==Synopsis==
[[Image:Possession Waspinator.jpg|left|200px|thumb|Abra used Hypnosis!]]
A violent storm rages, causing significant damage and knocking out power to both the [[Axalon (BW)|Maximal]] and [[Darksyde|Predacon bases]]. While the [[Maximals]] stash their extra ammo deeper in their ship's hold to prevent undue accidents, Waspinator attempts to get one of the Predacon base's computer consoles online...only to be greeted by a ghostly, shrill voice from it. A power surge hits the bug-bot soon afterwards, and when the other Preds begin to wonder what has happened to him, in he comes, announcing his return "at long last" in the same eerie voice.

The voice belongs to [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], Air Commander of the [[Decepticon]] forces and [[second-in-command]] to the original [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], whose [[spark]] had been tumbling through time and space for an unknown number of years before settling within Waspinator. As he puts it, he was destroyed defending [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] from the Chaos Bringer [[Unicron]], but his spark endured. As a show of his good faith, he pledges his loyalty to the Predacon Megatron, revealing vital information about the state of the Maximal base due to the storm, intelligence Megatron could use to plan a sneak attack. Intrigued by the idea, Megatron accepts Starscream into his ranks, but warns Scorponok in private to watch their new ally closely.

[[Image:Possession Megatron victorious.jpg|right|200px|thumb|"B-3" "BINGO!!!"]]
The next day, as the Maximals are making repairs to their base, they are suddenly attacked by the Preds, and Starscream's intel proves very useful in catching them off-guard. In the ensuing firefight, Dinobot is injured and the Decepticon Air Commander flies rings round Optimus, forcing the Maximals to abandon ship and regroup outside. Happy with their victory, Megatron puts Starscream in charge of holding the ''Axalon'', with Scorponok and Blackarachnia under his command, while the rest of the Preds return to their base, in case the Maximals decide to go for a sneak attack of their own. Once they're alone, though, Blackarachnia shows off her knack for history by correctly pointing out to Starscream that he was [[The Transformers: The Movie|murdered by Galvatron (the Unicron-reborn Megatron) after he betrayed the Decepticon commander]]. She's willing to keep this a secret, though, if she's let in on his real plans: to destabilize Megatron's control and rule both factions.

Deep in the forest, as the Maximals recover, Optimus voices his confusion and concern over Waspinator's new personality. He isn't entirely convinced Waspinator is possessed by the spark of Starscream, but as the [[Maximal Elders]] had long since sealed the Decepticon's records, they're not able to confirm or deny it, either. Fortunately, Dinobot's as much of a military history buff as Blackarachnia is, commenting on how ''Webster's Cybertronian Dictionary'' has pretty much replaced all definitions of "traitor" with Starscream's name. [[Wikipedia:Pinky and the Brain|Are you pondering what I'm pondering]], Optimus?

[[Image:Possession Starscream point.jpg|left|200px|thumb|I want YOU for Predacon Army]]
He is. Returning to the ''Axalon'', the Maximals call Starscream out to announce their surrender, citing the need to use the ship's CR Chamber to repair Dinobot's (now exaggerated) wounds. Feeling generous, the Decepticon Air Commander allows Optimus and Dinobot to come on board, but as predictably as night follows day, betrays them and strips Optimus of his weapons and locks him up in the hold as soon as he steps on deck. With their leader now his prisoner, Starscream orders the other Maximals to attack the Predacon base, over the token objections of Scorponok. They comply, and the trap is set.

[[Image:Possession Starscream gunpoint.jpg|right|200px|thumb|I'm azzz mad azzz hell, and I'm not going to take thizzz anymore!]]
Unbeknown to the Air Commander, he's been duped by the oldest trick in the book; by allowing himself to be betrayed, Optimus has put himself and Dinobot in the perfect position to retake their base, which they do in a dazzling display that forces Starscream to retreat back to Pred territory. Optimus pursues and manages to best the Decepticon in an aerial dogfight, leaving him grovelling at the Maximal's feet...until Blackarachnia shows up, prompting Starscream to plead for her aid, believing they can still complete their coup. No dice; this new generation is much less gullible than [[Autobot|their]] [[Decepticon|ancestors]], and Blackarachnia has skillfully pulled off a double-cross on the double-crosser, igniting a small energon cache underneath Starscream to "exorcise" the Decepticon's spark from Waspinator's body.

At the end of the day, Megatron gets done fixing the back-to-normal Waspinator as Blackarachnia explains her betrayal; if she hadn't done it, she maintains, she wouldn't have been able to sniff out Starscream's true motives. Megatron reluctantly accepts this excuse, but warns her that it still doesn't invoke confidence in her loyalties. Back at the ''Axalon'', the Maximals are finishing up repairs of their own...everyone but Cheetor, who's slacking off with a bout of stargazing, quipping "Twinkle, twinkle, little Starscream," as the camera pans up to beyond the planet's orbit, showing Starscream's spark screaming mech fluid-drenched vengeance on all within the Beast Wars as he drifts away into the void.
==Notes==
===Animation and/or technical glitches===
* When Megatron "checks up" on Waspinator, his dino head inexplicably switches from his right hand to his left hand.

* Unicron's "ring" is not connected to his body.

* When Starscream points to the unguarded side of the ''Axalon'', he seems to have a finger pointing on both sides of his hand, as though the animators were unsure of which hand he was using to point at the screen. (From the looks of the previous scenes, it should be his left hand.)

* When Starscream/Waspinator is standing on top of the ''Axalon'' and instructing the Maximals to attack the Predacon base, his right foot clips straight through one of the autocannons.

* When the Maximals come to "surrender", as Optimus talks to Starscream, his head is hideously deformed, with the sides stretched down to the base of his neck, and his head sitting far too high. Additionally his mouth doesn't move while he's speaking. ''Argh...''

