Though he does his duty supporting the colossal machine to the best of his ability, he appears to be more level-headed than his partner. He typically rides in a special compartment inside Menasor's chest, coming out only to do certain specialized jobs, or to stop Menasor from doing something very stupid.

Basically, his main job is to act as Menasor's Jiminy Cricket. Don't say that to either of their faces, though.

So frustrating that when he was approached by the Decepticons, he signed up! Only time will tell if Mudflap's heart is really with the Decepticon cause.

Mudflap was an old friend and student of the aging Autobot soldier [[Landmine (Energon)|Landmine]], who practically raised him. {{storylink|Revelation (episode)|Revelation}} In 2030 he was one of many [[Autobot]]s forced by the [[Unicron Singularity]] to take refuge on Earth. He found it somewhat frustrating, being vexed by human behavior, such as putting up traffic lights and then not stopping for them, and the resulting crashes.

One day, while he was driving through the desert outside a city after being agitated by such an incident, Mudflap was approached by the Decepticons [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]] and [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]]. When Thundercracker opened fire, Mudflap transformed and fought back, summoning his new Cyber Key to deploy a blade from his crane arm. The battle continued until it looked like Thundercracker would win, at which point Starscream intervened.

Starscream told the confused Mudflap that the attack had simply been a test of his mettle, and he'd passed. He then lied to Mudflap that in this situation that both Autobots ''and'' Decepticons were trying to gain the [[Cyber Planet Key]]s to save the universe, the Decepticons merely trying to do so ''without'' caring about the humans. The puzzled Mudflap accepted Starscream's offer of Decepticon membership, at least for now, and became a turncoat. Thundercracker gave him a lift to the [[Fire dimension]]. {{Storylink|Race}}

The poor bugger found most of his time was spent training, and he would sometimes be deliberately left behind. {{storylink|Savage (episode)|Savage}} He eventually got to go to Earth with Starscream, trying to capture the Autobot's human allies (they failed) and having a brawl with Scattershot. {{storylink|Ice}} He was then part of a mission to capture the [[Cyber Planet Key]] of [[Jungle Planet]] {{storylink|Trust (Cybertron)|Cybertron}} and then got the illustrious honour of being trapped in a big ball by Starscream. {{storylink|Trap}}

Once out, he joined Megatron's all-out strike on Earth to capture that world's Cyber Planet Key and beat on Starscream. In the battle that ensued, Mudflap and Landmine found themselves facing each other; Landmine was horrified and appealed to his old friend to realise what he was doing. Mudflap, not wanting to fight the older mech, tried to get him to walk away and finally attacked in a panic. {{storylink|Revelation (episode)|Revelation}} With the two locked in combat, Landmine finally put down his protege with [[Cyber Key]] power and urged him again to reconsider his path. Mudflap went on to help Megatron in battle, briefly paused in his villainy when Landmine pointed out [[Cybertron Defense Team|an Autobot team]] was en route to Cybertron and further battling was just endangering their homeworld. He was withdrawn from Earth and made part of the team that pursued the [[Omega Lock]] across the [[space bridge]]. {{storylink|United}} There, he got to see [[burning justice|completely inexplicable stuff]], Megatron jumping into a time/space vortex, and [[Ransack (Cybertron)|Ransack]] and [[Crumplezone (Cybertron)|Crumplezone]] quite happily abandoning their leader. However, in his darkest hour, Landslide came to him again and offered him a chance to rejoin the Autobots. While Mudflap attacked in an angry attempt to be left alone, Landslide refused to fight back: and when he told Mudflap he just wanted his friend back, the troubled Transformer collapsed to his knees in tears, apologizing for everything he has done. Landmine told Mudflap that the most important thing was to forgive ''himself'', and he and a group of civilian Autobots welcomed Mudflap back into their ranks. {{storylink|Family}}

When the black hole's growth began to devastate Earth, Mudflap was one of the hundreds of Autobots who began saving humans, noting it was great to be doing something useful for once. : Mudflap transforms into a blue crane truck. The toy features two Cyber Key gimmicks, but unfortunately, they both suffer from design flaws. Inserting his key into the side of his cab flips out a firing missile launcher, which works fine in truck mode; in robot mode, however, it is slung under his right arm, and the spring-loaded hinge that flips it out is not strong enough to hold it up, meaning that it dangles loosely underneath his forearm. His second gimmick is his ridiculously colossal saw-blade - first, his crane arm is manually extended, opening up the Cyber Key slot in its side, and inserting the key then flips out the translucent green blade. When fully extended, the blade and crane are about three times the height of his body. These values sometimes collide with Megatron's ultimately selfish goals, and Demolishor finds himself struggling to reconcile the two.

