Fassbinder was hard at work in Leo's makeshift situation room, and in response to Sam Witwicky's skepticism towards their sacred truth-finding mission laid his new acquaintance's doubts to rest with a spirited defense of the internet as an information source. Revenge of the Fallen (film)
Sam met Leo when moving into his dorm room, and was quickly introduced to his roommate's... eccentricities. Leo hastily escorted Sam into a makeshift situation room, where his buddies Fassbinder and Sharsky were hard at work chronicling the breaking story in Shanghai. Leo was crestfallen when he failed to impress his new roomie with his media empire, nor even the kitten calendars, but he ultimately shrugged it off and showed Sam the woman he intended to one day marry, Alice. Later that night he dragged Sam to the first fraternity party of the year, where he believed he was certain to get his "Spitzy Spitz" on.

Days later he had concocted a subtle and nuanced plan to woo Alice by presenting her with a meat-laden pizza. Unfortunately she brushed him off, and was ultimately more interested in Leo's roommate's scribbles. She didn't even grant Leo's humble request to watch! Women. Of course, shortly afterwards he discovered it was all an alien plot to silence his website's truth-finding mission. Realizing he had led his newfound friends into danger, he fled only to be captured by Grindor and taken to Megatron.

Curiously, the Decepticon leader seemed uninterested in Leo, apparently playing coy with the intrepid web journalist while he waxed loquacious about dissecting Sam. Thankfully the Autobots arrived, and understanding the crucial asset Leo represented assigned Bumblebee to safely evacuate him.

Now a fugitive alongside his friends, Leo's savvy again proved the key to unraveling the mystery as he used his inside contacts to lead Sam to former government agent Seymour Simmons. Though he and Simmons had crossed swords more than once on the internet, Leo was magnanimous, extending the olive branch to his rival. Thus, Simmons allowed Leo to play a central role in their crafty plan to infiltrate the Smithsonian Institute National Air and Space Museum. Successfully beguiling the guards, Leo took out several of them before his ninja-like moves proved a little too smooth, and he applied his taser to himself... in the gonads.

Leo recovered quickly, and was whisked away with the others to Egypt when the ancient Decepticon turncoat Jetfire opened a space bridge. Though he employed the catlike grace he was known for, his pride and joy was ultimately dealt another blow when Sam's girlfriend unceremoniously landed on it. Beginning to crack under the pressure of his awesome destiny, Leo nonetheless soldiered on, requiring only minor tasering from Simmons in order to remind him of his duty to Mother Earth and the human race.

Leo showed his uncanny powers of reasoning and skepticism as the group approached the Tomb of the Primes, his insightful observations leading Sam to discover the wonders hiding under his very nose. His steely resolve was likewise proven as he showed himself an able ally to Simmons in the decisive final battle. Resting only when the job was done, Leo stood as a true hero for our times. Revenge of the Fallen (film)
Following the Battle of Autobot City in 2005, Scourge was created from the remains of Thundercracker by Unicron. Scourge was designated commander of his legion of huntsmen, the Sweeps, and traveled with his new leader, Galvatron, back to Cybertron. Galvatron, Scourge and Cyclonus then returned to Autobot City and sent the remaining Autobots fleeing into outer space.

After blasting their ship, the Decepticons believed the Autobots dead. Unicron sent a painful message to Galvatron, informing him he was wrong. Galvatron argued the point until Scourge reminded his leader "we belong to him". The Decepticons then tracked the Autobots to the Planet of Junk where Scourge and the Sweeps dismembered Ultra Magnus and stole the Matrix of Leadership. Unicron learned of Galvatron's intended rebellion and attacked Cybertron. Whether Scourge, who was vocally loyal to Unicron, fought to protect Cybertron is unknown. The Transformers: The Movie

After the Decepticons were sent packing to Chaar, Cyclonus and Scourge went on an expedition to track down their lost leader, Galvatron, who hadn't been seen since Unicron went kablooey. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1 They found Galvatron soaking in a lava pit on Thrull, and much to their disappointment, discovered their leader had gone totally nuts.
Scourge and his Sweeps were working with Galvatron and Cyclonus to hunt Rodimus Prime, when they came across the Autobot Mausoleum in deep space. Infiltrating the space barge, they continued their attack on the Autobots until Optimus Prime himself rose from the grave to fight back. Scourge and his huntsmen fled before the former Autobot leader, forcing Galvatron and Cyclonus to withdraw as well. Dark Awakening

