Synopsis
At the peak of the Matterhorn, Ginrai and the fused BlackZarak/Devil Z entity prepare to face off against each other in their final battle. BlackZarak inquires if the Autobot leader plans to fight him alone, and Ginrai responds with a barrage of laser fire, which BlackZarak shrugs off. The villain transforms to scorpion mode and takes to the air, but Ginrai pursues him and seizes him by the tail. BlackZarak roars that he does not have time to waste on Ginrai, freely divulging his plan—he has placed an amplifier for his Devil Power at the South Pole, which will allow him to eliminate Humanity in the blink of an eye. The furious Ginrai attempts to drag BlackZarak back down to the mountain's peak, and he calls out for Overlord and the Darkwings brothers to aid him. Help is not forthcoming, but Ginrai still manages to rip off BlackZarak's cannons and tricks the villain into blasting himself with his own tail weapon. Damaged, BlackZarak begins to lose altitude, and Ginrai uses his own jets to steer the Decepticon into the mountainside. At the last second, however, BlackZarak throws off Ginrai and collapses part of the mountain, burying Ginrai in an avalanche.

Elsewhere on the mountain, the other Autobots and Decepticons are recovering from their injuries. While Minerva tends to the wounds Metalhawk received during his battle with King Poseidon in one location, in another spot, Hydra and Buster finally recover consciousness after the beating administered to them by BlackZarak. While Buster is still trying to wrap his mind around what happened, Hydra simply writes it off as punishment for weakness and proof that they must fight even harder. The chance for such a fight immediately arrives in the form of the Autobot Godmasters, and even though the two weakened Decepticons practically collapse after only a few shots are exchanged, they continue to draw out the fight.

Some miles away, Clouder has supplied Cancer, Wilder and Bullhorn with a heavily armed buggy so that they can participate in the battle on the Matterhorn. As the quartet head towards the Alps, Wilder chooses to remind everyone that he has definitely not joined the Autobots, but the protest has grown so stale that Cancer laughs it off, much to Wilder's annoyance.

Back on the Matterhorn, BlackZarak is in mid-gloat when Ginrai comes bursting out of the ice and snow and stomps his opponent into the rock face. BlackZarak transforms back into robot mode and unleashes the "Devil Thunder Ring," encircling Ginrai with Devil Power with the intent of removing his humanity and transforming him into a true robot, just as he did with Hydra and Buster. As Ginrai fights the effect, Grand Maximus comes flying around the mountain. Having been unable to communicate with Ginrai, Grand and the Headmaster Juniors have come to help. And help they do—a blast from the Maximus's cannon throws off BlackZarak's focus long enough for Ginrai to escape his Devil Power and take the fight up close. With a mighty swing and a flare of incandescent energy, Ginrai punches BlackZarak's head clean off his shoulders, and the decapitated Decepticon crashes into the mountain. Shūta cheers for his commander as BlackZarak's severed head lands alongside his body and explodes, but Grand silences him... because something is happening! BlackZarak's twitching, headless body rises up out of its crater, and as the shocked Autobots watch, it begins to transform into a new form!

At the base of the mountain, Mega and Giga stand by their Transtectors and debate on what to do next. Realizing that they have been misled by Devil Z, who has placed his hatred of human beings above even their comradeship, they know they can no longer serve him...and they now also owe Ginrai a debt of honor for saving them from Z's wrath. They are not the only Decepticons to reach a decision at this point, either—Hydra and Buster have reached the end of their strength and combine into Darkwings to flee their battle with the Autobot Godmasters.

