Giant Decepticon Warrior is a Decepticon (duh) from the Generation 1 series.

The Giant Decepticon Warrior loves to try and stomp things. Like tiny Micromasters, log cabins, and tiny women. Stomping is what he does.

Fiction
Micromasters commercial
Stomping along, Giant Decepticon Warrior tried to stomp a tiny Micromaster city. The Micromasters didn't cotton to this and swarmed him like hundreds of tiny ninjas, crawling all over Warrior and toppling him.

(Note: It is worth mentioning that the city Warrior was trying to stomp contained both Autobot and Decepticon Micromaster bases. Clearly, he is indiscriminate in his stomping.)

The Ultimate Guide
The Giant Decepticon Warrior is shown in an illustration of Maccadam's Old Oil House, where he appears to be serving the role of bouncer, hauling an unruly patron away via the popular "robo-snuggy" move. Here he's not exactly giant, but still pretty big. Any relation to Maccadams' other bouncer, Rocky, is speculative at best.

Trivia
* The descriptor "Giant Decepticon Warrior" was given by the Japanese Transformers Generations guidebook.

* His model appears to be a frankensteining of several extant characters with details altered; his feet seem to derive from the Autobot Headmaster Fortress Maximus, his torso and forearms from Cerebros, while his head, shins and colors are generally reminiscent of the Decepticon Headmaster Scorponok.
Ricochet is a Nebulan "double" Targetmaster partnered with Boomer and the Autobot Quickmix

His friends call Ricochet mercurial--to his face. Under their breath, they might mutter manic depressive. Ricochet shifts without notice between a furious passion for combat and sulking, angsty depression, needing to be coerced and cajoled onto the battlefield. His fellow Nebulan Boomer takes it on himself to cheer up Ricochet when this happens. Fortunately, he's good at this.

On Nebulos, Ricochet was a renowned environmental sculptor (think, "landscaping as a fine art") who witnessed the destruction of several of his famous sculptures by the Decepticons. Stung by the perceived insult, he signed up to join the Autobots.

Ricochet was bio-engineered to turn into an automatic sub-machine gun that fires titanium-tipped, armor-piercing explosive rounds. As a Nebulan Targetmaster partner, Ricochet is able to combine with Boomer to increase the power of his own weapon or boost the power of Boomer's sonic pulse cannon.

Ricochet responds poorly to criticism.

Quickmix always holds Ricochet in his right hand.

Fiction
Marvel Comics Continuity
The Headmasters<br>
Though Ricochet does not appear in the comic, the Terrorcons (and specifically Blot) are shown destroying several elaborately designed trees in the Nebulan city of Splendora. This could be the vandalism which caused Ricochet to join the Autobots.

Ricochet and Boomer were paired with Quickmix on Cybertron during a series of fuel raids with the recently revived Grimlock, Jazz and Bumblebee. When Galvatron attacked some months later, Ricochet, Boomer and the other Nebulan "double" Targetmasters were absent during their Autobot partners' fight with Galvatron.

Toys
Ricochet, like all the "double" Targetmaster Nebulans, is one of the smallest and least complicated Transformers. Fold the barrel away, and stand him up. He was released with the Autobot Quickmix in 1988. No version of this character or mold was released in Japan.
Mazda's RX-8 Website
In 2004, Mazda created a promotional website for the Alternator RX-8. The site was unique in that it was set "within" the Transformers universe, including futuristic views of Earth's cities after 20 years of contact with Transformers.

Creation
At the Mazda Concept Lab in Hiroshima, Japan, a secret project was conducted to create a concept car to host the 2004 Detroit Auto Show. By giving the RX-8 prototype more "zoom zoom," the Lead Engineer was able to bring the car to life.

Press Release
Mazda's in-universe press release following Zoom-Zoom's creation read:

<i>The TRANSFORMERS® RX-8 is a TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS vehicle that combines the spark from an AUTOBOT soldier with pure 100% MAZDA ZOOM-ZOOM. It's a powerful combination that brings together the finest qualities of the AUTOBOT champions and the ultimate in HUMAN engineering. Powered by an amazing ROTARY RENESIS ENGINE, the RX-8 is determined to carry on the fight to save planet Earth for as long as it takes. While exceedingly powerful, the RX-8 isn't some muscle-bound thug. He constantly impresses his adversaries with stunning displays of grace and agility. A true athlete, the RX-8 is a real testament to what can be accomplished when brain and brawn come together. His physical prowess and confident attitude ensure his place at the forefront of the battle against evil and second-rate automobiles, giving all sentient beings the right to experience the freedom and exhilaration they so richly deserve.</i>

Alternators Backstory
The RX-8 site also included the only English-language story for the Alternators ever published.

<i>After the evil DECEPTICONS used COSMIC RUST to all but wipe out the AUTOBOTS who were protecting MOTHER EARTH, HUMANS decided to create their own TRANSFORMERS in a last ditch effort to save the planet. Car companies like MAZDA funded the project, implanting sparks from the damaged Autobots into new, man-made BINALTECH bodies. The fight continues.</i>

Toys
Alternators
Zoom-Zoom is a variant of the Binaltech Meister (the Japanese name for Jazz) toy, the primary difference being red plastic and paint replacing white. He shipped in a 1:1 ratio with Meister; every case had an equal number of Meisters and Zoom-Zooms. Like all Binaltech toys, he uses painted die-cast metal for most of his car-panel parts rather than colored plastic.