Scourge and Cyclonus were hunting the Aerialbot called Air Raid for sport, but were caught in an ambush when the other Aerialbots jumped them in an asteroid field. The two Decepticons fled through a nearby vortex and crashed on the peaceful planet known as Paradron. Finding the world rich with energon resources, Scourge and Cyclonus immediately alerted Galvatron to their find and began to plunder the world of energy. Fight or Flee

When Octane took Trypticon to Carbombya without permission, Scourge came with Galvatron and the other Decepticons to chastise the fueler for disobedience. His discovery of super-energon made from Carbombyan oil temporarily assuaged Galvatron's anger, but once the Decepticons were forced out of Carbombya by the Autobots, Galvatron expelled Octane as a traitor to the cause. Thief in the Night Sometime later, Scourge was hunting Octane on Cybertron with Cyclonus and the Sweeps, when their prey fled underground into the Decepticon Crypt. Scourge would prove to be a very poor leader, with his followers, the Sweeps, refusing his order to follow Octane below (though they were scared to death of Cyclonus). Starscream's Ghost
He was later possessed by the disembodied ghost of Starscream, though this eventually became a mutual partnership. Starscream intended to help Unicron turn Cybertron into his new body in exchange for a new body of his own. Scourge began to have second thoughts about this until Unicron reminded him that "what I have given you, I can also take away". Scourge eventually left Unicron and rejoined the Decepticons. While searching for a new source of anti-electrons, the Decepticons attempted to raid Unicron's brain. At one point, Autobot commander Rodimus Prime was separated from the Matrix of Leadership by Galvatron. Galvatron, who was haunted by the spirits within it, instructed Scourge to dispose of the Matrix. Scourge decided to use the power of the Matrix to his advantage and installed it within his chest. Very bad idea. The Matrix proved incompatible with Decepticon programming, causing Scourge to morph into a hideous freak with the power driving him mad. Scourge attempted to seize control of the Decepticons until Hot Rod took back the Matrix. Scourge was left at the mercy of a very unhappy Galvatron, but somehow beat the reaper yet again. The Burden Hardest to Bear
In 2007, the Decepticons stole the key to the Plasma Energy Chamber on Cybertron, and Scourge was set with infiltrating the chamber whilst the other Decepticons performed a full-scale assault on the planet as a diversion. He succeeded, but inserting the key into the chamber led to a plasma energy burst that very nearly killed him. He was saved by an energon infusion from Cyclonus, and was subsequently sent to find the Autobots who had taken the key back while Scourge was unconscious. Together with Cyclonus, Slugslinger, Triggerhappy and Misfire, Scourge tracked the Autobots to Nebulon. The Rebirth, Part 1
After clashing with the brand new Autobot Headmasters and losing badly, Scourge and the others were kidnapped by the Nebulon group known as the Hive, who offered to binary-bond with the Decepticons and increase their power. Scourge chose to become a Targetmaster, getting the loud Nebulan Fracas as his partner, and the Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters subsequently attacked and defeated the Autobots. Scourge got the key to the Plasma Energy Chamber back and voiced his desire to destroy the Autobots completely before moving on, only for Fracas to threaten to shoot him unless the Decepticons went back to the Hive as soon as possible. Following Unicron's consumption of Cybertron's moons, Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge traveled back in time from 2006 to 1986 as part of a plan to free themselves from Unicron's control by constructing a massive cannon that would destroy him upon their return to the future. The three Unicronian Decepticons proved themselves almost invincible in the face of the Autobots' attacks, though a lucky shot destroyed Scourge's weapon after he had incapacitated Trailbreaker, and Scourge was relatively weaponless (most of his weapons could only be used in vehicle mode). Though he also took down Grapple, Megatron managed to down Scourge and use him as a barganing chip. The future Decepticons were finally defeated when Galvatron was duped into believing he was trapped in a temporal paradox, and returned to his own time to live out the remaining events of 2006. Target: 2006

