:Bonecrusher is a Decepticon from the Movie continuity family.

Bonecrusher is Transformer that can be described with one word: Hate. Bonecrusher hates this wiki. Bonecrusher hates the fact that his toy is so small. Bonecrusher even hates amusingly appropriate Avril Lavigne quotes. Basically Bonecrusher hates everything and everyone, particularly buses, and lives for the day when all of creation is crushed and destroyed beneath his feet. His overwhelming anger and hatred extends even to his fellow Decepticons, including Megatron himself. Only fear of Megatron keeps him on their side. Plus, he really hates the Autobots

He transforms into a Buffalo mine clearing vehicle used by the military. It is made exclusively in South Carolina and the drivers routinely use it to drive to the local Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. He hates drivers, the mine clearing vehicle, the drive-thrus, and South Carolina. He loves tacos, however.
spoiler

Ghosts of Yesterday novel
Bonecrusher is aboard the crew of the Nemesis, led by Starscream, who are searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the AllSpark. He hates the Nemesis, but would hate trying to walk home more. He also hates the Allspark, but Megatron wanted it, so decided not to complain. Finally, he also hates Starscream, but all the other Decepticons do as well, making it something he has in common with his fellow Decepticons. He hates that.

Transformers The Game (console)
:(Note: Bonecrusher only appears in the Decepticon campaign of the game, and as a non-playable character t'boot.)
While hiding in a military base, Bonecrusher came under attack by the Humans twice, and required assistance from Starscream to escape. He hates needing help from people, especially from people he hates.

Transformers (2007) film
:Voice actor: Jimmie Wood (English)

Bonecrusher was hiding out in a military base (which he hated) when he got the call from Starscream (who he hated) to mobilize and converge on the location of the AllSpark. He rendezvoused with Barricade (who he also hated), and hit the highway in pursuit of the Autobots and humans who had the AllSpark in their possession. Since he hates rush-hour traffic, he started using his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way. (He kinda liked that.)

But then he saw Optimus Prime, the bot he really hates (and that's saying a lot), and transformed to tackle him. After smashing through a bus (it irked him), Bonecrusher knocked Prime off an overpass and plummeted (he wasn't fond of that part), and got in a few good licks on the briefly-stunned Prime.

However, Prime hit Bonecrusher so hard one of the Decepticon's optics popped free from its socket (he liked that eye... well, no, he didn't, he just hated not having it more), and the two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. This gave Prime the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready... which he stabbed through Bonecrusher's neck, decapitating him.

Bonecrusher hates his movie role.

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path. He basically explodes into a robot mode that has extremely long fold-out arms. In robot mode, the mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider Automorph mechanism.
*The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle hasn't in fact, such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie. He hated that.

*Force Protection really, really loves that Bonecrusher has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode and is quite proud of it. Bonecrusher is not sure what to think about that.
Ghosts of Yesterday prequel novel
Starscream had ascended to Decepticon leadership in the absence of their former lord, and though he must "seem" to carry on the long search for the lost Megatron and the Allspark to keep his position as leader, his greatest hope was that Megatron NEVER be found. Some loyal Decepticons, especially Blackout, strongly suspect this and sought to frustrate Starscream's self-serving plans. Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday
Sector Seven Alternate Reality Game
Starscream (Disguised as a F-15 Eagle fighter jet) was active on Earth in early 1982, with documented sightings of jets sporting his unique colors on several continents before he was caught on camera transforming to robot mode in California. This sighting (and its subsequent leak) was the direct impetus for Hungry Dragon 1.

This seemingly contradicts Starscream's 2003 arrival on Earth in the 'Prime Directives' prequel comic, though it's possible Starscream simply concealed an earlier visit to Earth because he had no desire for the Decepticons to find Megatron.

Starscream was lying in wait at a US air base when covert agent Frenzy reported that the All Spark had been located, along with Megatron, underneath Hoover Dam. Starscream ordered the rest of the Decepticons to move out. The others responded, with Blackout rallying in the name of Megatron, perhaps as a warning.

The first to arrive, Starscream attacked the hydro-electricity power plant attached to the dam to cause havok to Sector Seven's operations and to speed the thawing of Megatron. With Frenzy's sabotage, Megatron eventually broke free of his icy restraints and escaped the facility and met with the waiting Starscream. Demanding to know what happened to the All Spark, Megatron was told by his second in command that it was now in the possession of the humans. Furious, Megatron berated him for yet another failure.

During the assault on a nearby city, Starscream fooled Captain Lennox's unit by posing as an F-22 Raptor providing cover. Starscream launched and attack that crippled Bumblebee as Ironhide realized too late who the fighter really was. As ladiesman217 ran with the All Spark, Starscream swooped down, blocking his path, only to be attacked by both Ironhide and Ratchet. Besting them, Starscream took to the skies again as real F-22 Raptors from the US Air Force finally arrived.

