So while her many sports cars typically wind up destroyed during Transformer battles (into which she inadvertently steps ''all the time'', no matter where on the globe she travels in order to get away from "the talking cars"), she can just buy a new one. She also seems to have a nearly superhuman constitution to survive some of the things she has, which is quite fortunate considering her situation.

==Synopsis==
[[Megatron (RID)|Megatron]] has discovered that a volcano at a Caribbean resort on [[Montrose Island]] holds vast amounts of energy that could be tapped into, and he dispatches the Predacon trio to investigate—while [[Scourge (RID)|Scourge]] and [[Sky-Byte (RID)|Sky-Byte]] guard the volcano (and glare at each other). While investigating, the Predacons accidentally trigger a volcanic eruption and have to flee for their lives from molten lava. ([[Kelly (RID)|Kelly]] happens to be at this same resort and is using the hot springs—as it gets hotter under the eruption, she relaxes, thinking the hotel workers turned the heat up for her.)

Discovering the situation and realising the resort could be wiped out, [[Optimus Prime (RID)|Optimus Prime]] heads there with the [[Spy Changer|Spy Changers]]. Sky-Byte is eager to take on his enemy once more—and has composed a haiku for the occasion—but Scourge wants to kill Optimus himself, and interferes with Sky-Byte's attack to launch his own. Sky-Byte is livid but can't get the Decepticon to let him in on the battle.

Optimus is unable to convince the enemy to call off the fight until after the volcano is stopped. When [[T-AI]] reports in that only his Blizzard Storm attack can stop a lava overflow, he orders the Spy Changers to take on Sky-Byte and Scourge while he stops the eruption. Unfortunately for him, the [[Commando|Commandos]] have arrived and attempt to shoot him down!

The Spy Changers quickly regroup to shoot it out with the Commandos, while [[Hot Shot (RID)|Hot Shot]] orders [[Mirage (RID)|Mirage]] to hold off Scourge—that doesn't work very well, and Optimus Prime is blasted from behind. [[W.A.R.S.]] intervenes to hold Scourge back, allowing Optimus to use his Blizzard Storm and freeze the lava, but this will only last for eight minutes. To make matters worse, the Commandos combine into [[Ruination (RID)|Ruination]] and unleash a rapid-fire barrage on the Spy Changers. Down below, the resort is evacuated... except for Kelly, still relaxing in the spring and not noticing what's going on.

Sky-Byte decides to get rid of both Optimus and Scourge in one swoop, destroying the ice plug and part of the volcano to speed up the lava flow. Under orders, the Spychangers quickly take down Ruination (by... pushing him over) and then erect a makeshift rock barricade to hold the lava back. (Meanwhile, Kelly finds the spring getting too hot but is too embarrassed to get out and ask for it to be turned down after she asked to have it turned up.) [[Ruination (RID)|Ruination]] recovers and attacks the barricade, forcing Prime to take him down again-but now they're surrounded by lava and the island is doomed. Scourge confronts Sky-Byte over trying to attack him, with the shark desperately lying that he was only after Optimus.

The Predacon trio finally escapes the lava flow only to emerge outside the volcano with even more lava—"it's following us!"

Hot Shot quickly figures out they can save the resort by redirecting the lava flow, and the Spychangers initiate their group attack "[[Inferno Blast]]" to carve a path for it. The Predacons—still fleeing—are ordered to attack and stop the Autobots, with Scourge joining in with a barrage attack (which deliberately hits the Preds too—"what goes around comes around, Sky-Byte."), but it fails to stop them from successfully finishing their path to the ocean. As Optimus takes down Ruination, the Predacons fall into the ocean and are blasted off when the lava comes after them.

With the resort saved, Optimus thanks the Spy Changers for their help. Hot Shot tells him they'll always be ready for action. And back at the resort, Kelly finally decides to emerge from the spring—boiled to the point of collapse.

