When the Decepticons attempted to steal an energy plant, the Multiforce arrived to repel them. Wishing to prove themselves capable warriors, they elected not to contact Star Saber, and instead combined into Landcross to combat Dinoking.

Things were looking grim when, thanks to an SOS sent by Jean Minakaze, Star Saber and the Brainmasters arrived. Landcross and Star Saber jointly fought off Dinoking, and Star Saber admonished Landcross not to be so reckless. Unite!! Multiforce

Later, with an injury sustained by Blacker leaving the Brainmasters unable to form Road Caesar, Battle Up of Wrath!! the Multiforce journeyed to Antarctica to counter a Decepticon attack on an UN scientific survey. They formed Landcross and fought Liokaiser alongside Galaxy Shuttle, but got their skidplates whupped. Fortunately, Star Saber was able to arrive in time to turn the tide. Fight to the Death!! Antarctic Battle

Landcross was later beaten up by Dinoking in America, but was saved by Victory Leo. Fight!! Victory Leo When Deathsaurus launched his final attack on Earth, Landcross managed to blow up one of the asteroids fired from the Planet-Destroying Fortress, but was badly injured in the resulting explosion. After the war, he was assigned to Vega Sector and given the rank of governor. Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification
Landcross was seen among other high-ranking Autobots (such as Road Caesar, Grand Maximus, Metalhawk, Lander, and the Autobot Godmasters) when Dai Atlas was sworn-in by Victory Saber as the new Supreme Commander of the Autobot forces. Enter the New Supreme Commander, Dai Atlas!
The Multiforce was summoned to Earth by Star Saber and battled Dinoking as Landcross. After defeating Dinoking, Landcross separated in order to swarm Deathsaurus with superior numbers. Magnificent! Our Friend, Star Saber!

On their next mission, the Multiforce were unable to best Deathsaurus while combined as Landcross. Even the arrival of Road Caesaar and Star Saber didn't tip the balance of power in their favor. Only after Solon accidentally distracted Deathsaurus were the Autobots able to get the upper hand. Great Turn-Around! Star Saber

Sometime later, Landcross and Road Caesar arrived too late for battle, as Victory Saber had already moved down all the Decepticons in his path. The Strongest Partners, the Combination of Victory! Landcross also fought against the Decepticon space base in the final battle when it was raining meteors down upon Earth. {{storylink|Heroic! Blue Bacchus yearns to be as good as the other Crossformer, and follows him everywhere, hoping that he can learn from him and become just like him. Blue Bacchus and Black Shadow were hired by Hellbat of the Breastforce to help him loot Planet Micro of all its energon. While the Crossformers caused massive panic and destruction, Hellbat got a clear run at the energy reserves. The incredible size and power of the Crossformers, especially on a world full of Micromasters, made their mission relatively easy, until Governor Riker called in Star Saber to help. When the Autobot commander arrived to stop the villains during their an attack on the plasma energy plant that provided Micro with a third of all its energy, Blue Bacchus spoke for the pair when he refused to take on Star Saber for the price they were currently being paid. After Hellbat grudgingly agreed to triple their fee, the two Crossformers were about to engage Star Saber when they themselves were attacked by Saber's ally, their former partner in crime, Greatshot, who had reformed and joined the Autobots. Blue Bacchus did not start the fight out well, as he transformed into helicopter mode only to be knocked from the air and pinned by Greatshot in his rhino mode. Black Shadow freed him from Greatshot's grip and the pair seemed to turn the fight around, until the six-changer used his "Disappearing Dust" technique to get the drop on them and destroy their guns. The pair proved to be no match for Greatshot with their bladed weapons, and he destroyed their outer shells, forcing them to retreat in their small vehicle modes, vowing revenge. Hellbat joined them in retreat, without any energy to show for his trouble, but the Crossformers insisted that he would still be paying them. Planet Micro - The Mysterious Warrior
:Shūta Gō is a human and Autobot Headmaster Junior from the Super-God Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

At first, Shūta Gō (剛 秀太 Gō Shūta) was part of a long-standing tradition, fulfilling the role of the Autobots enthusiastic young human ally. However, not long after the death of his father, Professor Gō, Shūta became something much more. Bonded to the Transtector from the planet Master, Shūta became Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā), a Headmaster Junior and a true Autobot warrior, able to help his friends an allies in new, dangerous, but always exciting ways.

