The '''Duocons''', [[Battletrap]] and [[Flywheels]], are unique in that their robot modes are formed from the combination of two separate vehicles that have no other transformation.

==Fiction==
===Marvel Comics continuity===
The Duocons appeared in some UK comics, where they were more like [[Triple Changers]] rather than the divided altmodes of the toys.

===Animated continuity===

===Dreamwave continuity===
[[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] experimented to create a Transformer with more than one [[alternate mode]]. While he eventually succeeded with the [[Triple Changer]]s, an early step in the process resulted in the Duocons&mdash;a failure due to their consciousness being split between two vehicles. {{storylink|More Than Meets the Eye}}

==Toys==
The Duocons share a semi-[[autotransform]] feature. Transformation begins by lining up the tab and slot on the underside of their aerial component with the corresponding slot and tab on top of the ground component. With the two parts lined up, pushing the aircraft down causes the tabs on both parts to trip a catch in the other, releasing the springs that keep the components folded up. The aircraft essentially folds in half over the "legs" that form from part of the rear of the ground component to form the robot.

Transformation from robot to vehicles lacks any kind of automatic action. The halves of the robot are pulled apart and the nose of the aircraft is realigned with the fuselage and the leg/torso is folded down to the rear of the ground vehicle, with the moving parts being held by the spring-loaded catches.

The Duocons suffer from a complete [[brick|lack of useful articulation]].
====Generation 1====
{{charstubfiction}}

====''Another Time and Place''====

Several months after the golden age of Cybertron was reintroduced, Snarl and most of his fellow Dinobots had succumbed to the transfiguring effects of Nucleon and lost their ability to transform. When Grimlock received information that the Hydrus Four facilities had reopened, and discovered a means of reversing Nucleonic changes, the Dinobots jumped at the idea. Despite Prime's half-hearted warnings, Snarl and his teammates followed Grimlock back to Hydrus Four in the hopes of becoming Transformers once again. They were followed by the "exiled" Decepticons, however, and a battle with a huge native creature delayed the Dinobots long enough for Bludgeon's crew to get ahead of them and take over the Nucleon facility. The Dinobots were laid low by a [[Holocaust Trigger]], overloading their sensory circuits so that they were helpless before the Decepticons. Cruelly tortured, the Dinobots were still left alive so that they could witness the rebirth of Megatron, thanks to the Nucleon infusions Bludgeon was feeding him. Luckily, the Autobots had long since learned to become worried whenever the Dinobots were out of sight for too long, and had followed them to Hydrus Four. [[Roadhandler]], [[Tote]] and several [[Micromaster]]s managed to free the injured Dinobots, and an Autobot strike force brought down their Decepticon captors. The Nucleon reversion process was a success, and Snarl and his comrades were restored to fully operational Transformers. {{storylink|Another Time and Place}}

====Generation 2====
Snarl and the Dinobots were fighting alongside Grimlock and a small group of Autobot firestormers when they uncovered the [[Cybertronian Empire]] and their terraforming measures. After calling in Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots, they became part of a major offensive against not only [[Jhiaxus]] and his ilk, but everything they represented. {{storylink|War Without End!}} Despite Prime serving as overall commander, however, Snarl and his buddies were still Dinobots first and foremost. So when Grimlock wanted to take first strike action against Prime's orders, there was no question who they'd follow. Snarl and the others were captured almost immediately, though, and only escaped thanks to the timely intervention of Optimus Prime and his more loyal group of soldiers. {{storylink|Devices and Desires!}}

Snarl continued to fight alongside the Autobots with his Dinobot comrades, on both Earth and Ethos. {{storylink|The Gathering Darkness}} {{storylink|Escalation!}} Later, after the Autobots forged an alliance with the first-generation Decepticons against the Cybertronians, the Dinobots got into the spirit of things -- they teamed up with [[Headstrong]] and [[Weirdwolf]] in a metal-munching contest, to see who could chow down on the most Cybertronians.

Man, too bad [[Hun-Grrr]] and [[Skullcruncher]] weren't there to make it a real contest. {{storylink|Total War}}

====Classics====
Snarl (in his [[Action Master]] body) is part of Grimlock's crew on the ''[[Graviton (Classics)|Graviton]]. {{storylink|Games of Deception}} He has been the only totally functional Action Master that has appeared so far (though Optimus and Grimlock had previously appeared in their AM bodies in the Marvel comics, along with a cameo of [[Krok]], Snarl is the first one who has appeared with his transforming accesory, the main AM feature).

:''('''Note''': The ''[[Classics (2006)|Classics]]'' story takes place in a post-Marvel Generation 1 comics universe where [[Generation 2]] did not happen.)''

===Animated continuity===
:''Voice actor:'' [[Hal Rayle]] (US), [[Ken Shiroyama]] (Japan)
[[Image:SnarlG1.jpg|left|150px|thumb|That's it, Snarl. Take one for the team.]]

Snarl, along with [[Swoop (G1)|Swoop]], were the second set of Dinobots created by [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]]. They fought the previous Dinobot group who had been tricked by [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] into joining the Decepticons. {{Storylink|War of the Dinobots}}

Soon after a climatic battle between the Optimus Prime and Megatron, the [[Constructicon (G1)|Constructicon]]s dug their way into the ''[[Ark]]'' in an attempt to destroy [[Teletraan I]]. Upon the sounding of the alarm, Snarl was among the Dinobots who drove the intruders outside the base. However, the Constructions unleashed their secret weapon by combining to form the mighty [[Devastator (G1)|Devastator]]. Snarl was kicked by the giant, ending up hanging over the edge of a river of lava which then proceeded to burn his already damaged backside. It was not a very good day. {{Storylink|Heavy Metal War}}

[[Image:G1 Snarl TFTM.JPG|thumb|200px|Look! Me Snarl am in movie!]]
In the year 2005, Snarl is conspiciously absent during [[Battle of Autobot City|one of the most significant battles]] of the [[Great War]], but was present in the aftermath of the Decepticon attack on [[Autobot City]] before disappearing again. {{Storylink|The Transformers: The Movie}}

By 2006, Snarl had become a little more talkative. He and Sludge were left to guard Cybertron when a seemingly ressurected [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] told them all that [[Hot Rod]], [[Arcee (G1)|Arcee]], [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], and [[Kup]] were killed by the [[Quintesson]]s, only to see them arrive after the [[Autobot fleet]] left. Despite Sludge's initial concern that the two Dinobots were dead, Snarl belatedly realized that something was wrong. {{storylink|Dark Awakening}} Snarl would often spend his free time [[fishing]] in a lake/pond with the other Dinobots. Their idea of fishing was wading out and grabbing fish with their teeth. He was among the first Dinobots to realize that there was something wrong with Grimlock after he was exposed to [[Anti-electron]]s, and the Dinobots temporarily ostracized him. They let Grimlock back after he transferred his super-intelligence to [[Computron]]. {{storylink|Grimlock's New Brain}} Later, he was among the [[Primitive]]s summoned by [[Primacron]]'s [[Oracle (G1)|assistant]] to fight [[Tornedron]]. He objected to [[Headstrong|the "stupid Decepticon rhino"]]'s low opinion of Grimlock, and a brawl insued. Other than that, he didn't really contribute much to the Primitives adventures. {{storylink|Call of the Primitives}}

Snarl's growls, roars, and, uh, ''snarls'' are absolutely ''adorable''.

