Among the Thirteen, Solus Prime is the Maker. The arsenal of magnificent weaponry and icons wielded by the other original Transformers are her impressive handiwork, created by an icon of her own, the Forge of Solus Prime. She finds joy in creation, which is why she's closest to Nexus Prime, who revels in similar pursuits. Her design is regal and silver and black.

Her creations include:
*The Forge of Solus Prime (named after herself)
*The Star Saber
*The Requiem Blaster
*The Chimera Stone
*The Apex Armor
*The Infinite Combinatoric
*The Chaos Edge
Fiction
Exiles
Near the dawn of time, while the Thirteen were struggling with the threat of Unicron, Megatronus Prime commissioned Solus Prime to create a weapon of incredible destruction to use against the Chaos Bringer. Solus Prime had strong reservations, but after a long period of time managed to create the Requiem Blaster. She gathered the interested members of the Thirteen to witness a test of its powers, and leveled a mountain. She pointed out that power corrupts and worried that the existence of such a weapon could possibly lead to their own downfall. Ultimately, the Thirteen voted seven to six to keep the Requiem Blaster and not destroy it.

It was Solus Prime's sudden murder at the hands of the enraged Megatronus Prime that caused the first major schism in the Thirteen. After Megatronus Prime became The Fallen and was defeated by the remnants of the Thirteen, a tomb was fashioned for Solus Prime out of a meteor and set adrift in the stars, reachable only by a series of space bridges.

Countless years later, Optimus Prime came across Solus Prime's tomb while searching for a mystical artifact. A semi-sentient hologram of Solus Prime appeared and warned Optimus and his Autobots to leave. Solus Prime directed them towards a Space Bridge which would take them to the location of the lost Requiem Blaster.
According to legend, at the beginning of time, Unicron and Primus battled each other for eons, with neither side remaining victorious for long. Till, that is, Primus created the Thirteen. These Thirteen defeated Unicron and cast him into space. One Shall Rise, Part 1
Before the Great War, the Forge of Solus Prime was kept in the Vaults of Iacon, but was hidden on Earth to keep it out of the wrong hands. Millions of years later, it was discovered and retrieved by Megatron. Operation Bumblebee, Part 2 During the war, her Apex Armor was also sent off world, only to wind up in the hands of Starscream. Triangulation
:Wheeljack is an Autobot from the Aligned continuity family.

Wheeljack is one of the roughest Autobots around. As a former member of the Wreckers, he's seen plenty of action, and he's got the snarky one-liners to prove it. If there's anything he likes more than slicing up Decepticons with his swords or inventing new gadgets to slice Decepticons in different ways, it's hanging with his old buddy, Bulkhead (who calls him Jackie).

Wheeljack doubts Optimus Prime's leadership capabilities, believing he's more of a stuffy old figurehead than a warrior. Wheeljack also chafes under too much supervision. That's why he usually takes off shortly after he's arrived. He'd rather be on his own.

Fiction
Aligned novels
Wheeljack was a member of the Wreckers black ops. After the Great Exodus, the Autobots remaining on Cybertron encountered the inventor and engineer wandering outside Crystal City. They took him in, with Alpha Trion theorizing that he had escaped from Shockwave's facilities there. Wheeljack proceeded to equip the resistance with new gadgets and weaponry, but his true loyalty remained to science, rather than the Autobots. Transformers: Exodus

Eventually, Wheeljack, along with Ultra Magnus and Springer approached Alpha Trion to propose re-creating space bridge technology on a personal scale, and using the energies from the space bridge explosion to trace the locations of the vanished Ark and Nemesis. The project proceeded, and the inventor was able to find a way of opening a brief passageway through space-time, utilising the remaining energies of the Well of All Sparks and the damaged consciousness of Vector Sigma. Wheeljack suggested they send a message of some sort through the gateway to Optimus Prime, but Alpha Trion advocated sending an actual bot. Eventually, the Autobot called Chaindrive was sent, equipped with a device to track the Matrix of Leadership, a piece of the Blades of Time, and a warning for Optimus regarding the Requiem Blaster. Transformers: Exiles
Wheeljack was a member of the Wreckers alongside Bulkhead, Con Job Impactor, Roadbuster, Rotorstorm, Seaspray and Pyro. Loose Cannons He took part in an unnamed battle where he and Bulkhead became surrounded by Decepticons and low on Energon. However, Wheeljack threw a grenade into a smelter, causing it to explode and take out the attackers.Con Job Him and Bulkhead also had an altercation on Sandokan.Loose Cannons. However, early on in the war, Bulkhead left the Wreckers to join Team Prime while Wheeljack continued to serve in the Wreckers. Wheeljack took part in the Battle of Darkmount Pass, where he took out a group of Decepticons to get the Wreckers across a smelting pit. When Cybertron went dark, he began travelling the stars alone in the Jackhammer. Con Job

Eventually he reached Earth's Solar System and was hailed by the Autobots stationed there, including Bulkhead. As he was coming in to land at the coordinates provided by Optimus Prime, his ship was attacked and shot down by Vehicons. Wheeljack emerged from the Jackhammer and proceeded to trash the Decepticons, but was eventually overwhelmed and taken back to the Nemesis where he was imprisoned. He was amused to find that Starscream was in command of the Decepticons, and almost goaded Starscream into killing him.