Pretending to be a part of their squadron, Starscream surprised the human pilots by transforming in mid-air and, while pulling the most impressive Jet Judo routine in 20 years, easily destroyed several of the Raptors before he was fired upon and had to reassume his disguise to confuse the pilots. While Megatron attempted to retrieve the All Spark from Sam, Starscream perched on nearby buildings, but eventually disappeared an was not seen in the closing moments of the battle.

Most of the Decepticons were defeated, and their bodies cast into the deepest part of the ocean. Ultimately, Starscream retreated from Earth to parts unknown. Transformers (2007)
Sector Seven game continuity
During late April/Early May of 2007, Sector Seven has intercepted two sound clips through agent Cod3x and another source. Apparently, Starscream wanted to make his presence known and left a message announcing that he would have the All Spark, and that Agent Powers would be the one to hand it over. These messages were somewhat garbled, as they were apparently received over a SETI@home system. So far, only these two "blips" have been analysed (the second still needing work), but more may come in the near future. Sector Seven (game)
*Protoform Starscream (Deluxe, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MD-05

:Based upon the 'Protoform' (Cybertronian) appearances of the Transformers in the Movie, Protoform Starscream transforms into his 'Entry' mode cybertronic rocket thing. This mode somewhat resembles a cybertronic spaceship, with a visible bridge between the two dorsal fins. A flame decoration piece fits to the back of the 'vehicle' over the missile projectile, creating the illusion of a flaming comet's tail. The bottom of the vehicle has small wheels to roll the toy across smooth surfaces.

:In robot mode, Starscream marginally resembles previous Starscreams, mostly G1 Starscream, with the large turbines on his chest, wings and vents on his legs. Due to his extensive use of ball joints, he has excellent articulation. Starscream is armed with a spring-loaded missile launcher that fires the previously mentioned projectile cast in the same bronze colour as his body. Alternatively, the flame decoration can be fitted onto the end of the barrel.

:This toy also has an Automorphing feature, as most of the figures in the main line do. By pushing his head back during transformation, his shoulder pieces move back into place, while moving them forward will make the head pop back up. While either the missle or the flame can be placed into the gun, the flame can be placed onto the missile, using both at once.

: It's also entirely possible for this figure to eventually suffer from GPS, as the bronze plastic it is cast in has the same characteristic swirling that older figures exhibited before it would deteriorate. However, newer materials and processes may prevent the toy from ever seeing a single crack form. It is highly suggested that this toy not be painted or altered in any way to maximize its life span. This means YOU, kitbashers.

*Starscream (Voyager, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MD-08

: The Voyager-class version of Movie Starscream transforms into a very inaccurate, though officially-licensed Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet. For reasons unknown, Starscream is a tan/taupe colouring, with rather 'backwards' paint details: on Starscream parts painted grey are metallic on the real F-22, and parts painted silver (such as the edges of his wings) are actually supposed to be grey.

:However, most Starscream's vehicle mode inaccuracies are down to his very design and structure. He has almost no engine details to speak of, the rear stabilisers are the wrong shape (and of extremely simple sculpt) and his head and feet are blatantly visible. Starscream also almost certainly has the most undercarriage junk of any transformer based on a real-life plane ever made, with his legs creating a large and blocky fuselage section and some huge and very prominent triple-barrel Gatling missile launchers mounted under each wing. Pushing the fighter along a smooth surface causes the barrels to rotate and fire their projectiles, which can also be stored in the black flip-up braces on the launchers.

:During transformation, pushing up upon the canopy fuselage piece activates Starscream's Automorphing gimmick which pushes panels out of the torso, wings and stabilisers. In robot mode, Starscream is mostly faithful to his movie CGI model, except for being bulkier around his chest, lacking engines on his back and the very large Gatling cannons serving as his arms (a facsimile of his much more slender weapons from the movie). Interestingly, his projectile missiles are sculpted to resemble fingers, should users choose keep them loaded while Starscream is in robot mode.
*Starscream (Legends, 2007)

: Legends-class Starscream is a highly simplified, low-cost version of Starscream in his F-22 Raptor body. As such, he has a greatly compromised transformation sequence due to the smaller parts count, with limited articulated and detailing.

: An extensive redeco of Voyager class Starscream painted in a colour scheme based upon Generation 1 Starscream, this version of Starscream shares the retooled version of this mold with Movie Thundercracker, giving Starscream a new G1-styled headsculpt.

:Battle Blade Starscream transforms into a somewhat superdeformed F-22 Raptor, simplifying the overall design to the point of his feet noticeably sticking out the aft of the fighter, and a truncated transformation sequence reminiscent of past Transformers such as Generation 1 Jetfire and Cybertron Thundercracker. Rather than having a separate weapon, he only has a claw-like blade that flips over the right hand (hence 'Battle Blade') and a missile in the palm of his left hand. It's also quite inaccurate to his movie design in both robot and vehicle modes.
Trivia
* The card back of Protoform Starscream's packaging features a him with a completely different, earlier head sculpt. What's more, this head design is featured on his Protoform body in IDW's movie prequel comics.