Meanwhile, far above, BlackZarak's new form now stands revealed: a twisted, two-headed serpent, which launches energy blasts at God Ginrai from its mouths and swats him out of the sky with its tail. As the battle rages, Overlord appears overhead, and BlackZarak offers him a chance to redeem himself, but the Ambassador of Destruction opens fire on BlackZarak instead. Infuriated, BlackZarak vows to show Overlord what happens to traitors and envelops him in a beam of Devil Power. Crying in pain, Overlord's last act is to tell Ginrai to ensure that BlackZarak does not live, before Giga and Mega are suddenly ejected from the sphere of Devil Power. Shocked at what they are seeing, Ginrai and Grand Maximus are distracted enough to be blasted out of the sky by BlackZarak, just as the cocoon of Devil Power recedes and the Overlord Transtector emerges...now a truly living super-robot lifeform itself, brought to life by the power of Devil Z! Giga murmurs that he wishes they could have settled their rivalry with Ginrai honourably, and with that, he and Mega die and their Master-Braces vanish from their wrists. Burning with righteous anger and Chōkon Power, Ginrai rises, and Shūta, Cab and Minerva all feel the energy of their commander. In a flash of light, the three children find themselves in God Ginrai's chest cockpit, ready to fight alongside their leader as the defining moment of the battle draws nearer. Overlord lunges for Ginrai, but Grand Maximus transforms to robot mode and tackles him. BlackZarak orders Wilder, Cancer and Bullhorn's now-living Transtectors to attack Ginrai instead, but the Godmasters arrive just in time to handle them, leaving Ginrai to face off against BlackZarak. God Fire Guts and Devil Power collide in a mighty explosion, hurling Ginrai back and leaving Devil Z simply laughing from within BlackZarak's body. He announces to Ginrai that the Autobot's very existence—the existence of all the Godmasters—is as a result of his machinations, and to him, they are nothing more than tools that will never be able to defeat their maker. Ginrai refutes this, declaring that Devil Z has long underestimated the strength of humans and the limitless possibilities that exist within Mankind, and that is why he shall never defeat them. Exploding into flame once more, Ginrai activates the God Fire Guts and dives at BlackZarak, driving hard against a beam of Devil Power. Fighting with all his strength, Ginrai overpowers the beam and crashes into and through BlackZarak, whose body finally explodes into fragments, exposing the glowing orb of Devil Z. As the villain rages impotently, Ginrai and the Headmaster Juniors unite every drop of their Chōkon Power for one last, mighty attack: the FINAL FIRE GUTS! Burning with the passion and strength of his fellow humans and Autobots, Ginrai dives like a flaming spear into the heart of Devil Z, who screams and explodes in a coruscating wave of light and darkness.

As the blast dies out, the skies clear and Ginrai fades back into view, and the Decepticons battling below stop and gape, unable to comprehend what has occurred. Overlord is the first to take action...and that action is retreat. With their leader lost, the Decepticons immediately take to the air and head for space. Ginrai comes floating down out of the sky and lands in front his troops, but the surprises are not yet through, as all of the Godmasters and Headmaster Juniors suddenly glow with blinding light. When the light fades, seven ordinary human beings are left standing on the snowy ground, and Minerva is the first to realize that their Master-Braces have vanished. It is Road King who then makes the next discovery: A short distance away, their Transtectors are standing in robot mode! Ginrai's Transtector looks down at the humans assembled before it, and thanks them for all they have done. It is then that Ginrai realizes what has happened—with Devil Z's death, the link that he created between the humans and their Transtectors has been broken. But now, their Transtectors live on, having become true super-robot lifeforms themselves, and it is their duty to pursue the fleeing Decepticons back into space. As goodbyes are said, Cancer and company roll up the mountain in their buggy, all weapons firing, just a little bit too late to do any good. As everyone watches and waves, the Godmasters and Headmaster Juniors board Grand Maximus and blast off for space. As the narrator says, Ginrai's long battle with the Decepticons is over at last, but throughout it all, he has been supported by his friends, his fellow humans, and the beauty and peace of planet Earth.
Notes
Lost in translation
Among the changes made by the Omni Productions dub:
*The Matterhorn is described by the narrator as the Decepticons' control center.
*Devil Z calls his amplifier an "exterminator".
*Hawk doesn't bring up summoning the other Pretenders at all, leaving their absence a mystery.
*Clouder describes the Matterhorn as a "hill".
*God Ginrai's line in defiance of BlackZarak's threat to turn him into a robot is gone.
*Overlord's last line as he's being zapped by Devil Z is gone.
*God Ginrai's lecture to Devil Z about not killing his own men is changed to general "I will kill you!" banter.
*The determined growling during the shot of Ginrai and the Headmaster Juniors is replaced by Cab's voice actor whimpering loudly.
*Overlord's line right after Devil Z's death becomes "It's finally been destroyed!", which seems more positive than the original script intended.
*"WE BELIEVE TOMORROW" is missing from the soundtrack, with no music to replace it. The last notes of it fade in just before the credits.

Animation or technical errors
*In the first shot after the title card, BlackZarak is absolutely towering over God Ginrai. In the past, he's not been much more than a head taller than him.

Continuity errors
*Having not appeared in the previous episode, and having been absent for two-thirds of this one, Cancer, Wilder, and Bullhorn's Transtectors are suddenly among the Decepticon ranks in the third act. The Doubleclouder Transtector is still missing, however, and is not seen among the Decepticons flying into space at the episode's close.
*How in the world does God Ginrai know who Giga and Mega are? He's only known them as Overlord, yet when they are separated from their transtector, God Ginrai calls out their names. But 17 episodes ago Giga and Mega did introduce them selves as Giga and Mega but they were in the Gigatank and Megajet. Maybe Ginrai remembered there real names and but didnt know who was who.
*This episode explains that Devil Z was responsible for forging the link between the Godmasters and their Transtectors. This makes sense; the Godmasters' Transtectors were not originally intended to be bonded with humans, so it had to be someone else's doing, and the fact that the death of Devil Z in this episode causes this link to be severed makes it clear that he's not lying about it. However, Shūta, Minerva and Cab are also separated from their Transtectors, and this doesn't make sense, because Devil Z had no hand in their combination. Unless it had something to do with them being inside God Ginrai when he used the Final Fire Guts
*Grand Maximus carries the Godmasters and Headmaster Juniors into space at the end of this episode, which is inconsistent with how he has been presented in the rest of the series. Whereas his big brother, Fortress Maximus, was large enough to transport Transformers around, Grand's battleship has been consistently depicted as being scaled for transporting humans around (consequently, he only transforms into a robot as tall as God Ginrai, instead of a towering giant like his sibling). But here, he is boarded by Transformers. Oops.