Millions of years ago, he made fun of Trypticon's "dumb-looking" dinosaur-esque robot mode.

Then in present day, he ended up with a dinosaur alt-mode.

Oh, bitter irony!
[[Image:G1Snarl_toy.jpg|left|thumb|150px|So, why movie director tell me Snarl to wait here again?]]

: Snarl transforms from a robotic stegosaurus dinosaur bristling with gold vacuum-metalized armor plates, to a heavily armed robot armed with a red energo-blade, a smaller laser rifle and a rocket launcher with three black missiles.

: Snarl was later reissued in the European/Australian-exclusive "[[Classics (Euro)|Classics]]" series (not to be confused with the ''[[Classics (2006)|2006 Classics]]'' line). In Japan, he and the other Dinobots were offered as mail-away items during ''[[Operation Combination]]'', at a cost of 2300 yen (his original retail price) and two robot points.

: [[Action Master]] Snarl is a non-transforming action figure that combines the animation model with toy-details and a few other new flourishes. He was sold on an individual card with his transforming partner [[Tyrannitron]]. He is compatible with any other Action Master weapon or vehicle.
**''Accessories'': "Vigor Sword", "Electron Gun"

: The original Snarl toy went through several iterations in the ''[[Generation 2]]'' line. First, he was re-released in the original silver base color without his missile launcher or missiles; the only notable difference in the toy proper is the inclusion of the "AUTOBOT" [[tampograph]] on one of his robot-mode legs.

: The toy then had its silver changed to green, and ''then'' changed again to red. The final red coloration is the most common, while the green and silver variations go for a little more on the secondary market.

{{-}}

==Trivia==
*In [[Heavy Metal War]], Snarl demonstrated the ability to shoot lasers out of his nostrils. This is awesome.

* The original Snarl toy was part of [[Takara]]'s ''[[Diaclone]]'' Dinosaur Robo series. When [[Hasbro]] imported the toy for the ''Transformers'' line, the Diaclone driver mini-figure was dropped and the robot mode's black torso was turned to a more team-matching red.

* Action Master Snarl is the only carded returning-character Autobot Action Master to have an animal/robot partner rather than a giant accessory in the US line. Whether or not his partner Tyrannitron was originally intended to go with [[Kick-Off]] --who got a giant accessory rather than an animal/robot partner like all the other new-character Action Masters-- is unknown.

* According to his toy bio, the ''[[Beast Machines]]'' era [[Dinobot (BM)|Dinobot]] [[Striker]] is rumored to be one of the original Generation 1 Dinobots. If this is true, his stegosaur mode and energy absorbing spinal plates strongly point towards his being Snarl.
After calling in Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots, they became part of a major offensive against not only [[Jhiaxus]] and his ilk, but everything they represented. {{storylink|War Without End!}} Despite Prime serving as overall commander, however, Snarl and his buddies were still Dinobots first and foremost. So when Grimlock wanted to take first strike action against Prime's orders, there was no question who they'd follow. Snarl and the others were captured almost immediately, though, and only escaped thanks to the timely intervention of Optimus Prime and his more loyal group of soldiers. {{storylink|Devices and Desires!}}

Man, too bad [[Hun-Grrr]] and [[Skullcruncher]] weren't there to make it a real contest. {{storylink|Total War}}

====Classics====
Snarl (in his [[Action Master]] body) is part of Grimlock's crew on the ''[[Graviton (Classics)|Graviton]]. {{storylink|Games of Deception}} He has been the only totally functional Action Master that has appeared so far (though Optimus and Grimlock had previously appeared as AM in the Marvel comics, along with a cameo of [[Krok]], Snarl is the first one who has appeared with his transforming accesory, the main AM feature).

:''('''Note''': The ''[[Classics (2006)|Classics]]'' story takes place in a post-Marvel Generation 1 comics universe where [[Generation 2]] did not happen.)''

===Animated continuity===
:''Voice actor:'' [[Hal Rayle]] (US), [[Ken Shiroyama]] (Japan)
[[Image:SnarlG1.jpg|left|150px|thumb|That's it, Snarl. Take one for the team.]]

Snarl, along with [[Swoop (G1)|Swoop]], were the second set of Dinobots created by [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]]. They fought the previous Dinobot group who had been tricked by [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] into joining the Decepticons. {{Storylink|War of the Dinobots}}

Soon after a climatic battle between the Optimus Prime and Megatron, the [[Constructicon (G1)|Constructicon]]s dug their way into the ''[[Ark]]'' in an attempt to destroy [[Teletraan I]]. Upon the sounding of the alarm, Snarl was among the Dinobots who drove the intruders outside the base. However, the Constructions unleashed their secret weapon by combining to form the mighty [[Devastator (G1)|Devastator]]. Snarl was kicked by the giant, ending up hanging over the edge of a river of lava which then proceeded to burn his already damaged backside. It was not a very good day. {{Storylink|Heavy Metal War}}

[[Image:G1 Snarl TFTM.JPG|thumb|200px|Look! Me Snarl am in movie!]]
In the year 2005, Snarl is conspiciously absent during [[Battle of Autobot City|one of the most significant battles]] of the [[Great War]], but was present in the aftermath of the Decepticon attack on [[Autobot City]] before disappearing again. {{Storylink|The Transformers: The Movie}}