Following the end of the [[Unicron Battles]], Megatron's death saw the alliance between the Decepticons and Autobots persist. With the establishment of [[Cybertron City (city)|Cybertron Cities]] to mine [[Energon (Energon)|energon]] on Earth, Demolishor was assigned to [[Ocean City]], where he guarded the city's main gate. Despite his frequent complaints and arguments with the humans and Autobots who lived in the city, Demolishor developed something of a friendship with his new allies and grew into his role. Of particular note was his bickering relationship with the inexperienced [[Ironhide (Energon)|Ironhide]], who didn't trust him for being a Decepticon, and whom he ridiculed in return for being a greenhorn. {{storylink|Cybertron City (episode)|Cybertron City}}

In the year 2020, when the alien being [[Alpha Quintesson]] created the [[Terrorcon (Energon)|Terrorcons]] to steal energon for him, he armed their leader, [[Scorponok (Energon)|Scorponok]], with a sword forged from Megatron's [[spark]]. During a battle at [[Plains City]], the sword was knocked aside and landed in the ground in front of Demolishor, but he could not bring himself to take hold of the weapon. Demolishor's dilemma continued when Megatron returned to life and laid siege to Ocean City. {{storylink|Megatron Resurrected|Megatron Resurrected}} When Megatron appeared before him, Demolishor trained his guns on him, struggling to make a decision as Megatron continually taunted him. Eventually, Demolishor caved in and rejoined the Decepticons, departing with Megatron for his headquarters within the inactive corpse of [[Unicron]]. Not longer thereafter, Demolishor participated in a Decepticon attack on the Autobot ship the ''[[Miranda II]]'', which activated its personal [[energon grid]] defense system during the battle. Megatron was caught directly in the path of the grid, galvanizing Demolishor into making a final, fateful decision: He pushed his leader out of the way and took the force of the grid's blast himself. Oddly, Demolishor blamed Optimus for what happened to him and exploded. Nobody seemed to mourn the loss. A former computer-game programmer, '''Scattorshot''' quickly became [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]]'s go-to bot for computer work. But the nervy robot not only doesn't think he's cut out for battle, but believes the mere fact that he's done as well as he has ''in'' battle is just a big setup. He's convinced his good luck will run out on him, and run out at the worst possible moment.

As such, Scattorshot has developed a thing about guns. He likes altmodes with a ''lot'' of them. Maybe with enough firepower, he can prolong that whole karma thing. His companions find him to be a bit pessimistic, but far from hopeless... he may make a great soldier someday if he can just get over that nervousness.

Since gaining a new body and joining the [[Cybertron Defense Team]], Scattorshot has gained more confidence and lost some of his pessimism, now that he has two brothers in arms watching his back. That, and the fact his new body has enough weaponry for him to make his own 'luck'.

When Optimus Prime and Scattorshot arrived on [[Earth]], the latter scanned his vehicle mode off of a billboard advertising a war movie. To Prime's surprise, it was a conspicuous military half-track, and berated him for his choice of a disguise. Scattorshot sassed back that Prime's own vehicle mode of a gigantic fire truck armed with huge cannons sure is a good disguise. Then he pretended that Prime had disappeared for the moment, as he was so good at blending in. He finally laid out the advantages of a half-track, such as off-road, all-terrain capability, relatively high speed in difficult conditions and that nobody would ever think to give him a parking ticket.

Prime merely replied "Well... a fire truck is bigger." before quickly driving off. {{storylink|Inferno (episode)|Inferno}}

When [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] appeared inside the Autobot base, Scattorshot charged him but was quickly knocked away. Later he attempted to attack Megatron from behind but hit [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]] instead. With the Autobot defeat he accompanied Optimus Prime to [[Earth]]. {{storylink|Fallen (episode)|Fallen}} Once on Earth, Scattorshot showed the Autobots a hologram of their new base, but then changed it due to [[human]] criticism. During the building of the base, he noticed the Decepticons approaching. He then organized the Autobots and humans in the process of hiding the base. {{storylink|Haven}} From Earth he witnessed [[Red Alert (Armada)|Red Alert]]'s attempt to close the [[Unicron Singularity|black hole]] near [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. He then picked up an [[United States Air Force|Air Force]] communication locating [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]]. Optimus goes out to investigate first but when Megatron also shows up Scattorshot arrives as backup. {{storylink|Hidden}} In the search for the Omega Lock, Scattorshot believed they needed to gather information. During another Decepticon attack, he used [[Cyber Key]] Power to attack [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]].