Continuity notes
*BlackZarak has been decapitated before, back in "God Ginrai - Showdown on the Surface of the Moon".
*Cancer, Wilder and Bullhorn (and Clouder) had their Transtectors brought to life in "Autobots! Desperate Attack!!".

Trivia
*The insert songs "Susume! Chōjin Masterforce" and "WE BELIEVE TOMORROW" are reprised for this episode, the former in instrumental form.
*BlackZarak's serpent mode, like Sixshot's "Wingwolf" mode and Overlord's "space jet" mode before it, was created by the production staff of the animated series by tinkering around with the toy. (Specifically, they beheaded the scorpion mode, turned it belly-forward, and used the claws for twin dragon heads.) In comparison to those other two characters, though, this mode was streamlined to a greater degree for animation (such as completely omitting the scorpion legs), so the actual toy doesn't look nearly as good if transformed to match it.
*Metalhawk (and presumably the other Autobot Pretenders too) remains behind on Earth. Presumably, that's because someone still needs to hunt down the Decepticon Pretenders and the Seacons, who last appeared (chronologically speaking) in the previous episode, and whose fates are left unrevealed.
*While this episode marks the end of the Super-God Masterforce story, it is not the end of the series. For the video release of the show, five clip episodes were created, and the final one of these, "You Too Use the Masterforce to Transform", was aired as the forty-third and final episode of the broadcast series.

Unless it had something to do with being inside God Ginrai when he used the Final Fire Guts

Say what?.
Unless it had something to do with being inside God Ginrai when he used the Final Fire Guts

Say what?. But 17 episodes ago Giga and Mega did introduce them selves as Giga and Mega but they were in the Gigatank and Megajet. unless Ginrai saw them in the tank and jet but that's very unlikely.
Unless it had something to do with being inside God Ginrai when he used the Final Fire Guts

:Sixknight is an Autobot Six Changer from the Super-God Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Sixknight is dedicated to being the best. A member of the enigmatic ninja Six Clan, he has voyaged across the universe increasing his strength and skill, mastering the elusive art of six-changing and learning to manipulate Tenchōkon Power. The problem with this boastful ninja, though, is that he really needs people to know how good he is, and if there's someone out there who claims to be more powerful, then there's no other course of action for Sixknight than to take them on and show them who's boss. Sixknight really only understands force, believing that one's own power is all that matters—the subtleties of fighting for something or someone are lost upon him. As a Six Changer, however, he is a mercurial, impressionable sort, and the nobility of the Autobots intrigues this wandering warrior...

Sixknight traveled to Earth with the intention of joining up with the Decepticons, dispatching a squadron of fighter jets and a battleship upon arrival on the planet. Easily evading the Decepticon base's radar, Sixknight appeared before the Pretenders and Headmaster Juniors, who did not take kindly to the Six Changer's arrogance. While the Pretenders attacked Sixknight and were promptly flattened, Cancer summoned Giga and Mega, who agreed to hear Sixknight out. Explaining that he had come to lend his power to the Decepticons so that they could easily crush Earth's "human scum", Sixknight was furious when they laughed in his face, telling him that power alone was not enough. Sixknight retorted that his was no ordinary power, that he could control Tenchōkon Power, but Mega and Giga revealed to him the existence of the Godmasters, who were capable of controlling all three forms of Chōkon Power. Sixknight was dismissed from the base, but Blood and Gilmer decided to exploit the Six Changer's rage by suggesting that he challenge Ginrai in order to prove his skill.