* It has been suggested that, following his attack on the F-22 squadron over the city, Starscream was able to hide among the survivors and take part in the attack on Megatron shortly thereafter. This theory is speculative (though plausible) and has yet to receive any official confirmation (Roberto Orci was asked, but refused to give a definete answer)
While the Mustache Man can appear in different uniforms appropriate for the vehicle disguise his owner has assumed, the hologram appears to have only one face. With a fake mustache.
Blackout projects the Mustache Man as his 'human' pilot when he arrives at SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar, successfully fooling the human soldiers. Base commander Colonel Sharp orders Mustache Man to power down Blackout and disembark his crew or risk being killed. Mustache Man flickers before Blackout transforms to lay waste to SOCCENT.

Later, after Air Force One is forced to make an emergency landing, Barricade drives up to the plane with the Mustache Man activated, earning not a second glance from the many police officers and secret service agents protecting the aircraft. The massive Blackout has been described as the hound of Megatron. In better days he was always to be found looming powerful and silent behind his leader's right shoulder. When given a target he hunts it down with fierce determination. Blackout is not happy with the progress Starscream is making towards finding the missing Decepticon leader. He suspects (quite rightly) that Starscream would prefer Megatron to stay lost. Blackout is openly mutinous and will challenge Starscream's leadership at any opportunity, not for his own sake, but to better serve his ultimate goal of finding his lost master. Blackout has a sneaky side and uses his symbiotic companion Scorponok's small size to great advantage.
Prime Directives prequel comics
The Decepticon infiltration unit under the command of Starscream arrived on Earth in the year 2003. Blackout scanned a USAF MH-53 Pavelow helicopter, then destroyed the original human craft to cover his tracks, as did his fellow Decepticons when choosing their new forms.

Blackout flew into the airspace of US SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar and refused to identify himself, prompting base commander Colonel Sharp to dispatch two F-22 Raptors to escort the Decepticon into their base. One of the Raptors reported that Blackout had the registry number of 4500X on his vertical stabilizer, the number of the helicopter Blackout had scanned and destroyed three months earlier in Afghanistan.

Once landed, Blackout was surrounded by the soldiers stationed at the base and ordered to power down and disembark his crew, or deadly force would be used. Seeing no reason to hide himself any further, Blackout transformed under a hail of automatic weapons fire from the shocked humans. Activating his heavy machine guns and rocket launchers, Blackout made quick work of the soldiers in closest to him, then unleashed a massive EMP wave that killed the rest of the troops and shattered their vehicles and the windows of the operations control tower. Blackout made his way around the base, tossing tanks aside, crushing soldiers underfoot and blowing up aircraft. Eventually, he reached the operations bunker and tore off the roof to link up with their server and download its files in an attempt to find information on Project: Ice Man. Unfortunately, the base commander intervened, cutting the physical hard line of the server, severing Blackout's connection and thwarting the primary objective of his mission.

Still, Blackout carried out his second objective - the destruction of the human base. As he proceeded, a human soldier was nearly crushed. Instinctively, the soldier recorded images of Blackout, the Decepticon indulging this brief moment of curiosity by looking straight back at the human. Blackout then activated a chest-mounted laser cannon to put the fleshling out of its misery, but before he could do so, he was struck by a sabot round fired by another soldier, and the human made his escape. Enraged, Blackout fired flare countermeasures into the sky to confuse any other attempts to attack him, then ejected Scorponok from his back and sent the minion to track the fleeing soldiers. Blackout then turned his attention and his weapons back to the rest of the base, eventually destroying it, leaving no survivors.

Evidently, after the attack, Blackout flew back to the United States, as he was in the vicinity when Frenzy reported the discovery of All Spark's location and Starscream ordered their forces to move out. Blackout acknowledged the order, then perhaps to remind Starscream who his master was, rallied in Megatron's name.

Blackout arrived at Mission City just as the final battle was getting underway. He attempted to block ladiesman217's path as the boy was trying to get away with the All Spark before he was warded off by Ironhide. Then, as Optimus Prime and Megatron fought, Blackout went to help his lord by activating his hand-held rotor weapon, but soldiers—including survivors of the SOCCENT base attack—attempted to stop him by painting him with targeting lasers for friendly F-22 Raptors to fire upon. Underestimating the fighting spirit and desire for vengeance of the humans, Blackout tried to finish them off until Captain Lennox, using an abandoned motorcycle, charged at him and fired a sabot under his chest armour as F-22s pounded him with missiles, destroying his spark and killing him.

His remains were dumped in the deepest part of the ocean along with his fellow dead Decepticons. Transformers (2007)

Note: The possible period of time that Blackout acquired his vehicle mode in the movie appears to contradict the origin of his vehicle mode in IDW's Prime Directives prequel comics.