Following the destruction of Unicron at the hands of Rodimus Prime and the Matrix, Galvatron transported himself back in time to 1987, leaving Cyclonus and Scourge in the future, under Shockwave’s command. The duo were attacked by the freelance peace-keeping agent, Death's Head, who was seeking the bounty on Galvatron’s head, and Cyclonus revealed Galvatron’s whereabouts to him. Wanted:Galvatron — Dead or Alive! Later, Shockwave hired Death’s Head to kill Rodimus Prime, but Cyclonus and Scourge interfered with the job as they sought to kill Rodimus first, in order to reclaim their lost standing amongst the Decepticons. Headhunt This did not please Death’s Head, and consequently, he willingly accepted a contract from Rodimus to hunt down Cyclonus and Scourge, eventually tracking them down to the planet of Junk as 2008 dawned. Before he could finish the job, however, all three of them fell under the mind-controlling influence of Unicron, whose disembodied head had survived the destruction of his body and had landed on the planet, where he was having the native Junkions construct a new body for him.

Under Unicron's control, Cyclonus and Scourge killed Shockwave and became Decepticon leaders, reigniting the stalemated Cybertronian war to a furious degree to cover Unicron's actions. Death's Head, however, was able to fight the mind control and work with the Autobots long enough to stop the chaos-bringer's plan. As explosions destroyed Unicron, Death's Head tackled Cyclonus and Scourge, pushing them through a time portal Unicron had built, promising to kill them another time. The two Decepticons were hurled into the past of Cybertron by the portal, where they came under the command of Scorponok. The Legacy of Unicron!
Traveling to Nebulos with the rest of Scorponok's forces, they became Targetmasters and then traveled to present day (1988) Earth. Brothers in Armor!! Once there, they sought out Galvatron, and, no longer willing to serve him, instead demanded that he hand over his time travel device so that they could return to the future and their position as Decepticon leaders. The confrontation was disrupted by the sudden appearance of the Autobot commando squad, the Wreckers, who drew the ensuing battle away from the human settlement it was taking place in by professing to have stolen Galvatron's time jump mechanism, when in reality, the Decepticon no longer even had it for them to take. Wrecking Havoc

Having met with failure again, Cyclonus and Scourge decided to cut their losses and team up with Shockwave's present-day Earth-based Decepticon forces.

Unfortunately, Cyclonus accidentally let slip that they would kill Shockwave in the future. Naturally wanting to ensure his continued existence, Shockwave unleashed a brainwashed Megatron clone upon the two. As Megatron killed Nightstick and grappled with Cyclonus, Scourge took aim at the clone...but stopped. He realized that killing Megatron in 1988 would likely prevent Galvatron's creation in 2006, and possibly his own as well. Cyclonus and Scourge’s displacement into the past had circumvented the normal mass-replacement method used by time-travel, and had hence unbalanced the space-time continuum, causing a rift to appear in the fabric of space and time. Cyclonus' death, eighteen years before he was even created, proved to be the final straw, accelerating the rift, which soon threatened to consume Earth and Cybertron. Realizing that the only way to stop it was to return himself, Galvatron and Cyclonus to their original time, Scourge attempted to recover Cyclonus’ body from Shockwave, only to be attacked by the deranged Decepticon, who had lost his mind due to the illogical nature of the situation, and had strung Cyclonus' remains up like a twisted trophy. Scourge staggered back to the time rift and allowed it to take him, hoping that that would have some effect on the situation. It didn't. Ravage, however, succeeded where Scourge had failed, and was able to bring Shockwave back sanity enough for him to deposit Cyclonus’ remains after Galvatron and Scourge, and then seal it with an x-ray blast. Scourge was not seen again after this, and it is unknown exactly what happened to Scourge after he entered the rift. Time Wars
An alternate version of Scourge later made a brief appearance, inhabiting an alternate future world of 2009 where Cybertron had been destroyed and Galvatron ruled Earth. With only seven Autobots left alive, Scourge battled Getaway, Chainclaw and Guzzle during the Autobots' last desperate raid on the Decepticon Powerbase. * It's not known how much (if any) communication there was between Marvel's US office and the UK offices where Simon Furman was churning out his behind-the-scenes stories, but regardless, Cyclonus and Scourge completely disappeared from the US book after Headmasters—leaving Furman free to send them off to find Galvatron. Wrecking Havoc
* For some reason, Scourge's head-mounted cannon was implied to not be a cannon in the comics, as the loss of a handgun in "Target: 2006" apparently left Scourge completely weaponless in robot mode, making transformation a complete necessity.

