==Synopsis==
[[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] tracks the transwarp wavefront released by the destruction of the alien [[Planet Buster]], announcing it will arrive at [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] in a few hours and that the [[Maximal|Maximals]] are going home soon.

Meanwhile, [[Megatron (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Megatron]] has made similar calculations and is less than pleased. [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]] reports that [[Code of Hero|their attack]] on the early humans caused them to scatter, making their extinction an impossibility. Megatron decides to implement one final plan—a gamble, he notes, as his security cameras show [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] leaving the [[Darksyde|Predacon base]].

[[Silverbolt (BW)|Silverbolt]] flies to a secluded location where he meets up with Blackarachnia, delivering to her a [[graviton generator]]. He once again offers her a spot in the Maximal ranks. She refuses, telling him that she ''likes'' being a bad girl—and Silverbolt knows he likes it too. They embrace...

In another time and place, [[Predacon Command Outpost One|a Cybertronian outpost]] is violently rocked by the transwarp wavefront. The [[Tripredacus Council]] convenes, having traced the wavefront signature back to Megatron. They detonate a Cybertronian satellite to make sure the Maximal sensors don't detect the wave and send an operative to find and capture Megatron. Operating a special stealth-equipped [[transwarp cruiser]], his orders are to "terminate with extreme prejudice".

Back at the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'', the Maximals get ready for Megatron's inevitable final attack on their base. [[Waspinator]] and Inferno ready some attack systems, but [[Rampage (BW)|Rampage]] decides to take the more direct approach and assaults [[Sentinel (BW)|Sentinel]]'s shields with his weapons. The battle begins and the Predacons appear to be winning until reinforcements come from above. Megatron orders a retreat and the invisible source of the Maximals' help lands.

The ''Axalon''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s hatch opens and Silverbolt's super doggie nose smells something. All the Maximals draw their weapons as two red lasers appear out of nowhere from the hatch. Optimus Primal finally realizes that their reinforcements came in the form of a Decepticon who after the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]] was granted amnesty and rebuilt as a Predacon.

Shots are fired, knocking all of the Maximals' weapons out of their hands. The mysterious assailant jumps into the bridge and reveals himself as [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]]. He apologizes for disarming them, saying that he was concerned that he might be attacked before he could explain himself. [[Rattrap]] appears to justify his caution, saying that the only thing worse than a Predacon is a Decepticon. [[Optimus Primal/Beast Wars cartoon continuity|Optimus Primal]] shoves Rattrap aside and orders him to shut up but does inform Ravage that they've been fighting Megatron for a while in a less than friendly manner. Ravage offers the apologies of the [[Predacon Alliance]] for Megatron's actions, insisting that the Alliance did not sanction them, and says that he is here to help neutralize Megatron. But he lies about the transwarp wave, saying that it was too weak for anything but the Predacon sensors to detect and that the reason he's alone is because they detected Megatron's energy signature only, hoping to settle this "quietly".

At the Predacon base, Blackarachnia finishes work on a flying [[stasis pod]] with Silverbolt's graviton generator. Her celebration is cut short, however, when Megatron calls for her. Megatron correctly anticipates a Maximal retaliation and sends everyone but Waspinator to fortify the base. Waspinator, he sends on a "special mission" which Blackarachnia takes note of.

Ravage's transwarp cruiser takes off from the ''Axalon'' with the Maximals onboard. [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]] is still unsure about their plan, but Ravage notes that the ship provides several advantages (such as the ability to use Ravage's own cloaking ability) and Ravage observes that they have another one inside the Predacon base. This sets off alarms in [[Tarantulas's lair]] and he transforms and rolls out in the same direction as the cruiser. Ravage and the Maximals attack the Predacon base while Silverbolt ignores Optimus' orders to take down Blackarachnia, who takes off towards Waspinator's secret location.

Ravage begins firing upon the downed Predacon ship and Megatron orders his troops to keep fighting, but suddenly he is bound to his chair with energy rings as the base's power is cut. Ravage, Optimus, Rattrap, and Rhinox walk in, and Ravage places Megatron under arrest. Are the [[Beast Wars (event)|Beast Wars]] over? [[The Agenda (Part 2)|To be continued]]!

*In the opening shot, parts of Optimus Primal pre-transmetal fly at the screen.
*The Tripredacus Council shown at the beginning of the episode ''were'' meant to be the Tripredacus gestalt toy, and were even referred to by their individual names in the original script. However, time constraints prevented the renders for the figures from exactly matching the toys they were based on, so Hasbro asked that their individual names not be referred to, though the gestalt name was still used for the group.
*It's mentioned that the Axalon disappeared "last mega-cycle" which usually refers to a [[Units_of_time/Continuity#Beast_Wars_.26_Beast_Machines_cartoon|time period]] of around an hour. It may have meant to have been "deca-cycle". Or to borrow a quote, "time travel, it's funny that way."
*The battle at the end of the episode is not one of Cheetor's shining moments. *When the Maximals are getting thrown around by Rampage's initial attack on their base, Rattrap slams into the elevator door, shattering the glass. However, the cracks appear on the pane directly above and below the glass itself, making it look like Rattrap cracked ''the door itself''.

*As Ravage's cruiser approaches Earth, the attacking Predacon force is composed of Waspinator, Inferno, and Megatron. As the cruiser opens fire, Waspinator is nowhere to be seen and Quickstrike is on the battlefield.
*While the Maximals jump from Ravage's cruiser, the auto-guns have no effect on them whatsoever, while they've dropped them before easily.