Transformers The Game (console)
Blackout and Scorponok were sent to the SOCCENT Base to destroy the human military installation there and download information from the military servers on the location of the AllSpark. The pair were successful, though Blackout's escape was briefly interrupted by the arrival of a squad of human jet fighters. After blasting them to tiny bits, he made good his escape.

Blackout joined Starscream at Hoover Dam, and fought off a squad of Autobot sports car drones that were defending the installation. He then followed the newly-revived Megatron to Mission City, where he got engaged in a final showdown with Ironhide, who certainly gave the massive Decepticon a run for his money. The huge number of Autobot drones backing Ironhide up didn't make things any easier.

*Blackout (Voyager, 2007)
:Japanese ID Number: MD-01

: Blackout transforms into a reasonably accurate Sikorsky MH-53 Pave Low heavy-lift helicopter, though his blue color scheme is quite inaccurate compared to the actual helicopter used in the movie and similar ones in USAF service. An aft 'cage' compartment can be opened to release a small PVC figurine of his partner, Scorponok. A button on the end of his tail can be pressed in a geared action to rotate his rotor blades, but this feature really comes into play when the user attaches the Deluxe-class Scorponok figure to the bottom of Blackout's helicopter mode via two pegs. A geared shaft linked to the rotor mechanism connects to a geared peg on Scorponok's back. Thus, pressing the button on Blackout's tail not only rotates his blades, but also rotates Scorponok's pincers. This gimmick is actually easier to activate by rotating the geared wheel on Scorponok's undercarriage.

: During transformation, Blackout's Automorphing gimmick is activated when the user swings down his legs, which in turn flips the grey chest section his head is mounted upon up and into position. Another, less impressive automorph is in his legs. If you pull on his knee, his shin pops out.

: In robot mode, Blackout is not quite as accurate to his CGI design as some of the other Movie toys are. His overall design and proportions are generally described as being closer to traditional Transformers than the aesthetics of the Movie robots. Yet, as expected with most of the movie toys he features excellent articulation, with multi-ratcheting joints in his shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. The entire rotor assembly on his back can be removed and converted into a gigantic fan, to vaguely represent the hand-held fan weapon he wields in the movie (also seen on the Titanium figurine). He's also much smaller than most Voyager class figures, barely larger than a Deluxe figure (particularly Barricade, only a head taller).

: There are some significant flaws in Blackout's design. Firstly, the pegs that hold his legs/helcopter fuselage to the rotor/tail assembly do not provide enough friction to withstand the weight of the legs themselves, causing them to detach from the body of the helicopter and droop down. Secondly, the gears in his head/chest's Automorphing gimmick can misalign themselves during usage and transformation back in to vehicle mode, enough so that the cockpit chest/head section refuses to align with the cockpit halves.

: An interesting side note is that the two hard points located on Blackout's shoulders, intended to support his abominably large weapon, are actually the same size as the Mini-Con points on most post-Armada figures. This basically means he is the only Decepticon from the movie continuity who can Powerlinx, though this is most likely by accident rather than design due to lack of Powerlinx port details at the base of these hardpoints.

*Decepticon Desert Attack (multi-pack, 2007)
:An unchanged Voyager Blackout was packaged with a similarly unaltered Deluxe Scorponok in this package, which is currently available only at Toys R Us.
*Blackout (3" Robot Masters, 2007)

: This small three-inch figurine of Blackout has a more CGI-accurate sculpt than larger Blackout toys. He is partially made of die-cast metal and plastic, sculpted holding his rotorblades as a hand weapon, as seen in the movie. His articulation is limited to his shoulders, head and waist and he comes with a Movie-style Decepticon logo display base.

Trivia
* Blackout was originally conceived as Soundwave, thus his symbiotic relationship with Scorponok, who was originally concieved as Ravage. Though clearly this changed, his portrayal in the Ghosts of Yesterday novel is rather Soundwave-esque. This portrayal is also somewhat reflected in the official bio as Blackout is described as "his leader's hound". Blackout's later working name, "Incinerator", is also accounted for in the bio, noting how Blackout will "fill the air with fire and burn the land clear to take his revenge."

* During a transmission from Burger King's website, Optimus Prime has decreed that we are not to ride this helicopter. The current rideability of other helicopters the world over is unknown. Standby for further updates as they become available.
Immediately after arriving on a new world in its Transition form, a Transformer begins trans-scanning to choose and generate a new exostructure/disguise appropriate to both its size/body mass and its new locale.

Transformers can trans-scan a new (appropriately massed) alternate form at will, and their inner protoform core will generate a new exostructure or alter an existing one to that new appearance almost instantaneously.
Doublecross and the Monsterbots were created accidentally during an attempt to create new Autobots. Kup raced to warn Rodimus Prime and Blurr of the accident, as the wild Monsterbots trashed the lab where they were born. Thankfully the Decepticons attacked just then and the Monsterbots burst out of the building through the wall to fight them. Rodimus expressed relief that, though they were monsters, at least they were Autobot monsters.
Cheetor is full of youthful overconfidence. He's also the fastest Maximal on four legs, though, so he gets into way too much trouble. Thankfully, Optimus Primal keeps a steady eye on him. In return, Cheetor has grown to idolize Primal, whom he calls "Big Bot." Optimus Primal knows the young and inexperienced Cheetor needs a good role model, so he doesn't mind too much. And, hey, he's a good kid. Just... keep him away from Dinobot, okay? Impressionable minds, and all.

