{{disambig3|Nemesis}}
:''The ''Nemesis'' is a Decepticon starship in the [[Transformers Animated (franchise)|Animated]] [[continuity family]].''
[[Image:TFA TFandRollout Decepticonship.jpg|right|300px|thumb|No... THIS is the most powerful Decepticon warship in Transformer history.]]
The '''''Nemesis''''' is a [[Decepticon]] ship, originally under the command of [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]]. According to [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]], the markings on the ship depict it is a command ship.

==Fiction==
===Animated===
The ''Nemesis'' was a Decepticon warship under the control of [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]]. It has a Grand Mal class force field, a cybertroid alloy star drive, [[Moleculon missile]]s, and a sophisticated sensor array. {{storylink|The AllSpark Almanac}} Unknown to the Autobots, it carried the [[protoform]]s stolen from Master [[Yoketron]]'s dojo four million years prior. {{storylink|Endgame, Part I}}

It showed up on the outskirts of [[Autobot]]-controlled space almost immediately after the legendary [[AllSpark (Animated)|AllSpark]] was discovered by [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]] and his crew of [[space bridge]] repair-bots. It attacked [[Teletran-1]] in an attempt to capture the AllSpark. When the Autobots and [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]] were hurled into an unstable space bridge, the Decepticon crew abandoned ship on [[Devola|Devolan]] escape ships purchased from [[Swindle (Animated)|Swindle]]. They left the ''Nemesis'' and its new de facto captain [[Starscream (Animated)|Starscream]] to be [[Slag (slang)|slagged]] by the impending explosion. For the next fifty [[stellar cycle]]s, Starscream piloted the remains of the ship, searching for the AllSpark to show the Decepticons he deserved to be their new leader. When its systems detected an AllSpark-like energy signature from a remote star system, he went to investigate. En route, he monitored television transmissions that depicted Prime and his Autobots as the new superheroes of [[Detroit]]. {{storylink|Transform and Roll Out}}

''Shortly before arriving at Earth, Starscream was surprised when the ''Nemesis'' detected an intruder. He ambushed [[Blackarachnia (Animated)| Blackarachnia]], who was also seeking the AllSpark, but not before she planted a tracking device on his back. Unfortunately, distracted by the battle, Starscream was unable to prevent the ''Nemesis'' from crashing into the Earth's [[Moon (moon)|Moon]]. {{storylink|Dispatches}}''

''In the course of tracking down [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|the robot who took Megatron offline]], [[Lockdown (Animated)|Lockdown]] discovered the crashed ''Nemesis'' on the Earth's moon. While accessing its logs, he discovered that Blackarachnia was still onboard. After a brief confrontation, both combatants were knocked offline. Based on the information contained in the ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki> memory banks, Lockdown headed for Earth, unaware that Blackarachnia was hitching a ride down to the planet. {{storylink|A Few Loose Strands}}''

[[Image:LugnutBlitzwingNemesis.JPG|left|200px|thumb|Moral of the story: [[Seeker (body-type)|seeker]]s can't park!]]
Later, [[Blitzwing (Animated)|Blitzwing]] and [[Lugnut]] found its remains when they were hunting down the Autobots in between much-needed dancing lessons. {{storylink|Lost and Found (episode)|Lost and Found}}
Starscream returned to the ''Nemesis'' and appeared to stay there for a full deca-cycle until [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] showed up to hunt for the Decepticon traitor to turn him in. Because of the intervention of [[Lockdown (Animated)|Lockdown]], Starscream eluded capture, and Prowl and Lockdown returned to Earth, unknowingly chasing after one of his [[Starscream clone|clones]]. After the clone's failed attempt on Megatron's life, Starscream was again seen aboard the ''Nemesis'', watching a transmission of Megatron telling the other Decepticons that the bounty on Starscream had increased. Enraged, Starscream swore vengeance on Megatron, turning to show an entire hull full of Starscream clones. {{storylink|A Fistful of Energon}}

Some time later, Starscream and five of his clones flew to Earth to destroy Megatron, leaving the wreckage of the ''Nemesis'' behind. {{storylink|A Bridge Too Close, Part I}}

The Decepticons then returned to seize the remaining protoforms as well as ransacking the ship for raw materials. The protoforms placed inside giant exo-structures made from components of the ''Nemesis''' hull gave rise to Megatron's ultimate weapons: a fleet of [[Lugnut Supreme]]s.{{storylink|Endgame, Part I}}
==Notes==
* The design of this ''Nemesis'' is a strong homage to [[Nemesis (G1)|the G1 vessel of the same name]].
