and fought against their creator Unicron. One year later, she returned to Earth with the Super stunt Team and other Mini-Cons, forming a safe city there.

===Armada===
Falcia's toy is a [[redeco]] of the [[Air Military Mini-Con Team]] member [[Terradive_(UT)_(Mini-Con)|Terradive]], and was available only with the fifth ''Micron Legend'' DVD in Japan. She transforms into a stealth fighter similar to a "Blackbird", and has a third triple-claw weapon mode that can be used by most larger UT toys.

She uses the same mold as [[Blitz_(UT)|Blitz]], [[Mugen_(UT)|Mugen]] and [[Shockwave_(UT)|Shockwave]].