Scattorshot told Bud that he couldn't travel into space, but was eventually convinced by [[Jolt (Cybertron)|Jolt]]. He then took Bud on the [[Space bridge]] up into the sky. Afterward he continued the tour by floating in space inside a giant bubble. A blast then knocked both him and Bud further into space. They were then hit by a satellite and knocked back into Earth's atmosphere. Beginning to burn up, they luckily entered a warp gate created by [[Vector Prime]] and ended up back at the base. {{storylink|Space}} During another encounter with the Decepticons, Scattorshot warned the Autobots that humans were approaching. {{storylink|Speed}} When an earthquake struck, Scattorshot got a fix on its epicenter under a nearby mountain. He then followed Optimus prime to help the humans while keeping a tab on the collapsing moutain remotely. When the Autobots decided to collapse the mountain safely, he blew open the mine shaft. After Optimus sucked up the underground water preventing collapse, he shot the interior of the mountain to finally collapse it. {{storylink|Collapse}}

Scattorshot wasn't enthused about the idea of needing to find the [[Omega Lock]] so he stayed at the base. He then received [[Jolt (Cybertron)|Jolt]]'s message for help in the [[Sahara Desert]]. {{storylink|Time (episode)|Time}} He continued to receive transmissions at base and got Red Alert's from [[Velocitron]]. When [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]] attacks, Scattorshot is one of the first to deploy against him, using [[Cyber Key]] power to fire grenades at the Decepticon. Thundercracker later returned and Scattorshot then used [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]]'s cannons to scare him off again. Afterward, Scattorshot received a transmission from an Autobot refugee that claimed to have found the lost seal of [[Atlantis]]. {{storylink|Search}} He located the signal as coming from the [[Bermuda Triangle]]. Once arriving at a nearby coast, he was afraid to go into the ocean, but once Optimus dived in he wasted no time following. Along with Optimus Prime and Landmine, he found he had trouble in the water until being taught how to swim by [[Bud Hansen|Bud]]. Once on the ocean floor he assisted Optimus in clearing away debris from the symbol. Once Megatron arrived he charged at the Decepticon leader but was easily knocked away. He came to the conclusion that Atlantis was Cybertronian ship and helped the Autobots search around Earth for it. Scattorshot watched Hot Shot's race from headquarters. He though he needed an oil change after Hot Shot and Prime's combined jumping stunt. {{storylink|Race}} He then watched the second race {{storylink|Detour (episode)|Detour}} and continued to monitor the Autobot teams on [[Velocitron]] and [[Jungle Planet (Cybertron)|Jungle Planet]]. {{storylink|Savage (episode)|Savage}} After the victorious Autobots returned from [[Velocitron]], Scattorshot was present when [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]] added the Cyber Planet Key to the [[Omega Lock]]. He then processed the data that began emanating from it, leading to a set of coordinates on Earth. {{storylink|Champion}} He then went out with the team toward the coordinates up by the north pole. He stated that he felt cold even before heading out. When the Decepticons arrived he slid across the ice and confronted Starscream [[Mudflap (Cybertron)|Mudflap]]. He transformed and drove directly into Mudflap's chest before getting hit by Starscream's water ball and freezing up. Mudflap then pummeled him while he was frozen until the other Autobots arrived. After thawing out he was welcomed to planet Earth by [[Lucy Suzuki]]. {{storylink|Ice}}

After leaving the arctic for some reason, he conversed with the Autobots about Jungle planet. He agreed with Jetfire that that kids should not be able to travel there. {{storylink|Honor}} When the situation on Jungle Planet heated up, Scattorshot appeared out of [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]]'s newly created space bridge and helped surround [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]]. {{storylink|Trust (Cybertron)|Trust}} Back on Earth, Scattorshot readied the equipment for the entry of the next Cyber Planet Key. He received energy readings going off the chart and was first to notice the Mini-Cons as they were being used as a medium for [[Primus]]. He then kept contact with the team of Autobots who went again to the north pole. {{storylink|Trap}} After Starscream unleashed his Decepticon army, Scattorshot watched as they flew over Earth from the base. He questioned [[Vector Prime]]'s idea of starting a battle with such a large enemy force, but eventually took off to join the battle. {{storylink|Invasion}}

