I'm kind of loath to include the Sharkticons and Seacons and shit, but, say, Overbite's bio identifies him as a "shark," while Snapdragon's just calls him a "reptile." ::: For invertebrates, I don't know HasTak have ever made multiple distinct species, so the way we count scorpions and crabs is fine. Spiders might be the exception there. The vertebrate section, however, is a MESS. We have a "wolves" section that excludes the domestic subspecies of Canis lupus, and then an entire order of mammals lumped together as "bats". Vertebrates should probably be broken down by species, although that makes a mess of bears. Every child can identify mammal species on sight ("wolf," "lion," "tiger," "gorilla"), but more distantly related animals are usually known only at the order or even subclass level ("parrot", "shark"). :I think this page is a useful reference whenever three or more characters from multiple molds share a vehicle mode. A LOT of that Fizzle-style Baja Buggy. A LOT of those huge earth-mover dump-trucks. A skittering little spaz, Frenzy smuggled himself aboard [[Air Force One]] disguised as a CD player boom-box. He made his way to the lower decks, carried by an [[Air Force One attendant|unsuspecting flight attendant]] who was on a vital mission to the storage area to "rustle up some Ding-Dongs" for [[President of the United States|the President]]. Once left alone, he got into the server area, and began to simultaneously hack the national database and upload a virus, re-attempting the hack that [[Blackout (Movie)|Blackout]] had tried at the [[SOCCENT Base]] in [[Qatar]] earlier. This attempt was discovered by government agent [[Maggie Madsen]], and the defense network was shut down in order to half the hack. Frenzy was pissed, but he got the virus uploaded, which would later shut down global communications, and got a little bit of info on what he was looking for.

He was discovered by Secret Service agents, who he quickly dispatched with his machineguns and disc-blade launcher before hiding away in boombox form again. When Air Force One landed, he escaped through the landing gear, slipping into the awaiting Decepticon [[Barricade (Movie)|Barricade]]. After flipping the military the bird and complaining about how they shot at him, he updated Barricade on their next target... a human called "[[Sam Witwicky|LadiesMan217]]".

When Barricade was forced to go to robot mode in order to handle [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], he released Frenzy to chase the humans the [[Autobot]] was guarding. Frenzy managed to tackle his primary target and even managed to get his pants off him (kinky!), but [[Mikaela Banes|the other human]] attacked him with a power saw she'd found and cut his head off. To add insult to injury, Sam punted the Decepticon's head away. It was actually to Frenzy's benefit, however, as he landed not too far from Mikaela's purse, which had spilled when Bumblebee had dumped them out earlier. Still alive and ambulatory despite losing most of his body mass, he speared and scanned Mikaela's cel phone, changed his form to match it, and hid out in her purse.

Frenzy stayed hidden, watching the activities of the humans and Autobots until they were taken to [[Hoover Dam]]. Frenzy slipped away then... and fell off the side of the dam, landing painfully at the bottom. This did allow him to sneak into the secret [[Sector Seven]] operations hangar deep within the damn, where both the [[AllSpark]] and [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]] had been kept for nearly a hundred years. He tapped into the AllSpark's power to restore his body, and sent a signal to all the Decepticons on [[Earth]] that their prizes were here. He also killed a few technicians, letting him screw with the cryo-stasis machines that kept Megatron entombed, allowing the Decepticon leader to escape.

When [[Agent Simmons]], [[John Keller|Secretary Keller]], Maggie and [[Glen Whitmann]] ran to an ancient storage room to try and get a Morse Code message to the Air Force via shortwave radio, Frenzy followed. While Glen jury-rigged outdated machinery to send the messages, Simmons and Keller tried to shoot the diminutive Decepticon. Frenzy made it into the room via the air ducts, and sent a series of flying blades at the humans. One, however, ricocheted madly across the room, and took out most of Frenzy's head. With a muttered "ohshit", Frenzy collapsed.

==Toyline==

First previewed in Hasbro's pannel at [[Botcon]] 2007.

The Transformers animated toyline successfully merges the more fluid, expressive design style of the cartoon with extremely poseable robot forms (to a degree even Hasbro seemed pleasently surprised by). Unlike the most recent franchises before it there is no line-wide gimick (such as [[Minicons]] or Cyberplanet keys) rather transforming IS the gimick, and toys will have other special features that are unique and appropriate to the character they depict. Though the designs have originated with Hasbro and Cartoon Network, Takaratomy is stepping up to the plate once again ot design the toys.

The toyline is currently schedualed to debute ~March 2008 with a special "battle pack" featuring several figures. The full toyline will debute sometime a few months after that.