Sixknight promptly attacked a Japanese city in order to draw Ginrai out, and met with resistance from Japan's Self-Defence Force, along with the Autobot Pretenders and Headmaster Juniors. At first, he mistook Goshooter for Ginrai, but when the genuine article arrived, the pair faced off in a one-on-one duel. When Sixknight's rapid-transforming "Six-Change Attack" met with failure and the ninja was pinned by Ginrai, Blood and Gilmer stepped in and seized Minerva, threatening her life if Ginrai did not back down. Although amazed that Ginrai cared anything for humans, Sixknight was enraged by the Pretenders' interference, and forced them at gunpoint to let Minerva free so that he could continue his battle with Ginrai honorably. For the final stage of their battle, Sixknight initiated his "Six-Change Attack of Death", but as he hurled himself at Ginrai, the Godmaster blasted him clean out of the air with one shot of Chōkon Power. Scarred and smoking, Sixknight's final humiliation came when Ginrai disconnected from his Transtector, revealing that he was, in fact, one of the "human scum" that Sixknight so despised. {{storylink|A Powerful Foe!!

Unable to comprehend how a Transformer could be defeated by a human being, Sixknight soon approached the Autobot Headmaster Juniors, laid down his weapons, and requested an audience with Ginrai. An impassioned Ginrai explained to Sixknight that the true strength of human beings is not physical, but comes from their indomitable spirit and drive to protect others, even if victory is impossible, only to have Sixknight reject the answer, unable to comprehend how he could lose to such an intangible concept. As Ginrai continued to explain, news of an attack by the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors in a nearby city came in, and Sixknight volunteered to prove that he was not a Decepticon by taking the three punks on. The Six Changer immediately headed for the city, where he violently engaged the Juniors, but was caught off-guard when the punks pretended to surrender. Seized and pummelled by the evil trio, Sixknight regained the advantage when Minerva distracted Cancer, and he soon had the Decepticons at his mercy, poised to delivery a killing blast. At that moment, however, Sixknight hesitated, giving Minerva and Browning enough time to create a smokescreen to cover the Juniors' escape. As they fled, Sixknight realized that his actions had been enough, and that killing was not necessary. Now convinced that Sixknight was trustworthy, Ginrai invited him back to the Autobot base, but Sixknight informed the human that he should not trust him so easily. Telling Ginrai that he now knew there was a purpose in their meeting, Sixknight departed, noting that it was likely their paths would cross again. The Autobot Warrior, Sixknight?!

It would be some time before Sixknight would meet with the Autobots again, but he did eventually reappear in the midst of a battle between the Autobot Headmaster Juniors and the Decepticon Godmaster brothers, Hydra and Buster. The Juniors were desperately trying to get the drone Godbomber to safety when Sixknight dropped out of the sky and tackled the two Decepticons. Buster managed to break away from the battle and went after the Juniors, but the three kids were able to transform Godbomber to robot mode and defeat Buster, leaving Sixknight to handle Hydra while they headed off to help Ginrai in battle with Overlord. In the aftermath of the battle, Ginrai thanked Sixknight for his help, and the Six Changer departed once more, already looking forward to his next meeting with the Autobots. Destroy Godbomber!!

Alas, Sixknight's next encounter with the Autobots would be his last. Atop the Matterhorn, Ginrai was under attack by BlackZarak when Sixknight arrived to help his friend, blasting the giant Decepticon with a volley of missiles as he burrowed up from beneath the ground in his drill-tank mode. Sixknight challenged BlackZarak to battle, telling Ginrai to assemble the Autobots for the final battle while he held BlackZarak off. Quietly, Sixknight admitted that he was happy to have fought Ginrai, and pressed his attack on BlackZarak, only to be bombarded by the villain's Devil Power. Convulsing violently, Sixknight's body exploded, leaving nothing but a smoking crater. Malevolent and Inhuman! The True Form of Devil Z

Cab (キャブ Kyabu) is the hereditary prince of the Republic of Karin in the South Seas, but if he could have his way, he'd really rather not be. Cab has availed himself of the tropical nature of the Karin Islands to escape his responsibilities in the most extreme way possible, spending his days playing "wild boy" in the island jungle. Exposure to the evil of the Decepticons and a burgeoning friendship with Shūta Gō prompted Cab to join up with the Autobots and enter civilization, but like the saying goes: You can take the boy out of the jungle, but you can't take the jungle out of the boy. Brave to the point of stupidity, insufferably brash, and desperately caught up in a desire to appear mature while avoiding any of the actual responsibilities maturity entails, Cab doesn't tend to "play well" with others.