Scattorshot was at the Autobot base when he found out that there were many [[Fandom|suspicious people]] on the internet. He later traveled via the space bridge away from Earth. While on the bridge, he shot at Starscream, but was defeated. {{storylink|Retreat}} Scattorshot was one of the initial Autobots to meet Colonel Franklin. Later, when Jetfire encountered Thunderblast, Scattorshot locked onto her until she disappeared behind camouflage. When the Autobot base's lights went out, he was the main worker to get them back on. Afterward he noticed Megatron opening a new warp gate on Earth. When the Decepticons invaded, he triple teamed Megatron with Hot Shot and Red Alert, but was critically damaged by Megatron's new Cyber Key weapon. {{storylink|Revelation (episode)|Revelation}} Scattorshot laid heavily damaged, but remained conscious while Vector Prime pulled him away from the battle. He kept thinking it was all over until he was transferred to a nearby military base. There the the base personell attempted to fix him with Coby's help. When the kids said they would never give up, the power of Primus came down from the sky and healed all three of the injured Autobots as well as powering them up. Scattorshot then took a new alternate mode and joined up with the rest of the Autobots who were still battling the Decepticons. When Hot Shot attacked Megatron, he decided to attack Scourge instead. {{storylink|Critical}}

Scattorshot assured the kids and the Mini-Cons that they would be able to hold down the fort at the Autobot base. He then continued battling Megatron and his forces. After Megatron retreated, he followed to aide Optimus Prime at the volcanic island. He focused his attacks on Scourge with the rest of the Cybertron Defense Team. Afterward he was sent to Cybertron as part of a team to slow down the black hole. He had Coby create a space bridge from the volcanic island to Cybertron for the journey. {{storylink|Assault}} On the way to Cybertron, the team encountered a meteor shower. Scattorshot blasted his way through, stating he would have the most points due to shooting the most obstacles. Upon return to Cybertron and finding it swarming with [[Scrapmetal (race)|Scrapmetal]], he attacked them, but was quickly dogpiled upon with [[Red Alert (Armada)|Red Alert]]. {{storylink|Starscream (episode)|Starscream}} He continued fighting off Scrapmetal, {{storylink|United}} until the rest of the Autobots arrived as backup. Scattorshot watched as Optimus Prime presented the Omega Lock then kept track of the status of Cybertron as it appeared to be falling apart. He drove via a spacebridge to the moon to finish watching Cybertron's transformation into [[Primus]]. {{storylink|Cybertron (episode)|Cybertron}} Afterward he set up a connection to talk to Primus. Later, when Red Alert was analyzing [[Jolt (Cybertron)|Jolt]]'s mind, Scattorshot was the first to notice Starscream approaching. He directed a volley toward the Decepticon and then fought against the Decepticon onslaught. {{storylink|Balance}}

Scattorshot joined Vector Prime to help track down the missing kids and Mini-Cons. He wondered why Coby was not using the communicator that had been provided to him. {{storylink|Darkness (episode)|Darkness}} He continued to use the Autobot base computers to scan for some trace of their missing allies. Once they finally pick up a signal, Scattorshot follows in a warp gate created by Vector Prime. They appear in space near the ''[[Atlantis]]'' only to see it warp away. {{storylink|Escape (episode)|Escape}}

Scattorshot broke the news to the other Autobots that [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]] has returned to Cybertron with a nice surprise: a [[Ogygia|spaceship]] they can travel to [[Gigantion]] in. {{storylink|Warp}} On board he ran a tracking program to find Bud, but the trail went cold. Instead, he found Gigantion. Upon landing, he deduced the air was breathable for the kids. Splitting up into groups, Scattorshot found himself transmitting from the ship and noticed sound eminating from underground. ==Synopsis==
Thousands of years ago, in what will become Egypt, a bunch of [[human]]s are building a pyramid. The start of a thunderstorm sends them fleeing into a stone archway—an entrance adorned by a [[Decepticon]] [[insignia]]. Not too long ago, the people had witnessed the actions of a great evil, and though it has gone, they fearfully await its return.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], in Megatron's quarters in [[Trypticon (Movie)|Trypticon]]. The Cybertronian leader lays vulnerable on the floor, until a mysterious voice tells him to "awaken."

