Unlike Aerialbot, he can only be used in multiplayer or accessed Via an ingame cheat. The cheat for the XBOX 360 version is listed on some sites wrong. However, the real cheat on the XBOX 360 version is: RS,LB,LB,Y,X,A. The code to use him in the PS3 version is: R3, L1, L1, Triangle, Square, X. Protectobot is not playable in Deep 6 due to being unable to fly. The cheat turns achievements and profiles off oddly enough, even though the cheat itself doesn't make the gameplay much different.

*Protectobot Scout's playable version plays similar to Bumblebee. It even uses similar weapons and has a similar X/Square Button Vehicle takedown where, just like Bumblebee, instead of ramming into the opponent like most other characters do, Protectobot Scout uses a back flip kick. It fires missiles for a secondary weapon that also resemble Bumblebee's secondary weapon's missiles.
PS2/Wii
The Decepticon Long-Range Warriors transformed into silver Earth jets rather than their usual black. Their arm blasters fired red balls of plasma, similar to their Autobot counterparts' blue.

When Optimus Prime dropped into Shanghai (literally) via NEST cargo plane, Long-Range Warriors were the first to fight back, led by their lieutenant. Obviously, it ended quite disastrously, with the Autobot leader shooting through dozens of the Decepticons and cutting the last three stragglers in half at the waist. They later attacked Ironhide, who was on a mission to destroy Demolishor. In the same theatre of operations, they also assisted Sideways when he was being pursued by Bumblebee.

When Bumblebee was captured, these air warriors guarded the base where the Autobot was imprisoned. However, a traitor set the Autobot free, and the units assailed Bumblebee while he worked his way through the base. Revenge of the Fallen (Wii/PS2)

*Much like Protectobot Scout, The Seeker Sniper is playable in Single Player via cheat code in the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and personal computer versions of the game. The cheat to play as the Seeker on the PlayStation 3 version is: Square, Triangle, Square, L1, X, L1. To play as the Seeker in the Xbox 360 version input: X, Y, X, LB, A, LB. Unfortunately, all achievements and your online sessions will be disabled by playing as the Seeker, which is odd considering all that's being done is playing as another character. Unlike the Autobot's Protectobot Scout's Playable version, the Seeker may be used in Deep-6.
* Aerialbot Scout 2's design and alternate mode are based on the Generation 1 Aerialbot Skydive. Unlike the multiplayer-only Protectobot, he can also be used in some single player missions.
*According to their status, these Decepticon flyboys have great vehicle speed, but not so much weapon damage and running. where did this come from?
*Much like Protectobot (Scout), The Seekers is playable in Single Player via cheat code in the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game. The cheat to play as the Seeker on the PS3 version is: Square, Triangle, Square, L1, X, L1. To Play as the Seeker in the XBOX 360 version input: X, Y, X, LB, A, LB. Unfortunately, all acheivements and your online sessions will be disabled by playing as the Seeker, which is odd considering all that's being done is playing as another character. Unlike the Autobot's Protectobot (Scout)'s Playable version, the Seeker may be used in Deep-6.
* Protectobot Scout (called "Protectobot" in-game) is one of the two mass-produced Transformers playable in the 360/PS3/PC version of the ROTF game, the other being Aerialbot Scout 2. Unlike Aerialbot, he can only be used in multiplayer or accessed Via an ingame cheat. The cheat is listed on some sites wrong. However, the real cheat on the XBOX 360 version is: RS,LB,LB,Y,X,A. Protectobot is not playable in Deep 6 due to being unable to fly. The cheat turns achievements and profiles off oddly enough, even though the cheat itself doesn't make the gameplay much different.