Speaking of bad influences, Cheetor had a brief crush on the Predacon turncoat Blackarachnia, adding some real tension between him and Silverbolt. He seems over her now.

After the Axalon crash-lands on the mysterious planet, the youthful crew member of the disabled ship chooses a cheetah as his new beast form. Impressed with his own appearance, the young 'bot renames himself Cheetor.

Far too frequently, Cheetor looks up to Optimus Primal enough to rush out in an all-too eager attempt to prove himself. He's foiled an equal amount of missions he's succeeded; he's broken experimental communicators, rushed into combat, gotten himself trapped, and (the current pinnacle of his performance) set up radio-wave towers in the middle of a lightning storm on an energon platform.

When the quantum surge from the explosion of the Planet Buster engulfed the planet, Cheetor's exostructure was mutated into a shiny new Transmetal body. Along with a tougher metal hide and built-in weaponry, his beast mode gained the ability to fly via two powerful thrusters in his body. Unfortunately, his first attempt at flying led him on a one-way trip into a bulkhead. As Rattrap later remarked after a disastrous rescue attempt, a few flying lessons wouldn't hurt. Aftermath

While supporting Depth Charge's attack on Megatron's perverse cloning experiments, Cheetor came in contact with the direct energy beam of the transmetal driver, causing a massive explosion that made his fellow Maximals believe he was dead. However, he was seriously damaged and wandered around for megacycles afterwards, not knowing where he was, before he finally stumbled back to base.

Refusing treatment in the CR chamber, he was prone to hallucinations, panic attacks, paranoia, and delirium. He escaped the base and would rest for hours at a time, only to awaken and find himself somewhere foreign, his gears exhausted. Feral Scream, Part 1

In reality, his Transmetal body was in conflict with the alien "Transmetal 2" power infused into it by the transmetal driver. While unconscious, he would undergo a mutation into a feral beast that acted with savagery and aggression. With Optimus Primal's help, he finally gained control of the power and rejoined the rest of the Maximals, who were surprised at the rapid changes to him. Feral Scream, Part 2

This 'new' Cheetor regularly lost his temper, particularly with Rattrap. Still, he was considerably less reckless, and all of his decisions seemed to have a casual air of confidence and a youthful belief in invincibility.

"Oh, joy," Rattrap remarked. "Cyber-puberty."
(Note: although it picks up after the first season, the Beast Wars Metals manga is not in-continuity with the television series.)

Cheetor retained his youthful, inexperienced personality through-out the Japanese interpretation of Beast Wars. For the Beast Wars Metals manga his character design was retooled for a more visually-blunt interpretation of his personality.
During Beast Machines, the maturity Cheetor had engaged in when he gained a Transmetal 2 body seemed to come full circle. He acted calmer, frequently took over leadership in place of Optimus Primal, and overall acted more 'adult'. (The role of 'kid' was taken over by Nightscream.)

*Cheetor (Deluxe, 1996)
: Japanese ID number: C-3

: Cheetor transforms into an organic big cat-like creature somewhat resembling a cheetah. As such, he is yellow and covered in spots. In robot mode, he is armed with a rifle made out of his hind quarters and his tail, along with a second 'gut gun' formed out of his stomach. As with most early Beast Wars toys, he features a 'mutant' battle mask that covered his face.

:The Takara version has a slight mold tweak to keep the beast head pointed forward that has been retained on all versions thereafter, excepting Hasbro's issue of Tigatron.

:This mold was repainted into Shadow Panther and Tigatron.
: Japanese ID number: C-42

: Transmetal Cheetor is the first mostly robotic Cheetor toy. As with most Transmetal 1 toys, his beast mode is entirely robotic, but his robot mode has organic elements in its design. In beast mode, two rocket boosters can be flipped out of the sides of the cat torso to create a 'flight mode'. In robot mode, his removable tail becomes a spiked whip, but he has no ranged weaponry.

:This mold was retooled into Jaguar X-9, and slightly retooled to make Armada Cheetor.
: Japanese ID number: C-49

: Transmetal 2 Cheetor is the first major departure from the usual Cheetor styling, but maintains the standard 'stand-up-cat' style transformation where the robot mode is essentially the beast mode standing on its hind legs. TM2 Cheetor transforms into a saber-toothed tiger-type big cat, with a large rocket engine grafted into his back. In robot mode, this rocket engine becomes a spring-loaded missile launcher.