==Synopsis==
[[Megatron (RID)|Megatron]] has discovered that a volcano at a Caribbean resort on [[Montrose Island]] holds vast amounts of energy that could be tapped into, and he dispatches the Predacon trio to investigate—while [[Scourge (RID)|Scourge]] and [[Sky-Byte (RID)|Sky-Byte]] guard the volcano (and glare at each other). While investigating, the Predacons accidentally trigger a volcanic eruption and have to flee for their lives from molten lava. ([[Kelly (RID)|Kelly]] happens to be at this same resort and is using the hot springs—as it gets hotter under the eruption, she relaxes, thinking the hotel workers turned the heat up for her.)

Discovering the situation and realising the resort could be wiped out, [[Optimus Prime (RID)|Optimus Prime]] heads there with the [[Spy Changer|Spy Changers]]. Sky-Byte is eager to take on his enemy once more—and has composed a haiku for the occasion—but Scourge wants to kill Optimus himself, and interferes with Sky-Byte's attack to launch his own. Sky-Byte is livid but can't get the Decepticon to let him in on the battle.

Optimus is unable to convince the enemy to call off the fight until after the volcano is stopped. When [[T-AI]] reports in that only his Blizzard Storm attack can stop a lava overflow, he orders the Spy Changers to take on Sky-Byte and Scourge while he stops the eruption. Unfortunately for him, the [[Commando|Commandos]] have arrived and attempt to shoot him down!

The Spy Changers quickly regroup to shoot it out with the Commandos, while [[Hot Shot (RID)|Hot Shot]] orders [[Mirage (RID)|Mirage]] to hold off Scourge—that doesn't work very well, and Optimus Prime is blasted from behind. [[W.A.R.S.]] intervenes to hold Scourge back, allowing Optimus to use his Blizzard Storm and freeze the lava, but this will only last for eight minutes. To make matters worse, the Commandos combine into [[Ruination (RID)|Ruination]] and unleash a rapid-fire barrage on the Spy Changers. Down below, the resort is evacuated... except for Kelly, still relaxing in the spring and not noticing what's going on.

Sky-Byte decides to get rid of both Optimus and Scourge in one swoop, destroying the ice plug and part of the volcano to speed up the lava flow. Under orders, the Spychangers quickly take down Ruination (by... pushing him over) and then erect a makeshift rock barricade to hold the lava back. (Meanwhile, Kelly finds the spring getting too hot but is too embarrassed to get out and ask for it to be turned down after she asked to have it turned up.) [[Ruination (RID)|Ruination]] recovers and attacks the barricade, forcing Prime to take him down again-but now they're surrounded by lava and the island is doomed. Scourge confronts Sky-Byte over trying to attack him, with the shark desperately lying that he was only after Optimus.

The Predacon trio finally escapes the lava flow only to emerge outside the volcano with even more lava—"it's following us!"

Hot Shot quickly figures out they can save the resort by redirecting the lava flow, and the Spychangers initiate their group attack "[[Inferno Blast]]" to carve a path for it. The Predacons—still fleeing—are ordered to attack and stop the Autobots, with Scourge joining in with a barrage attack (which deliberately hits the Preds too—"what goes around comes around, Sky-Byte."), but it fails to stop them from successfully finishing their path to the ocean. As Optimus takes down Ruination, the Predacons fall into the ocean and are blasted off when the lava comes after them.

With the resort saved, Optimus thanks the Spy Changers for their help. Hot Shot tells him they'll always be ready for action. And back at the resort, Kelly finally decides to emerge from the spring—boiled to the point of collapse.

To put it lightly, her luck ''sucks''. On the bright side, Kelly appears to be fabulously wealthy (or at least has great insurance policies). So while her many sports cars typically wind up destroyed during Transformer battles (into which she inadvertently steps ''all the time'', no matter where on the globe she travels in order to get away from "the talking cars"), she can just buy a new one.

Kelly is also quite boy-crazy, always on the lookout for a good man. However, thanks to her bad luck, the only man to ever show any interest in her is [[Side Burn (RID)|Side Burn]], who, unbeknownst to her, is actually macking on the red sports cars she drives.

