After the [[All Spark]] shard was retrieved from [[NEST]]'s secure bunker at [[Diego Garcia]], Long Haul, [[Rampage (ROTF)|Rampage]], [[Mixmaster (ROTF)|Mixmaster]], [[Scalpel]], [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]] and [[Ze little one|another Constructicon]] secreted themselves aboard the ''[[Bayos]]'' freighter heading towards the North Atlantic. Once the ship passed over the [[Laurentian Abyss]], the Decepticons jumped overboard and dived down to where [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron's]] broken body lay. Scalpel ordered the death of the smallest Constructicon to rebuild Megatron, an request that Long Haul and the others obliged with. Soon, Megatron was reborn!

Some time later, Long Haul and another Constructicon with the same [[body-type]] were present during the climactic battle in [[Egypt]] between the [[Autobot]]/NEST forces and [[The Fallen]]'s Decepticons. Long Haul and several other Constructicons waited in a quarry in their construction vehicle disguises until the [[human]]s [[Seymour Simmons]], [[Leo Spitz]] and their Autobot guardians [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]] approached. The Constructicons [[combiner|combined]] into the mighty Devastator and attacked.

Elsewhere, the other Long Haul joined [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] and the other Decepticons in their search for [[Sam Witwicky]] and the [[Matrix of Leadership]]. Long Haul fought against the NEST forces in the Egyptian town near the great ruins of the pyramids and was destroyed during the [[United States Air Force]] air strike. Meanwhile, Devastator had shrugged off the Autobot twins and was busy demolishing the [[Great Pyramid of Giza]] when Simmons called upon the [[United States Navy]] to attack Devastator. Long Haul served as the Decepticons' ground-based heavy-hitter, with his long-range [[charged grenade]]s and flamethrower. He could also initiate a combat repair sequence that would rapidly regenerate his health, much like the Autobot [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]]'s repair ability.

After [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]] cleared out most of the [[Protectobot Scout|Protectobots]] from [[Shanghai]] construction area, Long Haul was deployed to upload a virus into all of the [[NEST]] communications arrays in the area. Soon after, Long Haul was sent to the Shanghai spiral highway to destroy two NEST field headquarters and their defenders, drawing the Autobot [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] out into the open. Both combatants were roughly evenly matched, but Long Haul's long-range charged grenades and his combat repair sequence gave him the edge to defeat Ironhide this time. Long Haul was soon sent back to the spiral highway to follow in the wake of a cloaked Autobot probe, which was, to add insult to injury, created by salvaging Decepticon technology. The Decepticon shrugged off attacks by the Autobot defenders, chased after the probe and destroyed it when it revealed itself.

Later, Long Haul was sent to the [[United States]] West Coast oil refinery to capture the human female known as [[Mikaela Banes]], who might know the location of an [[All Spark (Movie)|All Spark fragment]]. He destroyed numerous buildings to force the engineers to evacuate, then brought them to an interrogator probe that plumbed the minds of these primitive organic beings. Though none of the subjects survived the torture, one did provide the location of the human female before he expired, and Long Haul was able to capture her. Unfortunately, she was rescued by the Autobots soon after Long Haul left the area.

After Megatron's glorious resurrection, Long Haul was deployed to the East Coast industrial area to chase after and destroy yet another cloaked Autobot probe. Soon after, he was sent to the East Coast city with the L-train to send a message to the pathetic humans that their NEST and the Autobots could not protect them. Despite overwhelming odds, Long Haul attacked and destroyed the primitive power plant and the crude televisual broadcasting station.

Following their journey to Egypt, the Decepticons discovered that the Autobot collaborators had given the human insects the [[Axiom Gun]], which was being used in [[Cairo]] to attack the Decepticons. At the Shanghai spiral highway, Ironhide was eager for payback for his earlier defeat at the hands of Long Haul. Once again, both were roughly evenly matched in terms of physical strength and firepower, but in the end, Ironhide's experience and cunning prevailed.

In all three modes, Soundwave features a spring-loaded missile launcher which fires a missile intended to resemble [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]], in reference to the scene in the film in which he launches the feline fiend down at Earth. In his (rather stocky) robot mode, Soundwave has blue light piping in his visor, but it is disabled, having been painted over in red; his other modes feature a second, armored version of his face, which is stored on the back of his robot mode. Probably to avoid giving the toy a very obviously two-headed robot mode, the alternate face lacks any paint details, and has an unpainted blue visor. In this mode, he sits so low that it's difficult to roll him without scraping his undercarriage, unless you perform some careful shaping after transforming him (a trait shared by some other live-action movie Deluxe cars, such as [[Bumblebee (Movie)/toys|Bumblebee]] and [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]]). Although easy to miss, Sideswipe has more than one place to seat Epps in robot mode, as both seats and both forearms provide Human Alliance human figures a place to stand or sit. The passenger's seat transforms into a missile launcher slung over Sideswipe's other shoulder. Like the Deluxe figure, the HA Sideswipe suffers from an excessive amount of kibble, as nearly the entire top of the vehicle mode is folded up into a backpack, with only the rear bumper being incorporated as Sideswipe's chest. Unmentioned in the instructions, there is a fold-out handle under the swiveling roof section that lines up over Epps' head when seated behind Sideswipe's shoulder, implying that the tailpipes might actually be considered another cannon or scope. This possibly explains why said tailpipes are transparent.

