Exodus
Prowl acted as go-between for the civilian High Council guards and various city-state militas. He allied with Optimus during Megatron's attack on Praxus. During the siege of Iacon Prowl informed Optimus that Megatron was aboard Trypticon Station. Optimus feared Megatron had found a new weapon. Alpha Trion asked the Autobots what they knew about Energon. Prowl tried to silence Jazz's jokes as he felt anything the Archivist had to say was significant, but even he laughed when Jazz felt Alpha Trion had not sufficiently explained what Energon was when he said it was the emanation of Primus. Alpha Trion then adequately explained Megatron had found Dark Energon, the emanation of Unicron.

Optimus ordered Prowl to lead a guerilla team to draw out the Darkened Decepticons, to waste the resource in chases, when Prowl received a communication from Starscream requesting a meeting. Prowl offered to go meet him in case it was a trap, but Optimus requested Starscream speak to him on a secure channel instead. When the Darkened Decepticons stole the Plasma Energy Chamber, Prowl helped fight them off and got Ratchet to repair Omega Supreme, whom Megatron almost killed. Afterwards, Prowl received a distress signal from Sentinel Prime. He traced it to Kaon, as he recognized the signal blocking its source was used by gladiators to hide messages they didn't want on the Communication Grid from his pre-war days working in the Hydrax-Badlands circuit.

Prowl rescued Sentinel with Optimus and Jazz. While recovering, Optimus went to Cybertron's core to purge its Dark Energon corruption and returned declaring Project Generation One. Prowl became part of the Eight Track crew, boarding Trypticon and sustaining heavy damage battling its drones and Minicons. He helped destroy its Dark Energon Facility, causing it to crash into the planet. He boarded the Ark with the other Autobots, journeying through the last space bridge to a spiral galaxy. Then Prowl detected the AllSpark. Transformers: Exodus
:::It's during the in-game banter, I'd say during the second autobot chapter but could be the third. ::::Everyone at Hasbro sure seems to think so. Exodus, which is written apparently from the Prime show backstory, includes the events of WFC loosely within its second half. --ItsWalky 19:11, 29 June 2010 (EDT)
::And there are others. Well, I haven't read Exodus but based on the summary on this wiki it's more like two different stories that reach the same end point. For one, in WfC Optimus doesn't become a Prime at the beginning of the war, but after Zeta's death, mere days before the evacuation. And the Matrix is introduced in a completely different way, possibly doesnt even exist until the end of chapter 8. Bobbington 08:29, 30 June 2010 (EDT)
:::Exodus tries to have it both ways. Once you get to the end of the book and Sentinel dies, Optimus gets the Matrix then, and Alpha Trion notes that Prime wasn't truly a Prime until this moment, regardless of what the council said. So he was dubbed a Prime by the council at the beginning, but it wasn't really true until just before they left Earth. --ItsWalky 08:34, 30 June 2010 (EDT)
::::Yeah, I guess it's an honorable fix, yet still doesn't mesh, mind you. In the game it's mentioned Optimus first refused to be a Prime, which is why he doesn't have the title (whether or not this landed Zeta the job is unclear since the way they word it at times I may almost think they could have several Primes at once) and the Matrix is unrelated to the Council and the Prime title they bestow.Bobbington 08:42, 30 June 2010 (EDT)
:::::Why don't we just change the opening to "The young bot who would become Optimus Prime" rather than have it at Optimus or Orion Pax, and wait until Prime premiers and see if it ever goes with one or the other?
::The tricky bit is still that the game starts before he decides to become Optimus Prime, ie in the novel he goes from Orion Pax to Optimus Prime, while in the game he goes from Optimus to Optimus Prime.Bobbington 12:52, 30 June 2010 (EDT)