Kelly's first encounter with those strange, talking cars from another planet happened when her new sports utility vehicle ([[X-Brawn]] to his friends), came to life in response to a call from [[Optimus Prime (RID)|Optimus Prime]]. Not wanting to lug her into battle, X-Brawn apologized in advance and then launched her violently through his sunroof. {{storylink|Battle Protocol!}}

Her second talking car encounter introduced her to Side Burn, whose advances on her red sports car she misinterpreted as an interest in her. Shortly after this, she took delivery of another red sports car at the docks. Unbeknownst to her, the car contained a bomb planted by terrorists which was coveted by the Predacons, and the car was destroyed when [[Sky-Byte (RID)|Sky-Byte]] retrieved said device. She was saved from injury by [[Prowl (RID)|Prowl]]. {{storylink|An Explosive Situation}}

Other modes of transport proved to be just as much of a problem: [[Team Bullet Train|bullet trains]] in [[Metro City]] had a habit of abandoning their carriages, {{storylink|Bullet Train to the Rescue}} and her boating trip was spoiled by police cars and fire engines falling from the sky. {{storylink|The Hunt for Black Pyramid}}

It wasn't long before Kelly was seeking therapy for her constant visions of talking cars and giant robotic animals, and her doctor suggested a quiet, restful walk in some ruins. Another holiday, this time in [[China]], was also ruined by Side Burn. {{storylink|The Ultimate Robot Warrior}} Kelly's next attempted vacation took her to America, where her hike in the American wildness was interrupted by the arrival of Optimus Prime and the [[Autobot Brothers]], and a subsequent earthquake as the Predacons uncovered an Autobot spaceship. However it wasn't a total loss, as she was rescued by some cute soldiers and taken back to their army base.

Of course, her luck didn't last, as the base was soon attacked by [[Megatron (RID)|Megatron]] and his Predacons, who had obtained six [[Protoform]]s and were looking for [[alternate mode]]s for them to scan. Attempting to flee in a truck full of rocket fuel (Kelly was a trained truck driver), she almost drove the rig into a crater but was saved by Optimus Prime, shortly before all three of them were scanned to create the Decepticon [[Scourge (RID)|Scourge]]'s form. Scourge's bio-signature was, as a result, partially human. {{storylink|The Decepticons}} This would later allow him to pass himself off as human enough to briefly control [[Fortress Maximus (RID)|Fortress Maximus]]. {{storylink|The Human Element}}

Returning to civilisation, Kelly tried her luck at a casino, only to be interrupted by a power cut caused by the destruction of [[Sherman Dam]]. {{storylink|Commandos}} She went on to a Caribbean resort on [[Montrose Island]], and enjoyed the hot pools. So much so she stayed in them when the volcano's increased activity heated them up to an abnormally high temperature, almost poaching her. {{storylink|Volcano}}

Perhaps deciding that vacations were more stressful than relaxing, Kelly returned to Metro City where she found being chased by Side Burn was becoming a regular feature of her day. == What specifically is a "Transformers toy"? ==

The wiki seems to have adopted a its own definition of "toy" that is a bit different than what is ordinarily thought of as what a "toy" is. For example, we put things role playing toys and R.P.M. [[Mini-Vehicle]]s into the "merchandise" category. I don't disagree. Those things aren't "Transformers toys" even though if you asked a thousand people on the street, they would probably all call them "toys". But it does make me wonder if we can define what we mean by "Transformers toys". I'll start with two possible suggestions:
#A Transformers toy is meant to represent a character in Transformers fiction. An [[:Image:ROTF RPMs OptimusPrime.jpg|R.P.M. Mini-Vehicle]] does not actually represent a Transformer in fiction that has his robot mode on the bottom of a vehicle. There is no fictional [[:Image:MoviePrime BattleRigBlaster.jpg|Optimus Prime that transforms from a truck into a hand holding a gun]]. If the toy has no meaning fictionally, it is not a "Transformers toy". Where does this leave non-Transforming figures? With the exception of [[Action Master]]s, non-Transforming Transformer figures are not intended to represent non-Transforming fictional Transformers (I don't think). So I wouldn't think they count as "Transformers toys". Maybe a new category is needed.

