Blurr
:Blurr is an Autobot from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Blurr is a bot of action. And words. A lot of words. A lot of words said at high speed.

An intelligence agent in the Cybertron Elite Guard, Blurr tends to barrel ahead with whatever he's doing and simply expects everyone else to keep pace... be it on a mission or in simple conversation. His motor-mouth and penchant for tangents tend to leave others in the dust, forcing them to ask him to repeat things.

Blurr initially became known to the Autobots on Earth through his participation in Master Disaster's Street Demon races. This was because Master Disaster manipulated him using a remote control that contained an AllSpark fragment.

Blurr proved impossible to beat on the race course; under Master Disaster's control, Blurr used aggressive tactics and sped past Bumblebee twice, even though the yellow Autobot was using his rocket boosters.

Later, the Key detected the AllSpark fragment, so Sari stole the remote control to investigate it, which apparently broke Master Disaster's control over Blurr. When Blitzwing was about to attack Bumblebee, Blurr charged off a bridge and played a mid-air game of chicken with Blitzwing, causing the Decepticon to veer off and crash into a skyscraper. Later that night, Bumblebee was on the roof of the Autobots' factory base when he spotted Blurr driving down a nearby highway past the building. Bee called out a thank you, but Blurr gave no response. Velocity

Blurr intercepted a transmission between Megatron and a double agent on Cybertron revealing that Bulkhead was the best space bridge technician in the entire galaxy, and would thus be a target for kidnapping. Blurr sped off to try to stop Megatron, but was instead stopped by Bumblebee. The yellow bot chased him around for a while, until he finally knocked Blurr off the road. This angered Blurr, so he transformed into robot mode, introduced himself and his mission, and gave Bumblebee the chewing out of a lifetime, all in about thirty seconds. Bumblebee missed everything he said past the first sentence.

Later, at the Autobot base, Blurr again introduced himself and explained his mission, this time to the entire Autobot crew, minus Bulkhead. They still had trouble understanding him, but were able to make out the fact that Bulkhead was an expert and that Isaac Sumdac had aided Megatron in building a space bridge.

Blurr led Bumblebee, Optimus, and Prowl to Megatron's base. They had a brief encounter with Blitzwing and Lugnut, whom Blurr quickly caught in stasis cuffs. After watching, Bumblebee reluctantly admitted that he was no longer the fastest thing on wheels. The Autobots managed to reach Megatron's throne room, but Blurr was quickly defeated by Scrapper. A Bridge Too Close, Part I

After escaping from Scrapper, Blurr stasis-cuffed the Coward Starscream. As fast as he is, though, Blurr failed to get out of the way of the Egomaniac Starscream, who crashed into both him and Coward Starscream, getting them caught in his cement overcoat and sending them all tumbling into the space bridge. Bulkhead attempted to recall them, but explained that the targeting coordinates of the bridge were never set, meaning that they could have been sent anywhere in the galaxy. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Though caught in a cement block with the Coward and Egomaniac Starscream clones and floating across a random part of space, Blurr was able to escape due to the clone's efforts. By ricocheting off meteors, moons, and other debris, Blurr was amazingly able to run all the way back to Cybertron. But when he returned, he was greeted by Longarm Prime, who wasn't happy to hear Blurr's news that he would be able to identify the traitor by examining Shockwave's voice sample. Longarm attacked Blurr, who sped away. Longarm transformed into Shockwave, and noted that he didn't need to catch to Blurr, only trap him. Shockwave used the building's main computer to lock down the corridors where Blurr had fled through. Trapped, Blurr was crushed between two closing walls.

Longarm later handed off the blue cube that remained to an unwitting Cliffjumper, requesting he dispose of the "sensitive material". Cliffjumper then dumped Blurr's remains into an incinerator. TransWarped

It would seem, however, that the cube's identity was found out and saved from a fiery fate, as Cliffjumper was later seen carrying the Blurr-cube with him to the Stunticons' show. The Stunti-Con Job
At the battle for the Decepticon Space Bridge, Blurr joined his fellow speed warrior, Bumblebee, in taking down Blitzwing and Lugnut. They used their speed to first confuse their opponents, then slapped them with some stasis cuffs. As the Decepticons fell over, paralyzed, the pair of Autobots speedsters skipped off while merrily whistling. The Cool Episode 7
Due to his leg design, the very middle of Blurr's rear wheels are the only parts that roll, while the sides do not. These parts stick out a hair, though, so his mobility in vehicle mode is unhindered.

:The fin on the top of his head is molded in bendy rubber, which is fortunate, as it'd probably snap off really easily if it wasn't. * At the 2008 Cartoon Network panel, it was revealed that Blurr's design has a few small homages to Transtech Cheetor, mainly the "hollow" wheels in his legs.

* Aside from the obvious homage aspect, Blurr also has the same voice actor as his Generation 1 inspiration, though Moschitta's speed-speech skill is given a different twist, namely that he no longer repeats himself.