By 2006, Snarl had become a little more talkative. He and Sludge were left to guard Cybertron when a seemingly ressurected [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] told them all that [[Hot Rod]], [[Arcee (G1)|Arcee]], [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], and [[Kup]] were killed by the [[Quintesson]]s, only to see them arrive after the [[Autobot fleet]] left. Despite Sludge's initial concern that the two Dinobots were dead, Snarl belatedly realized that something was wrong. {{storylink|Dark Awakening}} Snarl would often spend his free time [[fishing]] in a lake/pond with the other Dinobots. Their idea of fishing was wading out and grabbing fish with their teeth. He was among the first Dinobots to realize that there was something wrong with Grimlock after he was exposed to [[Anti-electron]]s, and the Dinobots temporarily ostracized him. They let Grimlock back after he transferred his super-intelligence to [[Computron]]. {{storylink|Grimlock's New Brain}} Later, he was among the [[Primitive]]s summoned by [[Primacron]]'s [[Oracle (G1)|assistant]] to fight [[Tornedron]]. He objected to [[Headstrong|the "stupid Decepticon rhino"]]'s low opinion of Grimlock, and a brawl insued. Other than that, he didn't really contribute much to the Primitives adventures. {{storylink|Call of the Primitives}}

==Toys==
===Generation 1===
*'''Snarl''' (Dinobot, 1985/1986/1991/1992)
**''Japanese ID number'': '''29'''
**''Accessories'': "Energo Sword", "Electron Cannon", "Rocket Pod", 3 missiles

{{-}}

*'''Snarl''' (Action Master, 1990)
**''Accessories'': "Tyrannitron" partner, "Intensity Beam"

[[Image:G1_ActionMaster_Snarl_toy.jpg|thumb|right|200px|Him follow me Snarl home. Can me keep him?]]

: [[Action Master]] Snarl is a non-transforming action figure that combines the animation model with toy-details and a few other new flourishes. He was sold on an individual card with his transforming partner [[Tyrannitron]]. He is compatible with any other Action Master weapon or vehicle.

{{-}}

===Generation 2===
*'''Snarl''' (Dinobot, 1993)
**''Accessories'': "Vigor Sword", "Electron Gun"

: The original Snarl toy went through several iterations in the ''[[Generation 2]]'' line. First, he was re-released in the original silver base color without his missile launcher or missiles; the only notable difference in the toy proper is the inclusion of the "AUTOBOT" [[tampograph]] on one of his robot-mode legs.

: The toy then had its silver changed to green, and ''then'' changed again to red. The final red coloration is the most common, while the green and silver variations go for a little more on the secondary market.

{{-}}

==Trivia==

* Nemesis Prime is the evil, corrupted [[Dead Universe]] version of [[Nova Prime]] in the [[IDW continuity]].

64.76.140.21: /* Capes */

One way that non-Transformer species seem to have influenced [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertronian]] culture is the relatively rare occurrence of [[Transformer]]s wearing clothing.

==Capes==
[[Image:BlasterG2.jpg|right|250px|thumb|[[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus]] and [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]]: Slaves to Fashion]]
From time to time, some high ranked Cybertronians tend to wear capes. Presumably they are a symbol of office, as only generals, commanders, and other such leaders have been seen sporting them. Exactly what material these capes are made from is unknown, but one presumes that Earth-style fabrics are likely extremely rare on Cybertron (which could make the capes even ''more'' special, considering).

* [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] wore a cape, large shoulder pads, and a crown at his coronation as Decepticon leader. The crown alone survived [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]]'s blast (only to be crushed under his feet).

* The [[Nine Great Demon Generals]] mostly wore capes, except Trypticon, who wore a Batman-like cowl in the Zone Story Pages.

* [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] wore capes while serving as the leaders of the [[Cybertron Alliance]]. Prime's was purple (the Decepticon color), while Megatron's was red (the Autobot color). Whether this was a symbol of high office, or just a desire to look pretty, is unknown.

* ''[[Armada]]'' [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]] wore a large, body-obscuring cloak when he first arrived on [[Earth]].

*[[Great Convoy]] '''is''' a cape. Seriously.

*Some Transformers have capes that are actually [[kibble|part of their altmode]] (e.g. [[Megatron (BW|Megatron]] during [[Beast Machines]] season 1, [[Vector Prime]] in [[Transformers Cybertron]], etc).

==Trenchcoats==
Quite a few characters have been depicted wearing trenchcoats, mostly when involved in detective work or similarly secretive activity.
* [[Nightbeat (G1)|Nightbeat]] has been drawn quite a few times wearing a trenchcoat and fedora, due to their connection with detective fiction.
* The [[Air Strike Patrol|Micromaster Air Strike Patrol]] wore trenchcoats and fedoras while trying to pass as human professional wrestlers. Interestingly enough, these coats somehow obscured large physical protrusions on their bodies (jet intakes, wings, etc.).{{storylink|The Interplanetary Wrestling Championship!}}

[[Image:LiveActionJazz-Skywarp01.jpg|right|thumb|150px|Robot dancing!?]]
==??????==
Sometimes, people on [[Earth]] wear clothing to look like [[Ramjet (G1)|various Transformers]]. Sometimes this is sad, sometimes this is hot.

==Others==
[[Image:windcharger_flash.jpg|left|thumb|100px|Hiii! there is a naked bot under that coat]]
* In an early plan to trap the Decepticons, the Autobots had to run around in lab coats. It was very silly. {{storylink|More Than Meets the Eye, Part 3}}
* [[Six-Speed]]'s curiosity about human clothing led him to examine the closets of his [[human]] friends [[Bud Hansen|Bud]] and [[Coby Hansen|Coby]]. However, his attempt to dress like a human basically amounted to putting random articles of clothing on his limbs, looking more ridiculous than clothing-wearing- Transformers normally do. Which is kinda amazing.
* The magic of [[Christmas]] once made Optimus Prime dress up in a festive outfit. Obviously the big guy is a little too open to suggestion.
* The [[Jointron]] brothers have been shown wearing ponchos and sombreros, as well as using mariachi-style guitars and maracas. This is both hilarious ''and'' racist.
*The [[Space Mini-Con Team]] and <i>[[Armada]]</i> [[Sureshock|Grindor]] have disguised themselves as humans using large heavy jackets, coats, baseball caps, hats, sunglasses, and other items of clothing to try to blend in with other people in robot mode.
*Most of the [[Pretenders]] had clothing molded onto their Pretender shells. But at this clothing was just for pretend - it's actually part of the Transformer's shell (which itself might be considered a form of clothing).
[[Image:GrimlockManga.jpg|right|200px|thumb|Me Grimlock say it fun to learn! (Because knowledge is power!)]]
*[[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]] is a king of fashion, at times wearing a crown, a bandana, and... err...
*The [[Maximal Elder]]s wear robes. They have their reasons.
*The [[exo-structure]]s of the members of [[Council of Ancients]] resemble robes. They also have their reasons.