As an Autobot Headmaster Junior, Cab is bonded to a Transtector from the planet Master, which takes the form of a fire engine. Using his Master-Braces, he can summon a suit of armor that enhances his physical strength, speed and reflexes, which allows him to transform into a head for his Transtector and function as a full-size Transformer robot. Aside from these Transformer powers, Cab also possesses the remarkable ability to communicate with animals, and two of his best friends are an armadillo and a parrot that have accompanied him into the western world. True to his self-imposed jungle upbringing, Cab is also quite an accomplished survivalist, able to build long-term shelters, cook using natural materials, and skilfully wield a knife.
Cab was in the midst of his usual jungle antics, tending to a wounded monkey, when his elderly guardian Donq excitedly approached him with a letter of acceptance from the International School of Japan. Cab had no desire to leave the island, but Donq was insistent that he be properly educated in preparation for his royal duties, and Cab angrily ran off into the jungle, where he was attacked by the Decepticon Dauros and a swarm of Seacons. The Autobots Metalhawk and Diver saw the Decepticons off, but when Donq refused to believe Cab's claim that he had seen the two Pretenders transform from humans into robots, the prince again ran off in anger. Cab was followed to a nearby beach by the Autobots' companion Shūta Gō, but Cab immediately attacked the boy, thinking that he too was a robot. Shūta was able to defuse the situation, although he couldn't hide his amusement at Cab's general lack of knowledge of western culture. Cab responded by showing off his own talents, translating the cawing of a bird as a message that the Decepticons had been spotted on the nearby "Isle of the Gods". Despite Shūta's pleas, Cab headed off to fight the Decepticons himself, only to be captured and imprisoned. The Autobots were able to follow Cab's trail to the island and defeat the Decepticons, proving their true nature to the young prince. Jealous of Shūta's friendship with the Autobots, Cab decided to attend the International School after all, so that he could travel to Japan and forge a bond with Shūta and the Pretenders himself. {{storylink|Terror!

Rather than move into the school dormitory, Cab elected to build a treehouse in the woods surrounding the Autobot base, where he lived with his parrot and armadillo, despite Shūta's incredulous reaction to his completely technology-free homestead. Eager to aid the Autobots in their mission, he and Shūta joined them in travelling to Corsica, where they befriended an ambassador's daughter named Minerva, and saved her and her family from a Decepticon plot by fighting and defeating a Destroid with their bare hands. Kidnapping!? The Targeted Jumbo Jet Minerva proceeded to enroll in the International School alongside the two boys, and the trio's determination to help the Autobots prompted Metalhawk to make them a remarkable offer. Given Master-Braces and a Transtector, Cab and the others became Autobot Headmaster Junior warriors. Birth! Headmaster Jrs

Although the Juniors primarily performed rescue operations, with Cab handling fire extinguishing, they were sent to America to train with Diver for combat scenarios. As bad luck would have it, an attack by the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors on a nearby city occurred during their visit, and the team had to spring into action alone. Cab was able to interpret the barking of a dog to help Minerva find its buried owner, and then worked on his teamwork with Shūta by taking out a Lobclaw. {{storylink|Rage!!
Correspondence from the Karin Islands came regularly for Cab, from a package of the islands' coconuts Panic! Protect the Wild Animals!! to a letter from Donq, which was delivered by the foppish Mr. Kaiser, Cab's most hated of all teachers. Donq had written to inform Cab that the Karin Islands were at last going to receive electricity, from a new tidal power plant being built on Viscas Island. Predictably, the plant became a target for the Decepticons, now joined by the powerful Godmaster brothers Hydra and Buster, who the Autobots were only just able to beat back. A Fierce Battle!! The Autobots Are in Trouble In answer to their prayers, the Autobots were soon joined by their own Godmaster, Ginrai, who Cab welcomed into their ranks with a feast of Karin Island's famous fire-pit cooking. {{storylink|Friend or Foe!?

The Juniors' summer vacation did not get off to a good start when Cab was caught peeping on the girls' swimming class towards the end of school, but things took an upward turn with the discovery of another Autobot Godmaster named Lightfoot. Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter The Juniors accompanied Metalhawk, Lander, Ginrai and Lightfoot on a camping trip into the Rocky Mountains, where Cab resolved to catch a massive king salmon and cook up a banquet for the group. He had little luck until the arrival of a forest patrolman named Ranger, who shared his special bait with Cab, allowing him to successfully make his catch. Availing himself of Ranger's offer to share his cabin when a storm struck that night, the Autobots discovered that the friendly patrolman was in fact the next Autobot Godmaster. An Enemy? The Third Godmaster, Ranger Cab and the other Juniors were later invited to France by Lightfoot to watch the finale of the World Grand Prix, and Cab severely geeked out in the presence of champion Road King, who he had sign his chest. Road King proved to be the fourth Autobot Godmaster. Assemble! The Four Godmaster Gunmen

As summer break drew towards a close, Cab took the other Juniors back to the Karin Islands. Unfortunately, Cab's return coincided with an outlandish Decepticon plot to kidnap doctors, leaving his sickly childhood friend Copo unable to receive treatment for her debilitating condition. Cab was able to help move Copo to the medical facility on Viscas Island while the united forces of the Autobot Godmasters rescued the doctors, allowing Copo to be healed, and the Juniors to properly enjoy their vacation. Save the Little Girl! The Chōjin Warriors, the Godmasters Crazy Decepticon plans were still the order of the day when the Juniors returned to school to hear stories of a mysterious fortune-teller on television who predicted disasters across the planet. All the predictions soon came true and Cab and the other Juniors had to protect a town from a raging flood, only for it all to turn out to have been yet another Decepticon scheme. Expose the Decepticons' Dark Trap!