In this mode, he sits so low that it's difficult to roll him without scraping his undercarriage, unless you perform some careful shaping after transforming him (a trait shared by some other live-action movie Deluxe cars, such as [[Bumblebee (Movie)/toys|Bumblebee]] and [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]]). He has the Corvette twin flag logo sculpted on both the front of the vehicle mode and on the robot mode sternum, although neither is actually painted. Sideswipe's [[Mech Alive]] gimmick is in his knees—bending his legs causes the blue armor plates on his knees to extend. He does have wheels in his feet like his character model, but the toy's feet have been designed in such a way that it can stand alone. The bonnet halves that become Sideswipe's kibble-backpack are highly posable due to the way the hinges work and can be reshaped in several ways, including wrap-around chest armor and bat-like wings. Rounding out his robot-mode awesomeness, his hips have an "invisible joint" and moving pistons, while his "blades" are geared to spin out in unison. He is ''totally awesome''.

:Sideswipe's instructions aren't clear as to how his torso is supposed to connect with his chest in robot mode. The torso piece has a square peg on top of it and there is a corresponding square hole between the two screws holding the front of his chest together. Getting his torso section in front of his arm struts can be a somewhat snug fit. Despite this, the chest peg does have a habit of popping loose while posing the upper body, but can easily be fixed with a thin piece of card.

:Like all [[Human Alliance]] figures, Sideswipe is designed to allow his accompanying human figure, in this case [[Robert Epps]], to ride inside. While in many ways simply a larger version of the Deluxe toy, it has several improvements. The wheeled feet now fold out into a stand system, allowing Sideswipe to stand without having to balance on the wheels, and his scissors are now rubberized to prevent injury. The scissor-hands can also be slotted into a gear system connected to the front wheels which cause them to spin as the wheels are turned. Although easy to miss, Sideswipe has more than one place to seat Epps in robot mode, as both seats and both forearms provide Human Alliance human figures a place to stand or sit. The passenger's seat transforms into a missile launcher slung over Sideswipe's other shoulder. Like the Deluxe figure, the HA Sideswipe suffers from an excessive amount of kibble, as nearly the entire top of the vehicle mode is folded up into a backpack, with only the rear bumper being incorporated as Sideswipe's chest. Unmentioned in the instructions, there is a fold-out handle under the swiveling roof section that lines up over Epps' head when seated behind Sideswipe's shoulder, implying that the tailpipes might actually be considered another cannon or scope. This possibly explains why said tailpipes are transparent.

:Surprisingly, Sideswipe has a battle mask! Or rather, his normal head IS his battle mask, and one can lift the top portion of his forehead to reveal a thin sliver of his "real" face. It looks...odd. It's probably best to leave the thing down and never speak of this feature.

She's chimerical in nature and is constantly changing her alt-mode in an effort to go as fast as possible (maybe that's why her robot mode always looks different!). She [[Arcee (G1)|previously had a hover-car form]], but on Earth takes a modified bike mode. Arcee answered the call from Optimus Prime to join his Autobots on Earth. Her consciousness was split between three motorcycles, all which could transform into individual robots, yet all three together were considered simply "Arcee." Despite this, all three robots have their own names. The reddish-pink one being Arcee, the purple/blue on named [[Chromia]], and the purple-pink is [[Flare-up]]. Her components also have the ability to recombine into a single robot mode.<ref>The Arcee components combining into one robot mode is not shown in the film, but in all other media.</ref> Under Optimus Prime's command, she was part of the Autobot/human military alliance known as [[NEST]], whose job was to hunt the remaindered Decepticons hiding across the globe.

Arcee and the rest of NEST were able to trace two Decepticons hidden in [[Shanghai]], [[China]]. When one of them, [[Sideways (ROTF)|Sideways]], revealed himself, the three components of Arcee were released from a NEST truck trailer. Though Arcee was able to surround Sideways with herself and cover him in firepower, the Decepticon was able to elude her by jumping through a building. Unfortunately for Sideways, Arcee was also accompanied by [[Sideswipe (ROTF)|Sideswipe]], who quickly put the Decepticon down.

While not on missions, Arcee was parked with the other Autobots in their hanger at [[Diego Garcia]]. It was here that the Autobots received word from the [[President of the United States]], via [[Theodore Galloway|Director Galloway]], that the White House was concerned that the Autobots' living on Earth was the reason for the Decepticon activity, and that if need be, they would ask the Autobots to leave. Later, after [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] died in battle and [[The Fallen]] issued an ultimatum to Earth, the US government decided that the Autobots would be shipped back to Diego Garcia.

NEST had a different idea, and instead shipped Arcee and the other Autobots to [[Egypt]] on the advice of [[Sam Witwicky]], who had the means to resurrect Optimus Prime. During the climactic battle between NEST and The Fallen's Decepticons, Sam and Mikaela attempted to make their way through the bombed-out Egyptian town that had become the battlefield. In robot mode, there is a spring-loaded missile between the tailpipes on Chromia's left hand in addition to the aforementioned non-firing blaster-stand. There is also a piece on the bottom of the vehicle mode (or back of the robot mode) that folds out, but there is no indication in the instructions as to what this piece is for. However, the piece can slide into a similar piece in the later Arcee toy, starting the supposed combined mode.

:While the instructions depict the motorcycle seat remaining flat so that it ends up covering the bottom wheel, the robot mode more closely resembles the movie design if the seat is folded in and locked into a slot on the motorcycle's bottom, as shown on the back of the packaging. The packaging photo also shows Chromia's front wheel resting behind the robot's shoulders, while the instructions leave it above her head. In addition, the stand can also be attached to right arm as an inordinately large handgun by sliding the two pegs inside the gun into two slots on the inside of the arm.
