The Cub is blessed with a natural talent for warfare and wanton destruction. It's what he was born to do, and as a novice training to become one of [[Shokaract|Shokaract's]] heralds, he's out to prove he's the best as what he does.

The Cub's wolf mode is armed with tungsten claws and titanium teeth. His nose gives him an almost infallible tracking ability, which he hones by hunting rebels hiding in the sub-city levels. His robot mode is capable of short flight via jets located in the soles of his feet. By far, however, the Cub's greatest weapon his his feral berserker rage. While in lupus mode, the Cub can be completely overtaken by his instincts, fighting with a maddened savagery no opponent can match.

Ironically, the Cub's own vast natural talent may be his greatest weakness, as he's never had to face a challenge on the battlefield his feral rage hasn't been able to overwhelm. The Cub's fission-brother [[Cataclysm]] took him under his wing to train him in preparation for the [[Ko-tu]] (the rite of passage for becoming a herald.)

The Cub was pitted him against [[Swoop (G1)|The Veteran]], an experienced rebel fighter. The Cub failed to assassinate his designated target, and instead limped home, the consequence of failure being death. The execution fell on Cataclysm, who made a point of tearing his brother apart slowly and systematically so that none could accuse him of growing soft. The Cub was blinded, had his arm blown off, then was left to die.

His still-functioning remains were recovered by Predacon rebels under the command of [[Sandstorm]], who persuaded the Veteran to attempt to merge sparks with the Cub's so that they could acquire his inside knowledge of Shokaract's plans. The Veteran did so, and a new being called [[Windrazor (BW)|Windrazor]] was created. After the merge, the Cub's consciousness struggled with the Veteran's for dominance until they accepted one another and became a single individual.

Doomstone

The Doomstone is a powerful crystal formed within the chest compartment of [[Nemesis_Prime (Armada)|Nemesis Prime]] as he (it?) travelled across the universe destroying planets, and was eventually transferred to [[Ravenus]]. {{storylink|Linkage (comic)|Linkage}}

It contains the collected and condensed negative psychic energies of Nemesis Prime's victims; their pain, agony, suffering and despair. The minions of [[Unicron]] put the Doomstone into Ravenus and used his enhanced Powerlinx command to kidnap the "free" [[Mini-Con]]s [[Twirl]] and [[Servo]], planning to use the link formed with the Powerlinx to release the Doomstone's energies into the [[Linkage (dimension)|Linkage]], destroying the souls and minds of all Mini-Cons and returning them to the mindless engines of destruction they were created to be. Should the crystal be improperly handled, its energies would wipe out all life on whatever planet it was on - in this case, Earth.

The minions of Unicron were just a hair too late, though. Thanks to the intervention of [[Redline]] and [[Kingbolt]], Ravenus was contained, and the newly-enhanced Mini-Cons were able to extract the Doomstone. Redline sealed it inside his extra-dimensional storage space to protect it from harm until they could figure out how to deal with it properly.

The Aqua Raider Team was sent to Hawaii to capture the [[Super Stunt Team]] and [[Sonic Assault Team]], or at least hold them off long enough for the [[Speed Chaser Team]] to arrive with the massive [[Ravenus]]. While [[Bilge]] and [[Freeboot]] invaded the Mini-Cons' shuttle base (finding it empty), Sunburn was on backup patrol and observed the energy discharge that signaled the unlocking of the [[Master Key]]. The Aqua Raider Team charged in, but were easily captured by the newly powered-up [[Redline]] and [[Combusta]].

When Ravenus captured [[Twirl]], Sunburn joked about whether or not Redline could catch up with the escaping [[Bulk]] in time. Combusta overheard her and used her new powers to extract from Sunburn everything she knew about the [[Doomstone]] held within Ravenus. When Redline and [[Kingbolt]] were able to stop Ravenus and contain him, the Aqua Raider Team retreated via "Trans-phase" mode, letting them slip through the energy wall and return to their dark master [[Unicron]].

Though Sunburn is not explicitly shown in the final battle where [[Autobot]], [[Decepticon]] and [[Mini-Con]] alike faced off against Unicron, it is assumed she was part of that final battle (Freeboot is shown to have been there), and it is highly likely that she met her end there.