: As with all Transmetal 2 toys, he features a spark crystal, a small clear-coloured ball with a vacuum-metalized faction logo inside. Cheetor's spark is placed on his left hind leg.

:This mold was later redecoed into Tripredacus Agent. (Notice the pattern yet?)

*Cheetor (Fox Kids) (Deluxe, 1999)

: In 1999, a Fox Kids repaint of the original Cheetor toy was released. Aside from changing the black spots on his fur to a strange maroon color, at first glance FK Cheetor seemed identical to his original counterpart. However, a closer look shows that both the blue and the gold robot parts were all replaced with a metallic blue trim.
: In 2006, Hasbro redecoed the original Cheetor toy for their Beast Wars 10th Anniversary reissue line. He was cast in a different shade of yellow, and unlike most of the other BWX toys, he was further off-model than his earlier toy (the newer toy lacks the gold paint on its forearms and feet, all of which is present on the show model). His right beast mode shoulder was tampographed with a Maximal sigil. He came packed with Build-a-Figure Transmutate's torso, and a DVD disc containing the episode "Equal Measures."
Trivia
*The first Cheetor toy experienced a delayed initial release, coming several weeks after the first wave. This is likely due to a change made to his "tail gun" which on the toy is much different from the version glimpsed in catalogues, commercials, and toy packaging cross-sells. The prototype gun is held via a handle on the topside of the tail rather than underneath the haunches and has a small blue gunbarrell that flips out. The reason why this change was made or whether it was the actual cause of the delay is currently unknown.

*Aside from Tigatron, Cheetor is the only character in Beast Wars who is definitely in the correct scale to the lifeform he has adopted as a beast-mode. As a result, Cheetor has the odd distinction of being the yardstick by which other BW characters' scale inconsistencies can measured.

*Mainframe's original plan for TM1 Cheetor was to have his face mature over the course of the season, from a big-eared, wide-eyed, rounded face into one close to the toy. Also, TM1 Cheetor would have had a "Hero's Heart" which glowed after completing brave or heroic feats, somewhat akin to the classic anime character "Astro Boy". Due to time and financial restrictions, none of these concepts panned out. Thankfully.
The Air Museum is located in the suburbs of a small city, not far from Autobot Headquarters, but in the opposite direction from Decepticon Headquarters. Its primary distinguishing features are its bored and inattentive staff, its economically depressed condition (charging only $1.50 admission) and its prime attraction of "Authentic Fighter Planes."

All of these things make the Air Museum a perfect hideout for Starscream when he doesn't want to be found by his fellow Decepticons. He can just transform and power down, trusting that the bored and underpaid staff will not notice the extra exhibit.
While Megatron, his lieutenant, and another underling stole a Maximal relic, the Golden Disk, the Predacon who would later name himself Waspinator stole a ship with the help of an accomplice he nicknamed "Beakbot." The two had a contest to name the ship, but "Waspinator" lost, and thus the stolen ship was dubbed the Darksyde. "Waspinator" believed Buzzerbot would have been a better name.
After escaping Cybertron, the Darksyde was intercepted by the Axalon and the Chromia 10, but after an intense space battle, only the Darksyde and the Axalon remained. Waspinator, part of Megatron's rogue band of Predacons, landed on an unknown planet with dangerous levels of unstable energon. To protect themselves from the energon, the Predacons took organic beast modes. In Waspinator's case, he now transformed into a large green wasp. The first conflict between the stranded Predacons and their Maximal pursuers came when the Maximal Cheetor stumbled across Waspinator.

When Rhinox had his personality program converted to that of a Predacon, he started surreptitiously taking out the various Predacons. He swung a cargo crate into Waspinator, giving him a concussion. As a result, Waspy flew around in a daze, claiming to be the Insecticon Shrapnel as well as the great Wonko the Sane. This dementia was apparently reversed when Cheetor later got annoyed at his yattering and shot him down. Dark Designs

The Ghost of Starscream traveled through time and possessed his body. It took a major explosion to dislodge Starscream's immortal spark from Waspinator's body. Possession

After the aliens detonated the unstable energon using the second moon, Waspinator fell into the Restoration pool on the bridge of the Darksyde, preventing him from becoming a Transmetal. He was also the first to realize that this seemingly unknown planet was, in fact, Earth. Dinobot had made the same realization and stole into the Darksyde to retrieve both of Megatron's disks. In the process, Waspinator was crushed into a cube by the disks' security contraption. Coming of the Fuzors, Part 1

After the destruction of the Darksyde at Tigerhawk's hands, Megatron sent Waspinator, Inferno, and Quickstrike on an errand to find a new base, which was really nothing more than pointless busywork while Megatron went to do more important things. As the trio staked out an early human tribe that had taken up residence in a series of caves, Waspinator decided he'd finally had enough and ripped off his Predacon symbol, declaring himself out of the Beast Wars.