{{disambig3|Smokescreen}}

:''Smokescreen is a [[Decepticon]] from the [[Generation 2]] portion of the [[Generation 1]] [[continuity family]].''

'''Smokescreen''' is paired up with the much larger Decepticon [[Dreadwing (G2)|Dreadwing]], forming a deadly duo.

==Fiction==
===Marvel comics continuity===
Smokescreen was connected to Darkwing's vehicle form as they attacked the Rheanium facility. Following this attack, he pointed Megatron towards [[Skullgrin]]'s crashing shuttle. He was never referred to by name, so it's possible he could've been a remodeled [[Dreadwind (G1)|Dreadwind]] to go with Darkwing's new form.

===Japanese ''Generation 2'' story pages===

Little is known about Smokescreen's past or origins, only that he can be very manipulative and has a bizarre hatred of both Autobots ''and'' Decepticons.

When Smokescreen met the pacifist Dreadwing, he tricked the hulking brute into believing that the only way to end the war between the Autobots and Decepticons was to ''destroy'' the Autobots and the Decepticons. Smokescreen and Dreadwing initially sided with no one but eventually joined the forces of [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]].

During the final assault on the Autobots, the Decepticons were soundly defeated and driven into deep space.

===Japanese ''Generation 2'' mini-comics===

During a decisive battle between [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] and [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], Megatron managed to gain the upper hand after a surprise attack by [[Hooligan]] crippled Prime's weaponry. Defenseless, Megatron ordered an aerial assault from Dreadwing and Smokescreen. The pair swooped down and bombarded Optimus Prime with missiles, nearly killing him. Their enemy virtually dead, they left the killing blow to Megatron.

==Toys==
===Generation 2===
*'''Dreadwing''' (Decepticon, 1994)
:''Japanese ID number'': '''TRF-10'''

: Available only with his larger partner Dreadwing, Smokescreen transforms into a fighter jet of undetermined (probably made-up) model. He has two side-mounted spring-loaded rocket launchers that become hand-weapons in robot mode. He can combine with Dreadwing's vehicle mode to form the large stealth bomber jet.

: This mold was also used to make ''[[Beast Wars II]]'' [[Starscream (BWII)|Starscream]], [[Smokejumper]] and [[Smokesniper]]. It was going to be used again in ''Generation 2'' as a new form of the [[Starscream (G1)|original Starscream]], but that toy was ultimately canceled.

: There is also a misconception that this mold was used to make Energon Starscream. However, this is all bogus lies created by [[Jetfire (G1)|heathen scientists]] who thought it would be funny. While the transformation is nigh-identical, they are noticably different in proportion and build. If it were a retool or remold, it would take a HELL of a lot of work.

==Trivia==
*Smokescreen's arms are misassembled, as his thumbs end up on the outside of his fists in robot mode.
A '''personal canon''' (or a more limited '''personal continuity''') is one fan's interpretation of the Transformers mythos. This can range from picking and choosing stories and characters that he or she favors and assembling them as he or she likes, to discarding one or two discerned distasteful properties from an otherwise accepted continuity.

This is often used in fan-fiction, where an author will use an established continuity ''up until a certain point'', from which he or she would start telling their own stories. Motivations for these stories can range from a desire to 'retcon' another story that the author dislikes, or to curiously pursue a 'what if' continuity based on a key event happening in some different way.

For example, one's personal canon could be:
* The first two seasons of the ''Generation 1'' animated series, but not including the movie or subsequent seasons.
* The [[Marvel Comics]] continuity, but without accompanying material from [[Marvel Comics UK]].
* The American [[Beast Wars]] continuity, but without the accompanying series [[Beast Wars II]] and [[Beast Wars Neo]].
* Renaming toys after pre-existing characters, such as considering ''Energon'' [[Shockblast (Energon)|Shockblast]] to be ''Generation 1'' [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]].
* Disregarding one animated-series origin of the [[Constructicon]]s for another.
* Merging elements of the [[Dreamwave]] comics version of Armada with the animated cartoon's.
* Accepting Marvel's [[Generation 2]] comics as "true" except for the death of a specific character (for example, [[Nightbeat (G1)|Nightbeat]]).
* Accepting everything in every known Transformers continuity having happened as a single jumbled entity, ignoring the inconsistencies as "gray areas" that one mustn't be concerned with. (This, coincidentally, appears to be Takara's personal canon.)
*Not considering the [[Cybertron (franchise)|Cybertron]] series to be in the same continuity as the [[Armada]] and [[Energon (franchise)|Energon]] series.
*Considering one's own (or somebody else's) fan fiction as a part of continuity.

And so on. There are, of course, infinite possibilities.
''The Autobot [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]] served with Skywarp while infiltrating the Decepticons and became close friends with him, as well as being impressed by his professionalism. He greatly regreted that that his return to the Autobot fold would put them on opposing sides.<ref>Skywarp's [[More than Meets the Eye]] profile</ref>
During the Autobot/Decepticon war, Skywarp participated in the assault on a hidden Autobot bunker led by [[Scorponok (Energon)|Scorponok]], [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron's]] field commander. {{Storylink|No Exit}}
Scavenger and [[Smokescreen (Armada)|Smokescreen]] had been covertly observing a Decepticon construction project in [[Death Valley]] for months. Skywarp, [[Sideways (UT)|Sideways]] and [[Wheeljack (Armada)|Wheeljack]] were among the Decepticons guarding the construction of Megatron's [[Solar Scalpel]]. The rocket launched without trouble because the region's heavy interference prevented Scavenger from contacting [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime]] for orders. {{Storylink|Dreamwave Armada issue 12}}
Skywarp survived [[Unicron]]'s assault on Cybertron, and celebrated along his teammate [[Demolishor (Armada)|Demolishor]] and the Autobot [[Side Swipe (Armada)|Side Swipe]]. {{Storylink|The End}}

: Available as an exclusive giveaway at Hasbro's booth for the San Diego Comicon 2005, the first ''Cybertron'' Skywarp toy is a redeco of ''Legends of Cybertron'' Starscream in a traditional black/purple/silver Skywarp colourscheme. He has a flip-out energon blade in his right arm, but as the original toy was a small-scale representation of Supreme Starscream, he features a flip-out null ray cannon in his left arm instead of another blade.