In my opinion, character pages should be separated in the sections "Action Figures" and "Merchandise," seeing as I always thought those were better terms to express what we consider to stick in the first category of the products sections of every character page. All SCF/HOCs are under Merchandise (although several are missing). Most 3" Titaniums are listed as Toys. The exceptions are Optimus Prime (G1), Starscream (G1), Predaking, Cliffjumper (Movie), Sunstreaker (G1), Ark, and Seeker (body type); all of which are under Merchandise. In the interests of full disclosure, I must admit that I was the one who put the Ark and Seeker listings under Merchandise. Is there a consensus as to where to put these listings? However, both factions of [[Transformer]]s are suddenly attacked by monsters on which their weapons have no effect. It turns out that the [[Quintesson]]s are using Daniel's nightmares to create chaotic monsters which will destroy the unpredictable Autobots and [[Decepticon]]s.

Springer and [[Razorclaw (G1)|Razorclaw]] are captured by a [[dragon]] and taken to a castle. While there, they meet a princess chained in a dungeon, whom Springer unbinds. She tells them of a magic lance that can kill the dragon and claims that her father will give them [[gold]] if they free her. Springer agrees to free the Princess and slay the dragon regardless of the reward, while Razorclaw acts like he's on the verge of coughing up a hairball.

Back at the battle, Rodimus, Magnus, and the Predacons are being threatened by a witch and giant. They manage to dodge a blast from the witch that turns the giant into a toad and Magnus finds a bucket of water which destroys the witch. However, a giant snake monster appears from the ground and nearly swallows the Transformers before a plane, piloted by a familiar face, rescues them. The Quintessons realize that Daniel's subconscious mind is assisting the Autobots, so they increase the power to suppress his help. At the castle, Springer is trying to find way out, while Razorclaw has decided to wait until the guards come. Suddenly, Springer thinks of a plan, but requires Razorclaw's help.

Elsewhere, Rodimus, Magnus, and the Predacons find an abandoned amusement park. Heading into the fun house, [[Rampage (G1)|Rampage]] and [[Tantrum]] are attacked by the mirrors, while [[Divebomb (G1)|Divebomb]] falls down a large hole. Rodimus and [[Headstrong]] are attacked by a giant Galvatron, which is then defeated by a giant Rodimus Prime. Rodimus realizes that they are somehow in Daniel's dream, due to the situation matching the advice he'd previously given. At the castle, Springer is fighting the dragon but needs help. Razorclaw refuses to help, but the Princess reminds Razorclaw that the dragon will kill him as well. Razorclaw reluctantly serves as Springer's mount and he stabs the dragon, killing it. The castle also disappears and a yellow brick road appears.

Meanwhile, Rodimus is calling out to Daniel. Shocked by the revelation that Daniel is trying to help save the Transformers in his nightmares, the Quintessons set the machine on its highest level, which will kill Daniel. The dream world begins to deteriorate, but the Princess guides them through the storm. Daniel is able to draw the Quintessons in subconsciously and the Autobots rescue him. Razorclaw wants to scrap the Autobots, but Headstrong cannot [[Transformation|transform]], preventing them from becoming [[Predaking]]. Razorclaw orders the Predacons to retreat.

Back at home, Daniel wakes up, not remembering what happened, and tells Rodimus that he took control of the dream. Rodimus tells Daniel that he won't have any more nightmares involving Galvatron or snake monsters. Daniel, confused, asks how Rodimus knew about the snakes.

==Synopsis==
[[Daniel Witwicky (G1)|Daniel]] has been having nightmares involving a giant [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]]. Worried, [[Spike Witwicky (G1)|Spike]] and [[Carly]] ask [[Hot Rod (G1)|Rodimus Prime]] to come visit him. Rodimus manages to calm Daniel, but then has to leave. After he falls back asleep, a tentacle grabs Daniel...