Clocker, Warpath, and Signal Flare dig up the remains of dead Transformers under the watchful gaze of Optimus. When they ask what happened, Optimus explains about the earlier alien attack. Before he seeks out answers about who attacked them or why, though, he wants to help the attack's victims. He sets out to the temple at [[Simfur]], where Bumblebee and Cliffjumper wonder about what's going to happen next; Bumblebee feels something big is about to happen, but Cliffjumper reminds him that they're just sentries, and will probably be left out of it. Prowl arrives, and after scaring them into shape, asks them about the behavior of the [[AllSpark (Movie)|AllSpark]] during the battle. Jazz and Prowl accompany Optimus; Prowl notes that it looks like the aliens were trying to break in, and bets that they were after the AllSpark itself.

Megatron arises, guided by the mysterious voice, which explains it has used the last of its power to heal his grievous wound. His demands to see the voice's face, and the voice responds that it cannot do so, unless Megatron helps. Megatron demands to know why the [[Lord High Protector|Protector of Cybertron]] should follow its demands, and Megatron then sees that the voice is coming from the relic, which says it can take Megatron from being ''Protector'' of Cybertron to being its ''Lord''. It then fires a beam into his eyes, asking that he allow it to "expound."

Back on the battlefield, Optimus and Arcee find the body of one of the aliens. Unfortunately, it's already dead. Unable to glean any more information, Optimus goes to find Megatron, leaving Arcee and the others to take the remains to Ratchet. When he arrives, Megatron delivers a surprising proclamation: Cybertron is going to war! Optimus, while not able to fully understand, promptly states that his division, never meant for battle, will not be on the frontlines. He also points out that Megatron's team is supposed to defend, not attack. Megatron responds by slamming Optimus into a wall, and demanding once again that he assemble his team.

Ratchet analyzes the alien remains, discovering that their structure is actually similar to that of [[Transformer]]s; although they appear incapable of [[transformation]]. They have what could be [[spark]] cores. Signal Flare drops in to announce that Optimus has called a meeting, and they need to be there ''now''. Soon, Optimus stands before his fellow Autobots, and says that they should focus their efforts on helping the ruined city of [[Metrotitan (ROTF)|Metrotitan]]. He says that, when Megatron tells them to join in the counterattack, they should not follow him, as it goes against everything [[Autobot]]s stand for. He says that those who wish to fight may do so, but extends his thanks to those that would rather stay with him. He and the Autobots then travel to Trypticon.

There, Megatron delivers a similar speech, rallying his soldiers to battle. Until this situation ends, Megatron declares that he is control of Cybertron, and all soldiers are required to fight. Those unable to fight are to await orders. Ground forces will pick off evacuees while the fliers join him. After he finishes barking out orders, he leads his troops into space to attack the alien fleet in the [[Eshems Nebula]]. Reaching the enemy fleet, the Defense Force attacks. Dreadwing sends the drones to attack the alien flagship, but they are destroyed by the ship's primary weapon, resulting in the loss of half the Transformers attack forces. It matters little, as the Defense Force has superior maneuverability and weapons, and pretty soon, the kills start to rise. However, they cannot yet launch an attack on the flagship, as the primary weapon is still online. Starscream orders Blackout to launch a disruption wave at the ship. While they fight, Optimus remains with some of his own troops on the ground. He speaks to Prowl about Megatron's leadership, noting that there seems to be a divide in their ranks. Jazz replies that Megatron hasn't incorporated them into his army, instead giving them little more than sentry duty. When Prowl tells Optimus that includes guarding Megatron's quarters, Optimus asks for a favor.

Blackout disrupts the enemy ship's shields and communications; Megatron promptly moves in for the kill. He rips his way through the ship; as his "master" says, since they came for the AllSpark, he's coming for their lives, a fair trade in his mind. He finds and kills the ship's captain, then orders Starscream to destroy the ship altogether. He reveals to Starscream that passivity has weakened them, and that in the coming days, they will conquer the surrounding systems. He also reveals that he is allied with a powerful entity that will guide them in this endeavor.

And on Cybertron, Optimus, Jazz, and Prowl stand before the doors of Megatron's quarters...

==Synopsis==
Thousands of years ago, in what will become Egypt, a bunch of [[human]]s are building a pyramid. The start of a thunderstorm sends them fleeing into a stone archway—an entrance adorned by a [[Decepticon]] [[insignia]]. Not too long ago, the people had witnessed the actions of a great evil, and though it has gone, they fearfully await its return.