Whether in the form of a human or a Transformer, Shūta is always eager for new challenges and willing to jump into dangerous situations without hesitation... or thought, really. He means well, but he tends to leap before he looks, and his brain-mouth filter could use some work. A skilled soccer player, Shūta is close friends (and friendly rivals) with fellow Headmaster Junior Cab, and they both have a slight crush on their teammate Minerva.

Fiction
Super-God Masterforce cartoon
Once upon a time, Shūta had a pretty normal life. He went to school, he did his homework, and he was friends with one of the scientists at his father's observatory research center, "Mr. Hawk," who trained him and helped him to improve his soccer skills. On the day that a cruise liner was sunk off the coast of Canada by two monstrous creatures, however, everything changed. Mr. Hawk revealed to Shūta that he was not from Earth—in truth, he was Metalhawk, leader of a secret cell of Autobot Pretenders who had long been protecting Earth in secret. The monstrous creatures were Decepticons, who had restarted their campaign against Earth, and Metalhawk and the Pretenders were forced to return to battle once more. Shūta followed Metalhawk into the nearby city on his motorcycle to watch him battle a Tentakil, but wound up trapped in the clutches on the slimy Seacon. With the help of his fellow Pretenders, Metalhawk defeated the Decepticons and rescued Shūta. Rise Up!! Pretenders

When news of a Decepticon attack on the Karin Islands reached the Autobots, Shūta convinced Metalhawk to allow him to go along. On the Karin Islands, he met the local prince, Cab, but their first encounter was a rough one, with Cab attacking Shūta because he thought he was a robot in disguise like the Pretenders. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up and the Decepticons were defeated, the two boys became quite friendly, and Cab decided to accompany Shūta and the Pretenders back to Japan. Upon their return, however, the group discover that Shūta's father's observatory had been attacked by the Decepticons, and Professor Go had been fatally wounded. The professor handed Shūta the key to the Autobots' new base and died before his son's eyes. Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt

Shūta and Cab soon found something else to fight over when they met Minerva, a young girl from Mont Porte, while helping the Autobots to rescue the scientist Professor Blanieux from the Decepticons. Shūta and Cab proved instrumental in saving the professor, overpowering a Destroid stewardess that had been sent to capture him, and Minerva joined them in attending the International School. Kidnapping!? The Targeted Jumbo Jet

Not long thereafter, Shūta, Cab and Minerva's determination to help the Autobots in their fight prompted Metalhawk to make them a remarkable offer. Given Master-Braces, which enhanced their strength and reflexes with Chōkon Power, and Transtectors to which they could bond, the three kids became Headmaster Juniors and could now fight alongside the Autobots as true Transformer warriors. Shūta had to learn, however, that his powers were for rescuing innocents first and fighting Decepticons second. His first clash with the Decepticons' own team of Headmaster Juniors put his resolve to the test when he had to rescue a baby from a burning building without sinking to the Decepticon Juniors' level and fighting back. Metalhawk helped to take out the young punks, and Shūta saved the child, in the process learning the importance of putting the lives of others ahead of defeating his enemies. Birth! Headmaster Jrs

Despite learning this lesson, Shūta's new powers still made him a touch on the arrogant side, and a chewing-out from his soccer coach was soon followed by a trip to America to train with Diver. He and Cab mastered their teamwork fighting Seacons and the Decepticon Juniors again, {{storylink|Rage!!

Back in Japan, Shūta, Cab and Minerva enrolled in a hang-gliding contest, during which they came under attack from the newest addition to the Decepticon army, the Godmaster brothers, Hydra and Buster. Super Warriors - The Godmaster Brothers After a further altercation with the new villains in the Karin Islands, Shūta demanded to know why the Autobots did not have Godmasters of their own, {{storylink|A Fierce Battle!! Shūta and the Autobot Juniors travelled to America to meet their new comrade, Ginrai: God On of Rage!! and soon after, welcomed him to Japan when he came to visit the Autobot base. This also proved to be the first chance to battle alongside him, when they all tangled with the Decepticon Juniors and briefly captured Cancer. A Strange Friendship: Cancer and Minerva Friendship came quickly between Ginrai and the Juniors, and Shūta gave him the grand tour of the Autobot base. {{storylink|Friend or Foe!?
Summer got off to a rocky start when Shūta attempted to stop Cab from peeping on Minerva and the other female pupils during their swimming classes at school, Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter but once summer vacation set in, the team enjoyed a trip to the Rocky Mountains in Canada, where they met Ranger. {{storylink|An Enemy?

