: The Japanese version of the Battle Patrol comes in a considerably different coloration: Big Shot (Gunlift) and Sidetrack go to deep brown and dark olive, while Flak (Powerbomb) and Sunrunner go blue and white. Early versions of this set also used yellow (!) plastic rather than the medium gray found on everyone but Sunrunner. This variation naturally goes for a fair bit more than the "corrected" version on the secondary market.
: The "corrected-color" version of the Battle Patrol Team was re-released in Battlestars with no alterations. It did come with an extra that the Zone version lacked; Micro Trailer #11.

Bandai is Japan's largest toy company, and Takara's biggest rival.

During the 1980s, when Bandai had very little direct presence in the North American market, they not only licensed their Machine Robo toyline to Tonka as GoBots, but also licensed several other molds to Hasbro for the Transformers line that they owned when they obtained when they bought out another Japanese company, Takatoku.
* Chop Shop
* Ransack
* Venom

Since the Transformers cartoon would air in Japan, these toys were dropped from the animated lineup to avoid giving Takara's rival free publicity... with the exception of Jetfire, who instead got a name-tweak and extensively-changed animation model, probably due to Hasbro wanting some form of advertising for a very expensive item.
Armada
Spiral and the rest of the Street Speed Team were among the Mini-Cons who lived on Earth's Moon, until Dualor brought the Earth-based Mini-Cons there, whoch also brought the Decepticons. Spiral and the others escaped in a rocket-pod that crashed in north Alaska, leaving them deactivated. Ultimately the Autobots were successful in retrieving the pod.

Spiral returned to Cybertron and helped Over-Run activate the Mini-Con Matrix, which dealt a critical blow to Unicron.

Cybertron toy bios
The Street Speed Team were sent to Velocitron as advance scouts for the Autobots. The planet's mass of winding high-speed tracks really appealed to them, to the point where they started having a hard time tearing themselves from the road to get their missions underway.

: This mold was also used to make Redline, and Armada Side Burn. It was planned to be used for Energon Override and packed with Ultra Magnus, but that release was changed late in the production run and given a different Mini-Con Team.

: Individual members of the "Overdrive Edition" redeco of the Team were given away at the 17-day Japanese "World Hobby Fair" in January/February. In April, they were also available as random giveaways at Ito Yokaido stores with the purchase of any Micron Legend product.
: A retooling of the first Backtrack mold, he transforms into a modified Cadillac XLR. He was only available in a complete 3-pack with his also-retooled teammates.

: This version of the mold was used to make Cybertron Dice.

Unreleased
* A gray-and-white redeco of Backtrack was planned to be released as part of a “refresh” version of the Street Speed Team in Armada. The coloration of the Team was a “one-off” of the Takara Overdrive Edition version, with each toy’s main color shifted over to another one.

Trivia
* For whatever reason, the Street Speed Team is the only Armada Mini-Con Team to not have an X-Dimension release.

* The Japanese Galaxy Force version of the Street Speed Team is one of the very few mass-retail "new"-mold Japanese Transformers toys to not show up in the accompanying cartoon.

* "Sullow" seems to be some kind of Japanglish pun on "yellow", the toy's color, and possibly "slow".

* The Cybertron cardback has Backtrack and Oval's names swapped around.
Normally, this would mean big trouble for him, since the Lunar Assault Mini-Con Team's Payload spends most of his time setting traps for Ascentor, hoping to prove he can out-think his quarry rather than simply pummel him physically.
Allicons are another breed of the Quintessons' enforcer-units, often used as guards for more important members of the race. They are slightly smarter than the Sharkticons, even capable of speech, but free will has been pretty thoroughly removed from their programming, to the point where they will malfunction if resisting a direct order.

They transform into somewhat alligator-like creatures.
Generation 1 cartoon continuity
A group of Allicons intercepted Kup and Hot Rod when the two Autobots were lost on Quintessa. Kup used the Universal Greeting and offered them energon goodies, which made the Allicons friendly... until the goodies ran out. Oops. The Allicons subdued the two Autobots and took them to the Quintessons' court chambers, tossing them into the cell next to Kranix. The Transformers: The Movie (1986)
* The script for the movie originally called for the Allicons' scene to feature Sharkticons, but we got these critters instead. Neither in this scene, nor in any of their reappearances during the series were they referred to by name - the script for The Killing Jar identified them only as "Quintesson Guards." The creatures were given the name 'Allicon' years after the fact in Dreamwave's 2004 More Than Meets The Eye series.
An alien, in the broadest sense, is someone or something not native to where they currently are. In the common sense of most fiction, though, it means anything originating from an extraterrestrial source.