===Continuity errors===
* Looking at the intro sequence with Starscream's spark, he clearly touches down somewhere in the southwest United States, apparently Arizona. The terrain and creatures in ''Beast Wars'' suggest that it takes place in Africa and the presence of the standing stones, though not necessarily Stonehenge, suggest Britain. On the other hand, it makes sense, since "[[The Agenda (Part III)]]" puts the ''Axalon'' and the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] within commuting distance. It's not too wild to assume that it kept commuting for an unknown distance even after touching down either.

* While free-floating sparks are usually depicted as spheres, Starscream's spark has the twiddly bits which are usually only present to attach a spark to a protoform. Then again, it has been stated that Starscream's spark is not normal, so this may have been a conscious alteration?

* Megatron knew a great deal about Cybertronian history, yet apparently did not know the real nature of Starscream and his demise. However, Megatron might have been playing dumb to lure Starscream into being bolder with his actions. On the other hand, both the Predacon and Maximal Elders had a large portion of his records sealed ''due'' to his history. Then again, Megatron DID tell Scorponok to watch Starscream...

** On that same note, both Blackarachnia and Dinobot knew about Starscream, even though Primal stated that his records were sealed. It's possible that the records were sealed only to the Maximals (as Primal notes it was the Maximal Elders who sealed them), but given what we'll learn of te state of Maximal/Predacon relations on Cybertron and the Maximal Elders' dirty little secrets, that explanation is rather hard to believe.

* Despite being born from a Maximal Protoform, Blackarachnia refers to the Decepticons as "our" (the Predacons') ancestors.

* Starscream apparently imprisons Optimus in shackles that he can break out of in about five seconds flat. However, in the episode commentary on [[Madman Entertainment]]'s ''Beast Wars Season 1'' DVDs, story editor [[Bob Forward]] states that Primal originally had a very complex way of breaking free involving tools and the dexterity of his beast mode appendages, but the animators changed this to just him "busting out", possibly due to time and monetary constraints.

===Transformers references===
* Obviously, Starscream himself firmly ties ''Beast Wars'' to established Generation 1 history, though you could argue that Waspinator thinking he was [[Shrapnel (G1)|Shrapnel]] already did this.

* Starscream's spark—or "ghost", as it was then called—possesses several Decepticons (including [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]], [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]], [[Astrotrain (G1)|Astrotrain]], and [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]]) in the [[The Transformers (cartoon)|Generation 1 episodes]] "[[Starscream's Ghost]]" and "[[Ghost in the Machine]]". His actions [[Atari Hitotonari|don't stop]] [[Teletraan 15|there]].

* One of the Predacon insignias on the side of Waspinator's cranium changes into a Decepticon insignia while Starscream's spark is inhabiting his superstructure.

* And of course, Starscream's fate was from ''[[The Transformers: The Movie]]''.

* Starscream's head is white and his face is blue, making him resemble his appearance in [[The Transformers (Marvel comic)|Marvel Comics]] instead of his [[The Transformers (cartoon)|cartoon]] [[character model]].

===Real-world references===
* [[Optimus Primal]] says "Hasta la vista, Starscream", paraphrasing a famous line from the film "[[wikia:c:terminator:Terminator 2: Judgment Day|Terminator 2: Judgment Day]]".

* As he flies away immediately after saying this, Optimus Primal is seen wearing a pair of sunglasses, aping (ahem) Arnold Schwarzenegger's trademark look from the movie.

* Rhinox's line "It's tramplin' time" could be an homage to "It's clobberin' time!", the catchphrase of the [[Thing]] of the [[Fantastic Four]].

===Trivia===
* [[Doug Parker]] performs both [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] (standing in for the late [[Chris Latta]]), and the very Starscreamy [[Terrorsaur (BW)|Terrorsaur]]. In fact, Parker's Starscream is basically Terrosaur with a metallic distortion a la G1 Soundwave. Perhaps Starscream should have possessed Terrorsaur instead — of course, nobody would notice the difference.
* According to fan consultant [[Ben Yee]] and story editor Bob Forward on the Madman DVD commentary track, the original idea for this episode was to have the spark of an Autobot possess one of the characters. This idea was abandoned early on because a model of Starscream had already been made for "[[The Web]]". Besides, Starscream had the experience.
* Also according to Forward, the angles used for Waspinator (when he is possessed by Starscream) are much more "heroic" than normal (views from slightly below him, extreme closeups, etc.), to reflect Starscream's personality.
* Apart from the Decepticon insignia on his head, Waspinator's only physical change when possessed is the addition of a yellow stripe along the upper edges of his "mandibles", similar to their inner edges.
* Additionally, Yee provided all of the original Starscream's [[tech spec]] [[Bio|biographies]] to writer Ian Weir as a reference for Starscream's character and personality. Yee was pleased that Weir incorporated Starscream's original "[[Air Commander]]" [[function]] as the character's rank and title.
===Shattered Glass===
{{ongoing}}
When the ''[[Ark (SG)|Ark]]'' launched for a second time, Ravage accompanied [[Soundwave (SG)|Soundwave]] to [[Earth]] in the pursuit on the ''[[Nemesis (SG)|Nemesis]]'', and his escape pod landed near Soundwave's after the ship was shot down by the [[human]]s. He then joined in on the search for the ''Nemesis''. {{storylink|The Desert Heat!}}

When Soundwave, [[Heatwave]], Ravage, and [[Frenzy (SG)|Frenzy]] finally located the ''Nemesis''<nowiki>'</nowiki> crash site, they noticed a team of scientists snooping around. Ravage decided to have fun with two of them, [[Will Hayes|Will]] and [[Rick Ottman|Rick]], by chasing them around playfully, waving at them, quipping at them in [[wikipedia:Lolcat|LOLspeak]], and [[Yatter|text-messaging them]] so they'd notice he was sneaking up behind them. Eventually Soundwave and Heatwave transformed to deal with and calm down the panicked humans. When Frenzy arrived with the other two, [[Professor Arkeville]] and [[Sephie Beller|Sephie]], he told Ravage things would have gone more smoothly if he hadn't acted like, well, himself. Ravage reacted indignantly to the chastisement.

