:The Seacons are scurvy Predacon space pirates in the Beast Wars II portion of the Beast Era continuity they is!

The Space Pirate Seacons scour the spaceways for treasure and power. Though they are Predacon by creation, they hold no true affiliation with Galvatron and his crew. Led by Halfshell, they prove themselves troublesome for Maximal and Predacon alike!

The team consists of:

* Halfshell
* Scylla
* Coelagon
* Terrormander
* Sea Phantom

They can combine to form God Neptune.

(Note: The term "Seacons" does not appear on the packaging for the toy but does appear in their catalogue advertisements and in the fiction-itself.)
Beast Wars Toyline
The bio for Transmetal 2 Cybershark mentions that he "honed his skills while bounty hunting a rogue band of Cybertronian space pirates." Considering the timing in the appearance of the two toys and Hasbro's then-concurrent attempts to put in fan nods, it is generally thought the Seacons were meant to be these pirates.

This theory was later confirmed by Ben Yee in personal conversation.
*God Neptune (Multi-pack, 1998)
: Japanese ID number: D-21

: Sold only as a boxed set of five toys, God Neptune is a redeco of most of the Generation 1 Seacon team; not only does the set not include a redeco of Nautilator, but the weapons and gun-mode stands for the individuals are also not included. Since the set uses the Scramble City style of contruction, the body and limbs are interchangable with similar-build combiner teams.

: For unknown reasons, a great number of unboxed God Neptune sets --lacking all of their accessories, including combiner parts-- ended up available on the secondary market. These went for considerably less than the "complete" releases, naturally.

: (The complete set of Generation 1 Seacon molds (all six members with all accessories) were slated to be released as an exclusive set during Energon as Piranhaking, but as of now remains unreleased.)

*Halfshell (1998)

: Available only in a five-piece Ultra-level multi-pack with his teammates, Halfshell transforms into a mechanical tortoise, a redeco of the Generation 1 Seacon Snaptrap. A lever on his back makes the large cannons over his beast-mode head move back and forth in a "pom-pom" reciprocating motion. He forms the torso of the combined mode God Neptune, but since the mold uses the Scramble City style of combination, he can use any limb-robot of similar construction. Halfshell lacks the large rifle from the original release of the mold, however.

: This mold was also used to make Turtler. It was also slated to be released as Energon Snaptrap, as part of an exclusive Piranhaking multi-pack that as of now remains unreleased.

*Scylla (1998)

: Available only in the God Neptune multi-pack, Scylla is a redeco of the Generation 1 Seacon Tentakil, transforming into an ambulatory squid-monster. Like her fellow God Neptune partners, Scylla lacks her individual weapons and and "weapon stand" parts. Being part of the Scramble City design, she can form the arm or leg to any compatible super robot, but her standard placement is as the left leg to God Netpune.

: This mold was also used to make the Masterforce Seacon Tentakil. It was also slated to be released as Energon Tentakil, as part of an exclusive Piranhaking multi-pack that as of now remains unreleased.

*Coelagon (1998)

: A redeco of the Generation 1 Seacon Skalor, Coelagon transforms into a robotic piranha-ish fish with limbs. However, he lacks the rifles and stand-pieces of the original version of the mold. He was available only as part of the God Neptune gift set with his teammates. Since he uses the Scramble City style of combination, he can form the arm or leg to any combined orbot of similar construction, but his nominal place is as the left arm of God Neptune.

: This mold was also used to make Gulf. It was also slated to be released as Energon Archerbot, as part of an exclusive Piranhaking multi-pack which as of now remains unreleased.

*Terrormander (1998)

: A redeco of the Generation 1 Seacon Seawing, Terrormander transforms into a robotic manta ray with legs. However, he lacks the rifles and stand-pieces of the original version of the mold. He was available only as part of the God Neptune gift set with his teammates. Since he uses the Scramble City style of combination, he can form the arm or leg to any combined robot of similar construction, but his nominal place is as the right leg of God Neptune.

: This mold was used to make Kraken. It was also slated to be released as Energon Seawing, as part of an exclusive Piranhaking multi-pack that as of now remains unreleased.

*Sea Phantom (1998)

: A redeco of the Generation 1 Seacon Overbite, Sea Phantom transforms into a robotic shark with limbs. However, he lacks the rifle and stand-pieces of the original version of the mold. He was available only as part of the God Neptune gift set with his teammates. Since he uses the Scramble City style of combination, he can form the arm or leg to any combined orbot of similar construction, but his nominal place is as the right arm of God Neptune.

: This mold was used to make the Masterforce Seacon drone Overbite. It was also slated to be released as Energon Overbite, as part of an exclusive Piranhaking multi-pack that as of now remains unreleased.