[[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] recovers consciousness, and realizes he's on the ''[[Trypticon (Prime)|Nemesis]]''. Unable to contact base, he begins to explore, but while hiding from [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicons]], he runs into [[Starscream (Prime)|Starscream]]. Starscream is reluctant to help, and strikes at Bulkhead, so Bulkhead returns the favor by jumping on Starscream and literally beating the life out of him. Guiltily justifying his actions by muttering that Starscream left him no choice, Bulkhead returns to his exploration.

Some 24 hours before, Starscream reaches the wreck of the ''[[Harbinger]]'' in his search for [[energon]]. Instead, he finds a laboratory containing five [[protoform]]s. Elsewhere, Bulkhead picks up a strong energon reading. Starscream finds information in the ''Harbinger''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> computer on cloning, and fires up the lab equipment. Soon, five [[Starscream clone (Prime)|duplicates of himself]] stand before him. Meanwhile Bulkhead, clambering into a hole he's found, realizes there's boxed energon at the bottom of it, and that the ''Nemesis'' is arriving overhead, ready to pick it up. As he struggles, he falls among the energon and, losing consciousness, is transported up to the Decepticon ship with it.

Starscream discovers that his clones are complete duplicates of himself, personality, memories, and all. The one significant difference seems to be that the clones have intact [[Transformation Cog]]s, and thus can fly. As the ''Harbinger'' is able to track where the ''Nemesis'' is, he sends his clones to eliminate [[Megatron (Prime)|Megatron]] once and for all. The five clones board the ''Nemesis'' and split up, one of them running into Bulkhead, who terminates the clone. The original Starscream is dismayed to discover that he feels the same pain his clones feel. Bulkhead locates a comm unit and attempts to use it to contact the other Autobots, only to set off an alarm and bring Vehicons running. As he escapes, the Vehicons are distracted by another Starscream clone, but unbeknownst to anyone, Bulkhead has inadvertently triggered a Decepticon beacon.

The beacon is detected by [[Airachnid]], who releases her [[Insecticon (Prime)|Insecticon]] army from their [[stasis pod]]s to go terminate Megatron. The activity is detected by the Autobots, and [[Optimus Prime (Prime)|Optimus Prime]], [[Bumblebee (Prime)|Bumblebee]] and [[Arcee (Prime)|Arcee]] [[GroundBridge]] to the location to investigate, discovering Airachnid in the middle of sending her troops. She sets some of the Insecticons after the trio, but Arcee bursts through the explosions and begins pursuing her. Optimus and Bumblebee begin mowing down Insecticons.

Bulkhead crawls through a service duct, and spots Megatron. Megatron starts heading for the bridge in response to reports that Starscream's there.

Arcee continues her pursuit of Airachnid, despite having to contend with two Insecticons. After the Insecticons are taken out, Airachnid disappears underground, and Arcee follows.

On the ''Nemesis'' bridge, Megatron finds himself face-to-faces with the four remaining Starscream clones. He offers to make them all [[second-in-command]] if they terminate Starscream for him, but the clones are stable enough to keep to the mission. Before they can open fire, the ship is attacked by Insecticons. The distraction is all Megatron needs, and he starts taking out clones. The last of the clones manages to escape as the Insecticon attack intensifies, and Megatron finally checks on what's going on outside.

Optimus and Bumblebee finish off the last of the Insecticons that were attacking them, and start looking for Arcee. Their comrade is currently deep underground hunting Airachnid. Arcee exchanges fire with her foe, and manages to manoeuvre Airachnid onto one of the open stasis pods, which promptly closes and puts the rogue Decepticon on ice. The Insecticons attacking the ''Nemesis'' all immediately stop their attack, drop on to the ship's hull, and proclaim their loyalty to a bemused Megatron.

Within the ''Nemesis'', Bulkhead finds the ship's power core, and hits it very hard, causing it to explode. The ship slowly begins its descent. As he runs to the exit, Bulkhead encounters the Starscream clone, who promptly takes off. Bulkhead is puzzled at the fact that Starscream is alive and can transform. Once the ''Nemesis'' has crashed to earth, Bulkhead is able to drive off and speed away. He soon reaches base, where the Autobots are inspecting the stasis-locked Airachnid.

The last Starscream clone returns to the ''Harbinger'' and lets the original Starscream know the mission failed. He's about to shoot his progenitor, when Starscream turns and blasts him, complaining as the clone dies about the pain he shared with him.

* Previously, one Insecticon was so powerful that it was able to fight toe-to-toe with Megatron. (Keep in mind that Megatron's gun was disabled with webbing during that first fight, stopping him from making an easy kill.) The Insecticons in this episode are considerably weaker, enough that several go down in one hit and another is taken out by crashing into a tree. Not that this downgrade is anything special or even really surprising—it's a widely observed phenomenon with armies of generic henchmen in fiction of all kinds. If one simply ''has'' to rationalise it, though, it could be pointed out that the Autobots being able to fight them in an open battlefield with full mobility and access to ranged weapons would probably be a lot easier than trying to fight one in a closed arena with your [[fusion cannon|most powerful weapon]] disabled.
*So where does Starscream keep getting those replacement missiles from, anyway?

Not that this downgrade is anything special or even really surprising—it's a widely observed phenomenon with armies of generic henchmen in fiction of all kinds. If one simply ''has'' to rationalise it, though, it could be pointed out that the Autobots being able to fight them in an open battlefield with full mobility and access to ranged weapons would probably be a lot easier than trying to fight one in a closed arena with your [[fusion cannon|most powerful weapon]] disabled.