: The mainline ''Cybertron'' Skywarp toy is a redeco of ''Cybertron'' [[Thundercracker (Armada)|Thundercracker]]. Unusually for a ''Unicron Trilogy'' Skywarp, his colors are an extensive rearrangement of Skywarp's traditional scheme, with his primary color being purple, with white and red for detailing. He has no black plastic or paint detailing, instead he has dark gray for his robot mode parts.

: Skywarp retains Thundercracker's gimmick, where inserting his [[Cyber Planet Key]] into the access slot at the rear of the jet mode or his left arm opens up a panel to reveal a spring-loaded projectile launcher. He comes with a silver-bordered Earth Cyber Planet Key with the code '''d02r''' tampographed onto the back.
Teleportation is a dangerous tool in the hands of a capable adversary. Thankfully for the [[Autobot]]s, '''Skywarp''' is the Decepticon who possesses that ability. Skywarp's not so bright, so without supervision he's worthless as a warrior. He mostly uses his teleportation power for immature pranks on both friend and foe. He takes a charmingly puerile angle at thuggery, so his pranks are well-received amongst his Decepticon peers (excepting the victim, of course).
[[Image:Skywarpthundercrackerintroduction.jpg|left|thumb|200px|You can tell Skywarp apart from Thundercracker in the Marvel Comics by, uh.... let us get back to you on that.]]
Skywarp was one of [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron's]] troops who attacked the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] during its mission to clear a path for [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] through an asteroid field. He was deactivated when it crashed on [[Earth]], and he lay dormant for four million years. When he and his fellow Decepticons awoke, Skywarp was given a new [[altmode]], that of an Earth jet. {{storylink|The Transformers (comic issue)}} He aided the Decepticons in their building of their new base constructed of parts from [[Harrison Nuclear Power Plant]] and joined in their attack on [[Sparkplug Witwicky]]'s auto repair shop. After the successful abduction of Sparkplug Witwicky, Skywarp, [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]], and [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] defended their base from [[Autobot]]s, though [[Gears]] and [[Spider-Man]] were able to sneak through and rescue Sparkplug. {{storylink|Prisoner of War!}}

''When Starscream fired upon his teammate [[Ravage]] for eavesdropping on his plot to overthrow Megatron, Skywarp and the other Decepticons sought deadly revenge on the Decepticon Air Commander. {{storylink|The Enemy Within!, part 2}} Though Starscream escaped, the Decepticons soon regrouped to attack the Ark, but their battle was ended prematurely when [[Auntie]], the Ark's computer system, magnetized the walls, immobilizing both factions. {{storylink|Raiders of the Lost Ark}} Skywarp also traveled with the Decepticons to the [[United Kingdom]], where he and his teammates attempted to learn about a mysterious Autobot rescue ship buried under a castle. An initial attack on the Autobots left Skywarp seriously wounded by a bomb from [[Bluestreak]]. {{storylink|Man of Iron: Part 3}}

Though Sparkplug Witwicky was able to devise a way for the Decepticons to convert Earth fuel into a usable substance, he also poisoned the result, so Skywarp and his fellow Decepticons were immobilized at the climax of their would-be final battle with the Autobots. {{storylink|The Last Stand}} The Decepticon [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] took command of the Decepticons and the Ark shortly thereafter, and nursed Skywarp and his comrades back to full health. Skywarp may have helped Shockwave attempt to capture and brainwash [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] into a Decepticon, or it may have been Thundercracker without red stripes. It's hard to tell. {{storylink|Plight of the Bumblebee!}}
[[Image:Skywarpgoofyteleportation.jpg|right|thumb|250px|Try a summersault! (Left on C-Stick and Down).]]
He served the Decepticon cause up until he was deactivated while battling [[Omega Supreme (G1)|Omega Supreme]] and placed in prison stasis at Autobot headquarters.

''When [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] traveled back from the year 2006 to build a super weapon to destroy [[Unicron]], Skywarp was a key player in the defeat of the mad Decepticon. Sorta.''

''The Autobots took Skywarp out of stasis, painted him to look like [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] and sent him stumbling toward Galvatron with a tape-recorder of Starscream's voice on his back. Galvatron, still sore about Starscream tossing him out of [[Astrotrain]] during his Megatron days, shot and presumably killed Skywarp. Galvatron then realized that if he killed Starscream in the past then there's no way he could have killed Starscream in the future. Believing he was in an alternate past and thus nothing he did there would effect his personal timeline, Galvatron hurried back to his proper time. Way to take one for the team, Skywarp. {{storylink|Target 2006}}''

During a massive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth's moon, Skywarp and the other Decepticons held in stasis aboard the Ark were liberated by the [[Constructicon]]s and subsequently brought back on-line. {{storylink|Totalled!}} During the first Decepticon Civil War, Skywarp battled with [[Ratbat]]'s Decepticons against [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]]'s Decepticons. Skywarp surprised [[Bugly]] with his teleportation powers and blasted him, temporarily stunning him. However, Bugly successfully returned fire, striking where he guessed Skywarp would next teleport. {{storylink|Cold War!}} Skywarp was repaired in time to face an [[Underbase]]-powered Starscream in [[Tokyo]], but both he and Thundercracker were destroyed by their former flying partner. {{storylink|Dark Star!}}

===Generation 2===
The Autobots and the Decepticons had just agreed to make an alliance against the [[Cybertronian Empire]], but the Decepticons disagreed about aiding other planets' people. When the Autobots went alone to fight the Cybertronians, they almost were defeated, until Skywarp (yes, this article is about him) suddenly appeared, followed by the rest of the Decepticon army, to aid the Autobots.

Skywarp was one of the elite Decepticons that accompanied Megatron in infiltrating the ''[[Ark]]'' four million years ago. After crash-landing on Earth, the Decepticons and [[Autobots]] laid dormant for four million years, until volcanic activity stirred them into consciousness. Skywarp was the first of the Ark's Transformers to be reformatted and awakened by [[Teletraan-1]]. Now an F-15 fighter jet, Skywarp next dragged [[Megatron]]'s body into the reformatting rays of the Ark's computer.

Since the Decepticons were so badly short-staffed during their early days on Earth, Skywarp was usually involved in whatever crazy plot for universal domination Megatron was hatching. This included attacks on an off-shore oil rig, [[Sherman Dam]] and the [[Ruby Crystal Mines of Burma|ruby crystal mines of Burma]]. When the Decepticons escaped the Burma operation with a cache of energon cubes, Skywarp requested permission from Megatron to teleport in order to scare off Autobot pursuers. Teleporting behind the strangely-airborne duo of [[Ironhide]] and [[Bluestreak]], Skywarp pasted the ornery old Autobot with a heat-seeking missile, knocking him out of the sky that he probably shouldn't have been able to fly around in.