An opportunity allowed him to kill his guard and break free from his bonds. He scaled to the top of the ship, where Starscream was waiting for Makeshift, who'd taken on Wheeljack's appearance, to open the Autobot GroundBridge. Wheeljack smashed a bunch of Vehicons and assaulted Starscream before escaping through the GroundBridge to the Autobot base. There he confronted Makeshift and the pair dueled with swords until Wheeljack was victorious. Bulkhead tossed Makeshift back through the GroundBridge along with a "present" for the 'cons.

Though the Autobots welcomed Wheeljack, he revealed that he intended to return to space. He invited Bulkhead along, but Bulkhead was too attached to his friends on Earth to leave. Bulkhead was sure Wheeljack would return someday... Con Job

When Miko was trying to stir Bulkhead's memory after he absorbed the data from the Cybertronian data cylinder she mentioned Wheeljack, and showed Bulkhead the picture she took of them together. Sadly, this did not jog Bulkhead's memory. T.M.I.

During his travels, Wheeljack made contact with fellow Wrecker Seaspray only for Dreadwing to destroy Seaspray's ship. Wheeljack chased Dreadwing to Earth where they battled near a gas station, which was destroyed in the conflict as Optimus Prime's team arrived. Filling the other Autobots in, Wheeljack found himself chafing over the need for secrecy. When Dreadwing called him to arrange a meeting, Wheeljack took Bulkhead to try and trap the Decepticon. The encounter instead left Wheeljack buried.

Once Optimus dug him out, he accompanied the Autobot leader to the port where Bulkhead had been taken by Dreadwing and attempted to remove the bomb the Decepticon had placed on his comrade. Eventually he was forced to concede only Dreadwing could remove the bomb, and he and Optimus played a gambit that forced Dreadwing's hand. Convinced to stay on Earth by the other Autobots, Wheeljack adopted a new alternate mode and drove off to explore the planet. Loose Cannons

Triangulation
During the Autobot's hunt for the Iacon relecks, Optimus informed Ratchet that he was to be assinged with Wheeljack to find the next one, much to the doc bots annoyance. Triangulation
An axe is a handheld weapon made up of a stick and one or two blades stuck on one or both sides. Axes can range from small, one-handed handaxes, hatchets and throwing axes to huge two-handed, double-edged axes. Compared to a sword, axes are used to hack at an enemy and often have greater weight behind their blows. However, axes are often not as versatile as a sword (which can be used to slash, thrust, parry and so on) and so are generally used by those who prefer raw power over technique. Being somewhat sturdier than swords, axes also make useful tools (e.g. for rescue operations, clearing foliage and breaking through debris).

Transformers sometimes use axes for both tools and melee weapons.
Fiction
Generation 1 cartoon
*Optimus Prime wielded an Energon-axe during a fight against Megatron on a kind of important dam. Although the original toy did not include this accessory, it became closely associated with the character.
*Junkions (most notably Wreck-Gar and Junkyard's rider) wield axes in the Transformers movie. Wreck-Gar's weapon is called an 'Armor Axe' meaning it probably specializes in splitting armor.

Beast Wars
*Air Hammer's beast mode tail converts into his robot mode's left arm in what could be best described as an axe-like weapon.

Beast Machines
*Battle Unicorn is armed with an axe.

Beast Wars Neo
*Mach Kick's tail converts into a hatchet.
*Bazooka is armed with a weapon that can double as an axe or as a blaster, depending on how it is held.

Unicron Trilogy
*Strongarm generates an axe as an energon weapon
*Scourge's tail becomes an axe when he is in robot mode
*Metroplex has his colossal axe Sparkdrinker.

Live-Action Movie Series
While Optimus's retractable blade weapon has been interpreted as a sword rather than an axe in this continuity, the AWESOMENESS of axes hasn't been overlooked.
*Ratchet's toy has a fold-out axe in one forearm (although no fiction to date has depicted him using it).
*Bumblebee possesses a retractable battle axe for melee combat.
*Jetfire's landing-gear cane converts to an axe.
*Crosshairs has an axe as well.
*In Dark of the Moon, Optimus Prime utilizes a double-edged axe (alongside his sword) in the final battle.

Transformers Animated
*Optimus Prime uses a rocket-powered axe as a signature weapon and for transport. Before the events of the series, it is shown that this weapon would have been used primarily as a tool rather than a weapon, used to clear rubble and detritus from space bridges. Not that that makes it any less effective in combat.
*Soundwave's partner, Laserbeak transforms into an axe of rock!

Transformers: Prime
*In the War for Cybertron video game Optimus Prime's melee weapon is a large rocket powered axe almost as big as he is. He uses it quite efficiently, violently ripping apart endless Decepticon soldiers.
*When forced to fight, Miko's usual choice of weapon is an Axe.