[[Image:BlitzwingBop-Ravage.jpg|left|thumb|200px|I totally look like a dog here LOL!!!! but I am a CAT :3]]

Ravage ended up getting along famously with Sephie, who understood his odd Netspeak and internet obsessions (both of which merely baffled the other [[Decepticon]]s), and happily purred at and snuggled up to her attentions. When the Decepticons made their attack to free [[Burpleson Air Force Base]] from the [[Autobot]]s' control, [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]] paired them together since Sephie was the only one who could "shut [Ravage] up".

The two were among the ones able to sneak into the base while riding in Soundwave, with the help of a cover story from Will and Rick. They then all split up, with Sephie and Ravage heading towards the control room. Before they could get there, however, they ran into [[Wheeljack (SG)|Wheeljack]], who Ravage cheerfully waved at from the middle of the hallway. However, when the crazy inventor started ranting and pounding the walls, he sensibly took off running with Sephie.

They eventually managed to lose Wheeljack, but by that point Heatwave had already managed to talk the base's transmitter into evacuating the base in preparation for destroying it with the [[Global Orbital Defense Satellite]], so Sephie and Ravage opted for getting out of there themselves. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}

When Soundwave was busy trying to find where [[Blitzwing (SG)|Blitzwing]] had run off to, Ravage informed him that someone had posted on their Yatter account that there was a giant robot near their house, enabling Soundwave to arrive just in the nick of time to save the wayward Decepticon from [[Blaster (SG)|Blaster]]. {{storylink|Blitzwing Bop}}
===First wave toy bio===
A powerful and fearless warrior, Optimus Primal appointed Tigatron to patrol the nothern polar sector, where he roams in his beast mode. When he encounters Predacon activity, he is capable of transforming rapidly and reconfiguring his titanium tail into a powerful quasar cannon, which he then uses to vaporize his enemies! Additionally, he sports a toxic fluid blaster, which renders any body struck by it completely useless. {{storylink|Tigatron#Toys|Tigatron bio}}
====Dawn of Future's Past====
[[Image:Tigatrondawn.jpg|left|250px|thumb|He wasn't even supposed to be here today!]]
Tigatron was once known as Unit 2, part of the [[Maximal Command Security Force]] which protected the fragile peace that existed on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] in the centuries following the [[Pax Cybertronia]]. One of the Security Force's elite troops, Unit 2 was often put in charge of guarding important Maximal artifacts, a job that often required his amazing prowess at tracking. Despite his strong command of this environment, Unit 2 wondered if his destiny and place were elsewhere.

When the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]] was stolen by a band of rogue [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]], Unit 2 responded along with Unit 1, [[Nitrostreak]]. After Nitrostreak was incapacitated, Unit 2 attempted to follow the [[Darksyde]] by commandeering the ''[[Chromia 10]]'', pursuing along with [[Airazor (BW)|its pilot]]. During the ensuing firefight, their ship was badly damaged. [[Optimus Primal]] had their [[spark]]s remotely uploaded to [[blank]] [[protoforms]] in the [[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'s cargo hold, which saved their lives, but severely damaged their core mainframes. {{storylink|Dawn of Future's Past}}

{{note|This story is a [[retcon]], as Tigatron was originally treated as a newborn protoform in the ''Beast Wars'' animated series. :''Voice actor:'' [[Blu Mankuma]] (English), [[Kōichi Tōchika]] (Japanese), [[Armando Tiraboschi]] (Portuguese)

[[Image:Tigatron1.jpg|right|200px|thumb|This is a land of peace, and I will kill anyone who says otherwise!]]
Tigatron's [[stasis pod]] was the first to fall onto the mysterious world which would later be revealed as prehistory [[Earth]]. Born in the far, frozen north, heavily damaged in his memory circuits and unable to remember friend from foe, Tigatron took to his beast mode. He patiently watched the Predacon and Maximal forces duke it out over the empty stasis pod, finally realising that he was a Maximal when [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] threatened him and the white tiger he had scanned. Transforming, he quickly dispatched the Predacons, but told [[Optimus Primal]] that he preferred to remain in the wilds. {{storylink|Fallen Comrades}}

From the northern territories, he would send weekly updates to the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'' through communication towers. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 1}} He teamed up with Primal to investigate why [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]] was buzzing around in Maximal territory, and was able to track the Predacon back to a cave where [[Terrorsaur (BW)|Terrorsaur]] and [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]] were attempting to use a [[sonic emitter]] to break into the Maximal base. After he stole the device, it exploded, and Tigatron rejoined the other Maximals to mourn [[Rattrap]], who had apparently died trying to disarm [[Sentinel (BW)|Sentinel]] (only he hadn't died). {{storylink|A Better Mousetrap}}

When a [[temporal probe]] sent by the [[Maximal High Council]] neared the planet, Tigatron defended the Maximals while they tried to build a transmission tower on Predacon soil. He became the first victim of [[Tarantulas]]'s [[transformation lock lens]] and ended up in a cage next to [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]] in the Predacon base. Cheetor fouled up and clued Megatron in as to what was going on, but Tigatron led an escape, and the pair were able to destroy Tarantulas's weapon, though too late to contact the probe. {{storylink|The Probe}}