The Arsenal Force is formed from the four solitarium weapons included with the first wave of Robot Masters Decepticons.

*RM-04 Wrecker Hook's "Boost Hammer" (core)
*RM-08 Wing Stun's "Jamming Trident" (left side)

100 sets of special clear-red versions of the Arsenal Force weapons were made available as a contest prize (along with red versions of the three Autobot guns), as second place in the same contest where Cybertron Base was first prize.

Also, each of the mail-away "Limited Black Version" Robot Masters toys came with a chrome-gold version of one of the four weapons.

Two further solitarium weapons were released with later toys. They were never shown to have a definite combination with the existing Arsenal Force, or even with each other, but all six can be combined into a single weapon with some ingenuity.

* It has been speculated that the new-mold Robot Masters weapons are actually unused accessories from the Takara "LED Powers" Microman series, which was abruptly cancelled in late 2000. The last section of the line included transparent plastic weapons that could be combined to form armor or larger weapons for the individual Microman figures. The handle size is also identical between the solitarium parts and the "Shining Tector" Microman weapons.
They are stronger than the Scrapper units, but not by a lot, and are generally easily disposed of.

Transformers: The Game
Longarms are particularly dangerous foes that appear many times against both Autobot and Decepticon. They are capable of swinging the tow-arms on their backs in a wide cricle, extending their wrecker-hooks, which results in a devastating slam attack that can send even the larger Transformers sprawling. Since they are also shielded against artillery in robot mode, this attack can only be interrupted by hurling something at them.
Autobot Longarms are white with blue detailing. The Decepticon versions are white with yellow detailing.

: In the Transformers 3D Battle Card Game, the Longarm is on the Autobot side. Pieces punched out from two different cards can be assembled to form a tow-truck or a robot, while a third double-sided card gives its stats and attacks for each mode. He uses the same piece layout as Bonecrusher, just turned around in vehicle mode so the extension is in the back.
Trivia
* Longarm's vehicle mode is modeled after a tow-truck seen in several trailers and promotional stills for the film.

* While the movie tow truck has "Mike's Towing" on the doors, the game model and toy have "Orson's Towing" instead, a reference to Aaron Archer's old screen name "Orson".
:The city is definitely Tranquility in the console game? I'd want to compare the maps to see if it's even the same city. The games are arguably different portions of the movie continuity family, as was mentioned elsewhere.
:And then, of course, if we can compare the maps, we might determine they aren't the same mall in Tranquility. I'm not even convinced I've unlocked all of Tranquility yet. My game completion percentile is, at the time of writing, only 36%. --Sntint 02:15, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
::If one is called "Tranquility Mall"/"The Mall" and another mall is considered something different, then I'm inclined to believe they're distinct malls. --ItsWalky 02:19, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
:::Well, the console game plunks you down in a pretty well-defined "complete" Tranquility. Outside the highway that serves as the city borders... miles o' nothing. Not even miles o' Keefe. -- M Sipher<div id="wikia-credits"><br /><br /><small>From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki, a Wikia wiki.</small></div>

He doesn't really "get" why folks are so interested in the Allspark or why the Autobots are such trouble makers, but he DOES like making things go BOOM, so he might as well do so while he's here.
Transformers: The Game (console)
Hordes of identical Dropkick units are used by both the Autobot and Decepticon armies. Decepticons are blue with a lens-head, while Autobot versions are red and have a facemask with visor. They are protected from most artillery by energy shields in robot mode, and are fond of throwing stuff at foes.
Dropkicks are most commonly found in urban missions, but pop up for certain sub-missions in other areas as well.
: In the Transformers 3D Battle-Card Game, the Dropkick is on the Decepticon side. Pieces punched out from two different cards can be assembled to form a pickup truck or a robot, while a third double-sided card gives its stats and attacks for each mode.
