<div>The Autobots (usually called '''Cybertrons''' in Japanese sources) are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They often find themselves defending other species against the [[Decepticon]]s and upholding justice.<br />

This is not ''always'' the case, however, as their ranks certainly contain neer-do-wells, malcontents, and unsavory types, plus the neccessities of war mean there are many with more combat-orietned alternate forms.<br />