[[Image:TheSpark Tigatron beast mode.jpg|thumb|left|200px|White Tiger-Ranger Power.]]
Tigatron returned to the ''Axalon'' when the Maximals were preparing to leave the planet, remarking that it felt strange to be inside an artificial structure. After it turned out that the Predacons weren't as dead as had been thought, Tigatron attempted to leave to help Primal and Cheetor rescue [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]], but was told to sit down by [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]]. No sooner was takeoff underway than the ship was damaged by Megatron and crashed once again. {{storylink|Victory (episode)|Victory}} Alerted to the landing of another stasis pod, Tigatron headed for it, only to run into [[Scorponok (BW)|Scorponok]]. He was swiftly able to freeze the scorpion, only to be taken out by Blackarachnia's [[cyber venom]]. He was later around in the ''Axalon'' to welcome [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]] to the team. {{storylink|The Spark}}

[[Image:Airazortigatrontrigger.jpg|right|220px|thumb|A cat and bird fall for each other. Love is truly blind.]]
It was during one of his weekly reports that Tigatron was attacked by Terrorsaur and Waspinator and found himself on a strange [[Brigadoon|flying island]]. He explored the natural beauty of the island and believed this area, with its powerful death ray and many horrible death-traps, to be a land of peace. When Scorponok and Blackarachnia arrived on the island and shot down Airazor, Tigatron used one of Scorponok's [[cyberbee]]s to send a warning message back to base. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 1}} The duo received reinforcements in the form of Optimus and Rattrap, and they attempted to beat the Predacons to the obelisk in the center of the island. They failed, and to Tigatron's distress, he was forced to destroy the island's power source after Blackarachnia took control of it. The island crashed, leaving Tigatron with profound regret. {{storylink|The Trigger, Part 2}}

Tigatron was the first Maximal to spot [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]]'s stasis pod crashing, but was prevented from getting there by Waspinator. Airazor lent a hand, and he sent her ahead to secure the pod, but arrived to find she'd failed—the new protoform was a Predacon, and Tarantulas had made off with the empty pod. Tigatron pursued Tarantulas and managed to destroy the pod so that the Predacons couldn't learn anything from it, before he was attacked in retaliation by the Predacons. He would almost certainly have been destroyed if it wasn't for the timely arrival of Optimus and Airazor. {{storylink|Spider's Game}}

[[Image:CalloftheWild Tigatron face.jpg|thumb|left|250px|I can haz robot moed?]]
Being more at home with his beast mode than his robot mode, he was invaluable help when the Maximals were left stuck in beast mode and overpowered by animal instincts. He helped them learn to work with these instincts instead of struggling for dominance. {{storylink|Call of the Wild}} After a group of the Maximals went missing, Tigatron and Primal hunted for them. Tigatron eventually heard their weapons fire and was able to alert Optimus. It turned out that the four Maximals had become blinded by an energon explosion and had been making their way back to base. {{storylink|Dark Voyage}}

After the other Maximals were expelled from their base by the Predacons with the aid of a [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]]-possessed Waspinator, Airazor alerted Tigatron. Tigatron joined the other Maximals in a ploy to take back their base, which apparently involved helping Starscream to mount an assault on the ''[[Darksyde]]''. {{storylink|Possession}} He also helped provide reinforcements for Dinobot and Rattrap, as the pair tried to find a cure for the [[energon discharge virus]] Rhinox with which had been afflicted. {{storylink|The Low Road}}

[[Image:Law of the Jungle Tigatron.jpg|thumb|right|240px|KKHHAAAAAANNNNNN!!!]]
While providing aid for Cheetor and Dinobot, Tigatron easily trounced Waspinator and Inferno, but a stray shot from his weapon caused an avalanche, killing his tiger friend [[Snowstalker]]. Anguished, Tigatron quit the [[Beast Wars (event)|Beast Wars]], refusing to fight any longer, despite several of the Maximals trying to persuade him otherwise. In the end, it was the Predacons' act of taking out Dinobot and Primal which made Tigatron realise that he had to do everything he could to protect the land. {{storylink|Law of the Jungle}}

Not much later, Tigatron was the first to detect a pulsing alien energy source. When Megatron initiated a somewhat suspicious truce shortly afterward, [[Optimus Primal]] ordered a covert infiltration of the Predacon base. [[Rattrap]] and [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]] made enough of a distraction to allow Tigatron inside the [[Darksyde|Predacon base]].
The two were not seen again until much later, when their inert bodies were revealed to be the captives of the Vok, floating somewhere in a deep-space nebula. The Vok removed their sparks from their bodies, created a third spark, and then fused the new spark and the bodies into the awesomely powerful [[Vok]] emissary [[Tigerhawk]]. Tigerhawk was sent to Earth, while the sparks of Airazor and Tigatron followed behind. Reaching Earth, their sparks entered a comatose Cheetor, giving him a vision of Airazor and Tigatron's bodies, their sparks becoming one. But when the Vok interrupted the vision, Cheetor woke up screaming. He thought it was just a dream until he saw the combined Tigatron/Airazor spark floating before him. The combined spark led Cheetor to [[Tarantulas's lair]], where Tarantulas was attempting to steal Tigerhawk's Vok powers for himself. Ultimately, the Vok were expelled into Tarantulas's body, killing him, which left Tigerhawk's body open for Tigerhawk/Airazor's spark to inhabit. {{storylink|Other Victories}}
Tigatron eventually met up with several [[Autobot]]s and [[Decepticon]]s from [[Transformers (2007)|another dimension]]. A battle broke out between the Maximals, Predacons, Autobots and Decepticons and Tigatron found himself pitted against [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]]. Starscream attempted to get the drop on him from the high ground, but Tigatron managed to blast the Decepticon square in the face. [[Optimus Primal]] and [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] then teamed up to take down the Decepticon for good. The battle resolved, the other-dimensional Transformers returned to their place of origin and the Beast Wars continued as they were. {{storylink|Beast Wars Diorama Story}}
[[Image:PrimevalDawn2-TigatronSpittor.jpg|left|250px|thumb|That's an impressive transformation there, Tigatron.]]
Tigatron and Airazor's sparks were sent back to Earth by the [[Vok]] sometime after [[Tigerhawk]]'s destruction. Tigatron's spark took possession of [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]]'s former body at the bottom of a lake. Joining Transmetal Airazor and a newly created [[Primal Prime]], {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 1}} Tigatron scoured the planet for abandoned [[stasis pod]]s. He awoke [[Ramulus]] from his pod, but [[Spittor (BW)|Spittor]] had already been reprogrammed into a Predacon by the time they reached him. Spittor had joined a reborn [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]] and the recently created [[Iguanus (BW)|Iguanus]] and [[Razorclaw (BW)|Razorclaw]], and so the two groups battled. As Tigatron attempted to confront Spittor, Airazor knocked Spittor away, as she noted that the Predacon was covered in lethal poison. While they were occupied, [[Tarantulas]], who was resurrected with the power of the Vok at his command, battled Primal Prime and ripped the [[Matrix of Leadership]] from his chest. {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 2}}