Soon thereafter, Cab, Shūta and Minerva were at last let in on a secret the other Autobots had been keeping from them: the "Bomber Project", a plan to construct a power-up drone known as "Godbomber" for Ginrai to help him fight BlackZarak, a mighty Decepticon presently approaching from space. Super Ginrai Gets Blown Away in the Desert!? Shūta and Cab sparred with him a little to help him work through the pain of injuries caused by a recent battle with the Decepticon Overlord, God Ginrai - Into the Sky!! but they and other Autobots were able only to watch as Ginrai jetted into space and battled Overlord and BlackZarak on Earth's moon. God Ginrai - Showdown on the Surface of the Moon Ginrai ultimately prevailed, and, after his return to Earth, Godbomber even revealed a new power, transforming into a robot that Cab and the Juniors discovered they could combine their Chōkon Power to control. Destroy Godbomber!!

When the Autobots believed they had at last recruited the final Godmaster, a young man named Clouder, Cab and Shūta were somewhat suspicious of their new "teammate." Although Minerva and Ginrai brushed off their concerns, Metalhawk was not so dismissive, and eventually proved that Clouder was, in fact, a Decepticon double-agent. Secret Orders! Destroy the Autobot Base!! Unfortunately, Clouder had already supplied the Decepticons with information on the base, and had planted a series of bombs throughout the headquarters that crippled its defenses and injured Metalhawk. Cab, Shūta and Minerva were left to defend the base alone against a Decepticon onslaught, and were ultimately forced to abandon it before it was destroyed. {{storylink|Disaster!

Soon after, BlackZarak returned and was able to reach the Earth, causing the conflict to escalate as cities all over the world were attacked. Cab then participated in an all-out attack on the Decepticon base, during which BlackZarak merged with the Decepticon emperor Devil Z. The Ultimate Combination!! BlackZarak, the New Lifeform. When the composite villain moved his base of operations into the Grand Canyon, the Autobots pursued, and Cab was part of a team along with Shūta, Minerva and Ranger who were attacked by King Poseidon. Cab and Shūta tried taking the combiner on directly, but the strategy proved unsuccessful, {{storylink|Autobots! Ginrai arrived to defeat the combiner, but Metalhawk and the Juniors were badly wounded and forced to remain behind as Ginrai headed to the summit of the Matterhorn to face BlackZarak. Malevolent and Inhuman! The True Form of Devil Z During the battle, BlackZarak transformed into an even more powerful serpent mode, but as Ginrai fought on, his burning spirit was felt by Cab, Minerva and Shūta. All three Juniors suddenly found themselves transported into his chest cockpit, where their energies helped him destroy BlackZarak. His host destroyed, Devil Z raged impotently until Ginrai and the Juniors united every last drop of their power in the Final Fire Guts attack, which completely destroyed the arch-villain. In the aftermath of the battle, the Autobots were all immediately enveloped in a glow and transformed from robots back into their human forms, now without their Masterbraces. Moments later, the truth of the situation was revealed: The death of Devil Z had caused their bond to their Transtectors to be severed. Their Transtectors, however, all lived on, evolved into true super-robot lifeforms through the power of their bond. Cab's Transtector departed for space with all the others to carry on the fight against the Decepticons. A Battle... and Then...
When three monstrous, shadowy creatures attacked the Karin Islands, Cab was spoiling for a chance to fight them, only to be restrained by his guardian, Donq. A young boy, Shūta, appeared quite abruptly and joined in the effort to persude Cab to back down from the fight, but Cab responded by slugging Shūta one and telling the foreigner to keep out of it. Cab was promptly shocked into silence when the monstrous figures revealed themselves to be the Decepticon Pretenders and were engaged in battle by Shūta's Autobot friend, Metalhawk. As Metalhawk routed the Decepticons, Shūta explained the origins of the Pretenders to Cab, and promised to introduce the prince to the Autobot hero. {{storylink|Gods? Devils?
Back in Japan, Cab and Shūta attended the International School together and soon discovered that Metalhawk had recruited their classmate, Minerva. Metalhawk explained that the three kids were going to help fight the Decepticons, and after a period of intensive training, they were given Master-Braces and Transtectors and became Headmaster Juniors. Cab and Shūta immediately went joyriding in their Transtectors and ran into trouble when they encountered a Lobclaw Seacon, but Metalhawk saved them—though not without chastising them for their lack of teamwork. Headmaster Jrs Are Born