Zoom-Zoom was actually the first glimpse the fandom had of the Mazda Alternator toy, from a Flash presentation on the Mazda website. An early 3D model in red was presented before Hasbro or Takara had announced the toy. Fan speculation ran rampant as to who exactly the character was, as the head design was not what the toy actually ended up with, though some fans took to (loudly and jokingly) claiming the character should be called "Zoom-Zoom" due to the prevalence of the phrase in the animation. Apparently, Binaltech fiction author Hirofumi Ichikawa took this to heart.

(Note: Zoom-Zoom is only referred to by this name within the accompanying booklet. The toy's box still refers to it as "Meister", even though it shows a picture of the red version on the front. Aside from this photo, the packaging and booklets in both versions were identical.)
This alternate version of Tigerhawk was corrupted by the Vok, and he killed his universe's Megatron. When Unicron abducted him from the multiverse, the Dark God gained a general who commands the full spectrum of the Vok's elemental powers. Razorclaw oversees the Cauldron, which is an arena deep inside Unicron where time-tossed combatants from across the multiverse fight. He harbors a special hatred for Optimus Primal, his former commander.

His spark is binary -- it consists of the Sparks of an alternate universe's Airazor and Tigatron. Time will tell if their noble influence can push to the surface.
A group of Maximals and Autobots are abducted from Cybertron into the belly of Unicron. They are marched into the Cauldron and paraded in front of Razorclaw and his lieutenants Reptilion and Obsidian. Razorclaw explains who he is and locks the Autobots and Maximals away, telling them to prepare for battle. But while Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are forced to battle in the arena, Optimus Primal breaks in and fights Razorclaw. Mistaken for Tigerhawk at first, Razorclaw soon clarifies who he really is. However, Razorclaw's Vok-powered attacks are mere fuel for Primal's body, and Razorclaw is temporarily subdued. All of the prisoners contained within the Cauldron are released, and though Razorclaw and his lieutenants pursue them, Primal leads nearly all of them to safety. Only Blackarachnia and Shadow Striker stay behind, seduced by Unicron's influence.
Zoom-Zoom was actually the first glimpse the fandom had of the Mazda Alternator toy, from a Flash presentation on the Mazda website. An early 3D model in red was presented before Hasbro or Takara had announced the toy. Fan speculation ran rampant as to who exactly the character was as the head design was not what the toy actually ended up with, though some fans took to (loudly and jokingly) claiming the character should be called "Zoom-Zoom", due to the prevalence of the phrase in the animation. Apparently, Binaltech author Hirofumi Ichikawa took this to heart.

(Note: Zoom-Zoom is only referred to this name within the accompanying booklet. The toy's box still refers to it as "Meister", even though it shows a picture of the red version on the front. Aside from this photo, the packaging and booklets in both versions were identical.)

Zoom-Zoom is an Autobot in the Generation 1 era.

Zoom-Zoom is not a true, living Transformer. He is a human-created artificial intelligence program based on data taken from the Autobot Jazz, placed inside a spare Mazda RX-8-model Alternator Transformer body. Jazz gave Zoom-Zoom his name (based on Mazda's advertising slogan), and treats him in many respects like a son or brother. He's even tried teaching Zoom-Zoom how to dance.

Though Zoom-Zoom has a limited degree of intelligence and independent thought, he is combat-capable. His body is no different from Jazz's Alternator form save coloration, so he can hold his own in battle, but lacks experience or improvisational skills. As such, he requires steady supervision on the field. Hopefully, Zoom-Zoom's learning capabilities are enough to eventually overcome this weakness.

Fiction
Mazda's RX-8 Website
In 2004, Mazda created a promotional website for the Alternator RX-8. The site was unique in that it was set 'within' the Transformers Universe, including futuristic views of Earth's cities after 20 years of contact with Transformers.

Creation
At the Mazda Concept Lab in Hirishima Japan, a secret project was conducted to create a concept car to host the 2004 detroit auto show. By giving the RX-8 prototype more 'zoom zoom,' the Lead Enginner was able to bring the car to life.

A true athelete, the RX-8 is a real testament to what can be accomplished when brain and brawn come together. His physical prowress and confident attitude ensure his place at the forefront of the battle against evil and second-rate automobiles, giving all sentient beings the right to experience the freedom and exhiliration they so richly deserve.</i>

Car companies like MAZDA funded the project, implanting sparks fromt he damaged Autobots into new, man-made BINALTECH bodies. The fight continues.</i>

Toys
Zoom-Zoom is a variant of the Binaltech Jazz toy, the primary difference being red plastic and paint replacing white. He shipped in a 1:1 ratio with Jazz; every case had an equal number of Jazzes and Zoom-Zooms. Like all Binaltech toys, he uses painted die-cast metal for most of his car-panel parts rather than colored plastic.