[[Image:Primal Prime Vok.jpg|right|thumb|150px|Then Airazor dies or something, yadda yadda yadda...]]

Primal Prime, traumatized by the separation, was reduced to a coma, so as the Predacons returned to Tarantulas's lair with their prize, Tigatron and the others retreated with their leader's body to the Ark. Tigatron and Airazor left Ramulus to commune with the Vok on their own, but could not successfully contact them. Further more, Tigatron was worried about Airazor, who seemed to have incurred long-term wounds from the battle with Ravage's Predacons. Their concerns were interrupted by an attack on the Ark, orchestrated by Ravage. However, Ramulus had apparently fled for reasons unknown, leaving Tigatron and Airazor alone against their attackers. Or not, as Primal Prime suddenly appeared behind them, possessed and rejuvenated by the Vok! {{storylink|Primeval Dawn Part 3}}

{{note|[[3H Productions|3H]] folded before the "Primeval Dawn" story could be finished, so the exact story of how Tigatron came to join the [[Wrecker|Wreckers]] is unknown. It seems likely, though, based on the needs of later stories and comments by the writers, that Tarantulas was defeated, the Matrix was restored to Optimus Prime's body, and Primal Prime, Tigatron, Spittor, Ramulus, and also [[Sonar (BW)|Sonar]], [[Packrat]], [[Fractyl]], and Waspinator returned to Cybertron in the transwarp portal that Tarantulas had been building. Airazor's fate is unknown.}}

[[Image:Departure-TigatronmeltsQuake.jpg|left|thumb|300px|What was that up above, uh, about your "personal code prohibiting lethal force"?]]

Tigatron, Primal Prime, and others arrived on Cybertron during Megatron's anti-biological reign and joined [[Apelinq]]'s Wreckers. The Wreckers and various other teams which persisted on the planet met with the [[Oracle (BM)|Oracle]], which assigned each of them a task. When Optimus Primal objected, saying that with all these soldiers, Megatron could be defeated easily, the Oracle swept him away and cleansed his memory of the recent events. Tigatron vehemently objected to this treatment of his former commander. A set of coordinates was infused into Primal Prime's head by the Oracle. When arriving at an Autobot shuttle, which was to ferry the Wreckers to those coordinates, Tigatron felt that something was amiss. It was then that the Vehicon generals [[Spy Streak]], [[Scavenger (BM)|Scavenger]], [[Quake (G1)|Quake]] and [[Blastcharge (BM)|Blastcharge]] attacked. Tigatron used his Nature's Fury attack, utterly destroying Quake. {{storylink|Departure}}

During the ride in the Autobot shuttle, Tigatron meditated, recovering from using his powers against Quake. Ramulus knocked at the door of his chambers to alert him to their arrival on [[Archa Nine]], and Tigatron sensed that danger awaited the Wreckers. As half their group left to scout the planet, Tigatron stayed behind with the remainder to repair their damaged shuttle. Tigatron's feelings of dread turned out to be correct; [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] betrayed them all and stole the artifact the Wreckers were after, the [[Divine Light]]. {{storylink|Betrayal}} Apelinq had begun to lose what little faith he had in the mission, but Tigatron assured him that they must quickly mourn their fallen, soldier on, and accept their divine charge.

The Oracle led the Wreckers next to a desolate ice planet, where they found the exiled [[Quintesson]] scientist [[Al-Badur]]. Tigatron, meanwhile, had stayed behind with a few others on board the shuttle, where they faced an army of [[Sharkticon (G1)|Sharkticon]]s and defeated them easily. {{storylink|Disclosure}}

[[Image:Chromutated.jpg|right|thumb|300px|I'm not sure what's going on here, but it looks f@#$ing AWESOME.]]

{{note|In the unpublished [[Wreckers: Finale Part I|Wreckers #4]], Tigatron and the others learned that the Quintessons had invaded Cybertron and that [[Cryotek (RID)|Cryotek]] was taking this opportunity to use the Divine Light to assume the powers of [[Primus]]. Tigatron rejected this idea, stating that the Vok would never allow it. The Wreckers hurried back to Cybertron, and Primal Prime took Tigatron, Ramulus, and Apelinq with him to the surface below to find and stop Cryotek.}}

Tigatron was taken aback by the beauty of the newly [[technorganic]] Cybertron, but he didn't get a chance to enjoy it before the Wreckers plunged into battle. Unfortunately, at the planet's core, things went wrong for them almost immediately. Cryotek had already used the Divine Light to mutate himself into a larger, more impressive version of himself, and with one blast, he had destroyed both Apelinq and Primal Prime. Before Tigatron and the others could be next, thankfully, Primus himself intervened and brought back Apelinq and Primal Prime as a single new entity, [[Sentinel Maximus]]!

