As soon as lives are in danger, Red Hot's first and only priority is to roll out and save the day. After a successful raid on a [[Decepticon fuel store|Decepticon fuel depot]] on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], Red Hot and the Rescue Patrol attempted to journey to [[Earth]] with [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]], [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]], and [[Grimlock (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Grimlock]], but the intervention of the [[Mayhem Attack Squad]] resulted in the [[Trans-Time Dimensional Portal|trans-time dimensional portal]] malfunctioning. The Autobots were flung into the depths of Cybertron, where they found the resting place of their god, [[Primus]]! {{storylink|Yesterday's Heroes!}} Red Hot and the others listened to the [[Keeper (Transformer)|Keeper]]'s tale of Primus and [[Unicron]], and the origins of the [[Transformer]] race—until the Keeper was slain by the Decepticons, who had also been transported there by the malfunctioning portal. Red Hot and [[Stakeout (G1)|Stakeout]] assisted Grimlock in taking down [[Octopunch]], but were unable to prevent him from accidentally shooting Primus in the face.
