'''Rhinox''' is a Renaissance Bot. Intelligent, massive, strong, and stalwart, there are few Maximals one could depend on more. Rhinox is of a rare breed -- he's incredibly tech savvy, but mystically-inclined... without coming off as a burnt-out technohippie. He's quick and decisive in a crisis, with spectacular results, but is slow and steady. He loves to sniff the flowers. A behind-the-scenes charismatic and an on-his-feet strategist, he could lead the Maximals if he wanted to, but he doesn't.

If he sounds too good to be true, it's because he just might be. At times he can be borderline obsessive and single-minded. The Maximals are glad he's on their side, because if he ever had a change of heart, woe be to them. No, woe be to the ''galaxy.''

'''Waspinator''' is the universe's chewtoy. If something goes wrong, it happens to him. If something blows up, he'll be blasted into his component parts. He also doesn't talk so good (he has a problem with pronouns), so he's easy to make fun of. [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] has classified the hairbrained Predacon as expendable, much to Waspinator's dismay. Waspinator's not stupid, and has caught on to his lot in life, and tries to avoid his fate as often as possible, but fate always finds him. Thankfully, Waspinator is almost supernaturally durable, and has survived the most devastating and humiliating of defeats. Whether this is a boon or a curse is anyone's guess.

Waspinator is known for generally speaking in the third person and making a buzzing noise in place of the letter S.

A large part of Waspinator's popularity stems from his accident-prone history. Specifically the fact that he is savagely beaten, and usually blown apart in almost every single episode of the series. This aspect is often made light of during the series, much to Waspinator's disgust.

In the episode ''[[Possession]]'', the Ghost of [[Starscream_(G1)|Starscream]] travels through time and takes his body. In another episode, as a result of a concussion, he flies around in a daze, claiming to be the [[Insecticon (G1)|Insecticon]] [[Shrapnel (G1)|Shrapnel]].

At the end of the series, tired of being the butt of everyones jokes, Waspinator abandons the Predacons and remains on Earth while all the other surviving Transformers set off for Cybertron. The series ends with his comment "Waspinator happy at last."

Sadly, for Waspinator, the Protohumans he had ruled over grew tired of his presence and forced him to leave the planet and return to Cybertron under his own power. There his spark was removed and used to power the Vehicon general, [[Thrust (BM)|Thrust]].

Reproduction

Transformers have been shown to reproduce in a number of ways.

Some are built from scratch and when finished and turned on just spring to life (G1 Catoon Dinobots and Technobots).

In other stories they must be infused with life from an outside source. In the G1 Cartoon this was Vector Sigma, in the Marvel Comic it was the Creation Matrix.

The Transformers: Generation 2 comic introduced the concept of "buding" where it was revealed early TFs reproduced Asexualy until they reached the population Primus desired and then stopped and all memory of it was erased. When the Decepticon Empire rediscovered and revived the process the resulting robots were increasingly less sentient and the lifeform called The Swarm was created as a byproduct.

Despite having two genders there is little canonical evidence for TFs reproducing sexually. The best case could probably be made for Beast Wars where Rattrap makes numerous off-color remarks that hint in this direction, especially directed at Silverbolt and Blackarachnia. It is unknown what effect the Beast Machines reformating of Transformers into Technorganic beings has on their reproductive options.

If Transformers do reproduce in solely asexual ways, however, it makes it hard to imagine what Tigertron and Airrazor were doing all that time in those "scouting missions". Bow chicka bow chicka BOW bow.