As amazing as this was, it didn't take long for Cryotek to shrug it off, and soon Tigatron and the others were fighting not only Cryotek and his loyal servant and former Wrecker, Cyclonus, but also his pet [[Deployer]], [[Chro]], who was also mutated to enormous size. Ramulus wondered why Tigatron did not simply unleash his Vok powers on their foes. Tigatron responded that doing such takes an incredible amount of focus and willpower, lest he tear himself and everything around him apart, and the moment did not lend itself to such.

Soon the Wreckers met up with the native Cybertronian counterforce, led by [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]]. Though the two were happy to reunite, Tigatron was surprised to hear the matured Cheetor give him orders. Tigatron next found [[Rotorbolt (Universe)|Rotorbolt]] with the mangled body of his fellow Predacon, Fractyl, who was still on life support from an earlier part of their journey. Tigatron feared Rotorbolt was going to euthanize the geometrist, and so he offered to use his Vok powers to restore him. The Vok warned him that this would extinguish the last of his connection to them, but still Tigatron proceeded.

Tigatron also met up with [[Rattrap]], [[Nightscream (BM)|Nightscream]], and [[Botanica (BM)|Botanica]], and after avoiding the question of the fate of Airazor, learned that Al-Badur had led the Wreckers and Cryotek to a long-forgotten Quintesson sentencing chamber. The Quintesson, attempting to 'port Cryotek away, locked both the Predacon and Sentinel Maximus in a containment field that threatened to suck them away into a dimension of nothingness. Tigatron and the others tried to free Sentinel Maximus with their various weapons, but had no luck. Though Cheetor and Rodimus tried to use their [[Matrix Templar]] powers to avert disaster, Sentinel Maximus ultimately sacrificed himself and Cryotek to the portal. Rodimus, who had suffered great wounds during his fight with Cyclonus, died shortly after due to these further exertions. Fractyl begged Tigatron to use his powers to save Rodimus as well, but Tigatron could not, as the Vok had since left him. Despite these losses, the Wreckers were victorious and Cybertron was saved. {{storylink|Wreckers: Finale Part II}}
*'''Tigatron vs Inferno''' (2-pack, 2009)
He is painted in the original American toy's colors (being mostly pale yellow, with a silver face), and like Cheetor has articulation at the shoulders and neck. He comes packaged with [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]].

:The US release of this two-pack has been cancelled, but it has been found in Australasia (Hong Kong and Australia) and European (UK, Germany and Russia) markets.
==Trivia==
[[Image:BWRConcept07.jpg|right|150px|thumb|Tigatron's control art. Note the extensive retooling from Cheetor that never happened.]]
[[Image:Tigatron-orangetoy.jpg|right|150px|thumb|C-L-E-M-S-OH CRAP!]]
[[Image:Tigatron-packageart.jpg|right|150px|thumb|He's armed with a cryo-freeze beam and a deadly raspberry-blowing tongue.]]
* The original concept art for Tigatron, shown in the "[[Beast Wars Reborn Golden Disc]]", shows that he was originally intended to be a [[Retool|retooling]] of the mold, rather than a simple [[redeco]], changing his beast-mode head and a lot of his robot-mode parts (yet not the face), as well as giving him some kind of horrible tumor gun. Obviously, this didn't happen.

* The Tigatron shown at Toy Fair in 1996 was cast in orange plastic instead of cream-colored, giving him a more "traditional" tiger look. The change to a "white" tiger has so far been unexplained.

* Tigatron's beast mode may well have been female. His template animal was female, and while wild felines have size differences between males and females Tigatron and Snowstalker were shown as being the same size; indeed, they were for all intents and purposes identical, such that [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]] thought Snowstalker ''was'' Tigatron. (Though to be fair, Waspinator is not the brightest crayon in the box.)

* In the Japanese dub of ''Beast Wars'', for the sake of humor, Tigatron was played as a "samurai" ronin. Additionally, since [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]] was made male in the Japanese dub, "he" was presented as Tigatron's ward whom he looked to as a "brother" (hence the close bond)... but this did not prevent the "wacky" dubbing from broadly hinting at homosexuality between the two, especially after the events of "[[Other Visits (Part 1)|Other Visits]]".

* An unused idea by [[Larry DiTillio]] was that the Vok ceased trying to destroy Earth because contact with Tigatron (after his abduction) made them question the morality of the tactic. <ref>http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~sstoneb/tf/tidbits/vok.txt Translation of relevant text from the book ''[[Beast Wars Universe]]''</ref>

* Tigatron's role in the ''Beast Wars'' cartoon was originally intended for [[Wolfang (Maximal)|Wolfang]].<ref>[http://groups.google.com/group/alt.toys.transformers/browse_frm/thread/9c79c4226fc6dd28/30c3cdf158ea6e52?lnk=st&q=bob+forward+beast+wars+tigatron+wolfang&rnum=1#30c3cdf158ea6e52 alt.toys.transformers]. The change was also discussed in the commentary track on one of the ''Beast Wars'' DVD releases.</ref>

* Tigatron's [[package art]] is one of a handful that features the toy's mutant head instead of the regular robot head, to rather hilarious effect.

*Tigatron's Japanese name was rendered as '''Tigertron''' on a trading card.<ref>http://www18.tok2.com/home/jackhama/transformers/bwtcard_1/img/006.jpg Trading card</ref> Both English spellings are possible Romanizations of the katakana.

*He has a [[Five Servos of Doom|stadium named after him]].

* Cheetor and Tigatron are the only characters in ''[[Beast Wars (cartoon)|Beast Wars]]'' who are definitely [[Scale|in the correct scale]] to the lifeforms they adopted as beast modes, as each is seen nearby real versions of the animals they mimic.