Meanwhile, Rodimus, [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], and [[Springer (G1)|Springer]] are driving through some thick fog when the [[Predacon (G1)|Predacons]] attack the [[Autobot]]s. However, both factions of [[Transformer]]s are suddenly attacked by monsters on which their weapons have no effect. It turns out that the [[Quintesson]]s are using Daniel's nightmares to create chaotic monsters which will destroy the unpredictable Autobots and [[Decepticon]]s.

Springer and [[Razorclaw (G1)|Razorclaw]] are captured by a [[dragon]] and taken to a castle. While there, they meet a princess chained in a dungeon, whom Springer unbinds. She tells them of a magic lance that can kill the dragon and claims that her father will give them [[gold]] if they free her. Springer agrees to free the Princess and slay the dragon regardless of the reward, while Razorclaw acts like he's on the verge of coughing up a hairball.

Back at the battle, Rodimus, Magnus, and the Predacons are being threatened by a witch and giant. They manage to dodge a blast from the witch that turns the giant into a toad and Magnus finds a bucket of water which destroys the witch. However, a giant snake monster appears from the ground and nearly swallows the Transformers before a plane, piloted by a familiar face, rescues them. The Quintessons realize that Daniel's subconscious mind is assisting the Autobots, so they increase the power to suppress his help. At the castle, Springer is trying to find way out, while Razorclaw has decided to wait until the guards come. Suddenly, Springer thinks of a plan, but requires Razorclaw's help.

Elsewhere, Rodimus, Magnus, and the Predacons find an abandoned amusement park. Heading into the fun house, [[Rampage (G1)|Rampage]] and [[Tantrum]] are attacked by the mirrors, while [[Divebomb (G1)|Divebomb]] falls down a large hole. Rodimus and [[Headstrong]] are attacked by a giant Galvatron, which is then defeated by a giant Rodimus Prime. Rodimus realizes that they are somehow in Daniel's dream. At the castle, Springer is fighting the dragon but needs help. Razorclaw refuses to help, but the Princess reminds Razorclaw that the dragon will kill him as well. Razorclaw serves as Springer's mount and he stabs the dragon, killing it. The castle also disappears and a yellow brick road appears.

Meanwhile, Rodimus is calling out to Daniel. Shocked, the Quintessons set the machine on its highest level, which will kill Daniel. The dream world begins to deteriorate, but the Princess guides them through the storm. Daniel is able to draw the Quintessons in subconsciously and the Autobots rescue him. Razorclaw wants to scrap the Autobots, but Headstrong cannot [[Transformation|transform]], preventing them from becoming [[Predaking]]. Razorclaw orders the Predacons to retreat.

Back at home, Daniel wakes up, not remembering what happened, and tells Rodimus that he took control of the dream. Rodimus tells Daniel that he won't have any more nightmares involving Galvatron or snake monsters. Daniel, confused, asks how Rodimus knew about the snakes.

* Rodimus Prime's optics change from blue to red and back again several times.
* When Rodimus Prime remarks the giant Rodimus fighting the giant Galvatron is like in Daniel's nightmare, his voice is enhanced to sound like the giant Rodimus.
* There's evidence to suggest this episode had a troubled production, as the finished animation is missing in-between cels in several scenes (leaving the keyframes only). Additionally, the episode under-runs to such an extent that ''two'' [[Secret Files of Teletraan II|secret files]] are tagged onto the end rather than one.
* In one shot, a Quintesson's body is missing, leaving his face floating in air as he talks.

===Continuity errors===
* It's never explained exactly where everyone is during the episode. The opening scene at the Witwicky house implies that it's Earth, yet the ending scenes appear to be on Cybertron. It's never made clear, and it begs the question of how the Predacons are able to run around unhindered on the Autobot-controlled planet. Ditto for the Quintessons, who appear to be operating on the same planet.
* Likewise, just how the Quintessons' magical machine works is never given any explanation. If it can project a real-life version of anything at all, wouldn't it make more sense to just hook it up to one of the Quintessons and have them imagine a really big Transformer-eating Sharkticon?
* What happened to Springer's daring escape plan?