As the new school term began, a strange television program caught Shūta and Cab's attention when the mysterious fortuneteller featured on the show revealed the existence of the Autobots and Decepticons to the world. This was, of course, a Decepticon plot to turn Humanity against the Autobots, and Shūta and the Juniors did their part to help turn public opinion around by helping rescue people from a flood caused by the villains. Expose the Decepticons' Dark Trap!
Shūta and the other Juniors were left with little to do when the Autobots funnelled their resources into the "Bomber Project", aiming to create Godbomber, a drone that would give Ginrai the power to fly and fight in space to battle the approaching Decepticon super-weapon BlackZarak. After BlackZarak was repelled, however, the Juniors discovered that they too possessed a link with Godbomber and were able to control and transform it by uniting their Chōkon Power. Destroy Godbomber!!

Shūta tasted the bitterness of true defeat when the final Godmaster, Clouder, sided with the Decepticons and helped arrange an assault on the Autobot base. With only Shūta, his fellow Juniors and Metalhawk to protect it, the base was a lost cause, but Shūta refused to abandon his father's last great work. Nonetheless, the base was destroyed by the Decepticons' attack. Disaster! The Autobot Base Explodes

During a later outer space battle with BlackZarak and the Decepticons, Grand Maximus's battleship was sent plummeting into Earth's atmosphere when its tachyon converter was knocked offline. Setting personal safety aside, it was Shūta who saved the day by donning a rocket pack and reactivating the converter. When the ship reactivated with a judder, he was thrown free and continued his searing re-entry, only to be swept up by Ginrai just before impacting. Crisis! The Day of Human Extinction

While searching for the Decepticon base, Shūta was approached by the repentant Clouder, who offered to take him there. Shūta warily agreed to accompany to see if his claim was legitimate before radioing the other Autobots, but while Clouder's intentions were good, the other Decepticons caught wind of the pair's approach and ambushed them. Captured and thrown in a dungeon, Shūta naturally assumed Clouder had betrayed him and began pummeling the Godmaster. Overlord was gentlemanly enough to correct Shūta's misconception, but proceeded to use the Headmaster Junior as a bargaining chip, summoning Ginrai to the base in exchange for his supposed safety. Held in the grip of King Poseidon, Shūta cried out for his commander to forget about him and fight back against Overlord. Thankfully, the equation was soon balanced out by Cancer, who turned against the Decepticons and freed Shūta. Decepticon defeat and Autobot escape immediately followed, God Ginrai: Showdown at the Decepticon Base and not long after, Shūta participated in a large-scale Autobot attack on the Decepticon base, culminating in its destruction. {{storylink|The Ultimate Combination!!
On a mission to stop BlackZarak in the Grand Canyon, Shūta, the other Juniors and Ranger were attacked by King Poseidon, and Shūta was seized by Buster and had a gun put to his head. The tables were luckily turned by the arrival of Ginrai, and the Decepticons retreated to Europe. Autobots! Desperate Attack!! Shūta and the Juniors again ran afoul of King Poseidon as the team scaled the Matterhorn, {{storylink|Malevolent and Inhuman! When the Decepticon adopted a new, serpentine form, Ginrai called upon Shūta and the Juniors for their power, and the three kids were transported into his chest cockpit. There, they added their Chōkon Power to Ginrai's to create the "Final Fire Guts" attack, with which BlackZarak and Devil Z were both finally destroyed.