"I said NO! Dragon-Bot command you, sub-commander Kiss-butt! Dragon-Bot not command Waspinator! Not any more! Waspinator sick of being evil! Sick of being Predacon! And Waspinator especially sick of getting blown to SCRAP all the time! Soooooo, Waspinator quit! As of now, which means Ant-Bot and Two-Head can just pucker their mandibles and plant big, wet, juicy one right here on Waspinator's big . . . fat . . . stripy . . ."

Inferno and Quickstrike promptly blasted him to pieces without a word. Nemesis, Part 1

His parts recovered by the tribe, Waspinator remained on Earth while all the other surviving Transformers set off for Cybertron, and led the tribe, declaring that he was finally...happy. Nemesis, Part 2
Sadly, for Waspinator, the Protohumans he had ruled over grew tired of his presence and forced him to leave the planet and return to Cybertron under his own power.
* Waspinator was originally chosen by Hasbro to be one of the characters killed off for the second season of the Beast Wars cartoon to help make way for new characters (read: product). However, story editors Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio convinced them to spare Waspinator on the grounds of his popularity with the online fan-base, so Terrorsaur and Scorponok took the plunge instead.

* Waspinator was originally slated to appear in the very first Beast Wars video game, and even had a character model built. However, he was ultimately unused and only appeared in footage taken from the Beast Wars cartoon.

* Waspinator appears to be the inspiration for Buzzer-Bot from the Playskool Go-Bots line.

*As a side note, Waspinator's original and 10th Anniversary toys contain a high number of ball and swivel joints, which more than easily separate. Makes him a little more show-accurate, after all.
Thankfully, Waspinator is almost supernaturally durable and has survived the most devastating and humiliating of defeats. Whether this is a boon or a curse is anyone's guess.
For reasons known only to Primus, Megatron agreed.

After escaping Cybertron, the Darksyde was intercepted by the Axalon and the Chromia 10, but after an intense space battle, only the Darksyde and the Axalon remained. Megatron ordered "Waspinator" to execute their planned transwarp jump, opening up a portal which both ships entered. Dawn of Future's Past

There his spark was removed and used to power the Vehicon general Thrust. He was discovered by Blackarachnia after she thought he was Silverbolt. The Catalyst
After Cybertron's technorganic reformatting, Waspinator returned in his beast mode with Thrust's head, and at the size of a standard wasp. :Available exclusively at the 2006 event itself, this two-pack represents Waspinator and Megatron before the events of Beast Wars. "Darksyde Waspinator" is a Basic-sized figure, originally used for Machine Wars Skywarp and Thundercracker, which autotransforms to robot mode from a Dassault Rafale fighter jet. (One can surmise, however, that it is meant to represent a Cybertronic design in this case.)

Trivia

*Arcee (Scout, 2007)

: Arcee is a redeco of Energon Arcee, replacing her pinks, most of her whites and blacks with blue, and her translucent red with smoky brown plastic. She transforms into a 'superbike'-type racing motorcycle. Unusually for a Transformer, she does not hold her weapon in her hands as most figures do. Instead, her Energon Bow mounts on a peg in her arms, with her hands being positioned to give the appearance of her using the bow. The bow itself is spring-loaded, firing a grey missile 'arrow'.

:Arcee (and the rest of the Scout wave) are exclusive to Target stores, where they are all part of a Robo-Vision promotion. Arcee comes with a Robo-Vision Decoder which allows you to see the Robo-Vision Code printed on her cardback. Starting June 2, 2007, Target's website allowed users to input those codes to access exclusive content. <!--Arcee's code is "BULLSEYE."--> Similar to the Cyber Planet Key from the Transformers:Cybertron toyline.

: This mold also was used to make Superlink Ariel Paradron Type, as well as 2005 Descent into Evil set's Chromia, Flamewar, Flareup, and Elita-One.

*Arcee (Deluxe, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MA-11

: Arcee transforms into a purple 2006 Buell Firebolt motorcycle.

Trivia
* Arcee was originally going to be a member of the live-action movie's Autobot cast, but was later replaced by Ironhide.

The Allspark is the source of Transformer life. Frequently it is glossed as the essence of Primus.

Evolution
The concept of The Allspark has evolved and coalesced over the course of almost all Transformer fiction since the line began. The specific concepts that have evolved into "The Allspark" are traced below:

Generation 1 Cartoon
The Autobot Matrix of Leadership is a powerful, mysterious, and ancient vessel that contains the wisdom of all past Autobot leaders.

Marvel Comic
The Autobot Creation Matrix is a powerful and ancient vessel that contains the essence of the Transformers God Primus. All Transformers lifeforces are said to be fragments of Primus' own.

Beast Wars
Transformer life force is first described as a spark. This spark is said to come from the Matrix when a Transformer is born and return to it upon his death. The exact nature of what the Matrix here is not established but wait for it...

Beast Machines
What was known as "the Matrix" in Beast Wars is first refered to as "the Allspark." It is defined as the dimension from which all Transformer sparks that exist, have existed, or ever will exist originate, existing as a collective whole.