* It's ironic that Tigatron's Transmetal figure is a redeco of Metals Ravage, considering the color scheme of [[Ravage (Shattered Glass)|Ravage's mirror universe counterpart...]].
===Shattered Glass===
{{ongoing}}
When the ''[[Ark (SG)|Ark]]'' launched for a second time, Ravage accompanied [[Soundwave (SG)|Soundwave]] to [[Earth]] in the pursuit on the ''[[Nemesis (SG)|Nemesis]]'', and his escape pod landed near Soundwave's after the ship was shot down by the [[human]]s. He then joined in on the search for the ''Nemesis''. {{storylink|The Desert Heat!}}

They eventually managed to lose Wheeljack, but by that point Heatwave had already managed to talk the base's transmitter into evacuating the base in preparation for destroying it with the [[Global Orbital Defense Satellite]], so Sephie and Ravage opted for getting out of there themselves. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}

When Soundwave was busy trying to find where [[Blitzwing (SG)|Blitzwing]] had run off to, Ravage informed him that someone had posted on their Yatter account that there was a giant robot near their house, enabling Soundwave to arrive just in the nick of time to save the wayward Decepticon from [[Blaster (SG)|Blaster]]. {{storylink|Blitzwing Bop}}
This mode fits onto the back of his mold-partner "[[Scorch|Turbomaster]]" via a pair of clips on the vehicle mode that fit into the tape spools. In this mode, Ravage is compatible with either the original [[Soundwave (G1)/toys|Soundwave]] (and similar toys), and in jaguar mode, the [[5mm post|5mm holes]] can accommodate Glit's weapons or those of the original Ravage (even though there are tiny versions of the weapons above his hips).
:He was sold in a [[BotCon 2010]] souvenir set along with [[Double Punch]] and "Turbomaster". *''Shattered Glass'' Ravage was [http://shortpacked.com/comic/book-8/04-guest-strips-and-miscellany/sgravage/ conceived] as a humorous fan-character by [[David Willis]], as a silly inversion of [[Generation 1 (franchise)|Generation 1]] [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]]'s role as a quiet, stealthy spy. The character gained a bit of a following when Willis set up Twitter and Facebook pages for him as part of the joke, leading to his being officialized with a profile in [[Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 26|issue 26]] of the [[Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club (magazine)|Transformers Collectors' Club magazine]].
This makes him the only character from the franchise to have a repurpose for multiple "generations", as well as the only characters whose repurposed figures were [[redecoes]] of his normal universe counterpart, but meant to be other characters in their own right.
Silverbolt points out that she was originally a Maximal protoform and that he himself was a Predacon once, but Primal counters that Blackarachnia is evil to the core, whereas Silverbolt just didn't know any better. He confines Silverbolt to quarters and dispatches [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]] to deal with Blackarachnia, despite Silverbolt's request to be sent, if only to protect Cheetor.

In his cell, Megatron berates [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]] for siding with the Maximals, to which Ravage responds that Megatron is an inferior leader when compared to his [[Megatron (G1)|namesake]]. Megatron also points out that Ravage's [[Transwarp cruiser|ship]] is depleted of [[Energon (fuel)|energon]]. He offers a stash of [[Energon cube|cubes]] for his freedom, but Ravage reveals he already knows the stash's location, as [[Tarantulas]] is a Lieutenant in the [[Predacon Secret Police]].

Cheetor prepares to go out for Blackarachnia, but first apologizes to Silverbolt, who also apologizes—for the punch he gives Cheetor right afterward. The pair are interrupted by [[Rattrap]], who raises the alarm, forcing Silverbolt to flee the base. Heading out to retrieve the energon cubes, Cheetor complains to Optimus about the rough treatment Silverbolt gave him. They arrive at the cave Tarantulas had indicated, carefully venturing inside, only to find that the energon is in the form of [[Energon crystal|unstable crystals]] and [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]] is waiting to ambush them.

[[Image:Agenda 2 Silverbolt Blackarachnia.jpg|right|200px|thumb|Did you ever know that you were my hero?The wind beneath my wings?]]
Silverbolt locates Blackarachnia following [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]] to [[Mount St. Hilary|a mountain]]. Silverbolt begs her to come in, but Blackarachnia claims to have no feelings for him at all. To prove her point, she shoots him. But as Silverbolt points out, it was non-fatal, saying she does care for him and won't simply kill him. While they are [[Kiss|distracted]], the hoverpod they're in rams into Waspinator, shattering both, but Silverbolt saves Blackarachnia. (Waspinator is out of luck, as usual.)

Back at the cave, [[Inferno (BW)|Inferno]] is beginning to suffer from energon buildup. Cackling madly, he ignites the crystals in an attempt to destroy Optimus and Cheetor. The chain reaction destroys the mountain and seemingly incinerates Inferno, but the two Maximals manage to escape. Once they're safe, Optimus informs Ravage of what happened.

[[Image:G1Megatron Disc Agenda part2.jpg|left|300px|thumb|Amazing how much data recovery can restore.]]
At his ship, Ravage confronts Megatron over his treachery. Megatron points out that Ravage intends to kill them all, Maximal and Predacon. Ravage admits to this and arms the vessel's internal autoguns. Desperate, Megatron reveals he had ulterior motives for stealing the [[Golden Disk (Voyager)|Golden Disk]], something which could affect the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]]. Ravage doubts him, pointing out the Disk's destruction, but allows Megatron to convince him. Released from his [[Power bond|power bonds]], the Predacon commander reveals that he still has a fragment of the Disk, and it holds proof that Ravage will believe—a message from [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], the [[Decepticon leader|leader]] of the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]]. Noting his potential defeat, Megatron left instructions for the descendants of the Decepticons to use [[transwarp]] technology to travel back in time to Ancient [[Earth]]. Although the message cuts out partway through, the Predacon's gambit succeeds: Ravage, moved by the sight of his former leader, releases Megatron.