The Character profile here right now is all Exodus stuff. But almost all of it is stuff that is totally different in WfC. The Character profiles are supposed to be generic and fit all version of the character. I think this one needs to be moved to the Exodus sub-section and a new more general Prime (Prime) (that's fun) profile written, Yes?--ZacWilliam 08:57, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
:I agree, it's a bit too specific about the Exodus stuff considering what a big deal WFC is as a form of Prime media. So yeah, I've been suggesting this for a while, and this goes for all WFC (including Exodus) articles, which we're really treating as a separate franchise now we've gone with Aligned as the continuity family's name for now. Alientraveller 05:02, 28 February 2011 (EST)
::Right now I can see two distinct reasons beyond "no" (this isn't a poll actually). One, WFC is no less a franchise than Power Core Combiners, and it was a game accompanied by a novel, a comic and toys. At one point Prime toys were going to be released as Generations, but it's still a Transformers franchise. Afterall, Tracks was released as part of the unsubtitled range last year, but he's still a G1 character.
::Chris, I know how you feel about moving it to (WFC) as Prime is where we're really getting to know these characters, that's why we have the Prime designs as the main images. If you are for uniformity, perhaps it is time to move Optimus Prime (Movie) to "Optimus Prime (LVF)", and this to "Optimus Prime (Aligned)"?
::Regardless, I will be adding WFC Autobots and Decepticons cats to these pages. Alientraveller 09:45, 28 February 2011 (EST)
The Character profile here right now is all Exodus stuff. But almost all of it is stuff that is totally different in WfC. The Character profiles are supposed to be generic and fit all version of the character. :I agree, it's a bit too specific about the Exodus stuff considering what a big deal WFC is as a form of Prime media.
During the early days of the war against the Autobots, Barricade was part of the bridge crew of a Decepticon Star Cruiser under the command of their leader, Megatron, serving alongside Brawl. Megatron planned to steal the last remaining supply of Dark Energon from an orbiting relay station guarded by the neutral Sky Commander Starscream. After gaining entry into the station (by ramming the ship into the station; talk about a barricade), Barricade accompanied Megatron and Brawl into the station...so that Megatron could use the corrupted, highly dangerous energy source to 'save' Cybertron. Yeah, it wasn't a very good plan. While fighting through the station, and hordes of Starscream's soldiers, Barricade expressed doubts that Dark Energon was everything Megatron believed it to be, and also that the station was totally old and decrepit, noting in particular the large number of cubic crates. Strange he never noticed that fourth wall... Anyway, Megatron said he had plans to upgrade the station. Barricade further asked him what made him so certain he could control the Dark Energon, to which Megatron explained that only the strong could control such a power, and he was the strongest. Okay, so the invasion of Normandy, this really was not.

Megatron was getting annoyed by this point, and told Barricade not to question him again. Barricade obeyed, and despite his skepticism, helped Megatron secure the supply of Dark Energon. It would seem his skepticism about the Dark Energon was silenced when Megatron infused him with its power. Transformers: War for Cybertron (360/PS3/PC)
Barricade often sparred with other Decepticons in Kaon Stadium. When Soundwave discovered the location of Trypticon Space Station, Barricade was part of the crew of Megatron's ship during the attack. He was very concerned when the station defenses reduced the ship's shields to 15%, and told Megatron it was a big risk to take over a legend. Despite Barricade's worries, they took the station and obtained Dark Energon. Following tests, Barricade asked Soundwave what happened to the failed test subjects, but Soundwave's reply didn't reassure him. He reluctantly submitted to an infusion of Dark Energon at Soundwave's hands.
Starscream discovered the existence of the Energon Bridge, which they could use to repower Trypticon station, but they would need all of the Dark Energon they had left to reach and reactivate it. Barricade was skeptical that they should risk everything on Starscream's word, but went along with the plan anyway. They reactivated the Energon Bridge, but the Autobots severed the link to the core, and secured it with the Omega Key. As the Decepticons attempted to track the Key down, Barricade expressed doubt that anyone would follow Starscream, but the Air Commander was convinced his time would come.

They found the key, but to Barricade's alarm, it merely activated Omega Supreme, who kicked all of the Decepticons out of Iacon. Barricade was convinced they should retreat, but at Megatron's urging, the Decepticons moved forward and managed to defeat the giant. They subsequently infused the core of Cybertron with Dark Energon. Transformers: War for Cybertron (DS)
Barricade is a true speed demon, powering his engine to speeds faster than some jets.
