:Sky Shadow is a Predacon/Decepticon from the Unicron Trilogy continuity. Or possibly the Beast Wars. Or both. Who knows.

In the distant past, Sky Shadow was one of Megatron's most trusted lieutenants. He was sent to Earth during the legendary Beast Wars, and served as a strategist and tactical leader in the battle against the Maximals.

Eons later, the Autobot Jetfire would use his name while operating undercover as a Decepticon.

Trivia
* Sky Shadow's Hasbro-given backstory attempts to link him to the Beast Wars, despite their belonging to an entirely different continuity family. If one ignores the fact that it was likely included as an easter-egg for fans, one must assume there was a separate series of events at some point in the past of the Unicron Trilogy continuity that just also happened to be called the "Beast Wars". This not entirely without precedent, given the events of the Transformers Legends anthology story, Fire in the Dark, which also places a "Beast Wars" in the past of the Unicron Trilogy universe. (Of course, the collection is forwarded by saying that none of the stories should truly be considered as canon for the series they take place in, but the point remains.) These may or may not have born any resemblance to the Generation 1 continuity Beast Wars. Or maybe it's that damn Unicron Singularity mucking with time.
Going back to US#43, I see Nancy's just called 'His Junkion Lady.' Am I pulling consort out of my butt, or was she caleld that someplace? What does the script call her? (I still want to refer to her as 'Loosey', beign quasi junk-appropriate and something Wreck-gat actualyl calls her, but with an actual firm name attached to her in Japan, I don't think my quirky wishes hold much weight.) -Derik 02:49, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

could she be one of a survivor of Lithone?.

*Well, through-out the series (particularly in the episodes animated by AKOM), the Lithonian character models were used as generic characters. For instance, half the members of the Hive are initially drawn with the Lithonian design, yet they're all supposed to be Nebulons. That kinda makes Nancy's "Lithonian-ness" a bit questionable. --DrSpengler 00:37, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
A "Generic" is the fan-coined, unofficial term for any unnamed background Transformer that is clearly not intended to represent any previously existing and named toy/character. Generics are frequently used to fill out crowd scenes and battles, and often (though not always) employ repeated standardized designs (especially in the older material such as the Generation 1 cartoon).

It is rare that a generic gets a speaking part, but it has happened from time to time. However, if the character is given a name he/she ceases to be a generic and becomes a regular old character (see Sunstorm for an example of such an apotheosis).

Notable generics
Generation 1 cartoon
*Seekers - The comparatively low number of Decepticons in the early episodes of the cartoon led to the filling out of the ranks with numerous generics based on the existing cast, and most notably the Seekers.

*Junkions - Hordes of generic Junkions tended to appear whenever the Cartoon visited that planet.

*Paradrons - The entire population of Paradron save for Sandstorm were generics, especially their medics.

*Lithonians - Lithone designs featured many background generics of strange design, some of which were later recycled as members of The Hive.

Beast Machines
*Generation 1 character models created for the Beast Wars episode The Agenda, Part 3 were modified to represent various generic Cybertronian citizens who were infected with Megatron's transformation lock virus.

Armada
* Autobot and Decepticon forces were filled out using Generation 1 character models, creating several odd instances of classic characters getting remarkably awkward (and often randomly-colored) cameos.

* Depending on who was animating the episode, the masses of Mini-Cons combined toy-characters with either randomly-colored toy-based models or entirely-new designs... or, in one notable instance, Wheelie's character model!

*Due to the computer generated nature of the graphics, both Autobot and Decepticon forces were filled out with generics assembled from parts of other existing or unused character models. Wing Saber's original "Wing Dagger" form is one such example of a mixed-and-matched generic character model.