Skywarp continued to serve the Decepticons for many more years, never really doing anything notable. He was first to fall victim to an invention developed by [[Wheeljack]] that allowed Teletraan-1 to briefly take control of his body. [[Chip Chase]], a human ally of the Autobots, planted the device on Skywarp's ankle in the thick of battle. Skywarp's teleportation power did come in use when he was needed to sneak up on the Autobots (who were all in vehicle mode) and zap them with the [[transfixatron]].

In 2005, Skywarp was badly injured during the battle of [[Autobot City]]. Though he escaped with the rest of his comrades aboard [[Astrotrain (G1)|Astrotrain]], he was tossed out into space with other badly damaged Decepticons part way to [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] so that the rest would be able to make it home. Skywarp's body was gathered by [[Unicron]] and, among others, used to make [[Galvatron]]'s new warriors. Skywarp arguably became either [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] or the identical lone [[Armada (G1)|"Armada"]] warrior who was never seen again.

[[Image:Wreckersskywarpcyclonus.jpg|thumb|left|175px|Looks like [[Cyclonus (G1)#Who is Cyclonus?|Cyclonus was Bombshell]]. Neener neener.]]

After the Decepticons lost the Great War, and [[Maximal]]s and [[Predacon]]s claimed [[Cybertron (planet)|the planet]], [[Megatron (BW)|another Megatron]] subjugated nearly every Transformer alive with a transformation-lock virus and an army of [[Vehicon]]s. Skywarp was one of the handful of Transformers who had slipped through Megatron's fingers, and eventually he and [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] joined up with the legendary strike team, the [[Wreckers]]. Given a mission by the [[Vector Sigma|Oracle]], the Wreckers fought through an army of Vehicons to steal an Autobot shuttle in order to get off-planet. {{storylink|Departure}}

''(Note: Though no reason is stated in-story as to how or why or when Skywarp got this new body between the Great War and the [[Beast Era]], ''Wreckers'' plotter [[Glen Hallit]] noted that Skywarp's body was based on a mass-production bodytype of its day, similar to ''Generation 1''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s [[Seeker]]s.)''

Skywarp was one of several Decepticon invaders onboard the ''[[Ark]]'' when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while the Autobot ship was clearing an asteroid in the path of Cybertron.

In 2002, he was one of several Transformers who survived the disasterous launch of the sabotaged ''Ark II'', and was later captured and reprogrammed by arms dealer [[Lazarus|Adam 'Lazarus' Rook]], who intended to rent out the services of the enslaved robots to various terrorist groups. After Megatron reactivated himself, he freed his Decepticon subordinates in order to put forward his plans to infect Earth with a metallic virus of doom. To pass the time while this happened, Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp busied themselves by tearing apart the Autobot Minicar team. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 3}}

Skywarp later participated in Megatron's attack on San Francisco, where he followed Starscream's orders to maintain formation and drop cluster bombs on the Autobot giant [[Superion (G1)|Superion]], forcing the [[Aerialbot]]s to split into their seperatate component robots. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 4}}

Skywarp presumably stood watch over the defeated Autobots while Megatron tried to persuade [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] to help the Decepticons conquer Earth. After some human firefighters distracted the Decepticons long enough for Optimus Prime to free the Autobots, Skywarp was presumably beaten up and escaped when Superion sacrificed himself to stop a nuclear missile launched by rogue US General [[Robert Hallo]].

'''Note:''' ''Skywarp appeared sporadically in this mini-series, but was not shown again after issue 4, for whatever reason. Naturally he reappears in the subsequent mini-series and on-going the Generation 1 title.'' {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 6}}

===IDW comics continuity===

Skywarp is part of a Decepticon infiltration unit that has operated covertly on Earth for at least four years, working to destabilize Earth's governing organizations and create global anarchy.<ref>[[Infiltration, Part 3]]</ref> His alternate form is an [[wikipedia:F-22 Raptor|F-22 Raptor]] fighter jet.

[[Starscream_(G1)|Starscream]] assigned him and [[Blitzwing]] to destroy all traces of the [[Nebraska]] operation, but, after demolishing the abandoned Nebraska command bunker, he is severely damaged by Megatron who, unfortunately for Skywarp had been inside at the time. <ref>[[Infiltration, Part 5]]</ref> This Megatron is apparently not one to hold grudges and he soon has Skywarp repaired and functioning again, under the understanding that there will be no further second chances.<ref>[[Escalation, Part 1]]</ref>

It would appear that Skywarp has the ability to teleport others in addition to himself in this continuity, as he and Astrotrain appear to both fly out of one of his warps during a battle.
Many parts need to be removed completely for transformation from robot to jet and back, which nowadays is considered a major drawback of the toy. It is rare to find it complete, as neither mode can hold all the pieces required. There are a few minor mold variations of this toy (common for the first two years of ''Transformers'', really), the most immediately noticeable being that early versions did not have visible "clip-tabs" on the inner face of the gauntlets.
: In 2001, Skywarp was given a short-run reissue by Takara as a convention-[[exclusive]] item, bundled together with Thundercracker as "[[Collector's Edition]]" Set C. The toy would later be more extensively released in 2003 as part of [[Hasbro]]'s [[Commemorative Series]] series IV, though due to US [[for safety reasons|toy-safety regulations]], his missiles were made extra-long.
: ''Japanese ID number:'' '''GTF X-1'''

: [[Smallest Transforming Transformers|Smallest Transformers]] Skywarp was a very small-scale simplification of the original G1 Seeker toy, retaining most of its functionality and accessories, except for his long null-rays. Skywarp was one of two [[chase figure]]s from the first wave of the line.

: This mold was redecoed from Starscream, then re-redecoed into Thundercracker, and finally retooled to make Thrust.

===Robot Masters===
: ''[[Robot Masters]]'' Skywarp is a redeco of [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] from the same series, a smaller yet more advanced version of the original toy, adding more articulation and reducing the amount of [[part-forming]] required. He was available only in a two-pack with Thundercracker, which also came with a Decepticon sigil pin and chromed missile pods. This set was the very last product released in the ''Robot Masters'' line, and wasn't even strictly sold in a box from that series; instead, it used an [[e-Hobby]] ''Generation 1'' reissue box, with a small ''Robot Masters'' sticker in the corner tab noting its origin from the front.
He comes with a pair of spring-loaded missile launchers that can be mounted on his biceps or used as hand-held weapons in robot mode and attach under his wings in vehicle mode. As with most ''Classics'' toys, he also features a heat-sensitive [[rubsign]].