[[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], in Megatron's quarters in [[Trypticon (Movie)|Trypticon]]. The Cybertronian leader lays vulnerable on the floor, until a mysterious voice tells him to "awaken."

Clocker, Warpath, and Signal Flare dig up the remains of dead Transformers under the watchful gaze of Optimus. When they ask what happened, Optimus explains about the earlier alien attack. Before he seeks out answers about who attacked them or why, though, he wants to help the attack's victims. He sets out to the temple at [[Simfur]], where Bumblebee and Cliffjumper wonder about what's going to happen next; Bumblebee feels something big is about to happen, but Cliffjumper reminds him that they're just sentries, and will probably be left out of it. Prowl arrives, and after scaring them into shape, asks them about the behavior of the [[AllSpark (Movie)|AllSpark]] during the battle. Jazz and Prowl accompany Optimus; Prowl notes that it looks like the aliens were trying to break in, and bets that they were after the AllSpark itself.

Megatron arises, guided by the mysterious voice, which explains it has used the last of its power to heal his grievous wound. His demands to see the voice's face, and the voice responds that it cannot do so, unless Megatron helps. Megatron demands to know why the [[Lord High Protector|Protector of Cybertron]] should follow its demands, and Megatron then sees that the voice is coming from the relic, which says it can take Megatron from being ''Protector'' of Cybertron to being its ''Lord''. It then fires a beam into his eyes, asking that he allow it to "expound."

Back on the battlefield, Optimus and Arcee find the body of one of the aliens. Unfortunately, it's already dead. Unable to glean any more information, Optimus goes to find Megatron, leaving Arcee and the others to take the remains to Ratchet. When he arrives, Megatron delivers a surprising proclamation: Cybertron is going to war! Optimus, while not able to fully understand, promptly states that his division, never meant for battle, will not be on the frontlines. He also points out that Megatron's team is supposed to defend, not attack. Megatron responds by slamming Optimus into a wall, and demanding once again that he assemble his team.

Ratchet analyzes the alien remains, discovering that their structure is actually similar to that of [[Transformer]]s; although they appear incapable of [[transformation]]. They have what could be [[spark]] cores. Signal Flare drops in to announce that Optimus has called a meeting, and they need to be there ''now''. Soon, Optimus stands before his fellow Autobots, and says that they should focus their efforts on helping the ruined city of [[Metrotitan (ROTF)|Metrotitan]]. He says that, when Megatron tells them to join in the counterattack, they should not follow him, as it goes against everything [[Autobot]]s stand for. He says that those who wish to fight may do so, but extends his thanks to those that would rather stay with him. He and the Autobots then travel to Trypticon.

There, Megatron delivers a similar speech, rallying his soldiers to battle. Until this situation ends, Megatron declares that he is control of Cybertron, and all soldiers are required to fight. Those unable to fight are to await orders. Ground forces will pick off evacuees while the fliers join him. After he finishes barking out orders, he leads his troops into space to attack the alien fleet in the [[Eshems Nebula]]. Reaching the enemy fleet, the Defense Force attacks. Dreadwing sends the drones to attack the alien flagship, but they are destroyed by the ship's primary weapon, resulting in the loss of half the Transformers attack forces. It matters little, as the Defense Force has superior maneuverability and weapons, and pretty soon, the kills start to rise. However, they cannot yet launch an attack on the flagship, as the primary weapon is still online. Starscream orders Blackout to launch a disruption wave at the ship. While they fight, Optimus remains with some of his own troops on the ground. He speaks to Prowl about Megatron's leadership, noting that there seems to be a divide in their ranks. Jazz replies that Megatron hasn't incorporated them into his army, instead giving them little more than sentry duty. When Prowl tells Optimus that includes guarding Megatron's quarters, Optimus asks for a favor.

Blackout disrupts the enemy ship's shields and communications; Megatron promptly moves in for the kill. He rips his way through the ship; as his "master" says, since they came for the AllSpark, he's coming for their lives, a fair trade in his mind. He finds and kills the ship's captain, then orders Starscream to destroy the ship altogether. He reveals to Starscream that passivity has weakened them, and that in the coming days, they will conquer the surrounding systems. He also reveals that he is allied with a powerful entity that will guide them in this endeavor.

And on Cybertron, Optimus, Jazz, and Prowl stand before the doors of Megatron's quarters...