During a later battle between Metalhawk and Blood, Metalhawk summoned the Headmaster Juniors to aid in the rescue effort in the surrounding city. Living in a treehouse in the forest around the Autobot base, Cab was able to head into action quite quickly, not having to sneak out of the International School dormitory like Shūta and Minerva. The three Juniors joined up and discovered that their foes were their opposite numbers, Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, whom they soundly defeated. Destined Confrontation: The Children of Good and Evil

Cab and the Juniors soon met and befriended the Autobot Godmaster Ginrai, {{storylink|Enter on the Stage!
At one point, Cab and Shūta were captured by the Decepticons and tortured by Blood. Mega and Giga hoped that the two boys would join their twisted Decepticon family, but Shūta refuted the notion that the villains were any kind of family at all. Thankfully, they were rescued by Minerva and Ginrai, and as they recuperated, the boys laughed about how the two seemed to be filling the roles of their mother and father. The Earth Family of Good and Evil

In the final battle against BlackZarak, the villain turned on his fellow Decepticons, leading them to unite with the Autobots in defeating him. All of the Transformers boarded Grand Maximus and charged him with their energy before he crashed straight into BlackZarak, obliterating him and Devil Z. The death of Devil Z caused the bond between the humans and their Transtectors to be broken, and Cab became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. The Birth of the Super Lifeforms
When a new Transformer war erupted on Earth, Cab and Shūta decided to check out the new Supreme Commander, Star Saber, thinking that he wasn't a patch on God Ginrai. They appeared in the middle of a battle between Star Saber and the Decepticons, lecturing the adopted human sons of the two faction leaders (Jean Minakaze of the Autobots and Solon Kitakaze of the Decepticons) on how much better Ginrai was. In mid-pontification, however, the boys were attacked by Dinoforce member Kakuryū. Star Saber swooped in to save them and hurled Kakuryū over a cliff, but as the Decepticon clawed at the edge of the crevice, Star Saver showed mercy and helped him back up. This was enough to convince Cab and Shūta that Star Saber was a good egg, and they cemented their friendship with Jean. Warrior of Love, Star Saber! Jean was later invited by the boys to Cab's treehouse, but that didn't turn out to be such a good idea, since Yokuryū smashed up the place and captured Jean. Watch Out, Jean! Hurry, Star Saber!

Cab and Shūta established themselves as members of Star Saber's Autobot warriors when they and Jean donned suits of armor to become a team known as the "Victories". Cab wore a suit based on the Brainmaster warrior, Laster. The Star of Friendship, Jean and Star Saber! The Victories were soon joined by Jean's sister Patty (to whom both boys took a liking), The Strongest Partners, the Combination of Victory! and more surprisingly, by Solon, who betrayed the Decepticons when he learned his true heritage. Cab, Shūta and the other Victories were all aboard Galaxy Shuttle during the final battle between the Autobots and Deathsaurus's planet-destroying fortress. When the battle was done, they all boarded the fortress with the other Autobots and Decepticons and witnessed Deathsaurus's disclosure that the fortress contained all the Decepticon civilians. This revelation led to the laying down of Autobot and Decepticon arms and the beginning of a new age of peace. Cab and Shūta glomped Patty in happiness. {{storylink|Heroic! ==Synopsis==

From the top of the Matterhorn in the Alps, BlackZarak bombards Europe with his Devil Power, and the Autobots immediately mobilize to track down the villains. Even their allies—Cancer, Clouder, Wilder and Bullhorn, robbed of their Transtectors by Devil Z—have joined in the effort, helping to rescue people in the disaster areas despite great risk to their de-powered selves. In an underground shelter, the four youths and the dozens of survivors cluster, debating the likelihood of their survival.

Meanwhile, the Autobots head into the snowy peaks of the Alps and divide into groups to attack BlackZarak and the Decepticons from three directions. Lightfoot, Ranger and Road King are immediately spotted by the Decepticon Pretenders, who report to the other Decepticons. Overlord is about to move out and attack them, but BlackZarak holds him back and instead deals with the Godmasters from afar by burying them under an avalanche caused by his Devil Power.

Things do not go much better for Metalhawk and the Headmaster Juniors, who are immediately confronted by King Poseidon. Minerva is nearly cleaved by the Seacon combiner's blade, but Metalhawk swoops into save her, taking a blast from King Poseidon's cannons in the process. The group tries concentrating their fire on the giant, but King Poseidon retaliates with a barrage of missiles that hurls his opponents around like rag dolls. King Poseidon looms over the fallen Metalhawk and swings his sword at the Pretender, but Metalhawk blocks it with his own, and a protracted battle of strength between the two begins...