When a Transformer is "born," a single spark departs the Allspark and suffuses itself into the new Transformer body, giving it true life and soul. When the Transformer then reaches the end of its life, the spark departs its body and returns to the Allspark; all the knowledge that the Transformer acquired and all of its life experiences are contained with the spark, and they are added to the totality that is the Allspark.

(The connection of the Allspark to Primus is not made explicit at this point but seems an obvious one to many fans).

Dreamwave
The Well of All Sparks exists on Cybertron and seems to have some connection to the mystical source of Transformer life.

The fictive foundation of Sparks and the Allspark laid down in the Beast Era material is taken up and brought together with the concept of Primus

Means of access
There are several known means of accessing the Allspark.

*Most prominently, there is the Matrix of Leadership, the legendary talisman carried by Autobot leaders. In addition to permitting the creation of new Transformer life by transferring a spark from the Allspark, the Matrix also allows Autobots to access the Allspark's accumulated wisdom by sending their own spark into it, to be guided and informed by the sparks of the deceased Autobot leaders. This method, in particular, seems to have caused some confusion amongst Transformers - the Allspark has been called "The Matrix" on several occasions, and many Transformers labor under the misconception that the Matrix of Leadership actually contains the sparks of the Autobot leaders.

*Secondly, there is the mega-computer Vector Sigma, which, like the Matrix, endows new Transformers with life through the transferrence of sparks. The most common method of communication with the Allspark via Vector Sigma involves the use of its shell program, the Oracle, which permits a "receptive spark" to commune directly with the collective intelligence of the Allspark; at one stage, however, Optimus Prime used the empty shell of the Matrix of Leadership to access the Allspark through Vector Sigma and spoke directly to Alpha Trion.

All Spark (cube)
(Note: The movie uses the spelling "All Spark" (two words, rather than one) to refer to the object.)

The All Spark is a physical object of mysterious origin. A large, metallic cube, it is inscribed with ornate runes and is believed to be responsible for creating and sustaining the Transformer race and the planet of Cybertron itself.
It is also believed that solving the puzzle of the Cube will grant you all the pleasure of Heaven.

(Note: The movie's All Spark is a big cube because, in the original screenplay, it was going to be called the "Energon Cube.")

Prequel
Swayed to the side of evil by the lure of the All Spark's power, Cybertron's co-ruler Lord Megatron went rogue with his own army, seeking to take control of it. At Optimus Prime's orders, Bumblebee and a group of Autobots secretly transported the All spark to Tyger Pax, only to be pursued by the Decepticons. Megatron himself took a personal hand in the torture of Bumblebee, attempting to force him to reveal the All spark's location, but his efforts went in vain, and the All Spark was blasted into space to put it beyond Megatron's reach. In response, Megatron crushed Bumblebee's voice box and began to follow the All Spark to Earth.

Notes
*The All Spark is comparable to both the Linkage, (the communal soul dimension of the Mini-Cons) and also aspects of the Creation Matrix as mentioned above. Having dropped the title "Energon Cube" early in development, the writers adopted another canon term from G1 that, while still not accurate, is slightly more in keeping with the nature of the original Matrix. This completes the slow convergence of the Matrix, Vector Sigma, Energon and Primus into a single concept.

:Madame Cee is a human in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Madame Cee is a tinkerer extraordinaire. From the workshops on her island, Madame Cee can create any sort of robot her mind can conceive. Mostly, this means pigs, she's obsessed with robot pigs.

Madame Cee is an imposing figure with very pale, almost grey skin, mesmerising eyes that flash like pearls, and a dress that shimmers like molten lead. Her striking appearance can overwhelm an unprepared individual, who will find himself following her unquestioningly. Once aware of the effect, a disciplined mind can override it.

For all their mechanical sophistication, Madame Cee's creations are ultimately automatons, lacking any mind of their own. Megatron found it necessary to rewire them with sophisticated computer brains programmed to obey him.

Madame Cee is based on the mythological figure Circe from Homer's Odyssey.

Fiction
Seeking out Madame Cee for her expertise in robotics (as well as the high quality metallic ore on Carob Island), Megatron forced her to build replicas of various Autobots, which he refitted to commit acts of destruction. Madame Cee had a considerable dislike for Megatron, but once he moved out of her fortress, setting up shop to the west, she was content to fabricate the parts he wanted in exchange for Decepticon diggers mining the ore she needed... as long as she didn't have to deal with the Decepticons directly.

When the Autobots came to Carob Island seeking to clear Sideswipe of crimes committed by his clone, Madame Cee captured Hound and Bumblebee, intending to rebuild them into more pig robots. She lead Prowl, Ratchet, Brawn, and Windcharger to her fortress, where Prowl discovered her role in building robot duplicates. Fending off an attack by Ravage, Prowl forced her to reactivate Hound and Bumblebee, and give them directions to Megatron's base.Deadly Paradise

Madame Cee's final fate is unknown, though it is implied she will be left free.