An intelligence agent in the Cybertron Elite Guard, Blurr tends to barrel ahead with whatever he's doing and simply expects everyone else to keep pace... be it on a mission or in simple conversation.
Blurr initially became known to the Autobots on Earth through his participation in Master Disaster's Street Demon races. This was because Master Disaster manipulated him using a remote control that contained an AllSpark fragment.

Blurr proved impossible to beat on the race course; under Master Disaster's control, Blurr used aggressive tactics and sped past Bumblebee twice, even though the yellow Autobot was using his rocket boosters.

Later, the Key detected the AllSpark fragment, so Sari stole the remote control to investigate it, which apparently broke Master Disaster's control over Blurr. When Blitzwing was about to attack Bumblebee, Blurr charged off a bridge and played a mid-air game of chicken with Blitzwing, causing the Decepticon to veer off and crash into a skyscraper. Later that night, Bumblebee was on the roof of the Autobots' factory base when he spotted Blurr driving down a nearby highway past the building. Bee called out a thank you, but Blurr gave no response. Velocity

Blurr intercepted a transmission between Megatron and a double agent on Cybertron revealing that Bulkhead was the best space bridge technician in the entire galaxy, and would thus be a target for kidnapping. Blurr sped off to try to stop Megatron, but was instead stopped by Bumblebee. The yellow bot chased him around for a while, until he finally knocked Blurr off the road. This angered Blurr, so he transformed into robot mode, introduced himself and his mission, and gave Bumblebee the chewing out of a lifetime, all in about thirty seconds. Bumblebee missed everything he said past the first sentence.

Later, at the Autobot base, Blurr again introduced himself and explained his mission, this time to the entire Autobot crew, minus Bulkhead. They still had trouble understanding him, but were able to make out the fact that Bulkhead was an expert and that Isaac Sumdac had aided Megatron in building a space bridge.

Blurr led Bumblebee, Optimus, and Prowl to Megatron's base. They had a brief encounter with Blitzwing and Lugnut, whom Blurr quickly caught in stasis cuffs. After watching, Bumblebee reluctantly admitted that he was no longer the fastest thing on wheels. The Autobots managed to reach Megatron's throne room, but Blurr was quickly defeated by Scrapper. A Bridge Too Close, Part I

After escaping from Scrapper, Blurr stasis-cuffed the Coward Starscream. As fast as he is, though, Blurr failed to get out of the way of the Egomaniac Starscream, who crashed into both him and Coward Starscream, getting them caught in his cement overcoat and sending them all tumbling into the space bridge. Bulkhead attempted to recall them, but explained that the targeting coordinates of the bridge were never set, meaning that they could have been sent anywhere in the galaxy. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Though caught in a cement block with the Coward and Egomaniac Starscream clones and floating across a random part of space, Blurr was able to escape due to the clone's efforts. By ricocheting off meteors, moons, and other debris, Blurr was amazingly able to run all the way back to Cybertron. But when he returned, he was greeted by Longarm Prime, who wasn't happy to hear Blurr's news that he would be able to identify the traitor by examining Shockwave's voice sample. Longarm attacked Blurr, who sped away. Longarm transformed into Shockwave, and noted that he didn't need to catch to Blurr, only trap him. Shockwave used the building's main computer to lock down the corridors where Blurr had fled through. Trapped, Blurr was crushed between two closing walls.

Longarm later handed off the blue cube that remained to an unwitting Cliffjumper, requesting he dispose of the "sensitive material". Cliffjumper then put the cube into an incinerator. TransWarped
* At the 2008 Cartoon Network panel, it was revealed that Blurr's design has a few small homages to Transtech Cheetor, mainly the "hollow" wheels in his legs.