Meanwhile, Ginrai and Grand Maximus have arrived to help dig the Godmasters out, but once the task is accomplished, the group spots the pyrotechnics from the battle with King Poseidon off in the distance. Ginrai immediately takes to the air to aid Metalhawk and the Juniors, but Hydra and Buster, merged as Darkwings, stand in his way. The brothers swear to show Ginrai their true power at last, and with a cry of "Mach X Flight!", they suddenly vanish! The startled Ginrai looks around for any sign of his opponents, and is then suddenly rammed by the giant jet when it reappears behind him. Ginrai realizes that they did not truly teleport, but flew so fast that the naked eye could not follow them, and charges his body with Chōkon Power to mimic the effect for himself. Entering "Chōkon Mach Flight," Ginrai zooms towards the stunned brothers, who immediately turn tail. Once again, though, Ginrai proves to be their better, overtaking them and searing their bodies with the burning backwash of his Chōkon Power. Scarred and smoking, they fall out of the sky and crash explosively into a mountain. His way now clear, Ginrai races to the rescue of Metalhawk and blasts King Poseidon into his component parts with a God Punch. The Seacons quickly recombine, but Ginrai easily blows them into fragments with a Chōkon-powered shot from the God Cannon. Although their foe has been defeated, Metalhawk and the Juniors are badly wounded and remain behind, protected by Grand Maximus, while Ginrai and the Godmasters carry on scaling the mountain. Just before reaching the peak, Ginrai instructs the Godmasters to hold back while he makes the first strike on his own.

Up on the top of the mountain, an enraged BlackZarak punishes Hydra and Buster for their failure, repeatedly striking them with his spear. The punishment goes on for some time, until Overlord finally speaks up and stays his emperor's hand, saying that they have suffered enough. BlackZarak scoffs and hurls Overlord aside, then begins blasting the Godmaster brothers with eye-beams until they pass out from pain. Overlord rushes to their side and decries BlackZarak's actions as barbaric, but BlackZarak simply laughs in his face and says he considers Overlord to be nothing more than an insect as well. Furious, Overlord attempts to strike BlackZarak, and a brief battle between the two breaks out, brought to an end when BlackZarak impales Overlord with his spear. Terrified, Blood, Gilmer and Dauros make themselves scarce, and BlackZarak continues to torture Overlord by channeling energy through his spear...until a blast from the God Cannon knocks the weapon out of his hand! God Ginrai descends out of the sky and gets between the two Decepticons, with a stunned Overlord inquiring why he would do this for an enemy. Ginrai's answer is simple: It is because Overlord is human. BlackZarak pulls out all the stops, and the sky turns red as he unleashes his Devil Power, sending bolts of lightning lancing down around Ginrai as the Autobot attempts to help Overlord to safety. Suddenly, a volley of missiles bursts out of the ground beneath BlackZarak's feet, and he drops to his knees, his concentration broken. Sixknight has arrived to tip the scales and comes churning out of the Earth in his drill tank mode! He challenges BlackZarak to a battle and tells Ginrai to assemble the Autobots as he holds back the Decepticon leader. Quietly, Sixknight says that he is glad to have fought God Ginrai, then presses his attack...before BlackZarak bombards his body with Devil Power and causes him to explode, killing him. Ginrai returns with the Autobots just in time to witness Sixknight's death, and the stage is now set for the one, true final battle...
Notes
Lost in translation
Among the changes made by the Omni Productions dub:
*During the opening dialog, the announcer makes the cryptic statement that something strange is happening to BlackZarak.
*Wilder's cries of "God damn it!" are toned down to him shouting "WHY?!" at the top of his lungs.
*The Matterhorn is renamed "Mandoa".
*Rather than being sure that the other Godmasters are buried under the rockslide he finds, God Ginrai lands and wonder out loud if they're buried under there.
*Most of King Poseidon's dialogue is gone, replaced by menacing noises.
*Hawk tells Minerva to run, rather than hold on. Which just makes it confusing when a few seconds later she grabs on to Hawk.
*"Mach X Flight" becomes "Invisible Wings".
*Sixknight's statement that it was good to have faced Ginrai is replaced by him taunting BlackZarak.

Animation or technical errors
*Right after Overlord grabs BlackZarak's arm to stop him hitting the brothers, Hydra disappears.
*In the Omni Productions dub, MegaZarak's last line of "Those against me d-" is oddly cut off.

Continuity errors
*Where have Cancer, Clouder, Wilder and Bullhorn's Transtectors gone? They were brought to life in the previous episode, and they're nowhere to be found in this one.

Continuity notes
*The Decepticons headed for Europe in the previous episode.
*Sixknight reappears after another of his long absences. He was last seen in "Destroy Godbomber!!".
*Having doubted Devil Z since "Crisis! The Day of Human Extinction", Overlord at last stands up to his commander in this episode.

Miscellaneous trivia
*Now, you didn't really think that "The True Form of Devil Z" would actually show you the true form of Devil Z, did you? You big silly, you!