In the wake of Devil Z's destruction, however, the bond between the Autobots and their Transtectors was broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. A Battle... and Then...
When the Decepticon Pretenders attacked the Karin Islands, Shūta accompanied his Autobot friend Metalhawk there and attempted to persuade the local prince, Cab, to back down from the fight. Cab responded by slugging Shūta one and telling the foreigner to keep out of it, but was shocked into silence when the Pretenders dropped their disguises and revealed their robotic forms. Shūta explained the origins of the Pretenders as Metalhawk routed the Decepticons, and said that he would introduce Cab to the Autobot hero. Gods? Devils? The Pretenders

Back in Japan, Cab and Shūta attended the International School together and soon discovered that Metalhawk had recruited their classmate, Minerva. Metalhawk explained that the three kids were going to help fight the Decepticons, and after a period of intensive training, they were given Master-Braces and Transtectors and became Headmaster Juniors. Shūta and Cab immediately went joyriding in their Transtectors and ran into trouble when they encountered a Lobclaw Seacon, but Metalhawk saved them—though not without chastising them for their lack of teamwork. Headmaster Jrs Are Born

During a later battle between Metalhawk and Blood, Metalhawk summoned the Headmaster Juniors to aid in the rescue effort in the surrounding city. Shūta and Minerva were forced to sneak out of the International School dormitory, and they and Cab then met their opposite numbers in the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, whom they defeated. Shūta was not best pleased about having had his night's sleep ruined, but Minerva pointed out that it was Sunday tomorrow anyway. Destined Confrontation: The Children of Good and Evil
Shūta and the Juniors soon met and befriended the Autobot Godmaster Ginrai, {{storylink|Enter on the Stage!
At one point, Shūta and Cab were captured by the Decepticons and tortured by Blood. Mega and Giga hoped that the two boys would join their twisted Decepticon family, but Shūta refuted the notion that the villains were any kind of family at all. Thankfully, they were rescued by Minerva and Ginrai, and as they recuperated, the boys laughed about how the two seemed to be filling the roles of their mother and father. The Earth Family of Good and Evil

In the final battle against BlackZarak, the villain turned on his fellow Decepticons, leading them to unite with the Autobots in defeating him. All of the Transformers boarded Grand Maximus and charged him with their energy before he crashed straight into BlackZarak, obliterating him and Devil Z. The death of Devil Z caused the bond between the humans and their Transtectors to be broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. The Birth of the Super Lifeforms

When a new Transformer war erupted on Earth, Shūta and Cab decided to check out the new Supreme Commander, Star Saber, thinking that he wasn't a patch on God Ginrai. They appeared in the middle of a battle between Star Saber and the Decepticons, lecturing the adopted human sons of the two faction leaders (Jean Minakaze of the Autobots and Solon Kitakaze of the Decepticons) on how much better Ginrai was. In mid-pontification, however, the boys were attacked by Dinoforce member Kakuryū. Star Saber swooped in to save them and hurled Kakuryū over a cliff, but as the Decepticon clawed at the edge of the crevice, Star Saver showed mercy and helped him back up. This was enough to convince Shūta and Cab that Star Saber was a good egg, and they cemented their friendship with Jean. Warrior of Love, Star Saber! Jean was later invited by the boys to Cab's treehouse, but that didn't turn out to be such a good idea, since Yokuryū smashed up the place and captured Jean. Watch Out, Jean! Hurry, Star Saber!

Shūta and Cab established themselves as members of Star Saber's Autobot warriors when they got new suits of armor modelled on the Brainmasters. (Shūta wore a suit based on Braver.) The Star of Friendship, Jean and Star Saber! Their little group of armored humans, the "Victories", was soon joined by Jean's sister Patty (to whom both boys took a liking), The Strongest Partners, the Combination of Victory! and more surprisingly, by Solon, who betrayed the Decepticons when he learned his true heritage.
Shūta, Cab and the other Victories were all aboard Galaxy Shuttle during the final battle between the Autobots and Deathsaurus's planet-destroying fortress. When the battle was done, they all boarded the fortress with the other Autobots and Decepticons and witnessed Deathsaurus's disclosure that the fortress contained all the Decepticon civilians. This revelation led to the laying down of Autobot and Decepticon arms and the beginning of a new age of peace. Shūta and Cab glomped Patty in happiness. {{storylink|Heroic!