: He was only available as part of a Target stores [[exclusive]] two-pack with [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]]. The set's price was $19.99, despite including both a Voyager-class and Deluxe-class mold in it, which for regular separate releases would be approximately $30 worth of toys.
===Masterpiece===
: ''[[Masterpiece]]'' Skywarp was announced in April 2007, to be released in Japan in September of the same year. A redeco of the Masterpiece Starscream mold in black, gray, silver, and purple, though the purple and silver will be more minimal than usual. He will be able to switch between a minimally retooled stoic face and a new snarly face, retooled from Starscream's previous smirk.
===Heroes of Cybertron===
:The ''Heroes of Cybertron'' PVC figurine line is an adaptation by Hasbro of Takara's own ''Super Collection Figure'' line. The main differences between the two lines is that Hasbro cast Autobot and Decepticon figures in clear blue or clear red PVC respectively, then completely painted the figurines. This allowed the eyes to 'glow' when placed in front of the light source.

* '''Skywarp'' (2002)
: Recolor of the Japanese SCF Skywarp figure. Non-transforming, true to the animation model. Distinctive from the Japanese release with its glossy paint, "light-up" eyes, and slightly different paint details. The Japanese version was a ''Lucky Draw'' figure limited to 200 pieces, it was one of the two prizes, the other being a mostly clear reissue Starscream (not to be confused with Ghost Starscream reissue) from the original run of the ''Transformers: Generations'' book.

* '''Skywarp''' (2003)

: Above, but part of a six-pack of figures which also included Starscream, Thundercracker, and three Clones from the [[OTFCC 2003]] convention set. It featured a more metallic paint job from the normal release and slightly different paint details.

===Legends of Cybertron===

* '''Skywarp''' (2004)

: A recolor of Mega ''Super Figure Collection'' G1 Starscream (minus the extra coronation accessories, open palm fists, and the hand weilding Megatron in gun mode), Skywarp was to be among the first of fan club exclusives offered by ''OTFCC'' as well as the first in their Legends of Cybertron line. The figure was delayed, and never saw a full release due to ''3H Enterprises'' loosing the license to run the offical Transformers fan club. At least a couple sample versions were produced.

===Robot Heroes===

* '''Skywarp''' (2006)

: Skywarp is one of the five exculsive figures in Wal-Mart's "Decepticon Sneak Attack" set. He's a black and purple redeco of Starscream, yes. His left hand's for pushing you down stairs, his right fist's for pumping the air in victory. Sweet, sweet stair-based victory.

==Trivia==
[[Image:LiveActionJazz-Skywarp01.jpg|right|thumb|200px|I bet he spiked the punch.]]

* A commercial for Transformers reflective iron-on patches advertised the "Prizes in Disguise" competition. When the iron-on patch was used, it was possible to instead find an instant win ticket for a Transformers voice changer (of the [[Enemy]] variety) - or to have a party with "life size" Transformers! Among the "life size" Transformers shown were [[Jazz]] and Skywarp. In all likeliness, you did not party with them.

[[Image:Skywarpatron.jpg|left|thumb|150px|Skywarp really DID need close supervision.]]

* In a possible fit of madness, a triple changer was proposed that would switch between Skywarp (possibly mistaken for Starscream), [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], and Skywarp's jet mode.

* Character bios written by unknown persons for the Austrailian (Madman) DVD release of [[Transformers: The Movie]] definitely claim that Skywarp became Cyclonus. Basically nobody considers that weighty "evidence".
Skywarp was one of [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron's]] troops who attacked the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] during its mission to clear a path for [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] through an asteroid field. He was deactivated when it crashed on [[Earth]], and he lay dormant for four million years. When he and his fellow Decepticons awoke, Skywarp was given a new [[altmode]], that of an Earth jet. {{storylink|The Transformers (comic issue)}} He aided the Decepticons in their building of their new base constructed of parts from [[Harrison Nuclear Power Plant]] and joined in their attack on [[Sparkplug Witwicky]]'s auto repair shop. After the successful abduction of Sparkplug Witwicky, Skywarp, [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]], and [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] defended their base from [[Autobot]]s, though [[Gears]] and [[Spider-Man]] were able to sneak through and rescue Sparkplug. {{storylink|Prisoner of War!}}

''When Starscream fired upon his teammate [[Ravage]] for eavesdropping on his plot to overthrow Megatron, Skywarp and the other Decepticons sought deadly revenge on the Decepticon Air Commander. {{storylink|The Enemy Within!, part 2}} Though Starscream escaped, the Decepticons soon regrouped to attack the Ark, but their battle was ended prematurely when [[Auntie]], the Ark's computer system, magnetized the walls, immobilizing both factions. {{storylink|Raiders of the Lost Ark}} Skywarp also traveled with the Decepticons to the [[United Kingdom]], where he and his teammates attempted to learn about a mysterious Autobot rescue ship buried under a castle. An initial attack on the Autobots left Skywarp seriously wounded by a bomb from [[Bluestreak]]. {{storylink|Man of Iron: Part 3}}

Though Sparkplug Witwicky was able to devise a way for the Decepticons to convert Earth fuel into a usable substance, he also poisoned the result, so Skywarp and his fellow Decepticons were immobilized at the climax of their would-be final battle with the Autobots. {{storylink|The Last Stand}} The Decepticon [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] took command of the Decepticons and the Ark shortly thereafter, and nursed Skywarp and his comrades back to full health. Skywarp may have helped Shockwave attempt to capture and brainwash [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] into a Decepticon, or it may have been Thundercracker without red stripes. It's hard to tell. {{storylink|Plight of the Bumblebee!}}

During a massive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth's moon, Skywarp and the other Decepticons held in stasis aboard the Ark were liberated by the [[Constructicon]]s and subsequently brought back on-line. {{storylink|Totalled!}} During the first Decepticon Civil War, Skywarp battled with [[Ratbat]]'s Decepticons against [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]]'s Decepticons. Skywarp surprised [[Bugly]] with his teleportation powers and blasted him, temporarily stunning him. However, Bugly successfully returned fire, striking where he guessed Skywarp would next teleport. {{storylink|Cold War!}} Skywarp was repaired in time to face an [[Underbase]]-powered Starscream in [[Tokyo]], but both he and Thundercracker were destroyed by their former flying partner. {{storylink|Dark Star!}}