*Character designer Derrick J. Wyatt put Blurr's "still-beating spark" in the animation model for the compacted cube. However, this more detailed model was never used, and Blurr's spark was not shown in the episode. His life-or-death status is thus left ambiguous in the episode (though Wyatt contends that characters are not really dead until they turn black and white). Of course, he was still dumped into an incinerator...

* At least, that's what Cliffjumper was told to do, but in the recent BotCon comic, Cliffjumper was seen still holding Blurr's cubed form, so maybe there's hope yet.
Arcee pursues the wounded, fleeing, and tremendously dangerous Decepticon Space Case, who is headed into a densely populated city. Despite Space Case's engine damage, he still has a significant speed advantage over Arcee. As she pauses to consider her options, she receives a holographic communication from Ratchet.

The Autobot medic reports that Sam Witwicky and Bumblebee have survived their encounter with Space Case with no serious injuries, and suggests that Arcee meet back up with them. Arcee cuts him off abruptly, inwardly observing that while Ratchet thinks she continues to chase Space Case out of a misplaced sense of pride, that's not really what she's doing at all.

Space Case, meanwhile, has gotten sidetracked by his quest for repairs; specifically, he has chosen to wade into Denton's Auto Mart and demand all their spare Cybertronian parts and a technician to repair his engine with them. Not only does this scheme meet with predictably little success, it delays him long enough for Arcee to catch up to him. Panicking, Space Case throws Arcee through a storefront and takes to the air in another attempt to escape.

Arcee, determined not to let anything keep her down, speeds after Space Case, uses a building to ramp up to his altitude, and destroys his other engine. Space Case goes plummeting into the distance, headed for the waterfront. As he vanishes from sight, he promises to be back. Arcee knows she'll be ready.
*The comic comes free with Target's exclusive Dark of the Moon Cyberglyphics-themed redeco of Arcee and takes place some time after Transformers: Bumblebee.
*Denton's Auto Mart is presumably a reference to editor Denton Tipton.
*Bumblebee and Sam are mentioned by Ratchet but never actually appear on-panel.
*Someone must have cut-and-pasted some legalese for the indicia, because licensing information for both Lockheed's Raptor and Sikorsky's Pave Low appear inside the front cover.

Errors
*When Arcee slashes Space Case's engine, the blade comes out of her left (non-blade) forearm.
*The premise of this issue seems to be that Arcee has to stop Space Case because he defeated her earlier. That...that's pretty much exactly about pride, Arcee.
Decepticon master strategist Hatchet is most famous for formulating devastating counter-attacks against Autobot defenses. Yet as a member of the Dreads infiltration and assassination team, he also plays another role, taking on the dirtiest jobs available personally and exterminating his targets with a brutal and efficient finality.
When Sentinel Prime was being retrieved from Earth's Moon, Hatchet, Crowbar, and Crankcase surfaced quietly and secretly hitched a ride on the Autobots' shuttle back to Earth. Dark of the Moon (novel)

After Sentinel Prime was retrieved from Earth's Moon and reactivated, Megatron put into motion the plan that had been waiting in the wings for hundreds of years. With the human Sam Witwicky believing that the Decepticons wished to capture Sentinel and force him to use the control pillar to activate his space bridge, Crankcase, Hatchet and Crowbar were sent to pursue the Autobots. After Crowbar disposed of Seymour Simmons, Hatchet and Crankcase leaped to attack, only for the Autobots to break suddenly and deploy their Stealth Force mode. Hatchet was targeted by the Autobot Mirage, who embedded his anchored blades into the Decepticon's back, and corralled Hatchet into the firing line of Bumblebee and Sideswipe. Mirage then tossed the Decepticon into the oncoming side of the highway, where he slammed into a passing car and was destroyed. Dark of the Moon (film)
* Hatchet (Cyberverse Commander, 2011)
**Series: 1
**Number: 007
**Japanese ID number: CV21
**Accessories: 2 attack drones/alpha-rez cannons

:Unlike his onscreen appearance, Cyberverse Hatchet transforms into a modified Eurofighter Typhoon jet. He includes two attack drones that can be carried under his wings in vehicle mode or transformed into two cannons, one single- and one multi-barreled. These cannons can then be combined end-to-end to form a larger two-handled rifle. Dispite having a "beast" mode, his claws are still designed to be able to hold Cyberverse-scale weapons. He has sculpted "muscle" detailing on his torso, and the jet exhaust around his neck resembles a collar. His jet mode has flip-out landing gear in the nose.

:In an undocumented step of his transformation, the flap behind his cockpit (at the base of his robot mode tail) flips back to cover much of the open space in his torso.

Notes
* An early working name for him was "Dirtbag".
* Several giant versions of Hatchet with back-mounted guns were present in the opening battle scene of Dark of the Moon.