[[Image:Agenda 2 Optimus Cheetor betrayed.jpg|right|200px|thumb|You should've trusted Rattrap. Never trust a Decepticon.]]
At the mountain, Blackarachnia and Silverbolt discover that Megatron was already there, having dug a tunnel and then sealed it. Despite Blackarachnia's constant demands that Silverbolt leave, he refuses, and she reluctantly accepts his help in dispensing of one of the larger rocks.

As Optimus and Cheetor return to the ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'', Optimus radios ahead for a status report and is warned by Rattrap that they no longer need to be subordinate to Ravage—he's switched sides! The warning is just a little too late, as the transwarp cruiser, with Megatron riding atop, shifts into view behind the pair. As Ravage [[Transformation|transforms]] to interface with his ship, the Predacons launch an attack.
==Notes==
*Apparently Silverbolt is <s>stupid</s> chivalrous enough to not only not harm Blackarachnia, but to assist her actively in carrying out Megatron's nefarious schemes. Bad doggy. Bad, bad doggy.

===Technical/animation glitches===
* After Silverbolt Punches through the door and knocks Cheetor out, how does the door fully open into the hull without a hitch?

===Continuity errors===
*Tarantulas heads the recovery mission for Megatron's energon stash, yet it's been established that his new base is loaded with stable energon. Why don't he and Ravage simply use ''that'' to repower the stealth cruiser? Tarantulas said in "[[Tangled Web]]" that there was enough energon in his lair "to sustain a frugal Predacon for quite some time," which might not amount to enough to repower the cruiser.
* Along those same lines, it's odd how Ravage, one of Generation 1 Megatron's closest confidants and most loyal allies, didn't know of the secret message his leader put on the Golden Disk. Clearly, Megatron doesn't have the same trust in his allies as they do in him.
** Also, why would he agree to the plot given in the message? It's been confirmed by the writers that the message was an assassination order on Prime, and that - should it succeed - it would destroy the Matrix as well, preventing it from being used against Unicron, when the Chaos Bringer comes. While this accounts for Megatron's hesitance in going through with it until now, it doesn't explain why Ravage - who had ''lived'' through those events and saw the destructive and corruptive power of Unicron ''first hand'' - would so readily agree to go through with it, especially given that the plan could've easily been dismissed by him as being before knowledge of Unicron was even known to the Transformers.

===Transformers references===
*When Megatron shows the recording from the remains of the Golden Disk, the face and voice of the original Megatron are shown.
*When Ravage transforms, the sound effect is the one used by all Transformers in the [[Generation 1 (franchise)|original series]].
*Originally, when Ravage transformed and inserted his cassette mode into the control console, the Generation 1 cartoon theme song was going to play during his first cry of "Decepticons Forever!" and subsequent attack on the ''Axalon''. However, due to copyright constraints, this plan was dropped, and a more generic song was put in its place.

===Real-world references===
*Silverbolt makes a howling noise to simulate a siren and asks Blackarachnia to "pull this vehicle over".
*When Waspinator is smashed to pieces by the stasis pod ship, a toilet is seen falling down among the wreckage.
*After the crash with Waspinator, when Blackarachnia is saved by Silverbolt, he either breaks the fourth-wall or is genre savvy when he tells her that he's "a heroic character."
*Silverbolt's words about "kiss me or kill me" may be a reference to [[wikipedia:The_Evil_Dead|Ash Williams]].
*Ravage uses [[wikipedia:Dr._Evil|Dr. Evil]]'s raised-pinkie gesture on Megatron.

===Trivia===
*Primal has a tiny trophy of a gorilla on his desk.

*Efforts were made to get [[Frank Welker]] to provide the voice for Megatron's message, but financial and scheduling conflicts precluded this from happening. [[Garry Chalk]] voiced him instead.

*This is the closest Silverbolt ever came to directly taking down Waspinator in the entire series. (Silverbolt was the backseat driver here.)
* Rumbler's connection to Megatron is likely a reference to [[Rollar]]'s connection to [[Optimus Prime (G1)]].
:''Appliancebots are a group of [[Allspark Mutation]]s from the [[Revenge of the Fallen (franchise)|Revenge of the Fallen]] portion of the [[live-action film series|live-action film]] [[continuity family]].''

[[Image:Appliancebots.jpg|right|thumb|300px|98... 99... 100! Ready or not, come out Sam!]]
The '''appliancebots''' came to life when [[Sam Witwicky]] discovered an [[All Spark]] fragment in the shirt he wore at the battle of [[Mission City]]. When he touched the fragment, it activated and he dropped it. It burnt a hole through his bedroom floor and into the Witwicky kitchen, where it sent out a pulse which brought the household appliances to life.
After coming to life, the appliancebots proceeded to cause cause havoc and mayhem, chasing down Sam and trying to shoot him. Sam escaped through his bedroom window, but the appliancebots continued their assault, even expanding it to include [[Ron Witwicky]] and the dog house for [[Mojo]] and [[Frankie]]. As Ron and Sam sought cover behind the backyard fountain, Sam called to [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], who was hiding in the garage. Bumblebee opened fire on the appliancebots, killing them, but also destroying much of the house. {{storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (film)|Revenge of the Fallen}}
==Notes==
*The term "appliancebot" comes from the [[Revenge of the Fallen (novel)|film novelization]].
*The appliancebots in this film are more comical and less feral, homicidal maniacs than the Allspark Mutations in the first film.
*One appliancebot, a former blender, had a... rather suggestively-placed cannon. By which we mean it was his junk. He shot at Sam with his secret junk. That was a cannon.
* Out of all of the appliancebots, the hand whisk is the least logical, as a hand whisk doesn't have any electronics within it to be affected by the All Spark piece.