I can't tell you how glorious it is that we have to disambiguate "Toaster" on this wiki.--UndeadScottsman 22:08, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

:It made my morning. I went to check something on the MD website and-- "wait,t here's a new commercial? With more new characters?" -Derik 22:10, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Realgear or not realgear that's the question.
What differs between Toaster and Frenzy that make one a Real Gear, and the other not. Or has frenzy to be classified a Real Gear too? Or is Toaster in fact not a Real Gear? The debate is now open!

:Frenzy? Frenzy is a Decepticon from Cybertron. Real Gear Robots are Earth machines brought to life by the Allspark. I don't think Toaster belong in the RGR category, though. Even though I'd say it's likely that he is an Earth machine brought to life by the Allsaprk, we should only use the RGR category for the toyline. --KilMichaelMcC 01:16, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

:Real Gear, for reasons previously stated on the Talk:Real Gear Robot page.
:Hardcore movie spoilers (i.e. reading the novelization) present a clearer picture why than readily apparent from the Real Gear Robots toy bio. -Derik 01:18, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
::Since the number of people who are willing to spoil themselves just to check your work is going to be extremely limited, I'm not really okay with you having free reign over stuff like this for a month while we wait for the movie to come out so we can edit out all the Derik. I say put the novelization aside for now. --ItsWalky 01:25, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

:::Hrm... how to argue this without movie spoilers then...
:::Fine, I substitute the Real Gear Robot AX9-8946-09SU-1 from the Sector 7 ARG (the one who killed James Farr) as a non-spoilery example of the phenomena. Unliving Earth hardware animated by the Allspark starts out as a feral killing machine. Toaster is thus one step along the path from AX9-8946-09SU-1 to the fully-mature, individualized RGR toy characters. -Derik 01:31, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

::::Why must it be argued immediately? Can we not completely ignore the novelization and adaptation comic until the movie comes out, and only use other sources, such as the toyline, until then? If we end up wrong, then we can fix it when it's appropriate. Such is the way of a "living" resource. --Sntint 01:37, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

::::I would add "how do you know for a fact that Toaster was born on Earth, Derik?", seeing as G1 Toaster was from Cybertron, but I don't want to see another string of spoilers added to this page. -Rotty 01:41, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

I have been thinking along the lines of: While all "Real Gear Robots" are Earth machines brought to life by the Allpsark, not all Earth machines brought to life by the Allspark are necessarily "Real Gear Robots." That we should only label as Real Gears things that actually, officially have that label. --KilMichaelMcC 01:27, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
:I understand that is your perspective, but the definition of RGR's given for the line is 'Machines animated by the Allspark.' minor spoiler below.
:In the movie we will (apparently) see a cell phone animated by the allspark. It is demonstrably not Speed Dial 800. But is SD800 is a RGR... why the hell isn't Unnamed Cell Phone #2 a RGR? -Derik 01:35, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Various points:
#Unless there is another convenient term for "Earth machines brought to life by the AllSpark", I strongly disagree with restricting use of the term "Real Gear Robots" only to characters from the toyline. We need a term for it, and that one already exists and is official.
#We should not put characters into the RGR category unless we know they are RGRs. That means Toaster should not be categorized as one, at least until all the dust settles in a few months and we all have a much clearer picture of the continuity family.
#The article itself should state "He may be a RGR". Phrases like "most likely" or "probably" should be avoided. They don't add any meaning and are obviously contentious.
#Derik should stop re-adding the category unless he wants to get a temporary ban over it. Endless reverts against the consensus are uncool, no matter how strongly you feel about it. PacifistPrime's block was over something not much worse than this.
#Anybody who disagrees with any of the above is dumb.
--Steve-o 01:39, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
:Generally speaking, anyone who disagrees with Steve-o is dumb. I tip my king on the issue- for a month until there is a better basis from which to reach an informed consensus. (Until everyone has seen the movie has a basis from which to judge the situation.) -Derik 01:47, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Name
Actually,he does have an official name. His Designs refer to him as "Toaster Bot" . I don't think it's worth moving the page,i'll add some redirects instead. 86.87.28.191 18:49, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
:And now he's got an upcoming toy named "Ejector"! And... I'm mostly just pointing that out here to see if I can actually edit. Can't log in yet, though.... <--Thylacine 2000.