==Generation 2==

After the Decepticons lost the Great War, and [[Maximal]]s and [[Predacon]]s claimed [[Cybertron (planet)|the planet]], [[Megatron (BW)|another Megatron]] subjugated nearly every Transformer alive with a transformation-lock virus and an army of [[Vehicon]]s. Skywarp was one of the handful of Transformers who had slipped through Megatron's fingers, and eventually he and [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] joined up with the legendary strike team, the [[Wreckers]]. Given a mission by the [[Vector Sigma|Oracle]], the Wreckers fought through an army of Vehicons to steal an Autobot shuttle in order to get off-planet. {{storylink|Departure}}

In 2002, he was one of several Transformers who survived the disasterous launch of the sabotaged ''Ark II'', and was later captured and reprogrammed by arms dealer [[Lazarus|Adam 'Lazarus' Rook]], who intended to rent out the services of the enslaved robots to various terrorist groups. After Megatron reactivated himself, he freed his Decepticon subordinates in order to put forward his plans to infect Earth with a metallic virus of doom. To pass the time while this happened, Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp busied themselves by tearing apart the Autobot Minicar team. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 3}}

Skywarp later participated in Megatron's attack on San Francisco, where he followed Starscream's orders to maintain formation and drop cluster bombs on the Autobot giant [[Superion (G1)|Superion]], forcing the [[Aerialbot]]s to split into their seperatate component robots. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 4}}

'''Note:''' ''Skywarp appeared sporadically in this mini-series, but was not shown again after issue 4, for whatever reason.

==Toys==
===Generation 1===
* '''Skywarp''' (Decepticon Jet, 1984/1985/2001/2003)
: ''Japanese ID number:'' '''23'''

[[Image:Redeco.jpg|left|thumb|Skywarp is the redeco on the left. He's mostly black... not that this was a cheap or lazy decision.]]

: ''(Note: For some reason, the stats on Skywarp's, Starscream's and Thundercracker's tech specs were switched around. Skywarp was given Starscream's numbers, which explains his high intelligence and rank.)''

: The only 1984 [[Seeker]] with a deco not used previously in [[Takara]]'s ''[[Diaclone]]'' line, Skywarp transforms into an [[wikipedia:F-15 Eagle|F-15 Eagle]] fighter jet, sharing his mold with his teammates [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] and [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]].

: This mold was [[redeco]]ed into [[Sunstorm (G1)|Sunstorm]] and retooled to make [[Dirge (G1)|Dirge]], [[Ramjet (G1)|Ramjet]], and [[Thrust (G1)|Thrust]].

{{-}}

===Machine Wars===
* '''Skywarp''' (Basic, 1997)
[[Image:MWSkywarp.jpg|right|thumb|150px|After his near-fatal encounter with the Invert Colors function.]]

: Sharing a mold once again with Thundercracker, Skywarp transforms into a white [[wikipedia:Rafale|Dassault Rafale]] fighter jet with spring-loaded one-step transformation from jet to robot. The two halves of his rifle store in his lower legs. Like all ''Machine Wars'' toys, Skywarp was an [[exclusive]] to Kay-Bee stores and related stores like Toy Liquidators.

: This mold is also used by ''[[Beast Wars II]]'' [[Dirge (BWII)|Dirge]], ''[[Robots in Disguise]]'' [[Skyfire (RID)|Skyfire]], and ''[[Robot Masters]]'' [[Wing Stun]]''.

===Universe===
* '''Skywarp''' (Deluxe, 2003)
[[Image:UniverseSkywarp_toy.jpg|left|thumb|150px|Like [[Mirage (BM)|Mirage]] except he can fly.]]

:''[[Universe]]'' Skywarp is a redeco of ''[[Beast Machines]]'' [[Jetstorm (BM)|Jetstorm]] in his G1 colors. He transforms into a Cybertronic fighter jet, armed with two projectile launchers that can fire orange energon bolts.

: His [[Spark]] crystal has a Decepticon sigil tampographed on top of it.

{{-}}
===Smallest Transformers===
* '''Skywarp''' (2003)

===Robot Masters===
* '''Skywarp & Thundercracker''' (Multi-pack, 2005)
[[Image:RMSkywarp_toy.jpg|left|thumb|150px|Now with the proper articulation for down-stair-pushing.]]

{{-}}

===Classics===
* '''Ultra Magnus vs Skywarp: Battle For Autobot City''' (Multi-pack, 2006)
[[Image:Classics_Skywarp_toy.jpg|right|thumb|250px|Skywarp only wears the finest Decepticon fingerless-gloves.]]

: ''[[Classics_(2006)|Classics]]'' Skywarp is a redeco of the ''Classics'' Starscream mold, transforming into an [[wikipedia:F-15 Eagle|F-15 Eagle]] fighter jet, though with a canopy like that of an [[wikipedia:F-14 Tomcat|F-14 Tomcat]].

===Masterpiece===
* '''MP-06 Masterpiece Skywarp''' (2007)
{{-}}

===Attacktix===
*'''Skywarp'''

==Merchandise==
===Heroes of Cybertron===

* '''Skywarp'' (2002)

* '''Skywarp''' (2003)

: Above, but part of a six-pack of figures which also included Starscream, Thundercracker, and three Clones from the [[OTFCC 2003]] convention set. It featured a more metallic paint job from the normal release and slightly different paint details.

===Legends of Cybertron===

* '''Skywarp''' (2004)

===Robot Heroes===

* '''Skywarp''' (2006)

==Trivia==

:''Snake-Eyes is a [[human]] member of [[G.I. Joe]] in the [[Generation 1]] [[continuity family]].''

'''Snake-Eyes''' is a ninja. As such, he has been known to flip out and kill people. He is also a mammal. It is rumored he plays guitar in his free time. He doesn't talk much and it's not clear what his face looks like under his mask, but at least one woman thinks he's pretty darn cool.

''Statistically, all ninjas are turtles.''
==Fiction==
===Marvel Comics continuity===
He is the center of the universe. Seriously, the entire G.I. Joe continuity revolves around him and how awesome he is. However, he has very little interaction with Transformers (while COBRA re-made [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] as a tank, Snake-Eyes was busy fighting [[Night Creeper Leader]]).
===Devil's Due ''G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers'' continuity===
Originally, Snake-Eyes enjoyed a reputation among his military comrades for being incredibly talkative; however, due to injuries he sustained when [[Cobra]] attacked [[Washington, D.C.]] using mind-controlled [[Decepticon]]s as war machines, he lost his ability to speak and his face was severely disfigured. He subsequently became a founding member of the G.I. Joe team.
